  About the Course and Us

We are the first foreign-run Chinese (Mandarin) teaching company in China with a completely new approach to teaching Chinese. Our courses are constructed by foreigners for foreigners, and also include the wide experience of our Chinese teachers.

In this course you will learn the fundamental concepts upon which you can easily build your Chinese language learning. By the end of this course, you will be able to conduct a simple conversation in Chinese with basic expressions, as well as the relevant reading and writing skills.

Chinese is the most logical language there is and we hope to demonstrate to the world how to successfully navigate it. Through the ancient system of using pictograms, two words with separate meanings can join to form entirely new words. For example, learn the word for electricity (电), then add brain (脑) and you get computer (electric-brain). Replace brain with stairs (梯) and you get elevator (electric-stairs). 话 means speech and 'electric-speech' means telephone. Chinese is a clearly structured, logical language, and it is this logic that makes the learning experience feel like a puzzle that anyone can solve.

We teach entirely through videos, where we first explain concepts and then show them in practice through dialogues with strangers on the street. Videos are shortened down to 1-5 minutes and to make sure you are paying attention we will give you quizzes between the videos based on what you have just learned. Pass it and move on to learn about the next concept.

Each lesson consists of 20-40 mins of video content. This introduction course contains 4 lessons (2+ hours in total) and a little treat at the end...

When you sign up we will also give you our course book that helps you review everything you learn much easier.

Your instructor in this course is Felix Lattman, who founded Domino Chinese in Guangzhou, China, after spending some years in the city and teaching himself Chinese. To him Chinese made a lot more sense than it is generally credited with, and so he realised this language of 1.3 billion people should be very easy to learn as long as it is taught in the right way. In 2013, he started teaching Chinese to foreigners and within 3 months all of his students could converse in Chinese.

With Felix's approach to teaching Chinese combined with the other Chinese teachers' experience in the company we hope to improve Chinese teaching everywhere in the world and make it fun, logical and much more like "a walk in the park" for anyone!

