About This Class

This is a great place to start if you're new to Cinema 4d!  By the end of this course I'll teach you how to create a waving flag animation from scratch.

You'll learn how to build the flag using basic shape objects and how to add motion to your flag with the wind deformer.  I'll teach you how to create a background gradient and light your scene using an infinite light to create hard shadows.  Then we'll texture our flag with some simple textures, and I'll even show you how to add your own logo to the flag so that it waves in the wind.  Lastly, I'll teach you how to render out your scene.

This is a fun way to familiarize yourself with some of the basic tools and techniques Cinema 4d has to offer, all while creating a piece that looks great in your portfolio or on your website.
