So if you want to attract your new customers, build relationship, get noticed and keeps your customer coming back for more and don't know yet how to do it efficiently. Or if you don't want to waste your time and efforts anymore because off a lack off organization in your content creation, then this five big challenge is for you. 2. Introduction: you wondering what you're doing wrong? You're putting out excellent content, but it all sinks. You feel frustrated and exhausted. Your great effort isn't reaching any goal, and the feeling off Baylor is setting it. It can get to the point of Baron out where you don't even want to sink about producing content in order. Full content, marketing toe work. You need to take a systematic approach and get organized. It's not enough to simply send material out on the Internet and expect results. Here is the program five days to getting organized with your content so you can start seeing the results you want. 3. How to Decide What You Want to Be Known For: your audience will come to know you for the topics and areas your content covers. You'll become the go to experts when they need help and constant presence on their social media feats. This is why you need to sink carefully about what image you're putting out and what a reputation you're establishing. The first place to start when getting organized is to decide what precisely you would like to be known for. Use a couple of topics areas that you will write about consistently. These will become synonymous with your brand and help you build a relationship with the right people. Brainstorm List off all the areas you might want to be known for. Consider. For example, since you have written about in the past year topics also related to your business or the company you are working in just right now, or the areas that reflects your natural strengths and expertise. Also, consider question. You often answer for your customers for you origins members or your friends and also your family. I personally help once a week since nearly two years, the French friend of mine called me with his company building. I also helped a lot of friends with their merit life issues. When I was living in an entrance of more than five days five years ago, um, you can also consider subjects you are passionate about and you can talk about all day. For example, ask yourself when you are at the phone with your brother, sister or your your best friends. What topic are you speaking about? When I am with my brother at the phone, he lives in Thailand. Ends? Yeah, I live in Peru and but we don't speak about our travels around the words we always speak about business. We love this topic. We could speak night and day way often keep at the phone during more than a three or four hours. If you have something approaching in your life, maybe you should focus on this particular topic and leverage this on. And if you're still not sure, ask to your computer. Yeah, check out all the websites that you have saved in your favorite. Yeah. Ah, I used chrome and I have a fragrant listed is completely tremendous and note down, you know, down the topics that they are related to older all the website you have put in in your in your favorite. That's what I did. And it helped me a lot to understand what what I had to do to be a happy creator. Now let's wrap it up. Yeah, So first, make a list off all the topics you have written about in the past, or you like writing about and then you have to narrow. You list down to zoos that are most interesting to you or that best reflects your natural strengths and expertise or that are more related to your products or services. Or you want to be known for that topic. So you never it down. And, yeah, that was it. That was your exercise. Yet you have to do just right now. In the next lecture, let's talk about organization. 4. How to Organize Your Existing Content: You don't have to start from zero and create all new content. You can take advantage off the content you already have on your computer by a dating it, reworking it and repurpose ing it. This saves you time and elaborates the work that you have already don't. In addition, some old content you have could still be very valuable for your audience. So what's the work today? Today? Start by organizing your existing material into categories, since they will, but mostly filed the files on your computer trade folders by category and drop the files into these Poehler's. You can then use these folders toe organize future material you develop as well. Yeah, for example, if you write about language learning, you might organize your material by language. Or it may. It may make more sense to separate content into, for example, language learning tools, tips for studying methods from mastering a language, grab our pronunciation books and so on. Other example. If you write about cleaning and the end de cluttering, you might separate content by areas off the house. Or you could have a folder for tips, one for tools and the last one for products reviews Yeah. Here I give you just examples, but you have to make it fit for your area and your topic important. Try not to create too many sub categories for each category. Things can get messy, and the key toe organizing is to keep things simple and effective. If it is organized on your computer, it also will be perceived by your brain as something organized and also perceived by your prospects or your kinds as something organist. I would say that three