About This Class

Welcome to CorelDraw Quick Start where you will learn to use CorelDraw by creating actual projects. No long periods of going through tools and menus item by item. In this course, we’ll jump right in and start creating and learning. By the end of this course you will be comfortable using CorelDraw. You will have created different styles of logos, used a logo to create a business card and created a mock-up of a logo in use.

I designed this course for people like me who don’t learn well when they are overloaded with information but find it easy to learn when they are doing and having fun.

The ideal student for this course is anyone who wants to get started with CorelDraw.

I use CorelDraw X8 in this course but most everything can be accomplished with previous versions too.

Resources for the lessons in this course can be found here.

I am a complete noob to the any graphics programs. I tried Youtube and nothing was explained. Usually, you watched someone speed design something and it was great to watch. The problem I found was I never knew a single thing they did. I couldn't follow along. With Dan's tutorials, I can not only follow along but he explains everything so well that it's easy to try it as he does it and go back to fix where I messed up. I have yet to be stuck when I just watch and do what he does. I learned and related so much of what he has done to my own logos that I now understand things I never would have guessed without his tutorials. I am learning from him so I don't have to spend money on my logo designs for my small business. Thank you Dan for your great patience and well thought out videos.
