1. Class Intro: Hi. Welcome to this class and this class. You'll be learning how to use the coral. Draw software from scratch. So Corral Draw is a software where you have several tools to work with so that you can create business cards or logos from scratch. And you can create special effects on your pictures as well. And you can then also learn how to work with the settings, which are the doctors in Kerala. Andhra, and you will also be learning. What's the differences between different work spaces and how to use the interface? Aside from that, you will also be learning how to create new shapes and how to bland's and caught shape so that you will have your own special shake created, and you will also be learning. What's the difference between several pipes off work spaces? So if this all souls fantastic to you, then you should enroll in this class and you should stars learning about how to use the CorelDraw software because it is a really great alternative or software's like Adobe called the Shop and Adobe Illustrator 2. Open a document part 1: So here we are at the homepage off CorelDraw. You'll see here that you have the option to create a new documents evening from template and an open documents. So open document literally brings you to wear. Your documents are And here you see that you have also the new from template. So if you want to select something new from temporary, you will see that here in the business cards you can then open as an example off how the business card should be here. You see all these types off things that you could open. So, for example, if I'm open this I cook on open, you will see that it was an open it up in coral draw. Do you will know what the size exactly is. It will also say here in the X and y and here I am then going to go again in a new documents. So you see here that I can create a new document even when I am inside off and already opens document. So here I can then changed the name to whatever I want. So I can change it to For example, Project one here in the pre so destination. You can choose between a few off the presets. I recommend using costume, but you can also use the CorelDraw defaults. Or you can go to, for example, or G b, which means the red, green and blue color, which is the color that you use for digital drawings. And you can also use it for websites. So the difference between the C. M I K and R C B s that the C M y que esta carta to print out on paper, and the RGB s a color to use digitally. So this is the main difference between these two options. Here, I'll just leave at custom and here in the size you see that you can also select a business card or the format off the paper A four, which is the normal paper that you use for printing. And if you want a bigger size, you can always go to the top. And if you want to go to a smaller size in the formats, you can then go to a higher number in the letter A. Because those are all printed, all four paper use. So here you see that you have the wit and height here, I usually use a 2000 with and the height want also five founder in pixels Because I don't like using other units as measurement, you can choose here which units is the best for you. And they are definitely other units, like inches or millimeters that are used more frequently so you can choose which are the best in your opinion. And here you see that you can also change it to portrayed, which will then reverse no weight and the height so it is larger in the height and the landscape. One is bigger in the wit. So here I would rather use landscape one if I am created, especially basis card, a logo or if I am adding pictures as well, because usually you have a bigger wit on Lee. If I create a character from scratch, our used to portray it's because it wouldn't be bigger in the height, and here you can create number of pages so that you have several projects going on asthma. So right now you see, for example, I have page two over here at the bottom. You can also skip it to page two so that you can go to page two here. And if this one is black over here, you can then go to a previous page. That happens if you are for example, at page two you will see that you can then go to previous page and then here you can select the color. Like I said, our GPS for digital and see mrk is for when you are printed out and then you have to rendering a resolution which I recommend a Have it at 300. So right now that I have my new project here, you will see that I can add more pages over here at the bottom. So here, you see, if I click here at the left eye, I can add a second page and if I click here on the forward bottle, it will forward it to second page. And if I go back, it will go to page one so that this town hall to work with the pages and what you can also do here is goto foul and you can open a document just like the home screen where you can also open any document. And you can also close only one tap or you close all tap together, which is also possible. And it will then close the whole suffer for you. And this option here is for saving. So the difference between saving and safe ass is that when you save something, it will then safer without changing the name. If you already have given the documents a name So let's say here, for example, my name is Project One. If I draw anything on here, you'll see that I go to fall and safe it. It will automatically safer to Project one because I don't have it saved yet here as project one. So if I click once on safe here, you will see that the next time I create something new on it. So let's say I create erectile over here and I go again and I save it. You will see that it's well, just safer. And I don't have to change the name. If I goto safe ass, I will have to change the name, or at least see what the name is again and then click safe manually from the documents where it is safe. That Okay, so here you see, I can also say for that stamping over here and then you can open. It s well again as a temporary. So here you can see all the types off falls as well that you can see if it s so. If, for example, I go to safe as here you will see that I also have the CDR, which is the coral draw documents. And then you can also import image. So here, if I import an image, you see that it will then bring me to my falls where I have my Amy Safed. Usually it is where you have left off at the last time before you try to import a picture. But here it will bring me to my pictures directly. Or you can just click on a special place where your picture is supposed to be safe. That and here, for example. You can then insert anything you want. So here, if I click on import, you will see that I can then import my picture over here. And I can select the size instantly as well so that it will appear as that specific size here in the document. The difference is that when I open any document it wouldn't open a new document for me. So you will see here yet I will have a new tap at the top over here. So, for example, if I open an existing far like here, back off off Text FM, for example, you will see here that it will have a new far for me. And if I am poor, just anything. So I import only the image. It will then half the image over here. It will then open it up in the same document and not any different documents. And here I can also export it. So if I want to export my picture that I created, I can just click on export here and you will see that you will have a pack or PNG as an option for images. The differences said With Jay Pack, you will always have a white background. If you don't have a background created on the image, you will know if the document is transparent by seeing that the background has only the rectangles which is cree and white. It will then make it whites. When you see for escape 3. Open a document part 2: so I can show you a better example right now. So let's say ideally this and I go to, for example, picks a B. I can show you a better picture off What a transparent picture should be. So here I'm going to go to, for example, a factor image. And then here I'm going to type in a character. You will see that some characters here will have a transparent background. You see these rectangle forms that are gray and white. So when I just copy this image instead of city it and then imported, I can pace it over here. You will see that it will have black background over here. But what if I have an image that doesn't have any back row at all? So let's say I go here in the pictures I select for safe pictures over here. I might have some picture here that doesn't have backgrounds like this one. This one doesn't have backer at all. You see at this totally invisible. So if I drag it over here, you will see that if I go to export at the farm in New, you will see that you have the option toe have it A shape bit maps. So here, if I slagged j pack mid maps and I exported, you will see that here I can then select the options for what I want to export. It s but I rather prefer this one. So I want a full purview. I want, for example, hear the background to be white. You can also like another backer color, but it is impossible to have it at invisible in the background. And then here you see, I can sack for original high quality at Sitra. But I just like high quality and the car more. You can change it to grace skill which will then change it to gray and white. Or you can you see em like a color that is the color to print out se m i k stands for cyan , magenta, yellow and key. The key sense for black. So this is a mixing off these colors and crying on Just leave at RTB color and here in the quality hourly for it high. So here I'll just click, OK? And you will see that when I open it up over here, you'll see this is my operational logo where it says ships for logo. And here I have another one that is called Project with number one. So here, Project number one, you will see that it will then be white in the background because I say for that sage a pack. Okay, so that is what happens when you safer as a J pack or you exported as a J pack and you will see that if I exported SP nt, it will be the same. Asked that specific blow go over here which won't have any background. So if I click OK right now and I just opened its here you'll see that when I go the pictures and safe pictures, I can then have protein number one which is also in visible in the background. So that is then a difference between P and G and J pair. Usually PNG is also better in the quality so that this why I recommend using PNG if you want to print out, especially because you don't want the background to have a color. Okay, so here you can export it for the friend types, off websites, or suffers as well, like the office software or the WordPress you can send to any device over here, so documents or email is also possible. You can publish it as a Pdf, because so if you want to use any shapes with text, you can publish its to be F just to make it more clear. And here you can print out as well, and you can always call the print preview toe Check how the Prince Review is before you print it out. And in case you want to go back, you can always go here in the foul, and then you go to close print review. You will go back out to where you were, and then you can also select for print directly. Yes, well, and it would then ask you for the options off printing. And here you see in the composite that you also have these colors, which are the colors that our forms in the CME Waikiki you see here. So here you always have the options as well to change it in the late all like fits to page , and you can then change your settings to the peach as well. Here in the position size. For example, if you want the logo to be more in the middle or more in the laughed at Sitra, and here you can then print registration marks so that you know where the piece number should be. So these are all things that you need to know about the file menu. 4. Panels: Welcome to ing on lecture where I'm going to show you how to work with the panels. So here you see at the rights. I have several panels here open. If I close them, I can close them by clicking here on the X button here and in case I want to open them. I can always go to a window menu here, and I can then go to doctors and I can then open my panel. So whichever here has this check mark in the beginning means that it is already open. So if I select it again, it will then close instead of open. And then I can open in back if I click on it. So here you'll see that if I want to drag it here so that it will be the same toolbar like this one. I can then drag it here. Okay? This is how you did. I get to the right side. In case you want this to be in the middle so that you can see it better. You can always track this as well in the middle. Whenever there's a highlight, it means that you can drag it over the specific area and it were up here, over there. So right now you see that I can then practice and it will then gets highlighted over here. So it showed them be glutes over here. Okay, So that this, then how I do it. And then if I want to open it again, I just double click on it. Okay? So you can also open a new window by clicking over here. You will see that it will create a new tap for me which will then be the second part off untitled one. Because if you want to create a new document over here with another name, you should then goto foul and go to new. So here I can then also refresh window to go back to the beginning. And I can also close this window so that it will down Bring me back to my welcome screen. So here I can also close also that it will close the whole software. I cannon cascade it, which will make it then loose from the top here so I can and drag it back to the top and then make it larger. Okay, So this is then how you can work with it. Okay, so right now they are back to the top. And you can that also go to tile Horace Totally. So that they will be next to each other like this. Or you can also tallit vertically so that they will be on top of each other like this. Okay, so you can combine the windows together like this. So there are many things that you can actually do with the window. And you have to work space here as well. Also here, for example, you can then select for the faults or another workspace. If you have a drawing tablet, I recommend using touch. But with the torch you will see that the menus will disappear. So if you want to check them in you back, you go here at the bottom and then you go toe options and then you change back to default, and it will show you them in your back like the default. Some things. OK, so this is then how you work with the window menu and in the doctors here, you will find a lot off useful panels which I will be explaining in the next feed use. And here you also find the tool bars as well. So if you want, for example, a specific toolbar here, for example, the tax one You see that it's well, then up here, here at the top. So this is then how you can enable these tool bars and otherwise you can just close them. And here you can also change the color palettes. Over here, you can select different color palettes that exists. And here, when I go to my color palette here at the top, you will see that I can also drag it out. So here, you see, I can drag it out whenever I see this coarser. So you see this curse that goes four ways. This means that you can drag it out to another area and here you can also select. It's to be close, for example, if I go palette, I can close it. So in the next few videos, I will be explaining to you about the object manager. The object properties, the toolbar, but also how to use the guide. Nice 5. Object manager: So in this lecture, I want toe explain how to work with the object manager. Here You will see that I have my object manager at the right side. But I can drag it out because every time there's a highlight, it means that I can drag it over there. Okay, so right now that I have it here, I can show you what you can do with the layers. Every new object a separated from the previous order. Next object. So they all have their own anything options. So you see that in layer one? I have an ellipse at the moment which is made from the Ellipse. Tal and I can create a rectangle over here. So you see that I can then also group them. So if I select the shift model and I it's like them together, I can right click on it and then I can group objects. It will be one object in. So here you will see that I can group them this way either though it is on wall layer. So if I select this layer and drag it earlier number two here you will see that it will be impossible to group them, so if I select both of them together, you will see that I don't have the option to group them. I can create a new object toe, which is the same as what I did here to create a rectangle for an ellipse. Also here. If I slack them here, I can group them together, or I can on group them as an object. So that is done. The difference between having it in separate layer or having it in one layer. In CorelDraw, you can have many objects in one layer and still only added one layer because you can block all of them separately. So here, for example, if I select only this layer, I can right click on it and lock object. You'll see it right now. That's when it is locked. I can then, and it's whatever is behind it. And let's say, for example, they are both blue. You will see right now that nothing happens if a select group, because it was locked, so let me unlock it first. So right now, if most of them are blue like this and you wants to be able to add it to the one in the back. You can always look this one first. So the one at the top is always the one in the front. So you lock that object and then what happens is you can goto view and then change it. Tow wire frame. So you can then still select the one in the back over here and then