categories with three sub categories is a good place toe start. You can increase our decrees, of course, as an accessory. Make sure you also take inventory off everything you have online, like videos, block post or bios. Yeah, your biographer, you're prone. Proper biography. As you look at this content, consider always whether you should leave it or not there, maybe materials or material that doesn't reflect the topic areas you identified the both or bios that are not up to date anymore. On Lincoln, for example, other example. You want to establish a reputation as an expert in family finance? Let's say, but you have old articles and videos when when someone typed your name you have some articles and videos off golf tips still here floating around the Web. If someone sees this golf tips, that may be very good now, but it might create a disconnect in their mind and hurt your branding. The Gulf material could also be a distraction kind of destruction, since you're no longer focusing your efforts there. Once you have everything in its appropriate folder, you will not only be better organized but also have the clear pictures off the material you already have. Now let's wrap it up. First. Organized the content on your computer into a few categories. Key categories, I could say by a folder. Yeah, then create set categories for each major category. Then you have to look for any content you have on the Web and add this to your folders and the last part. You have to remove any Web content that might distract or interfere with your branding. Keep with me now we just finished. Day two. We see us tomorrow with the next lectures where we will can your content goes 5. How to Define your content goals - What type of content?: Today, you will define your content. Goats determine and specifically what you expect your content marketing to achieve for your business here. Some examples. Once you have clarified the specific goal or goals for your efforts, you can decide which type of content will work best to achieve these goals. For example, if your goal is lead generation, you want to bring people into yourselves fennel by building a name a list. In this case, you can use, for example, a free report or all the lead magnet to get people to sign up to your list. If you're building rent awareness, a good strategy would be to produce short, helpful videos that you can post to YouTube and share on social media. For example, if you want to build relationship with your prospects, the best would be, for example, to create and grow a Facebook group or YouTube channel and make some life events. Every week. I have a friend called Terry, an English teacher. He's doing this on Facebook, helping students to improve their English. He uses the question off one student to help hundreds off other students during some Facebook life sessions. If your goal is to make some saves right the first time you can use, for example, Shah P fight where everything is made to help us help. And if you choose to grow a membership website investigate on how to create and market a webinar is act. Radinsky is a marketing teacher that I follow on medium hey uses ever weapon out and Facebook cats. But to me, harmlessly, I would prefer to delegate such type off works because advertising on Facebook is quite time consuming if you want to do it properly. 6. How to Be Specific - Prioritize: make your goals as specific as possible. If you're trying to generate leads, decide how many and in what time frame for saves, get a precise figure. Yeah, if it's brand awareness, choose some metric as an indicator, like new followers on social media or mentions online and always set a timeframe for each goal. Next, take your content and prioritize according to what will best help you reach your specified go for the top priority content what is often known as, ah Keystone content. Choose the pieces that are highest in quality or the most effective. These should show you at your best. Yeah, single fees, as the peace issue would like people to see first to make the right impression. And don't panic if you don't really know how to shoes and use at these Kistane content will learn more about this in the first electric. Once you've identified these key pieces, decide where your other work will fit into your overall marketing scheme. For example, if you've chosen something as elite magnet to get people into your email list, you can then choose block post Tau Ri purples into image messages. Two. Sent to your subscribers before going to the next step, which explains how to develop a content management and creation strategy. I want to explain a little bit more on the stop on the topic off Keystone content. Let's check this out in the next lectures. 