About This Class

Mix'n'Match Blues introduces the first 'chromatic passing tone' (semitone) into the five-note minor pentatonic scale you learned in the One-Octave Blues.

This 'in-between note' is one of the two that are regularly lending a little more complexity and 'colour' (= chroma) to the five-note major and minor pentatonic scales.

The Mix'n'Match Blues module also offers a chance to improvise you own bass line from a number of alternatives, and practice your playing-by-ear skills.
