About This Class

Many of us have learned that using images, video, and multimedia in our presentations and classes, will create a better experience for the audience.

There are  so many great resources online for creative assets. How can we be sure that we are using them correctly and not violating copyright?  When I researched this, I was surprised by how much misinformation has been published on this topic. There are many myths that have created potential copyright violations in social media, presentation,s and online classes. Copyright violations have serious consequences.

But, no worries!  I have saved you time and did the homework for you.

This class will show teachers and presenters how to use creative assets with less worry about accidentally violating copyright.

In this class you will learn:

     - the definitions of commonly confused copyright terms

     - common copyright myths and the correct information

     - how to spice up your presentations and classes with images, videos and music

This course will teach you valuable information that you can use at work, in school, and online.

Make the complex, simple.

I enjoy learning, teaching, and challenging paradigms. With an analytical job by day, I make time to pursue creative endeavors at night. I believe that when we can simplify complex processes in creative ways, we constantly improve and help others to grow. Skillshare provides an opportunity to share some of the lessons that I have learned.