7. How to Choose and Use Keystone Content: your greatest hits or your keystone continent are pieces you won't like to appear at the top off the search engines. When someone enters your truth and keywords, sink off this as your start here material on your webpage on the webpage, for example. This content should be evergreen, meaning it won't become dated overtime. Choose pieces that will still be relevant next year. Your keystone material should also be general because you are trying to cast your net wide . But it should tackle a particular problem that your audience is facing and give them actionable steps that will help to solve this particle out problem. If someone reads your work and sees results, this is very powerful for getting them to check what else you have to offer. Of course, it helps if this material is unique, tried to find something that takes somewhat unique angle or offers something no one else does. If the work is already published, choose something that received a lot off engagement and, most importantly, the continents you use. Miss reflects what you most want to be known for. Going forward, define your core areas off expertise and focus on sees when preparing content then, and only then develop the content strategy around them. How you will use this material depends on your business goal, but some example would be for, for example, yup, posting on all the sites with back clings to bring new people to your site. As mentioned before, this Keystone content could also be the front piece toe your block or website. Those that is, that it is the first thing people see when they arrived there. It can then lead toe similar or more specific content. It could also become a free offer, like a free report to propose people to sign up for your list or follow you on. Ah, social media. Remember that this content could also not be text based. Yeah, we always think about tech space, but it could be also a video, a podcast, a teach it resource guide. Or it calls also be a webinar, something more complicated. But it it could also be a Ravina. Let's wrap it up. First, you have to clarify your content goals for the next 90 days. Then you have to choose the five pieces of content that show you at your breasts and do the most to help achieve your goals. Third point, you have to decide where your other content will fit into your overall strategy for achieving your goals. In the next lecture, we will begin date for with some very exciting sinks, we will build our strategy. 8. How to Develop a Content Management and Creation Strategy: Now that you have identified your best work today, we will put a solid system in place for creating and organizing everything. Start by creating a content management calendar. You will use this tool for publishing and creating your material. I use Google calendar both on my phone and on my computer. It is far better than the calendar I have on default on my phone and computer. Everything is instantly updated on older devices I have. I also used a lot off paper notebook. Sorry, it may seem a bit old fashioned that I am nearly 40 years old and old habits die heart. I also used trailer dot com, which is really great in terms off design. When you finish a task, you can just drag and drop it into a new file and then store it. There are two versions. One is free, the other is paying, and I use the free one. It's completely great for me. Next step is deciding with what frequency you will publish. This could be something like a two block post per week, six weeks, but they or one video per week. The exact frequency doesn't matter the most important here is being consistent really important. If you start publishing one post per week, your audience will come to expect it the next time. Yeah, but on the other hand, as you start posting content, you may discover that your audience wants more or, on the contrary, that publishing less is better matching your goals. And you can do so at the beginning and change your mind. Yeah, but you must quickly find your cruising speed posting Doumit Oh can also exhaust your audience, and they might not stop paying attention to little. And they may forget about you. Try to find a sweet spot by watching your audience response and by watching how much work you can do in one week or in one day, Because what you don't have to forget is that you should also keep in mind your capacity. You have to commit strictly to use Carol, but before this, you have to choose wisely the amount of work present in your schedule. Otherwise you will burn out and the quality off your work will suffer. This had how much you can produce each week and state wisdom. Once you have your publishing, Kalinda decided, you can figure out where and how often you create content. For example, if you decide to publish every Friday, this means you need to finish each piece about by Thursday. You can then work you weight backwards and decide when you need to get started. 9. Two options: Now let's check out how to create a content. You have two options for creating content. You can create the content in a single sitting bell like bulk book working. Oh, you can get into a flow off regular production every day at 2 p.m. For example. Yeah, For the first option, you might set aside one afternoon each week to create the bulk off that weeks material the advantage. And I really loved that one better than the other. The and potential is that you will get it all down at once and not find yourself struggling to meet deadlines. You are sure you will finish it? I have read a study that shows that when you are working in an office and someone disturbs you just during one second asking you ah, question, for example, it may take up to 20 minutes so as to get as concentrated as you were before the guy disturbed you. So I personally prefer this first option off the single sittings and Burke work for every aspect of my business life. If you choose the second option, you will prevent a burnout. You will prevent burnouts. That's the good thing. Yeah, by checking in every day and working on once you have to work. Yeah, but you have to make sure you do it with the devotion, or you won't get the job down in the next lecture. Let's check out how to save