About This Class

This is the 20th chapter of The Complete iMovie course, especially built with beginners and advanced users in mind.  This whole class was built using iMovie.  This course was actually created INSIDE this course!

<- Chapter 19
-> Chapter 21

In Chapter 20 we'll learn how to share your work with the rest of the world.  We'll see how you can save your movie as a file which you can then do with it whatever you want and how you can save 1 frame of your movie as an image file.  Then I'll show you how to share your movies online to sites as YouTube, Vimeo, and Facebook.  I'll explain what the iMovie Theater is and show you how to access your movies in iMovie on your Mac, on your iPhone and in the special iMovie Theater app on the AppleTV.  Finally, I'll show you what your options are if you don't want to share a full movie.

You probably got iMovie for free, but do you know everything there is to know about it?

I'll show you all the features of iMovie - no prior knowledge required - but I'll also give you my secrets with many pro tips to overcome many limitations in iMovie and perform some nifty tricks.

So if you want to impress everyone with your amazing movies, enroll in this class!

Rafi Saar

Owner Syncopa Productions and Software Engineer

Hi, I'm Rafi.  Originally from Belgium.  I have an MS degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
I'm the owner of Syncopa Productions (click for web site).
I have several YouTube channels, one of which is about Final Cut Pro X tips.
Also check out my Company Facebook Page.

While I've been a software engineer and a manager at hi-tech firms for many years, I was also always busy doing music, video, and photography.

I'm very passionate about everything creative that I do, and that certainly includes audio and video work.

Over time I used all versions of iMovie and at some point I made the jump to Final Cut Pro X, I opened a company called Syncopa Productions, I started producing professional movies for clients and I opened some YouTube channels.

With iMovie, I was often frustrated because of iMovie's limitations.  But my creative mind came up with tricks and solutions to overcome these.  I'm never satisfied until what I do is perfect.  That led me to find solutions to perform quasi-professional editing that you normally can only do with more expensive and more professional software.

I think you'll find that trait in my lectures as well.  I am unable to teach something partially.  I won't just skim over a subject.  Whatever I teach, I'll cover it completely so you'll fully understand the subject.

I truly hope you will indeed learn from the knowledge that I'm sharing with you and that you'll apply that knowledge in your own life.