added it like so instead off always having to click on earlier or guessing where it should be. So there are many ways that you can work with it. And here, right now, you see that I can then on lock it back. And if I go back to view in normal, you will see that I can see the color again. Okay, so there are sometimes things that happens that it will be in the guides instead off in the normal layer. If you made a mistake and you drag her to the guys, you will see that here you were only half the blue line. Even though it shows here, that's the color is light blue. You will still not see the inside color because it is on guide. So here, if you drag it back to earlier, you can then have it with the color and you can also change the order. So let's say you want to drag this at the bottom. So right now, if I drag it here, you will see that this will go in the front. Another way to do that is also right. Click on it and then order it to front off the page or back to the page quarterback off earlier. So if you have several years, you can then dragged her to the back off other layers like so. And another thing that you can also do. If you select this option here at the top left corner, you will see that it will show you the object properties mature. Then show you the coat off the color or the number that the color is in the darkness or in the lightness. Okay, Another option instantly. Your manager for you. So you can feel all pages in case you have more on one page, which you can add here at the bottom. You will see that there is another page here, and you will have new layers as well. Okay, so right now, in page one, I don't have anything at all. So what happens is that I have create these layers, and they are now on page two because I have added a new page over here. So in case you want this to appear only impish, too, you can have it at page two, and in case you want, it's to be on Lian Ph. One. You can also drag this two page one over here. You will see that you can drag it earlier. So right now this is fun. Ph. One in the canvas, and this is on page two in the canvas. But what if you want to have it available? Are pages. You can go here at the bottom and create a new layer, or it can also go here at the right side, and you can create a new layer over here and you'll see that the new layer will be on Page two because I am at pace to at the moment. But if I want it's to appear on all pages, I can drag it to the master page here, and let's see here. I select this specifically year, and I draw, for example, a store I can then color it this blue, for example, and you will see that it will also exist on page one. So Page two and page one it will appeared over there because it is in a massive page. I can also right click on it to rename it. So let's see. I call this star. You will see that this will then have the name star. You can copy it and paste it as well, in case you want to make a duplicate off this layer. But you can also do is hide the layer or lock it. So let's say you want to work across the leaders. Instead, you will see that you can then height this one instead. And you can separate the object in differently years, which will that make it easier for you to focus only on one so you can then lock this one, for example and even hide it. Or you can even disable it for printing like so. But you'll see that when I click on add it across the years, you will see that the other layers that I haven't selected will then be disable, so I can only work with this one. So this is also in under option that is available in core algebra. It will make it easier for you if you are only focusing on one object in the whole project at the moment. Okay? So that is then how you work with the layer and guys and that this is a difference between the Master page and the two other pages. 6. Object properties: Okay, so right now we are at object properties. As I've mentioned before, When you are at Opta Properties, you half their from ways to change the outline. Like here. This is the opening color that you can change. So if you for example wanted to be orange, you just select the color orange here and it will then change it to color orange. If you don't want any outline at all, you can also change it here to known and you will see that it is known existence here line means that it shall be very small in the size. And then you can also make it more pixels or two pixels or eight pixels, depending on how thick you wanted to be. So right now you see that you can either change the measurement o other types of measurements and this is basically for the corner off the rectangle. So if you have this on zero, you will see that it will not like eat up the rectangle here. But if you have it on like 200 for example, it will be easier for this. A rectangle specifically to don't have the rest off the shape here in the corner because that this water miter thus okay, so here you can also change the corners, depending on what type of corner, if you want, so you have to then create the rectangle after you select these specific types because right now, here you see that this rectangle makes a lot more difference. And the one before and for example, if I have it on 50 and I changed it to this one and I create a new rectangle, you will see the difference here. So right now they sistan the difference between the two. I can even some it out and you will see the difference. It is always better to select this first and then you create a rectangle form. Okay, so right now back here, you will see that I have the option to change the form into an arrow. It will start an arrow at the start off the line so it will only work when you are creating a line with the line to so here. For example, if I choose a 2.9, for example, and show them returns into an arrow like right now you see, this one turns into an arrow and here you can then select the position off your rectangle and here in the field you will see that you have the option toe feel in the color. So let's say here I feel it orange. You see that we have the option to have uniform feel, which is the solid color we have to have found them feel which is an invisible color. You see here it will make its half invisible. And in case you don't want this for, we can also change it here. By the way, the elliptical photo feel also excess which will create like a circle in the middle or in the center off the rectangle four. And here this one will make it half like an except interchange here in the colors. And here you will see that this one will make it look like a form off a shining diamond. And here you will see that you can add patterns to it, so it depends which factor pattern you want. You can select a lot off types here, but I like the blue one here and then you can go toe bit map pattern fill which will feel in bit maps for you, which are usually photographs off patters. The difference is that factor images are to the based, so it's like when you draw cartoons. Those are a factor image and a bits map image is like when you create photographs from the camera that those are bit maps, images. So here you have two column pattern. So you see this is like on orange color and then white color. You can then also changes to any other color. So let's say I change Mr Blue or green. You see that the other color will then stay white unless you change that as well. So here, if I changes to purple, the other apartment become purple, and then you have to blend transition to change it, either mirror horizontally or mirror it vertically like so. And here you have the transformations as well, in case you want to skew it or you want to make it wider or make it higher. And this one is for when you want to move it to the left. All right, and then we also have here. If I click on the arrow at the bottom, a two color pattern fill its but we are using right now. And we also have a texture, Phil. So we can choose between many types of structures and we have a postscript, Phil. So in the post gonna fill you, Can there select on these other types off images as well, like drawings. So at this very creative software and you can do a lot, but it's and then here we have our transparency. So you have noticed that when I am at feel you also have the transparency here. So let's say if I go here to the top, you will see that it will go back here in the icon. You will notice that they keep jumping. If I go to a specific part, like right now it is that Phil it's because they were all show no matter where you are. It's just that if you want toe, filter it to a specific option, you can then click here on the icon and it will filter it to that option for you. So here, in transparency, you can change the blending mode. These modes are basically for changing colors or adding special effects, which I will explain in next video. And here you also have to rectangle form that you can change. So here, If you choose for scalloped corner, you will see that if you go to the corner size and you make it bigger, it will then make in this part off the corner like it is eaten. So it will look like it is a ticket for the movies. And here you'll see that this is for when you want to have a round corner. So the higher you have the pixels here, no smoother. The corner will be instead off a sharp corner. And then you have, like, the chance for corner, which is like a corner that is diagonal. And if you want this to be more diagonal, you make the pixel higher. And if you wanted to be less in the corner size, you make it low. Like in the Sierra pixels, you will see it will turn back to the original corner, which is the sharp corner here. So you can either and that's the corners together. Or you can also unlock it here so that you can only change one part off the corner here in case you want to make it a special shape. You can always use this option here so that you can add it one part only And the other party relief it like it ISS. 7. Blending modes: So in this lecture, I want to show you how to work with the blending moves or the merchant so you can select all the types off options that you want to apply it to. I will just select all of them. And then here you see that with the merch more I can insert two pictures, which will be easily understandable then if you are using it on a drawing because you have to draw something really obvious or thick for you to understand what's going on. So I'm going to insert this picture as well. Here and here. I'll drag get on top of it. Okay. So right now, I can also go transparency to him here, which I will also get these merch moats. And what I'll do then is I can and changes to per sample screen, and you will see that it will that make it like a cinematic look. Like the grow is looking through the view off the castle and you can then also select more off these merchant. So, for example, you can make it lighter, you can multiply it. You can make it a difference or sub struck did or you can add to it. So there are many things that you can do so that it will create special effects in pictures Would also when you are creating drones. Okay, so these are then what you can do with the merch moats. It's the same here in the Transparency two in the object properties. You will see that when you changed it to color here, it will also apply it to air and the screen as well and the lightness and saturation as small. So all these modes will then be applied to the picture or whichever object that you're using. Ask the object to at lease merch, Moz, together with its 8. Using colors as visuals: So let's say we have a beautiful image here. You want to add a tax to it. So let's say we at a tax here and we call it mountain hiking and you see that you can also add for families, for example, and we don't drag it to the left side here to make it more in the middle off the text. So let's say this, for example. So let's say this wasn't the color black. This is the color blue instead. So here, if I select everything inside here, I can changes to this color blue, and you will see that it will be very hard than to focus on the specific tax. Here, you will focus more on the background. If it is mandatory to have it on blue, you will see that it will be easier if you make a backgrounds. So let's say I create a background over here and let's see, I make it white. I can then disable the outline, my going to my object properties here I can, then geezer all 99. And if I right click on it, I can oreta back off the page. So right now it went to the back off the page, but you can off course drag it here in a layer as well in object manager just below off the artist text. So let's see here, drag, it's here. That's the back off the text, so you can then create this image just behind off the tax so that the text will stand out then and not the background. So this is many different ways that makes the color that you're choosing very important, and if you make it, for example, black, you will see that it will also make it stand out. So it has to be a very big contrast behind the letter and the background for you to focus on the letters instead and not the background. And if you think that's the background off the text here is too much. You can always change its to, for example, a transparent color, and you see that it will still half the focus on the tax. But you will still see the background as well, so there are many ways to play with the color so that you make wanting more important or the focus points off the whole picture. This is very important for when you want to create, For example, advertisement as well. Make sure that the one that is most important will stand out and while it's less importance will be hidden in the background. You can also blur it out as well in the background. If you don't think the back row is important, you can, for example, go to big maps. Since this is already a bit map, you can then just head over to the blur effect here and still ago, Schindler. And then you can bury all, for example, three pixels like here you see the system making it already a little bit blurred out. The reason that you have the option convert a bit. Man, If I create this rectangle in Colorado and I draw it, for example purple, you will see here that I can go to option properties and change. All right, a non and I can head over to bid maps, but I need to turn it into a bed map first for me to be able to use these effects here. So then if you convert a bid map, you can then sack 300 resolution, which is the best So I click OK here. That will change the color a bit and you will see here that I can then use the Blur and on the go Schindler for it. So this is then how I blurted out. So let's say, for example, I had over 2 80 ever blurted out a lot more. And if I had over two, for example, Tenet were blurred out less so that this then how you can blow out something that you created from scratch or anything at IHS Factor based because and the image that you import from the Internet will be a bathmat for sure. So if it is already bit name, no need to convert again to bid map. You will also know if you go to the big maps menu and you go to blur, you will see that if it is not a big map, it will always be great out so that you cannot click on it 9. Quicktrace: So here I am going to insert an image in this lecture, and I'm going to show you how you can make an image a watercolor drawing. So let's say for example, I have this image over here. You will see that it has ah, blurred quality at the moment. It's on a little bit. Picks late that So let me make it to fit. Okay, So I know I have this. You will see that I can select it and I can choose the option Tree Smith map. When I select on quick trace, you will see that it will turn it automatically in a watercolor throwing so you don't have to even be excellent at drawing. You can select an image and you can just use the quick tracing and it will then change it into a watercolors robbing for you. And you will see that you can change the layers as well. So the watercolor were then be in the front and the RGB will be in the back like soap. Okay, so right now you can on group all objects or you can on group the specific object that you want, so I can also select this one, and you will see that there will then be ah, lot off curves here in the object manager. So this is then what I mean minutes having different curves, which doesn't have anything to do with the earlier. So you can then have an endless amount off course or objects in coral dra on one lier only , or also on separate layers. And if you want to group them back, you just right click on it and you group the objects back because right now you see they are all a separate object because they all have their separate note. I don't recommend to combine them because if you combine them, you'll see that it will then change the colors because whenever you combine an object, although ones that are on top of each other will change color. So here are just group the object back and you'll see that it will then make its the factor image just like a cartoonist IQ environment. So this is that how you change a bit map into a watercolor drawing 10. Bitmap to Vector: So in this lecture, I want to show you how to turn a big map into a factor image. If you want to have a website where you can get free images free for commercial use, also known as creative Commons, you can goto on splash where you can get a lot of high quality images which are mais by a real photographers. And you can then copy them and paste them in CorelDraw or import them by saving them first . So here in the search and John, you can then insert the word sit, escape, for example, or anything that comes to your mind. And then you can piece it here in CorelDraw. So you're right. Click and then you paste it on the canvas and you will see that it will be here then. Okay, so right now, when I selected you