some time in our journey to the sexists. You can really save some time by repurposing and updating your old content. Put this into your calendar as well. Often dig apps or some old articles or block post and see what you can do with them here. Some example. Off repurposing, for example. Yes, updating with new information or removing information that is no longer relevant, taking bits and extending them into four pieces. For example, you you have an article with 10 tips on getting their perfect shave, and you can turn each off thes into one. Or on the contrary, you can take four pieces and make a smaller piece. If you have, for example, 10 articles on sinks to do in London, you can turn them into one article that offers 10 ID's. You can also Bendel content together into a bigger piece. You can take a series, for example, off old block post and put them into a course or into a report 10. How to Change formats: You can also change formats. You can take an article and select it's relevant points to make tweets or Facebook posts, or you turn the blood post into a script off a video off a podcast. Also, you can make a Power Point presentation version off. Of course, you have offered and hold, for example, a webinar. One more thing. Always focus on quality over quantity. Birds don't forget. Quantity has its importance. Also, because if you make a lot of block articles for for examples, you will then have a lot of data, and you will be able to define what your prospect are more interested in. Also, stay focused on your areas, off expertise. You identify it, what you want to be known for, and you organized your folders accordingly. Now keep this in mind as you produce new content to engage your audience. So let's wrap it up. First, you have to create a career ender for publishing and creation, and then you have to develop a strategy for repurposing. Existing content we see is tomorrow in the day five, where we will learn how to be more efficient by using tracking tubes 11. How to Track Your Content Marketing: How do you know whether you contents Marketing efforts are paying off. The only way to know is to track it with metrics. Once you put your marketing strategy in place, you need to also build a habit off regularly checking in the metrics to see how you're doing. The only way to know whether you're reaching your business goals is to use objective that it is not enough, really. Not enough to simply trust your interest in you might have an excellent piece of content that you sink is the best work that once you posted, it falls completely flat with your audience. On the other hand, a piece you posted may outer perform all others. You data can tell you that this is the biggest hit with your audience. The biggest hit with your origins. Okay, it's getting people to do what you want. Yeah, what do you want? Really? Do you want them to sign into went into buy to download your free e book? Etcetera. Yeah, you can then study this piece and figure out why it works so well. Sometimes it's just the title. Some name, the presentation. It is sometimes really weird. I see it really every day. The details. Sometimes there's on the details that make make it all 12. How to build an Effective Tracking Strategy: there are many metrics of viable, but not all of them will help you measure your efforts today. Let's check out the steps for creating an effective strategy. So the first step you have to identify a specific business goal. Second step. You have to choose a metric that would tell you whether all not you're making progress toward that gold. Like, for example, Google acts, Sir Point. You have to find a tracking tool and implement and the fourth tool. You have obviously to go regularly to review this metric and analyze here, for example, one of my campaigns on Google ads when I was advertising my website for French learning, you can see here the total Blix, the numbers off impressions. It means how often the ad was shown on Google, the average cost per click and the total cost off this campaign. These are just a few examples off the hundreds and hundreds off statistics you can have on Google alerts that the possibilities off improving your work through this kind of data is really impressive. It's infinite. You decide your goal is to build an email list off engaged subscribers, so the metrics you need to know, if the numbers off sign up, you email service provider can give you this metric, you can then create lead magnet and check your analytics each Friday, for example, to see how many new subscribers you have here. My statistics on May chimp regarding one male evil campaign that I did last year. You can see the open rate that indicates you if you have found a good subject for you, be made the subject parts. The first part that that you see when you before opening the email with the subject. Yeah, the click rates shows if you have been able to make your prospect or you follower, whatever Click on the link present in your email or not, this data will help you take the good decision. 