1. 662: Hey, guys, My name is Felix. I'm from dominant Chinese. And you are Welcome back to Domino Chinese level two, if you haven't already go back to level one and we have an introduction course before that one. However, if those are to be safe for you, then you're very welcome to where we are right now. I'm very excited. You can hear that from the tone of my voice. And why so? Well, because we've been working so hard to get this level in particular up to you. We've been going to China a few rounds. I'm in Sweden that we built an entire studio for your sake. For this level sake on. It's just because we believe so much. And we've seen the results that this Kenbrell you. So this is the official launch of level to Andi. Let's get started. Okay, so we have all Tal is the 1st 2 characters than the first word in this in this level, to know on what it means is it's actually my favorite word because it looks like two pieces off Tetris on what it means is it means bumpy, as you can see is that s so if you want a road, you can simply say, Oh, it's so bumpy. Here, use those two characters So you can say, Remember now you should not say here it's very bomb. But you should say here very bumpy because objectives don't they don't need should. They don't need to be So we just say here very bumpy. Sure, hon. Little dirt on multiple. Fantastic. And now we have our first word off level. To who? Okay, so next thing I want to tell you now is that we have had a lot of students and I implore you to do the same thing. Now join us on their helping us with several things were building up with one of them and recreating the whole website. Maybe you even on the new website. Now it's probably looking wonderful. We have another student called former student I should call him. And nowadays I should call him our partner, Rick. Hello, Rick. If you watch him, he's made new Monix the new Monix or waste to remember characters by. He's his envision them very nicely and put them into a design program. And now they came out wonderfully on for each character he tries to make one on DSO. He's made one new Monix for this word hit on. You can see it. You can see it. Well, let's let's Ah let's let us. Let us have a Rick explain this simply to us. Good luck, Rick. Two. Wonderful. Thank you very much, Rick. This is one of his first you Monix and there's a lot more is up. He's trying to make up for his trying to make one pneumonic for each and every character off course. But there's obviously a lot. So he is not catching up with the speed of the course, the creation of the course. Andi. But if we haven't been able to at the point of recording at the point where we at which we record a character if he has not made a sign for it yet little new Monix then you you can actually go to and I implore you to do this is what goto our Domine addiction. If you not now go to our website, you can find dominant dictionary that you press the character you want to learn on. It'll have opinion. It'll have the translation. It also have links to the videos where I talk about this character so you can know more about it if it's not just enough with translation opinion on it. Also have Ricks Wonderful little New Monix and that is all I have to say. For now, we're officially learns our first word and two characters off level two and that is a little and we can say John multiple. Oh, so Bumpy, isn't it? 2. 664: Oh, so we are back. This is our first screening. We can call it a screen recorder for a domino level two, and let's get straight into it, cause there's so much to learn. We'll start with a very, very common word. I want to give you some words just so that you can start speaking a lot easier because these ones are very common commonly used when we speak and this is going to mean. But so it's pronounced. The second thing we need to know is that it's pronounced done, done, done, foretold, in done. So it sounds like a done so we can save booked. Done like the American name done but done in Chinese. That would sound something like Done. Don, don't down. Okay, wonderful. Let's just put that in the corner here in the Meanwhile, we can fill in the rest here, and this done comes from something very useful, that constant, this character. And this is actually, as you can see here, it's some on the top, and then in the bottom, it's like the horizon. It's actually literally the character for one, but we can also think of it like the horizon. There's actually means Lord and we're not going to use it a lot. Ask Dawn. We're not going to use it on its own, but it's going to be very used us. A sound part is up. That's actually the fourth toners up Onda. We can see how that effects this pronunciation because it's exactly the exact same pronunciation. Isn't it? Wonderful? Okay, as removed, that one. And then we'll put that right here and we'll learn another character after this video. The next character also asked the same pronunciation. So police remember, this is pronounced dawn And what do we have now? What we can say? Dun Dun, please don't. Please don't. Something, something, Something. Uh oh. I didn't ought to fill that little thing. Sorry. Like that Back to Chinese from switching between my keyboard there. But Dan, please don't. So I think you know how to use it now. But we can also use it like done sure eso the world could either be the what could either be just done. Or we could say dash dash. So if you want to say it in the beginning of a sentence and there's a lot following this word, then I would suggest that you just use is done. But it's probably easier to in the beginning now to at least in the beginning, now to start using it as dancer just attention. So say, Dan Show all the time. It makes it one more word to pronounce. So it's much easier for us to understand what you're saying. If you're pronounce Asia's not super early super on point. Wonderful. So we can say. But I don't like it. Let's say that in Chinese down that would be something like done or let's say, done shoot dasher, war Bussi and then you Daschle, Bussi, homey. And that is wonderful, and that is all I have to say. 3. 