will see that at the top off mine canvas. Here's the option to use quick trees, but also centerline trays and old line trace. So when I select centerline trees, you will see that you will get all these lines that will show the outline from the buildings or for all the other shapes that we have over here, so it will become like a fairy weird shape with all other flying's in between. So inside of that, you can also use a trace type and change it to outline, and you will see that when you change, it told I ever become more like a color off a cartoonist IQ backrooms. And then you see that you have the options to change it to logo detail over at ST, because when you are at center line, you will see that you only have the option technical illustration and lying drumming. Because those are the only option. You get to have the lines drawn for you as the shape that exists in the background. So if you don't want that, you can change it to outline trace type and then the type of image. You change it to logo or detailed logo or any other type off images that you get here so that it filter into a cartoonist stick corner or a Communistic background so that it will look more like a factor image. So if actor image has to do with anything that is to the which is a flat, a much so everything will look, then flat and knots like a tree, the image where everything has its own texture and its own form. So here you will see that the high quality is the preferred type, in my opinion, because it will show me a lot more details here. And I can also make the details higher in case I wanted to look more realistic. So sometimes you have to wait for it to loads before you can see the result. So right now here it looks almost the same as the top. It's just that the bottom looks more flat and it looks more like in a cartoonist IQ background than the one in the top, the one at the top. You'll see that it will also fade away when you zoom it in. That happens a lot when you have three. The images and flats images or to the images doesn't change a lot from the quality when you zoom it in. So here you can also change this moving and the corner smoothness, which will then affect how the outlines will be in the image and and the object of this insight. So here you can play with this and you can make it look more different if you change it to the highest order, lowest number or otherwise. You can also leave it in the middle if you want a contrast between the two. So here you will see that you can believe the original image so that you will only see the after result. Or you can remove background as well. But I don't really recommend to remove the background. If you select a specific color, it will then remove all that color inside off the image, and you will see that there will be a species here where it will be transparent. But I don't really recommend this on last. You have a background that a solid color and not many different colors because otherwise there will only be a small parts that will be removed. Okay, so this is then how you can remove parts off the background as well, and you can also merge at Jason's objects off the same color so the Atchison objects off the same color will be almost the same colors that are together. So let's say here in the sky you will see that there are similar colors together so if you want to remove that, it will also be possible to do that and authorized you disable it and you can also remove option overlap, which has to do but when objects are on top of each other in the layers, so if that happens, it will then remove it for you. But you have to select them the option to remove the background image, and here in the colors you will see that you will have the color started by similarity or by the frequency off the color. So here you will see the similarity has to do with how similar the colors are compared to each other, and the frequency has to do with how frequent the color is going toe appear in the image. So the more the colors appear in the image, the more the frequency will be and that will make it more to the top off. The options here that you can choose from and the one ender lower site is the one that will appear less. And here you also have the digital colors or the color for printing out or, for example, great skill or black and white. So I explained this in the beginning. Already black and white, just like it say's it will turn it into the color black and white and real skill will turn it into a Greek color. So black and white is more former. New. Create a comic. As you see. It will look more like an A comic book, like how the texture and the form off the background will look like. And here at the bottom, you can see if your colors you can add it to your colors. You can also bring in new colors that you have saved on your document, and you can then select colors as well or delete a few colors over there with the trash can . So here in the preview, you will see that you have the before and after right now. But you can also check for large perfume, which were then show you only the results that you have created and not the original picture. Oh, you can goto wire frame overlay, which will then show you the outline off the picture so you will see the old line off the building and the rest in the sky, for example, as well. It will look like a sketch that is colored Retz. And here you can then click. OK, if you want to apply the changes. So if I click OK, you will see that my bit mapped image will turn into a factor image over here and it will look more flats. So this is how to create a cartoonist IQ image. 11. Guidelines: So in this lecture, I want to show you how to use the guidelines. So if you want to be very precise with maturing your objects, I will recommend using the guidelines option. Here I have the panel open and in case you don't have open, you can always go to window doctors and then you click on guide nights. But I know it is open because you see a check in the front. If it's not open, you will see that it won't have any check in the front. Okay, so right now that I have to kind like enable you will see that when I am here, I can then at a horizontal line so that I know where the middle is. And I can also add a particle line so that I will know we're the middle years inside off the canvas. So you will see as well that you can select between different types off line. So if you wanted to be completely solid, you can then select the 1st 1 Or if you wanted to be a trace, you can select the second and the 3rd 1 so that it will look more like it this a dashed line. Okay, so right now that I have this, I'm also going to show you the view money where you can get, for example, the document grit which will then have thes blocks. And you will then be able to see were exactly you can then create your object and how big it iss by comparing its to the left and the right so that it will be symmetrical and otherwise you can also go to great and change it to baseline so that you only have four recent alliance. If you think that the horizontal part is the only important part in the object and off course, you house or half rulers and guidelines. So here you see that you can then disable the guidelines by clicking over here, and otherwise you can enable in back by having it activated. So it shall be checked here for it to be activated. Okay, so what you can also do issue choose for the page, border and the printing area. So here you will see where is the page border by having it over there? Because otherwise you won't see where is the end for a specific presets. and this is stand the principal area. So let's say if I printed out and I said, like this one, I will know where is the area that it will be printing out Since it's usually Prince hauled in a four, you have toe look where it starts and where it ends. So also there is the option to have toe bleeds area. So bleat is the area where it will cut off every object because it is just outside off the Kansas over here. So if you have something that this higher than it or larger than it, make sure that you minimize the size. Otherwise it will cut it off when you open it as a new documents. So that this stand the differences between all these measurement tools so that you can see how you can make your objects symmetrical and make it as professional as possible asthma. Okay, so besides that, you can also go here and show the rulers. So here you can then showed rulers, otherwise it will hide it. So if I click it to the selected, it will hide the rulers over here and here. You also have to show great so If you don't want to selected for the menu, you can also select it from here and here. You have also the guidelines. So if you don't want to see it, you can always elect it here as well as to disable it. Okay, so this is then the difference between all these option here. Okay. And here you also have the option to launch all the order Softwares. That comrade graphic suit or technical sorts depends on which suits you have. And here you also have the option for your workspace preferences. So here, for example, you can then change it toe illustrator or light or touch touches for when you are working on a drawing tablet. But you want to see them and you here. So if you select this and you will see that it will be calm without the menu, you can always go here at the bottom. There is disruption to change the menu. So then you can click on here at the bottom and you will see that you can then select them in you over there. So here with I click here at the bottom, you will see that I can then go to option again. And when I am at option, I can't then change it back to default. And when it is back to default, I can then see them in use again and then you can click. OK, so that this then how you work with these icons over here at the top. And you can also use this to import an image. So whatever am issue wants to import, you can start from there. And then you also have to icons to paste a copy or caught, which we all know what it does. So it is basically copying and pasting like here in the edit option, you cause copy and paste. And here this is the all new options and you can also see if your file and also open a file . So the difference between this pond and the import is that with import you will import an image or anything inside off the same document. And when you open a file, you open a completely new file here which will then open a new window here at the top as well. So you will see a do tap over here and here. You also can completely open a new documents so that it will also appear here as a new tap 12. Pick tool: So here. You see, this is our pick tool when I have my picture here and I create any shape like, let's say un create a rectangle over here, and I color it blue inside. I feel it in with the blue color. I can then go to my picture here he will see that I have the option to scale it up or skinner down. I can also pass on shift the shift key so that it will equally skillet up and equally skillet down as well so that it doesn't change in the proportions. Okay, So besides this, you also have the option to quick once on it again and then rotated around. So this is then how you rotated. And you can also change the center point, which you can also call the papers over here to the bottom, for example. And you will see that when you turn it around, it will turn it around starting from this paper over here. So wherever this point is, you will see that it will start dragging it from that's position. So right now it starts rotating it from this position over here, where the center point was supposed to be where the dot ISS you can, then dry gets or rotated starting from there. And then you also have the option to skew bit. So here in the middle, you will see that you can skew it by dragging its other left. It will then make the vertical lines diagonal. And if you drag it from the vertical eyes instead, it will make the horizontal lines. They are gonna instead. So it will go in the opposite direction and it will Danske with from there. Okay, so this is then what the picture does in Carlo draw. 13. Shaping: So right now I want to explain to you how to use the shaping option. So let's say here we have three the friends objects here that we can choose from. So you can different create like a rectangular shape here, and you'll see that you have the option to answer the color blue to it. And then I can create another one with another color. So right now, if I select here, I can change the color. And if I create in on the rectangular form over here, I can change this to a green color. So let's say here, you see that we have two separate objects. If I select both of them, you see the dearest, this option here to combine them. So what happens if a combined them is that they will literally become one object? And then there will be this difference. Over here were the objects connect to each other. So here, if I combine them, you will see that they will turn seeing color and indeed this part where they connect to each other, it will then be a white color. So that will be the difference in the color there. And if I don't want them to be combined. I can then click here again to break it apart or are compress on control key. And you will see that they will then be separated from each other. OK, so when I slack both off them, you can also select for option welt. So if you select wealth, you will see the table be glued together instead and you'll see that right now. Here you can then create like some type off, see with it. So if I have this like a very short version, you will see that this will then look like Z and with my shape toe, I can then as well practice to the left side. And here I can also track this toe the left like so and I'll make this flat like this so I can then use my shape too. So create in other forms using the option to wells them together. So this is then what you can do with the wealth option. But you can also use it, for example, for shapes that have like a hole in between. So let's say here I select the base. Saito and I create like a rectangle form over here, I connect them all together and then insight. I want them to connect to each other again. So instead of doing that, I can also copy or duplicate this one. So here I'll duplicate this exact one and then I'll make it smaller and then I'll drag it inside over here. So right now we have two objects over here that are separate. But if we select welt, you will see that it will then become one object. And the one that is inside doesn't exist anymore. So this is then also another way that you can create it, and in case you want to combine them, that is also possible. I select this here and I go to copy paste it and I make it smaller ice like this world and drag it inside. I can select the picture and combine them asthma. So right now they are together. So if I directed up, it will drag together with the one inside off it. And if I select it again, you will see that it will also select the insights off. It's like so So this is that in many ways, that you can create the shapes, using the options to combine and two welt. But there is also in under option here. For example, if I slack both off them, I can also use the Intersect option. So let's say if I intersect them, I can then select the rest off the line over here like so. And then here you see that I have created a Patil off a flower. So then, with this one, I can then copy it, paste it. And when I selected once again, I can then use the picture here, selected once again, and I'll drag the center point to the bottom here, and then I can create another Patil over here. And then I can keep the plicating ants, which I can then drag. It's here, and I just rotated to the other side like this, and we can also duplicate this one here, and then we flip it particularly like so we mirror. It's practically with that option there, and then we can drag it to the bottom and you'll see if I dragon more to the middle. Here we have a flower so you can create so many shapes with these options, and then we also have, like the option here, too. Create three polygon sheep here. So I duplicated. And then let's say I direct this to the other side, like so and that I duplicate one again. And this one I drag it to the middle over here. Okay, so right now, when I select them all with my picture, I can then also select for auction trim. So what happens is that when you trim it, it will then caught the part out, which is in front, off a shape. So if this is the shape in the back, it will then cut out the one that has to shape in the front. So, like, right now, if I select this, you will see that when I order it, it will only have the option to order it to the front off the page. Because this bus, the one in the back. So whichever is in the front. Well, then we caught first because this is in the front, because I can only send it's two in the back off the page. Okay, so that is what happens when you ustream and another option that it's actually the same as it is this option right now, which is to simplify. So it will also trim overlapping areas among objects. So right now it has trim to the one that is in front, off the middle one as well, because this one is in the back and that one was in the front. Okay, so we have this option as well. But we also have another option to cause everything that is in the front, which is also possible. So let's say here I create more object. I select this specific one and on copy and pieced it and I'll drag IDs to this side. For example, we have now three objects over here. So right now we have this. We can that also select the fronts minus back. So everything that this then in the fronts will then stay, and what is in the back will be done deleted. So what you have to do is you order everything that you want to cause from the shape