13. What Metrics to Check: which metrics to check depends on your business goals. But here is some key data that marketers often truck first example website visitors. This metrics shows how many people are visiting the pages off your website. It shows whether or not your s e o search engine optimization your S E O. Efforts are working to build traffic. If you have a website with, for example, work, press not, or you can use the free or paid version off Yost. Yeah, I used it. I used the privation and it really helped me a lot when I wrote block posts on language learning. It will help you a lot to create S e o friendly articles concerning the social shares If you go is to extend your reach on social media. This data shows how people are engaging. It would track whether there are liking, commenting or sharing your content. You can also track follower growth metrics. Contract How many people join your list? For example, start following on your social media or start reading your block or subscribe to your YouTube channel off that are follower growth. This data shows how you're growing your audience. Regarding YouTube's, there is an incredible free to called vid. Thank you that I use. And that tells me so much information about my duty video my channel. And it also helps me a lot to track my competitors and also automate I can automate a lot off repeating tasks. When I put a video on night, you should definitely give it a try. If you run a YouTube channel, you can also track what people do on your site that is called visitor behavior. You will track which paces visitor spend the most time on, and it will tell you what content is keeping them there. Quite important, you have to know the topics that are that are most trending just right now. You have also the track, the tracking off the returning visitors. This metrics tells you how many people are coming back to your site, and if this metric is growing months after months, it means you are on the right way. Definitely, and you have also something very important that click through rates. It shows how many people are clicking the links on your side. This shows how effective your call to action. Is it really if you have the best website ever. That your call to action isn't clear, isn't clearly mentioned on your website. Isn't with is not with a different color. It won't have a good city, are click through rate, and what you want is the people to click. So it's definitely something very important. Choose a few key metrics that align with your business goals and you'll be ableto better. Understand and refine your content to make it work for more more effectively for you. By the way, I use Hodja. It's a behavior analytic tool, and it really stands out. It helped me a lot to know which part off my landing page had to be improved. Check out the image. Now you're ready to use all of your existing content efficiently. You know how to create more content, how to engage your audience and how to achieve your professional goals. OK, so let's take out the bonus part where you will learn how to write effective safe fennel 14. Build The entrance of Your Sales Funnel: to make your content marketing as effective as you can sink off the continent you create as a stream that leads your origins. From the initial discovery phrase to actually buying every piece of content needs toe point somewhere to build a Cohasset flow off material, take the content you already have and organize it. Then you can choose which piece will go where in your saves, farmer. At the opening off your saves family, you should offer free shareable content. The idea is to cast your net as wide as possible. If you are agents find it finds it helpful. They will follow the link to find out more. Nothing should be promotional here. Yeah, you're not making promotion off any product off anything? Yeah, just focus on solving problems. Help people. This is where you should put your kistane content also. Yeah, that shows you at your best and helps to establish you as an expert in your field. Yeah, truth material that makes a great first impression. Remember, you can only once make a good first impression, since the goal here is to increase awareness off the value u offer. Use open public marketing channels, but your pieces online where your target audience already hangs out. For example, don't make an English language learning Twitter account when 90% off the English teacher are present is sensibly on their YouTube channel. And to make sure everything is fully optimized for search engines. Remember the s equal. We already talked about it earlier. And if you don't have a good issue, it's better not to put anything online because the people are going are not going to find you. You can have the best website ever. If you don't optimize, did the keywords on it? It won't work. This material can include block posts, videos, webinars and free information products. It will lead to gated content. Yeah, where interested visitors get the change to sign up for more exclusive content by giving their email address. Yeah, this is the start off your very important e mail subscriber list. You should begin that image subscriber list as soon as possible. 15. Qualify Your Leads: what you should do next is designed content that will build relationship and qualify the leads that have entered York suppressant lists. Yeah, this is the high value content that focuses on key problems that your audience is facing. The topics here are more specific, and it can include some promotional content, but not only yeah, information and a bit of promotion. This content should also engage people try to mix in some material that is interactive, like surveys, games or block. Post that asked the question. It has been proved that if you interact with with someone on the Internet, it creates a link between you and that person. So it's really, really important to try to make it interactive.
