Project Description

Colorize a black and white photo

ASSIGNMENT

Use one of the methods from the class to colorize a photo of your choice. Get creative or go by the book!

MATERIALS

(1) Black & White photo your choice: a scanned family photo, a picture you took or a Public Domain image/Creative Commons Image (see lessons on licensing and finding images).

Any of the following photo editing programs:

  • Photoshop
  • Affinity Photo
  • Pixelmator
  • Paint.net

DELIVERABLE

To complete the project, please upload the following to the class project gallery:

  • The original B&W photo
  • A bit about why you chose this photo
  • The final colorized edit
  • Which method you used to edit your photo