to the back off the page, and then that will be caught out. So here you can. Then as many off these circles like, so you create as many as possible. And then you just color them differently so that you know that they are different circles. So here I feel this in green. And this one orange on this small, I share it in rats. On this morning, let's say I feel in blue, and then this one, I feel it in pink. Okay, so right now we have these colors over here. You see that? I have separates once. So here this work, I can order it to the fronts. And this one s mom. I order it to the front, off the page on this one, for example, Or it So the back off the page, and only this month. So back off the page s well and this small owner and to runs and this won't ask our order into front off page. Okay, so right now, since we have this one, we can then select like the front minus back. So here, this one is the most in the front, so the rest will then be deleted. So that is how it works. And if I used opposite, which is the back miners, the front, You will see that only this one we're remain and the rest is in the front off it. So then that is the only thing that will be shown afterwards. Okay, so after that, you also have to create boundary, so it will then create a new object that will surround the older object. I create like a rectangle I selected once here. And I may get this start over here like so, uh, let's see. I change it to this specific style and I copy and pieced it. I can then select it again. Here, I'll make this shot back. Like so. Okay, so what happens right now is that this one? I can call her it blue and the other one here in the back. I can color it green. If I said most off them and I create boundary, you will see that it's well, then half this line creators. And if I must this one, you will see that it will then have this land created because that is the one that will show on top off the one in the back. So then this is how you can create your own object as well. By mixing two objects together and I knew, create an extra line that will have its own shape. And then you can fill that in with a new color, like an orange color 14. Shape tool: So in this lecture, I want to talk about the shape tool, which is this tool right here. You can also press afternoon to use this tool, so this tool is actually a total that will change the shapes off an existing shape or any line. So let's say, for example, here I create a line with, for example, my two point line. I drag it out like so, and you will see that this is now a straight line. So if I use my ship to right now, I can right click on any area and you will see that you have the option to kerf it. So if it is straight lying, it will show you this option to kerf. And if it is already a curve, it will show you this option to line, which will then make it a straight line as it stays here in the icon. This is a straight line, and this is a curvy line. So if I asked to curve here, you will see that I can then drag it out and it will then kerf it out for me. So this is then one way that you can use the shape to here and also you can add more off these dots that's will be called notes. So if I add something, you will see that there will be extra notes here and then with these extra notes, I can then kerf it more. The more notes you have, the more you concur for and the more corners you can have as well. And if you don't want so many notes, you can also delete them by clicking exactly where the notes iss and then you delete them and you can also smooth in. It s well, it will then at these lines for you where you can drag it out so that it will be calm, more smooth. Or you can ask asymmetric. Tow it so that it will then make sure that whatever is happening on one side, it will also added to the other side as symmetrical as possible. So this is then how you can work with it. And here you can also close the curtain. It wouldn't close occur for you. And if you think that the other lines to straight, you can also add in on the curve here and then you can drag it out like so So this is many ways that you can work with the shape tool and you can break it apart if you want them to be separate parts. So, for example, right now, if I drag it around, you see that it is one part. But if I break it apart here, you will see that they will be separate parts. Like right now, You see, this one is a separate part and this one as well. So this is then how the break apart works in every note. It will then have its own separate parts and then you can reverse so path as well. So here you see it will then reverse the path and it will then change the notes for you. And you will have to move them on a another way. So half the same results. So here we also have elastic mode. So with elastic ball, you see that you can drag it out however you want, and then you can Did I get back and you won't have these extra options that well either smooth it out or straighten it out. So here you have object properties. If you don't want the object properties. You can click on there and you see that you won't see the object properties here on the right panel. So if you want to see the object properties again, you just goto windows. You go to doctors and you goto object properties or you press on the key, old and enter. So here, when you goto object properties, you will see that you have a lot of options in the field, transparency and everything. So I'm just going to explain about the ship tool. And right now I can then delete the figure here and what I want explain next is if you use the rectangle, it'll, for example, here you can also use the ship toe to change the form off the rectangle. So here, if I press f 10 you will see that when I go here, I drag in it. Will that make the edges a smooth corner instead off a sharp corner. If I want a sharp corner back, I just drag it out and you see that it will become the rectangular form again. So this is then how you work with the sheep to and here you see, you also have to smooth smear, toe, attract repair it's much and Ruffin So to have a better idea off them, you need to fill it in with the color so that it will be easier to see what the FX are. So here, If I smooth it, you will see that I will get a lot off these extra notes here at the end off the line where the island should be. You'll see that there will be extra notes here. So when you smoothing its it will be easier for you to change their shapes. And then you have the Samir options. So what? The smear? You see that it will then make the old line unique, which will have like, these waves. Let's look like the waves off an ocean. This is one way that you can work with it and then you have to troll option. So with the troll here, you see that you can then make another bids Curly like so. And you also get more off these notes that you can then change their shape from you See here you can then dragged them off and they were all half their own separate forms when you have them done. Okay, so here you also have the option to twirled it. So right now, when you tour it, it will become Cooley, just like before. And then you also have to attract so in the attract here, you see that it will create a lot more notes for you. And what you do is when you use the shape toe you see that you can also change these notes over here. So you can either use that or you can also use the repel which will then make it half. Also, these notes and the repair option also gives you the opportunity to have all these parts that will be able to be manipulated separately. And then you have this much option which will then create all these extra parts from the rectangle as long as you smudge it out here and you also have to are often so with the rough on, you will see here at the edges that it will then make it as sharp as possible, which will then look like a broken paper. Here. You see that you have all these edges here on the paper so you can also create, like a type of postcard with it, and you can then use all these shape for many reasons. So here I'm just going to delete this shape right now. So I select it and then deleted. In the next video, we're going to talk about the crop tool. 15. Crop tool: So in this you capture, I'm going to talk about the crap toe the knife, toe the furter segments delete and erase all. So here you have the crop. It'll basically what you can do is you can use the crop tool with any shape or any pictures that you have imported toe CorelDraw. And for example, if I have this shape here on the color sky blue, I can I use my capital here and you will see that I can then select this specific area here . And when I press on enter, it will then crop the other area out. And right now, this is the figure that I have, which is a smaller figure. So besides the crop tool, we also have a life to here. So with a knife toe, I can then basically caught. Ah, few area off the crack. 10 0 here. You will see all these cuts over here and here. I can, then So no create more cuts over here. Like so? So right now we have all this area over here with the picture here, you will see that you can basically drag anything out with the picture. So here I can then create this shape here. I can then direct this specific part old, so every single one of these will then be a separate part. So if you select everything, you can group the objects, so it would then become one folder in the lier, and you can then also turn it into a new symbol. So that say, if you want to turn us in a new symbol, every other symbol that you will have here will then be the same. So let's say I call the symbol too. You will see that here when I want to create an extra off this, it will then also call it another symbol. So if by copy this I can then paste it, you'll see that the symbol will be the same over here. So whenever you create a symbol, you can keep duplicating it. And you must see that the symbol will be exactly the same as the one that you did before that. So this is then one made that you can use a knife and with the fertile Sackman delete, it is basically that if I see like this one, it will also affect the ones who have a part inside off this rectangle here with these dash lights. So, for example, if I select this area, it's supposed to delete all the other parts asthma. Right now it is one part. So that's why it is not actually the lead. They it because I symbol means that it will make all off them in one group. So what I need to do is Dan refer to objects. So right now it is several objects you will see here in the Ultra Manager. That's they are separate layers. So what happens is that when I use the fertile segment deletes two here like this only you will see that it will delete all the parts that are inside off the dashed line, which means it will also debate a part that is connected toe the order area here. So right now, this part has also been the leader because almost a larger parts that also must inside off the dash line. So that is basically what the fair told. Deletes does it deletes everything over there. Okay, So this is Stan. How you use the fear to segment elite and in the razor to it is quite easy. You just pass over anything that you want to your raise and it's what you races for you. So if you want to erase a picture, you can also important insight and you will see that it will be able to erase it as well. So here, if I have this picture right now, here. You see, if I used a razor to it can just deleted like so I don't need to break it apart at all. I can just pass my eraser toe over it, and it will delete it. So this is then how you use the four tools here that are together with the crop tool. 16. Zoom, Pan and Artistic Media Tool: in this video, I want to talk about how to use the zoom toe, which is a tool that you used to zoom in anything. So let's say if you have a picture over here, you want to zoom this specific picture if you select the specific area. And it was, um, done these four images here in and if you want to for extra, presume the ice and you see it with them, focus on the ice so that this whole you use the zoom tool, and then you can use the pencil to move around while you're growing. So if you are growing, you will see that sometimes you will need to add details toe you're drawing. So that's why it's easier to use the pen toe toe. Move the canvas around so that you can focus better on a specific area off a cartoon or off a character. So after this, I am going to talk about artistic media, too. So right now that we have the artistic media toe, I want to explain to you what it does here in the top. You will see that in the top left corner, be low off the menus you'll see that there are many ways that you can use the artistic media to here. This is one off the tools that you can use. And here you can select specified type off ways that you want, so draw so the lines will explain to you how you want it to be drawn. So, for example, if you want to draw the eyelashes, I recommend this one and for example, this one will be better if you want to draw like something sick, that is ending thick asthma. And here it were. Example, these lines here, you can draw it for here. So this one as well. This one is quite good for when you want to draw on here because you will see that it will then make the bottle kind off smaller like so. So if you draw it, you will see that it will fit more for when you are drawing the here off. A character like so and then you also have this selection here, so if you go here, you can then use it for calligraphy as well. So let's say you want to write your name down, and you can also create objects with it. So there are many things as you can create with these tools here. And then you have the brush strokes. So let's say you want, like footprints. You can create many types off things here, and you can also create eight like pants. Over here, you see how you can create several types off plans, and here you can also create stars like this. Make sure the pixel is higher than 10 because otherwise it will not work. If you have to pick so at 10 and you have also this one, which you can draw normally as well. So it doesn't matter what you want to draw. You have always very specific kinds off strokes here that you can choose from so that you can create the specific drawing that you want. 17. Text tool: So in this lecture, I want to explain to you how to work with a textile. Here we have the text. So you can also pressing F AIDS to select the tool. And basically, when you click here, you can Then just click once and you will see that it will have this typing option. So when you type, you can type anything and then you will see that after a few seconds, this box will exist. So when this box you can then moving Arons like So when you go to the middle, you will see that this curse A We're up here, which is to Custer to move it around. Or you can increase the size skillet up, or you can then scale it down my moving it inside. So scaling down basically means that you make a smaller and when you skill up, you make it bigger. Okay, so sometimes it happens that my new click on the textile like right now, if I click on texting again, you make a box first, and then you type in your name or anything that you want to type in. So let's say, for example, I type hear my name. You will see that when you create this box here, it's well, then, half these dash lines, you might have the urge to create a box first and then typing in the name because in other Softwares, that is usually how you create the words or any words that you want to create in the software to create the effect that you want. Okay, But in CorelDraw I advise to just type it out and not create a box. First, I will show you why. So here, when I open any picture here, I'm going to you sex this picture here and you'll see here that you have several pictures that you can insert. So let's say I select this specific picture. I drag it in. You see, we have a very beautiful picture here off a skyline. I'm going toe, make it smaller and show you what the differences are. So let's see here. I want to import this insight off the text. What I do is I can drag it attacks here, and I right click it. I can then order it through the back off the page so that I know where it ISS and I can then select it without it affecting the attacks at all. So here I can then go to poor clip insight and you'll see that when I pull Crip inside off attacks and well done, half this picture show me inside off a text. If the tax ISS boat, it's will then show more Yes, you see here or you can even make the text larger so that you will see more off the picture . Like right now you see the larger America, the more you see you can then also press on contro and then click twice and you see that you will have this picture and you can then readjust it as well afterwards. But let's say I'm present control and go back out and I do it the same thing here. I can then important my picture here as well our important same picture. I can make it smaller here and you'll see that when I drag it to this word here at the top , I can then also order it to the back off the page. But like right now, when I slack this tax here, I make it bold and also super big like to Horner's You see that it doesn't show anything because right now we need to make the box bigger for it to show. So that is then one problem off having the box. If it doesn't fit in, it will not show it. So then I need to make it back to 24 for example, and then make a bigger over here. So I know that I have it over here. You'll see that I can then inside the picture, inside affairs by power, clipping it as well. So here let's say I make this the same size as the name. I right Click on it. I choose for option power clip inside. You will see here that it will say the object you selected is invalid that you wish you try again in that's