668: so we have done. And that meant But But from that same at the dawn, character hit way can also find done, as in I'm worried about. And then if we add a shin after it, then it becomes a vote is in. I worry about but remember we don't say about in Chinese. That's just, um uh, um excessive that simply you don't need it simply and say in excessive it's a so Plus it's an excessive thing to add to a sentence. So instead, in English, we should be saying I worry you instead of I worry about you on I agree with Chinese here. That's a much more efficient way to say this sentence. So what we should say is I wary what I'm seeing and then you what that's in you. And also, if we want to say I very much worry about you in English to say I very much or I worry about you very much in Chinese, remember how we can say I very hate. You want honey similar to that? What we do there is we say objective or adverb. And then we put the verb So I very hate one hut Now I very worry one dancing and then whatever you worried about, So what? And dancing Ni? Let's look at an example here. Want dancing? Me? Oh, they say, Yeah, homo does. Yeah. Often dancing. Uh, Okay. Okay. You can hold my hands. Okay, You very cold in China, frizzy. 4. 673: Okay, So next video here, in this video, we're going to learn. Actually, we'll start with sure. At this character is plans. Sure. On it means to know something between or something. Sure to know something. Okay. Enrique will actually break it down for us, so I will. I will just help you recognize the different parts in this this character. I also help you write that this is a true Is that a first tone Drew to know Andi it comes from Let's see if we can find it here. Mm mm. There we go. And this actually means arrow. But it's only going to be used as a BB as a building block. Andi, it's pronunciation is actually sure on that will. Obviously, because we won't use it. It won't be very used. It won't be pronounced a lot, but it will affect a lot of characters just like this. True. So you can see the pronunciation affected. This pronunciation wonderful sure means to know something. So if you don't know something, you can just say, uh, let me write that for you full and then sure. Put your butcher butcher. Let's listen to on say that instead on me. Do you know about You know what we call ducks in Sweden? But do you know what Doc's call themselves in? Swedish. Do you know? Do you know what that would thing would be called in Swedish. But you do, you know, do not know anything. I know nothing. Basically no. Nothing? No, I drew nothing. Nothing. I do nothing I'm using. Do you know? Do you know what I was? Okay. I'm giving up a a walk out. Yeah. 5. 675: Okay, let's zoom into this little thing Here. It's you see, it's it's a little tall here on what do we see here? What? We see a lot of cars. But if you look at the characters here, let's just look at this character, right? I think we can see it now. Okay, Wonderful. So let's look at this part here. Onda. Let's actually remove everything else here so that we can just focus on one thing. And that is What is that, then? Well, that is the character to the right here, and it's pronounced dull like that about, and what this means here is receive money. So whatever you pay and term means this character here, the 3rd 1 means vehicle, and this dull means Elaine or an avenue. Or let's not call it having called lane or away, we can also call it. Actually, this will be used figuratively and also literally, just as an Elaine, as you can see now, but also will use it in a bit to say knowledge because that's the path of something on Recent is the same. It's a path of something and then will be using this character, which is pronounced now a lot. A lot, a lot. Okay, so let's is that that didn't go very well. Let us just right For now, that means lane or way on. Let's break it down just a tiny bit. We have above it. We have shoulder, and this one will be using this one later on on its own. Andi, I was considering not teaching you this character, but it's very useful. Later on will be used to, say Capital City on also like first page on. First of all, let's do this and so on. So basically what it means, it's it's ahead of something. We call it a main, the main or something, or a head off something. And so now that we know that by the way, this one has the eye in the bottom there, Can you see that? And so it's quite easy to maybe now it's a lot easier. It leads to relate it. Teoh. The main thing it means main something because we've got ice here. So let's take this character shoal, which it's pronounced that Andi put it together with a path. This one here, this one here means a path, and so path plus plus main. Basically that meant literally a road or away. So it's the way main way to go somewhere, basically, on the end of next video will teach you how to say avenue which will see everywhere in cities. This one, as you can imagine, where there are loads of roads everywhere in the city. So if you're now in China, you very lucky, because you have a chance to see this everywhere now. So next video we're about to see not just lane, where you can pay, but also just the word to say avenue any big road in any city. Let's have a look at that in the next video, but before that, what do you think it would be? 6. 