Project Description

For this class project, I want you to write the absolute worst digital copy you can think of. Use mistakes you learned in this class and any other bad copywriting errors that you think other writers should know about. The type of copy you write for this project can be anything you would normally use or would like to use for your business. Your project could be an email newsletter, a social media post, an ad, or any other type of digital copy you’d like to write.

I want to see what comes out of your imagination. To get you started, here are some ideas:

-”Creative” spelling and punctuation

-Distracting design

-Overly pushy calls to action

When you’re done with your project, take a screenshot and upload it to the class project gallery so that other students can see your “absolutely awful” writing. Then take a look at other people’s projects and leave them a comment with some feedback. This way, we can all learn and enjoy together!