case, even if you click yes, it will then keep having this error. The reason is that you created the box first and not the letters by just typing it in. So that's why I recommend always to just type it in. Don't worry about making a box first, you just type it and it will create the box automatically for you in a few seconds like just like this one. If you click on it, you will see it has its own box and you can also change the latter type. So in case you want to appear more creative, you can always go for free hands, for example, or you can select any other type here. So let's say you like the M V boldly s. Well, you can also change it there and here in the point you see that mentally you can select up to 200 points. So in our Tane that you might have noticed off the tax, though, is that every time you type and letter in, you will see that there half these tax base line at the bottom which are notes that are on the left side off each letter. So here you see that you can select the shape tool to select any letter here and then you can move it up or down. So here, for example, I can then move my letter more to laugh for moving a little bit to the top. Like so and this one asthma. It's always the notes that you select on the left side that will affect the following letter so the end latter needs to have a note at the left and all these as well. So if you want to move them, you select the note on the left side and not the one on the right. And then here you see that you can then create your only sign off your letters and it will also all waste show you the baseline as well so that you know where all the letter starts or where the bottom off all the letters are. And this is then how you keep them in line. And this is Stan, what you can do with the tax toe. Aside from power, clip the image insight off the text here at the top. You also have some functions here which you can select so that you can change your style off your letters as well. So let's say if you want it to be in the style off a superscript, it will position the tax characters above the tax base line. So basically it wouldn't go more to the top. Like when I click it, you will see. Right now everything will go more to the top and these order tax base like here at the bottom. So this is the difference. And another thing that you can also do issues a subscript option, and it will then make the tax go below the tax base line. So here you see the tax base science or here where the notes are. It will go on the bottom of it and then you have small capitals, and then you have all capitals as well, so it will make them all change to a capital compared to the normal Seiss. Okay, so I know you see that when you have selected all these letters, you also have this option at the bottom which will say lock contents to power clip. Or you can extract the contents as well, instead of pressing on control and then clicking ones or twice on the inside image. Because that is how you extra contents as well. And here you condense the like power clip contents, and literally nothing happens right now. So you have selected again, and then you can select for anything else. So you can add it's a poor clip. This is the same as clicking on control and then the image insight So here when I press on I mean, I press on control again and I click outside off the image. It wouldn't go back to normal. And here you can then center the contents. Like, right now, you see, this one is centers, and you can then fit contents proportionately instead off having to scale it down yourself . You can feel the frame proportionally so that it will fit in in every letters, and you can also stretch contents to fill the frame. So these are all things that you can do so that you can create a design that you want together with the picture that you have on the back off the letter. 18. Text effects: So this lecture, I'm going to explain to you how to use the textile together with the battle effect. So I'm going to type here, welcome to CorelDraw, and I'm going to select the tax admitted bigger. So right now you see that when I select my tax here, I can make it both. And then when I used my picture here, I can then select the tax again, and when I goto before you will see that I'll be able to apply it. If I have not said in the taxi will see that the apply doesn't work, so you have to select the tax first and then apply the baffled to it. So right now, when I wants to a prime a battle to it, you will see that there are many different options over here, so you can select the shadow color over here depends on you what color you want a shadow to be. Because let's say, for example, if my tax was blue and I want a shadow, it will be better to have a darker blue shadow to it. Like right now it will look like it's three d version off the text efforts So this is how you can then change it. And when you change the intensity, you will see that it will then apply it. So right now, it will have much more difference than it is on a low intensity and in the direction you can also change it to the left side. So if you have it on a low number, it'll go mortar left. If you have it on a higher number, it will go more to the right side. Like so Okay. And the altitude will also changed how the taxed iss. So here you see, when I change the attitude to a higher number and apply it, you will see that the shadow will almost not appear at also barely see any difference. So here you will see that it is better to have altitude or low in the direction on high and intensity on high. So here you see that there are also effects that you can add to bid maps which you can also apply here you can still at three the effects tow it, aside from the normal effects here. So right now, if I change it to a bit map, he will see that I can use thes bigmouth fx inside off coral brought. So if I add a mosaic to it, you'll see this is how it will look like every time you want to create something in Corral , bro, you have to convert into a bit. But first, and then you can then turn its into any effects that you want here. That has to do with treaty FX orbit map effects. Okay, so I know if I, for example, go and select any picture here, you will see that you can find sources that has three pictures for commercial use. And then when I go here, you will see that I can then use my art strokes, for example, and then add it instantly to it because it is already a big net. So I don't have to cover it to a bit map before I at anything to an existing bit. Map 19. Text tool Photopaint: in this lecture, I want to explain to you how to use the past to with the tax code. So here you see that you have the option to select the Pasto by clicking on the rectangle toe, and then you change it by going to the arrow at the bottom right corner, and you can then select for path. So right now and I go to the top here, you'll see that I have the option to use the Basie or the free hands to. So I will use the basically, which will then allow me to create lots or notes, and then it will be able to kerf it when I stretch it out. So here I drag out the arrows and you'll see that it's one corporate more, and then I can create my text. So the only thing that you have to worry about is that the tax shall be really close toe the line because otherwise, if you don't see this curve when you go to the line, it means that the tax will not be applied to the line yet. So when you see a Kirk on the bottom off the arrow and means that it will apply its to the lying over here. So I know I have type in the word welcome. You will see that you have the option to change the flow off the words over here. So here in the top, you'll see that you can make more space. You can have last space, and you can also make the letters straight, or you can make the latter spread out. So here you'll see that you also have the option to change the height off it so you can make it more spread out in the height. And here you can also squeeze it through a last sight. This depends on where the position is off attack. So if the tax is a lot on the left already, it will then squeeze itself on the left. And if it was in the middle, it would then just changed the position a little bit. And here you see that when I send it to the right side and we're not squeeze because it's not really on the middle or on the right side. It's more on the left side, so if it wants more on the right, it will disagrees. itself on the right side instead, like here, it has squeeze itself through the left side. Okay, so right now you also have the option to distance from the past. And if you wanted to fly really high from the path, you cannot make the inches more at otherwise. If you want to be more in the middle of the path, you go lower. No, you can't even make it below the path and the air. You could also change the direction that it goes. So if you wanted to go mortar, right, you can definitely select us and make it higher in the number. And otherwise, if you go and click on the number on the option to make number lower, it will go more to the left side. So here we have the Ariel haunts here. You can also change its by mirror. It's practically so you will see that it will go the opposite way in the bottom. And here you see, you can also change it, the bold italic. And here you can change the tax properties for sure that appear on the right side over here , and you can then select the funds and the size as well. Just like what you have here in the top off the interface that's on top off the canvas. And you can also online it if you have more than one text. So this was show only if you have more than one tax so that you can align them on the same beginning or on the same ending, depending on Mitchell on you choose. Okay, so right now you will see that there is the option to use the shape as well in the past. So when I used to shape here, you will see that I have the ability to change the curves over here, and it will also change the latter. Over here, you'll see that the latter will go together with the path. So this is that what you can do with the Pasto when you are creating a text And if you want to use a free hand, you will see that you will have a lot more options in styling it so you don't have toe make only curves. You can draw whatever you want with the freestyle, and it will also apply it to the tax. If you create a tax that is closed toe the line. So this is how you work with the textile and passed old 20. Drawing tools: in this lecture, I want to show you how to use the drawing and the kerf tools. So here you have the free hands to the bottom, right corner. You will see that you have the option to draw free hands. So with a free hand toe, I can draw whatever I want. So let's say I want to draw a circle. It will then draw exactly how I move my hand. So here, for example, I can then create anything I want. And it will draw exactly what I have drawn using my tablets and here and the bottom right corner. I can click on it again and you will see that I would have the two point line. So with a two point line, I can then click anywhere and then I'll drag it out. And then I can click here again, and then I can drag this out. So every time I can click anywhere and if I drag it out, it will then for my line for me. And then I can close it afterwards. So that this then how you work with the two point line and then you have to be see a tool which is almost like the Penta lso. You create a buck over here and in the next thought, you can either make it sharp or you can make it curvy like so and then you have the pencil , which is almost the same. So you drag it out like this, but with the pencil, If you wanted to stop, you have to click twice for it to stop. Otherwise it will keep going like you have seen here. And then we also have the be spying toe which will that make curve felines? So doesn't matter how sharp you make it here. You will see that it will make it curvy instead for you instead off a sharp line. And if you're done, you can also double click and you see that it will stop or you can also press on. Answer. It will then stop the line for me. Okay, so after this, I'm going to use the holy line here, which is the tool which you can draw freely as well. But you can also create a sharp angle so it will keep going on last. You click twice or you press enter and you can draw whatever you want, so you can either draw curvy lines or you can go ahead with the straight lines and then you press enter and it wouldn't stop drawing. Or you can also double click so that it was throwing and then you have to three point her. So whenever you make a straight line over here by just dragging the lying out, you will see that when you let loose off the left side off your most, you will then be able toe drag out this curve and then when you click once again, it will then end it. So you just record lying out. Let's go. And here you have your curve, that this then how you work with the three Quinn cook and then you have the smart throwing . So the smart rowing will then make it draw whatever you want here and that it will close it up for you. So in case you draw a really weird shaped like so you will see that it will dad make it as needs as possible so that it will look professional. So it wasn't smooth out the lines and also make it look like a real figure and then you also have the life sketch. So with a life sketch here, you will see that whatever you draw, it will then throw it in real time for you. So here you see, it will then create all these connection. Even if you didn't connect them here, you will see it will then create a circle over here. Is that so? If I draw a rectangle like so, you will see that it will make this a little bits khorafi. And if I draw this cursed over here, you will see that it was gonna fix it even though if I have grown really that so These are then ways that you can draw If you want to draw something grounds, you see that you have to do it fast because otherwise it will then decide for you how the car Penis will go and how the object we're look like so sometimes it will close off for you and sometimes not, depending on how you have drawn independent on how fast you are growing in the real time. So these are than all the ways that you can work with the drawing tools and with the Curto 21. Dimension tool: So in this lecture, I want to explain to you how the parallel dimension to works. So you have different types off dimension tools here. If you click August backers are at the bottom left. You will see that you also have the horizontal or vertical dimension, which is also for measurement. And the angular dimension is also for management. But it will measure it in degrees for you. And you also have the segment I mentioned and a three point Kahlo. So three point collar is basically it'll that will create, like, two parts for you. And then you will see how it will then starts and how it will then finish. So here, you see, this is the finish, which is the arrow on This is the start. And then here you can then write anything that you want so that you know what part this is and we're the ending will be. This is then what you can do with these tools. But I'm going to explain more about the main to the parallel dimension. So here this one is the tool for measuring the units. So if, for example, I left click on the top off the dog and I drag it until the bottom. Here you will see that when I move a little bit more to the left side, it will then create this measurement for me in inches. So let's say you're not really known with inches. You prefer using other types off units. You can go to tools here and you can goto options. So if you go to the options, you will see that in the to box option the after dimension toe and in the Dimension toe. You can then change the style, the precision. So right now it answered to numbers. But you can also make it more numbers after the zero and in the units you can then change it to, for example, millimeters or centimeters or kilometers or meters. So you can also change into feet depending on which is the best known to you. And this is actually also the inches, but it is a short cut off the inches. So that is then how you can select different types off units to measure your image that you want to create or that you want to draw over again. So right now here. When I changed the measurement or the units here to, for example, points. You will see that when I half it selected. It will not change it yet. So I have to create, like, a new one here so that the units will apply. Okay, so right now I'm going to drag a little bit to the left side and on Dragon Mortar bottom. Okay, so right now you see, this is the points that I have so that this whole white or high it iss in the character. So let's say they are too close and you don't want to half them so close. You will see that you can also drag it out like soap in case there are too close and you don't want toe delete it yet You can always create a new layer here. So, like a main lier new must earlier, for example. And then in this layer, you can then caught this and then you go to the new layer here at the bottom, and then you paste it over here. So right now, you see then that it will be invisible because it is behind off the bit map. This is the bit map image which is to Doc over here. So right now you will be able to see it. So if you want to see it, you have to have it at the top off this layer here. Otherwise, it will be pretty much invisible for you to see what you are doing in a lira tous below off the main layer. So this is then how you use the dimension tools. The other dimension tools are pretty similar is just at the half difference types off measurements, so you will know how to use them when you select them. 22. Connector tool: So next time that we have here is the connector tool. You have several types of collector toe you'll see here you have the straight line connector, the right angle connector and the rodent rights and low connector, and you have anchor adding a swell. So let's say you create anything with your line here and you want it's to be connected together. You can then select this connected to here and you see that it can be connected together. So right now you see, there is this and go right here that is going on a little bit to the bottle and then it connects it. So that is how the connector to works. And you can also drag it here so that it will then become a little bit around it as well, because that is what the wrong. It's right angle connector pulled us on the right side, and then you have the right angle connector. So with this one, you can then make it bigger or smaller, and it depends on how much you want the corner to be and how big you want it to be. So basically they are all so make ah shape for so that you can then feel it in. If I use the 2.9 here and I select this like so I can feel it in with any color. So let's say I select the smart felt alike and then fill it in with any color I have so with us might feel too. You will see that in the field options here I can specify it to a specific color. In case you don't want this color. You can always pacify it to like those blue here, and you will see that every time it feels something in it was unfair it in that color. And if not, you can use the default or you can make it no feel. So basically nothing will be filled in. So I know. Let's say I close this. You will see that when I use a smart feel, too. And I use no feel. Nothing will happen if I use default. Nothing will happen either, so you have to then specify it and you have to fear in the exact color that you want. And I will also explain more about the colors in another video. So here you see that this is what's the connector thus, and in the next video, I'm going to talk about the drop shadow, too. 23. Drop shadow tool: So in this sector, I want to explain to you how to you. So drop shallow toe. So here, if I type anything here, let's say I type There were text here and I make it bigger, like so you will see that with the drop shell toe. I have several affects that I can add to that letter. So if I drop the shadow, you will see that it will start from the beginning off the tax here and it will show you how the shadow will be. So here, you see that you can drag it diagonally and you will see that here this small rectangle form can determine how your shadow will look like. So the closer it is to the white rectangle, the last it was show and the more it ISS at the black rectangular, the more it will show on, the harder the texture will be as well. So if you have in the middle, it will then be a little bit more inflexible, and then you will see that it will look more like a shadow and not like a forced secondary tax here. Okay, so right now I'm going to go for a with the contour. So here, if I said I thought you see that the contour is not possible with the text. So what I can do then? ISS I create like a round figure over here and let's say insight off this figure. I then used to call tour. So basically what it does is you have to drag it inside and then it will create an extra circle for you. And here you see, you can then drag it out again and you keep dragging it in, which is also possible. So it depends on you on how big or how small you want the controller to be. So if the offset is too large, it will be impossible for it to show. And if I drag this rectangle inside, you will see that it will have more off these lines in between. So then you can create these several FX using the contour here, and it wouldn't show you a different type off a circle, depending on what type off circle you actually want. Okay, so this is standard difference between having the contour in a large offset and in a short offset. Okay, and we're going to move to the next one. So here we have also the bland option. So if I have to blend, the more you will see that if I have one circle only it will not have any effect. So what you need to do then s then create another circle together with it, like so you also fill it in with any color. And then if you used to blending modes, you'll see then that you can then blend them together. And it was done show like it is a cylinder with, ah, lot off these lines at the outside. So this is then how you can use the blending modes, and then you also have to distort option. So let's say I under this and I used to distort option Right now you will see that you have the option to change the shape. So here it wouldn't change its to this shape. For me, it's just the opposite shape from what I had before. And you can create many shapes like this, especially if you want to create a logo. It is quite easy to changed her shape this week. So this is then how you can change your shape in many forms and here you can then also use the envelope. So with the envelope UC here you have many things that you can select and create with the envelope. But you can also use the effects here and use the envelope here as well, which is also very interesting because if you have an inter selected, you can then change it to whatever form you want here. And you can then create many local types because off it as well, like for example, if you have like a circle here and you have another one at the right side. You see that if you select both off them, you can actually intersect the objects. So with this bottom here, you can intersect it. It is the third bottom here in the options to change the objects. And when it intersects, you see that you can then delete the lines that are further away from the cross. Nice. And for example, if I select this and I copy and then paste it, I can then track the center point of the bottom. And if I drag her to the right side here, you will see that I can change it to this shape here. So here all this, you can then change their shape and basically you can then copy It s l and paste it again and you direct the mid points to the bottle. And I knew that I get to the other side like so So here you can then selected once again and then you drag it here to the Centrepoint off the floor. So here you create another type off, lower using the envelope effect. Okay, so right now we also have the extrude effect here. So when you select like a direct channel here, you want to extruded. You can select this morning and you'll see that it will create this back for you which will then create like this form which has the box looking like it is a three d box. Okay, so here you can then select it over here, drag it out to make a larger and then you have basically a tree. The effect you can then also select this part here. And it was depends on where it is. It will that make it larger. And if not, it will make it shorter. If you dry little laugh it will making shorter, and if you drag it to right side, it will make it larger. When you click on the center point and drag it to the left side and you see that you can then rotate the box to whichever form you want, so you can basically create any shape for it in case you click it here in the center off it , and you can then change it to whichever part that you want. 24. Extrude and Block shadow: So I'm going to create a direct anger again and then give it this blue color here because I wasn't done yet with the other video, I'm going to explain more about the extra. The thing is that you still have some options here at the top where you can, for example, rotated here depends on how you wanted to be Rotated that and you see s well that you also have the option here, Teoh, change the color. So in the 1st 1 it's impossible to change the color in the 2nd 1 You can only change it to one specific color. So if you want one color here, you change it here because it's only changes the color in the back off the rectangle. And this one is for the whole rectangular. But that's why you can not to change the color at all. And here you can then changed all to off them. So if you want, for example, this one to be a like blue and this want to be in like an orange, you see that it wouldn't makes them both together. The vast is when this one is like an purple color. You cannot mix these two together, but you will not be really using this option if you are creating in, for example, for brochures or for business cards. So it's not really important to know this part, and the use before is for creating a solid color. Here. You see that when you selected it will then make it half its own color they're sending out and its own shape as well. So here you can then also change the darkest off the color. So basically you can change intensity to, like 50 and then it will change the rest to a darker color, and this one, you change it to 50. Here. It will also change the intensity off the rest to a darker color. If you have both off them, it will be a lot lighter. And if you have three off them, it will be, ah, lot lighter asthma, more lights than you. Sure, unless you change it to like a low intensity here, it will then become darker. So the higher it is in the number, the more intensity there is, and the more light there will be. Okay, so right now we have this option here at the top. So let's say if I create Easter, go over here and I drove it. For example, the purple color. You will see that I can then used the option Teoh X Truth the object so I can use the option to extra the object then and here I can then also drag. It's to the right side, but you'll see that if I select this specific option here, I can then select, for example, this color he over here and this shape. It will then change it to the specific shape and color for me, and it will done copy the exact same position and the exact same extrusion that I used here and otherwise. If I don't want it, I can just click here, which will then clear the extrusion and this one as well. It will don't bring it to the original figure that I have created with my shape toe or with mine ellipse or rectangle, too. So this is then how you work with the extrude options in the drop shadow tool, and you also have to block shadow, which you can create by typing any tax here. So let's say I type officials here and here. You can then make it larger. You see that when I select the specific option here, I can then create like a really dark shadow over here. You see that you cannot even see that the difference, because attacks in front is also black. So if you're on the change, Dad, you can done change the front to a blue color and the back here you can also change it to a different color. So right now, if I select yellow, it will not affect the back at all. You have to select it from here. You see that you can then change it to, for example, a perp. Oh, or a darker blue. Here, for example, like this and the journey will see that it will then be different with the front. Right now you see that if I drag the text, it will go with the shadow. If you don't want that to happen, you can break block, shadow apart. Or you can also present control key. And you will see that if I select the shape too, and then the picture again, you see that I can then separate them from each other and Otherwise, you can also select them both. So by holding shift, you see like most off them and you can then combined them back or you can group the objects . So here, if you group the objects, they will become one again. You will see in the option manager that it will be group off to objects. So two layers will be combined together. Or what you can also do is if you onto it, you will see that they are in the two layers here and you can then combine it over here. So if you combine it, you will see, then that's the front will become white. So if you want to change this, it will only affect the back, and the front will have no color anymore. So here you changes to, for example, blue and here in the front, it would then stay white. So unless you break them again, you want to be able to change the front at all. So here, for example, you can then break the course apart like so, and you'll see that in the front. It will be the color again, so you can then change these bonds. So here if I changes to yellow, it was unchanged back to yellow. But the front here will then have the A without the whole dear. What happens is that it is on the back off the objects. So I need to drag it to the top so that you can see it in the front back, and I can then change it to another color that I want. So here, for example, I can change it to the specific color here. So I click once again here and you'll see it with and change it to that color back. So this is then several ways that you can work with the textile and block shadow together so that you can create nice officials for your projects. 25. Transparency tool: So this lecture I want to explain to you about the transparency toe. Let's say I make it blue. I create erecting over here. You see that it didn't color it in yet. So I have to click on the blue again here and you will see that it wouldn't insert this blue color for me. So right now that I have this, you will see that if I use a transparency toe there are several ways that I can use to transparency, too. You have two uniformed transparency, the phones on transparency, the factor pattern, transparency, the bit map pattern, transparency and the two color pattern. Transparency. So let's start first with the uniforms transparency. You see that with the uniformed transparency, it will make it totally invisible here. Unless you go here and then you creates like a an ad over here that's we'll show you how you want the transparency to be. So this little rectangle here will then create the transparency depending on where you want it to be. So here, if by selectors and records to the white rectangle, the transparency will start here and otherwise it will start here where it is at the black rectangle over here. So this has to do then with the phones and transparency. So it's well done. Onley affect half off the shape and with the uniforms transparency, it will affect the whole shape. So the whole shape is going then to be 50%. At least you can also select it Here. You see, this one is 50 so you can then make it less if you want a darker or you can make it more if you want it lighter in the color. So this is then how you can change the transparency off the color like so it will also show you over here. Whole transparency is, and you can off course select the specific time you want here as well. You can also make a phone transparency. Like I said before, it wouldn't get this out over here, and this one will then determine how the shape will be. So let's say here I can drag her like this. You see that it wouldn't make it horizontal. And then here it will make it a little bit diagonal on the vertical line. And here it will do the same. So it depends how you have this line and this is basically how you want the left side to be . So if you want this to be totally invisible, make it 100 or not. If you wanted to be half you make it around 50. And if you want to be solid like a real solid color, make it zero. And this side here I can also select the rectangle here, which is the black rectangle. I make it 50 and then here If I said I the black rectangle, you see that it is just seeing if this on 100 it is totally invisible. If I make it 50 you will see that it will be half invisible. So like a light blue color on. If I make it zero, it will then be solid just like the left sites. So this is then how you change. Yet the same s at the left. And then here you have the little rectangle here that will show you where he wants the transparency to start. If you wanted to start starting from here, you will see that it will then make a straight line here that will start become invisible directly. And if you have it here. You see that this one will start a little bit slower in the inflexibility and then the rest will be real solid, invisible. The reason is that it is not as close to the black correct Hang over here. So if you selected and drag it over here, it will also become a very clear line over here on where it starts. But it will still have this a little bit invisible here because it is between the white and the black rectangle. Okay, so then we also have a factor in pattern transparency. So to make this easier to understand, I'm going toe open the object properties, which is were you see all these colors that are inside off these lines. So here, you see, this one also has to transparency here. So with the factor transparency, you can then go in the field color and you see that you will also have the factor and transparency over here. So here you see, you can then select a factor transparency so you can search for the one that you want here , and then you can change the factor and pattern inside off it. So here in the bottom. You can also select it and then change the part that's you want. And you will see that the more you go to the bottom, the more it will move to the right because then it is in under filter. So here, if I go to the bottom here, it wouldn't change to another object here at the top. Like right now, it has changed to this option. And if I go more to the bottom, it's well, then change it to here, for example, or here. So here, you see, this is how you filter things. And otherwise, if you go to a bottle, you will then be able to change the Icahn's s well, because it will have these options here. Felt it all for you. Okay, so this is then for the factors pattern, transparency. And then you have the bit map pattern, transparency. So the biz BAP here is something different with the factor pattern. It is like to d patters, like when you create characters and the bit map pattern and something different, because bit map means that it is the same quality as a photograph, so it should look more realistic than to the patterns. Okay, so right now that I have shown you this part I am going to go further with the to holler pattern transparency which you can also select here. So if I sacked it here, you will see that it will also affected here. And you will see right now that I can sir, act between many off these styles here. But you see that it will be hard to see if you have it zooms in. So let's see. I select the picture instead and you will see here that you have to separate colors. If you want it to be a solid color, you can then change it to fill here and authorize you change it to only the outline. And otherwise you change it here so that they will be mixed together like so. And then here you can then change the motor as well. So that is the blending modes which you can also select their, by the way, with transparency, tune 26. Photococktail effect: I'm going to insert a picture here. There are naturally brass sticking pictures that you confined in on special, and you can use them for commercial use. But also for editorial use a pencil, you which one you think is better. Okay, so right now I'm going to explain to you what the cocktail effect does. So here in the FX menu, you see that we have the photo control option. So with the photocopier here, you will see that this panel will appear at the right side, off the workspace and in the photo cocktail, you see that you can find a specific program to insert the images inside off an existing image. So let's say I select my pictures here, and I select this folder. We just stays the pictures for photo cocktail because I specifically chose on these pictures so that I can create this effect in CorelDraw and I have added at least 58 images inside. If it it will say here as well, Haman images there are inside off the folder. I recommend having as much images as possible, especially if you want the column to be very high. Because the columns means that you wanted to have at least 20 off the columns and rows will than the at least 13. So in case you want this to be higher, make sure you have more images. Air here in the blending mold, you can leave it at 50. It is actually when you want the pictures to be mixing together. So the more you want a toe glands in, the more you driving to the right so that it will be higher in the person touch and then you can makes them better together. So it won't be obvious that there are many pictures over there planning together. But I worry Sit at 51 because I don't want it to be blinded. Too much power to later. So here in the ah load upper case, there is a minimum distance where you can alot the pictures to be duplicating. If you have this in a lower number, you don't have to have too many pictures because otherwise it won't have the option to repeat itself so much if you have it on a high distance. So that say, if the minimum distance is 20 then after 20 pictures, at least then you will have one picture repeating yourself, and you have to have a lot of pictures in that case. And if you insert on any pictures in CorelDraw, it might also slow the software down. Or it might also close it out because, of course, it takes a lot off space as well. So here in the old school, I recommend to use the bit map stack, and I recommend that I just to be stretched out quotes to match references. This is the best option, and it and I'll put resolution. I will recommend to always have it at 300. This is the best quality you can get. It's not too saturated, but it's also not too pixelated it. Okay, so right now we have the option to apply it. So I'm going to click on apply, and you will see that it will take a little bit for it to create these photos. So here you see, I have still the oak light off the mountain, and I have also the colors that will match it. But it has a lot more pictures in site off the original image, and you see that there are indeed some repeating pictures. This is why it is always better to have more images in case you want the pictures to not keep repeating. Okay, so this is then how you do the cocktail effect in CorelDraw. This is a really nice effect for especially for people who are into photograph. 27. Business card 1: So in this lecture, I want to show you how to create a business cart. By doing that, I am going to switch my peach size to a business Korpi size and you'll see here. It will indeed be the same size because it is 3.5 inches in the wits and two inches in the height, which is the normal patient size for a business card. So here, on going to create a rectangle on the same area where the business card hence so that we have for this as the area off the business card and I can export it later on. So let's say I want to create a noble first over here. I'm then going to select the Ellipse still here, and I'll duplicate this three times. So he admits, dedicated three times. And with this I'm not going to use my pick toe toe. Move it around. So here, let's move this to the bottom and this to the other side. Okay, so right now we don't know how to measure it because we don't have any guideline yet, so we can then go to right side to the guidelines tap, or we can go toe window and select doctors and guidelines. And there we can then at a horizontal line. So in the horizontal line, I wanted to be in the middle and then I want at a particle line to the middle s. Well, so right now we have this here. I can then direct the standard with mortar bottom. So here I am not going to select this and directors to the mother over here. And this one s Well, okay, like So we can then track this here in the middle like this. And right now make sure that this one is here in the middle, a small Okay, so we don't want it's toe. Be precise like this. You wanted to intersect with each other. So let's move this on it. The more over here and this one s well, just so it's crosses each other's path and the same here. So a move This are the more to the left, like so and this one has to have the same space to connect, and in case you find it difficult to move it to a specific place, you can always summit in ritual than be easier for you. to move it to a specific area. Okay, so right now we have this, I'm going to move from Senator. Bring more to the left. Okay. So I know we have this. We can then also create another circle inside off this so I'll duplicate this, and then I will make this smaller, like so. So are moved this a little bit more to the sensor like this. But I actually want this to be more to the right, because I want this to have very smaller etch on the right side, and I'm going to copy and pace it. And then I get to this side as well because I want it to be seen here. So I'll practice to this site right now so that it will be the same over here. Okay, so you want them to cross the lines at where the guideline is so that they stand how you do it. And here I'm going toe make this the same amount. Like so? So right now we have this. This is OK, and I'm going to do the same here at the bottom, so I'll sack this and then I'll duplicate it. I'm going to drag it here inside, and then I'll make it smaller, and I will also do the same s. But I did at the top. So I'm going to make the bottom part smaller than the upper part, like so and then the same here. So I'll go at it and duplicated. Okay, so right now that I'm here, I'm going to also direct us to the bottom like so. But we will want to make sure that they cross the same way over here. So here, this one is so cross past the same way as the one above so that it will match the one at the bottom. And this can be bigger as well. Yeah, this one is the same as the top one. It's also intersecting over there. Okay, so I know that we have this, I'm going to select them and I'm going to combine them. So first of all, I'll combine these two over here, so I'll select the option combined so that they can be moved together when I move them around. Like so. Because you see, when I moved one off these around it were only most one and not most off them so I have to combine them for them to be most together. And here I'll do the same salts acted and combine this one like so and here as well. So I'll selected So like the other one is small and combined them OK, so right now I have this. When I combine them, you will see that it will color the insight off their line. So I'm going to sack this blue here and they're smart. I'm going to select an orange color. This one I'm going back this green color, which is mint green. And here I'm going to select this the pink color. So right now we have least four colors together. We can then goto object properties and disable the outline. Change it to know And I know we have this, but you see that it doesn't have any changes when the colors intersect together. So if I go to transparency to and I switch in a normal so multiply you will see that here inside where it is going to across each other, it will multiply the color. I think this one is quite okay here you can then at your logo. You can then for example, call it creativity, and you select here the front. You can change it to Emma CBT, and you will move it here at the bottom, and then you can go to the text over here. So in the object properties, you can go to character and in the uniform fill. You can select the color eyedropper and then select Andy off this color here. So let's say I changed it to blue and you will see that it will half the same blue as that . OK, so right now I can select a area over here, and then I type in my name, for example. So let's say I type in Samantha, Jim and then at the bottle. I type in the address, for example, I'll type if ever knew, and then the post school I'll just invented. And you can also add, for example, the city. Here you can add, for example, New York and here at the bottom you can. Then that's an email. So, for example, cement at Career day for tea that's come, you can make this a little bit larger, but otherwise you can also drag this on. It have been more toe this site over here. Like so? So you make the guideline over here so that, you know, it will start at same place. Okay, so right now that we have this, we can also select all off these. And align is because you can align it here, in the front, in the middle or here in the back. It's also possible. So it depends on you how you want to align it. And I will recommend to online it in the front here, which is usually what people choose to align the text off your choice. And if you wanted to be smaller, you can always make it smaller here. But you will see that some things will disappear because in the box you can't make it too small. Otherwise, it will be a problem. Okay, so right now we have this, you will see that you can also change the type off the font. So let's say if you wanted to be embassy Bt as well. You can then and north this, by the way, so that it will fit there. And here you can change the spacing. So let's say here he can press on the elite on you see, the spacing will then be different. Okay, so here you can drag us. Took bottom in case he wants more spacing in between the letter, She can also go here in the A B with the arrow at the bottom. It will explain to you that that means that it is so spacing in between the letter. So the more you have here, you see that the more the letters will have spacing in between so that it will fits the business card. And if you want the business card to not be so dull, you can always select all off these circles over here and just duplicated again. And here in the back you can then create another duplicate off the logo in the business cart. But you make it transparent. So here, with the transparency tool, you can then use the uniform transparency and in the uniform transparency and then make it bigger here in the background. You select these logo here on, then you can go to transparency again, and you see here that you can make it more transparent if you make the number higher and the last player transparent it issue make the number lower. So if you want to hire, you go here and you see that it's making more transparent and here you can also add some other things to it. So instead of having the local here, you can always go here and that I get to the top like so. And this is then how you can create one type off a business card. If you don't want it to look too empty, you can always at other shapes here. So let's say, for example, you wants and impacts tool. You can then create one over here and you'll see that you can then drag it around. So here you can select it and make it bigger over here. Like so. And you change the color to, for example, orange or any other color like so and you can duplicate it, drag it over here and make it a little bit smaller like this and you duplicated again. You direct this over here, you can make this pink, and this one here, you can make this blue. Thanks. So Okay, so this is then how you can create a business card. And in the next video, I'm going to show you another example of how you can create other types off business court 28. Businesscard 2: So in this lecture I want to show you how to create a business card. And I want to do it on a day. Friends, we So here this business card. I want to show you how to create and object in the middle so that it will separates two parts off the business card. So to do that, I can use the be spring toe here, and then I can create, like, a curve over here. So this is then how I can create the core by just clicking on where I want the curve to aunt and stop. So like this, I can then click over here and then I'll click Or her here are small. Just make sure that's the points are very close to each other and that they are next to each other. Like so. Okay, so I know I have this. I can color it blue and I can change the all night long so I know that I have this I can their expand a little bit like so And like so. So right now we have this finger off here. So let's say I want to duplicate it. I can interact this another beer to the right sites like so And then I can use the transparency to and you see uniform transparency. Okay, so I know I have uniformed transparency. You see that I have this form over here that will look like it has a shadow. So I can then duplicate this again and I'll grab the shallow toe. The other site instant, like soap. Okay, so this is that how you can defy it's a business cart and at the left side, for example, if you want to show that you are someone who does art, you can create anything here that will look like an art. So let's say if I'm select this image here in picks a B, I copy, it's and then paste it over here. I can then select this and drag it out on the whole business car, or I can just make it to the left side. So let's say I drag it out here in the business card. I make it smaller over here. I can then, so I can then use the transparency to and change it to uniform transparency so that it will be there in the business cart. So if I wanted to be lighter and transparency, I dragon more to the right side. And we have then this color at the back, so it needs to be on the back. So if I right, click it, I need to order it to the back off the page so that it will go behind off this divides over here. So this is then one way that I can do it. And if I don't want any letter toe affected when I am typing, I can I click it and then lock the option? Okay, so I know if I lock it, nothing is going to disturb me when I am typing in sight. Copy desisting and, uh can He said over here right now I have this pieces. I can then direct this up on the corner like soul. Okay, So I can go to effects and I can goto lens and in the lens I can go the next. For example, gloom magnify, and I magnified a specific area. So let's say I only want to magnify the face us like this, especially here here, and I'll by a little bit. That's modify to three. And here I can then use the picture. And when I said Ackley, over here, I can then go toe object properties and change the pixels to none. If you don't find your object properties, you can always go to window Dockers and Object properties. And then I can right here. What's the address at? Sitra is so here I can create a box. Creating a box is good if you want the alignments to be together. So let's say here I type draw wing. That's calm. And here I type the name and the address, for example, off the office. So let's saying address is Long River 45 then the Sitko just infants something here, and I'll just type something here as well. So let's say some for sis go. And here at the bottom, I can then type the office hours as well, so I can then type open and then I can write 12 PM until five PM like this or 6 p.m. And in case you are in the US, this is the most common way to use the time writing. But if you are in Europe, you can also write it like this. So you're right, Lighting like 12. That's 00 And then five PM will be 17 00 XO. So that is then several ways that you can write it. But since this is in us, I'll just right PM over here. So here, if he wants to align them differently, you can always select the paragraph here, and then you allowing them accordingly. If you want them to be like in the middle, you can always do that. Like so. Okay, so right now you can create another type of business cards like this as well. So here you don't have to have any line at the outside off the rectangle. Because when you exported by going toe fall, you can export. It s an image. And when I exported s an image s business cards, too. Here I can then select the J pack because I want the background to be whites with PNG, the background will be invisible. So I'll exported right now. And by now, when I exported, you'll see that it more than San Act, the high quality J pack and and the Alliance qualities high at Sitra. So I will recommend all these Something's here. It this better. And when I opened its back, you will see here in the pictures. That's when I go to my safe pictures. My business card will look like this. So it will have it here in the Mrs card either. Because if I line here like if I do this so that I know where my campus iss. But I exported like this. You will see that when I go to my drawings again at on titles one, you will see like nearest this lying over here. When I make it bigger, you will see that there will be this night over here. And it's not a good idea to have the line like that on the actual your business card. Okay, so this is why I recommend to export it as a G pack and don't have this lying at me and either 29. Businesscard 3: So in this lecture, I want to show you how to create a business card with the symmetry tool in CorelDraw. So here you have page size, and I can then go to option meaning and I can then select the symmetry so I can create a new symmetry over here. And then we can select, for example, the artistic media tool. But after I draw on the left or on the right side, it wouldn't create a copy for me on the other side. So you only have to draw on one side off the line. If you want to create more off this nice it it's also possible. So, for example, if I have three Mirror Ryan's right now, everything that I draw here will be also copied in on these other parts. So here, for example, I want to start with s and then see like So Okay, so right now, if I create this s and a c, you'll see that I am actually using the brush splatter over here so you can also use all the types off brushes off course, and here in the object. When you are done, you can go toe up Germany and go to finish anything. Symmetry and you'll see that it will then create this logo for me so you can create something very simple the field or something more creative fast. Well, it depends on you What type off logo you want. Okay, so after I am done with it, I cannot select the color that I want. So let's say I want polder blue. You can change it to this color or even changes to this blue color. So since I mentioned that the color is very important, I am going to make this blue so that the logo doesn't look too faded out. When I d select this, I can then go to optimally back and go to cemetery, creating symmetry here. And I drag it to the right, and then here I can then create more off these lines over here, and I can then use the symmetry again. So let's say here I want to create a symbol instead and I created with this type off brush stroke and I create, for example, a both of fried like So Okay, so right now we have this and you see that I can then create like a few curves over here like so Okay, so after that, I can go to object on symmetry and then finish adding symmetry. So I now that I have finishing at thing. It's I cannot make it smaller over here and direct this to the rights like so on. Make this in other colors. So let's say I make a green. And then here I used to text tool and then I type, for example, the name off the company. So let's say the name off the company is as that creations. And then I go in here at the bottom. I type the mean and the address, for example, and I cannot make this smaller. Okay, so here I can then direct this to the left. And if you want, you can also, of course, enter your email address or at Sitra, more details. It's better so that they can contact us also. You can always inserts your full number as well. So right now if you think that this is an intimate too normal or too simple in the words funds, you can always change it to, For example, other types off worth funds. So here you can also choose their free hands and here you can then select it and you can change the color as well if you want. So this is also in the way that you can create a This is cart very simple, but also very creative using the cemetery tool. So here, if you want to add more to it, you can go back toe object and you used to create new symmetry options. And then you can select this. And here you write the letter s again like so and you'll see that it will then create this hardship for you. So here you can, then right the sea like so. And then you will see you have this object over here, and then you can finish editing the symmetry and they're small. You can also make a blue or make it this type of blue, and then here you can move it around so gets you can create a business card ultra fit. So this is down another way that you can create a business car. So let's say if your letter is black, I would recommend the rest to be lighter. And if not, it's better to have the letters at the dark first color and the rest just a lighter color so that they don't focus on the objects too much, but more on the name here. So if the name is, for example relighting color, make sure that you can create something behind it to make it stands out. So let's see here I can also create like a circle over here and in the circle. I make it for example, here, green, you see that it will be come actually pink, because when angle transparency, it'll in this on inferred. So, for example, if I make a difference, it will also change the color here in the name, and it will then make it stand out a little bit more as well. Oh, you can make the circle just behind off the name here on. You'll see that it will make the color pop out 30. Business card 4: So in this lecture, I want to create another type off logo. So to create this, I am going to select first my rectal to over here, and I'm going to create a really long rectangle over here. So I know that I have this. I am going to selected with the pick, too. And here in the object properties, you will see that I can go to the rectangle options. And here in the rector options, I'm going to select the first off them all because I want the corners to be a soft corner instead off a sharp corner. So first of all, you need to unlock this. So that's the corners. Don't change together. I want them to change separately. And first of all, I want to change them top left corner. So I'm going to make this anyhow, your number, Let's say 18 over here, 0 18 and then at the bottom. Right. I'm also going to make it 0 18 Okay, so I know we have this. I am going to color adds Let's say pink. So right now that we have this, I am going toe drag the midpoint here at the bottom. Okay? so I'll move it more here and then I am going to Goto added, and became water off it. So right now, if I duplicate and you see that it will appear on the same exact place, you can change this by going to your canvas. So here you just click anywhere on your campus or your workspace, and you will see here that you have the option to change the duplicate in the numbers so that it will change the distance. So let's say I change it to 0 10 inch, like so I pressed. Enter. You will see that when I select one and duplicate it, you will see it will then go a little bit more to the top and set off on the same area. So that is than how you can change the distance when you duplicate an object. Okay, so I know I need to have one more office, and here you will see that I can then change them from color. So I'm going to just to spring green, this one. I'm going to change this to Sky blue and this one I'm going changes to orange. Okay, so I know that we have this. I am going to select this month and change it to uniformed transparency. So I go to my transparency toe and selecting from transparency which will done change. It's in the transparency for me to 50% in the whole area and this one as well. On you change the uniforms, transparency, and this one s wrong. Okay, so I know we have four off them over here, and what I'm going to do right now is I'm going to select them, and I'm going to drag them on my everyone together. But first I need to delete the outline. So I'm going to go object properties and needed outline here. Or you can also go here at the top and changed the online to none. So there are two ways that you can do that. You need to go to a top or ego the object properties and change the Arlington on. Okay, so right now we have fought off them. I'm going to drag this one over here at the top, and I'm going to select it again and drag a little bit to the site like that so that I can rotate it so I'll do the same here, and I'll rotate this more to the top and the same here. I rotated more to the top. So since the mid point is at the left side there you will see that it will then saga rotating from that area instead of from the middle. If I had my midpoint at the middle here, you will see that it will then rotated from the middle here. And you don't want that in this case because it will then creates another type off logo for me. So I know that I have this. I'm going to duplicate this again. And then this time I'm going to drag it through the other side over here at the left side, and I'm going to mirror it horizontally, and then you see that we have to off thes. So I said, like everything together, and then I'll make it smaller, like so, um, here, just make this model like this, and I'm going to use my letter here to type a letter. I'm going to use the textile, and I'm going to choose the letter ass over here, and I'm going to make it blue colored. So with this and also going to you. So you from transparency. But I want the ass to be ignored. Uh, type off letter points. I'm going to teach it to called man. Oh, King. So I know I have this like so And then I'm going to create another one here at the bottom called Creations. And here I'm going to change us to Blue as well. And I'm going genius to uniform transparency and also the letter type Kaufman. So here, on second pic tal and our will. Okay, so I know we have this here. I'm going to make the smaller like so. Okay, so I know we have this. You'll see that this is then how you can create in other type off logo. If you want to create a business car, you can then breakfast to the top left, like so. And if not, you can just keep it like a logo. And here you have your logo, then. So if you want to create business car, you can also insert the details over here, which are the name and the pressed off. Your little so name is important. Email is important. Your telephone is importance and your website is also really important, but especially the address on where your office is if you have the office and if not you just give them the email, telephone number and website. The most important thing is the time for number because that kiss were people will reach you and they will be more trusting. To call a colorful number is instead of sending an email or just sending something through the website. Okay, so right now it all changes as well to blue so that it will match this part over here and otherwise you can also change it to the in the front transparency. You see that this one doesn't go, so you change it to bid nap cover to bed map, click. OK. And then you can change this to and uniform transparency as well. And I know you have it. Okay, so this is then how you can create a logo or business cards in CorelDraw. Okay, so here this one can also be a a little bit more to a bottom. So let's say here I select this for I pressed on control and then I select these so that it's built. Affect the layers that are in between them. Okay? And I will move it more to the bottom because obviously they're not the same area or position. So let's see. Okay, so let me. It's a guideline over here and at long hand. So at breakfast to the bottom. Oh, okay. President contro. And then I impress on these. So here, I'll direct this a little bit more toe top. Next. So Okay, this is on a better on. I condemn, though. Deletes the guideline and changing Maxim 100 or actually two on the pro sense. So here we have our logo that thank you for watching. 31. Animated Gif: So in this lecture I want to show you how to create an any mated gift from scratch using corral photo paint. So you have corralled draw and coral photo pains, and here I'm goingto be using some images from the Internet. So in case you want these images, you go to this website here which is called the game or to the dot com. And when you are here, you will see that you have the option to select the freebies. And when you select any off these freebies here, you will see that you will get PNG images which will have them moving in several ways. So if you want to download it, you just click here on free download. But you have to at least half win. Roar wins it. I recommend using wind roar. So, to Donald Munro, you go here winrow dot com and then you don't know it for free. You don't have to buy it. You can use it for free as well. I have also used it for free. So when you don't know its winrow, you can then also I don't know these files here and for example, if I don't know this. I can show you how it will look like. So when I am done downloading those army file step here, I can open its where it has. Don't notice it. And I can right click on it and extracts to zombie falls. Okay, so right now, when I extracted to Zombie falls, you will see that I have something falls over here. And then I have PNG and I have female or meal here as well. So it depends on us Well, where you wanted to be, Donald it I have a Donald. It always on the documents. But you can also move its two pictures. If I go to documents, I can then direct the summit falls here to pictures and the same s another one that I also have. This is also one that is for pictures. So here I'll go to pictures here. So this one is also one that I got from the website. And you also have been the zombie falls. So here, if I press on PNG, I will then see all these images over here. The only difference is that P and G has an invisible background and the Jay Peak has usually a white background. PNG s better in the quality as small when you maximize the picture and look at the pixels. So here you will see that you can then insert all these images inside off coral photo paint . So when I go to Qatar, photo pain, you will see here I have my movie panel open. So if I goto window, I can goto doctors and then I will go to movie here at the bottom. I can also press control f 11 and what I do is I go to answer from foul and here you see that I have the free night here, which is another one that I got from the same website. But you can also go to some B files here. I recommend insulin when my one because when you answer all off them, it will then stay the same in the whole animated GIF here. So I know if I inside the 1st 1 you will see that it will ask you if you wanted before or after this frame one. It always has to be at least one frame there for you to be able to work with it because that is a requirement. So here I'll will start after it. So I click. OK, and then here, this one the 1st 1 I can just delete. There always has to be at least one off these diagrams minimum. Otherwise you cannot delete it. So I click this again and then I inserts of those seconds image and then I choose after frame one. So I know you can go to answer from fall again. And then it will ask you after or before frame to and I will keep doing after the frame that already exists. And usually it already jumps automatically toe that frame. So I'm then going toe. Keep clicking. OK, so here I have the number six. Okay, so here, this one is done. Okay. So right now when I play it, you will see then that it will then walk and then fall down on the ground. Like so. Okay, so this is one type of animation that you can do by using coral photo pain. You can then create your own gift from scratch. If you want to look for other type off pictures, you can always go to Google as well. And then you can type in like free PNG images, or you can even go for something that needs some payments. Because sometimes things can also be really cheap, and then you can also use them as an example. But the thing is that not many off them has like an action created for the same character. So you need to be careful with that. Before I am done with this video, I want to also show you how to export it as a gift. So here, if I go back too far and then I go to export, you will see that I can then select a GIF animation here. And when I said I give animation, I cannot export it like that and I can click. Yes, because that's name already exists. I can override it. And here you can then select all the loop options. I will recommend to look it forever because this means that it will keep repeating it after it is done with the last frame here which is framed 19 and then here you have the automatic option. Otherwise you can change this. But the automatic option is okay. I rather use the non in transparency so that it doesn't change anything for me. And here in the palate, I will use global and here how to dispose. I will select. Just do nothing because I don't want it's to replace anything and the frame relay our refit at 20. So you can always prevue with before you export this And here you can Then just click ok, or you kind of part all before you pick. OK, so right now if I go to my pictures here, I shall be able to happen. Animated GIF. So here you see that there's many ways that I can open it, so if I double click on it, you will see that it will open like this. But there are also other ways that you can open it with your document over here. You can then select it and drag it over here in the browser and you will see that it will then show you in a separate window 32. Conclusion Skillshare CD: when you're done feeling the videos, don't forget that you can goto projects and resource is. And here you can find all the resources that I have used for creating my videos in case you want to search for it. Maps to work with or to add it. In Colorado, you can always have to on splash pixels or picks a B. Also, if you want to know more about how to edit pictures or how to draw illustrations like characters, you can join mine other classes, which you will find on my profile. See you soon.