676: Okay, This video is meant to be later on in the course, and that's why it's actually spoken to you. It's explained to you, by me still, but in Chinese this time, but we have decided to take it on. Move it earlier in the course, so I'll just explain what it means now and then. You'll just simply hear me speaking with a few Chinese words in a bit. So this character thes are two characters. It's big, and then it's dull, and that means a away, a path, but also just away, like a wrote. So what we say is that a big, big way big wrote that becomes avenue. If you go to any bigger cities or anywhere simply where there's a big street going through town, then you can call that a about wonderful on. So you're about to see a wonderful little example of that right now. Good luck. Toddle Avenue. Oh, I want a big, big, big big road avenue or the Big Big Street soiled an avenue or a big, big street Wandera without out alone 7. 678: the reason why we just told you about this Dow or about as an avenue or dollars in a road. A path of something is because the best way to say I know something is not just by saying what your truth has no, no note instead not know isn't like that. But no isn't to know something with knowledge instead of saying you should say you're and then you should add a little. Because if you know something, you're on your way off like knowledge. You on that, You on the right path. Basically, if you don't know something, you're stupid and you're on the wrong path. In life, you know something that is a good thing. So you on the right path. So we should say, true that true wonderful is what we have then this we can say truth out through that on. We can also say what true? That water that wasn't. I know. Let's look at some examples for that, you know? And here are some more examples, actually with water, that is all. Isn't I know or just drew that, as in I know is on, and it's implied that if you just say true, Dr that it's implied that that you understand that you don't need to be over over, express it in Chinese and also pay attention to how it's thought. Sounding a bit cute almost after while off. When guns assess it like 10 times. Then it starts suddenly like or admit Cute. At least I think so far. Uh huh. Do you know what that is? But uh huh Do you know what? Do you know what my name is now? Relief? A Do you know what? Do you know that water is good for you? What do you know? This is all this. Do you know what yellow means? You know? Do you know everything? I know everything. I did everything. Literally, everything. Everything. Yeah, just leave you to okay. 8. 678: because we're skipping the dull. So you need to be more aware of your tone is a more formal way to say things. So I don't know your name. You do? Yeah. It's also very interesting way to say that. And it is. You're still lasting Taiwan. So if you said you needed quickly becomes how so? I say this all the time. I would like you to start saying it too. We would like you to start taking to the O on what's my name? Oh, wait. I quit. No idea. 9. 679: let's work with some examples for this word. Now with the word truth Also, weaken France and say war, border that I don't know. But then we don't have to stop there. We can continue by saying this is what is in. I don't know what this is. And Chinese, we don't have to say we don't have to flip it around. What I'm talking about here is flipping. If you think about what is This is a question. But if we're saying so, what is this? But if we're saying I don't know what this, it's then we're changing it. That is confusing, but only in English. In Chinese. We don't do that. Instead, it should be like I don't know what is this? Simply what Pulled without Digger? Sure. Shama. Let's have a look at that now to go out. Teoh Guinea. Oh, no! Shammar progresses from our which is markedly talking. Go up! Did you go wonderful! I hope you understood and heard was able to hear every character spoken in that centers by wonderful little on next centers that you're about to hear now is the same. But we're adding a little march at the end and this is very interesting. We'll talk more about it later in the course is basically is. Basically if we put we put a knee pull true doll Higashiyama. If that If that is the entirety off the sentence, then that means you don't know what this is. But then if you if you had, um, at the end of this sentence, it just becomes do you Do you know what this is? Question Mark. So it's you don't know what this is to you or do you know do not know what this is, so let's listen to that before we listen. Let me just repeat what I'm about to say. Knee portrait. All Chigusa Chama need food without a gusher. Obama, what would your people? So what is this reading the talk? Really? Uh oh. Just talking. And the last example of before we leave you is what Children up on. Then we say simply simple beginning. We know what this means. Hopefully I don't know. And then the rest is Do you? If you want this or not, whether you want this on, we have to pay attention here. It's actually dramatically on formally speaking. It's incorrect to say, I don't know if you want this, we should say I don't know because then we're presenting two options. So we can't say if we should say whether you want this or this. So we should be using the word or it's quite simple now in Chinese, we just simply say, I don't know you. I don't know if you and then we say Want not what? So we're presenting the two options like we've done so many times before And that is all we need to do now. I don't know if you want, not want well, but without me you are. We are we would not need. You'll be up. Let's have a listen. Accident reading to talk. Really? Um, we'll put it on the mobile. You'll be drawn the Yeah 10. 681: So we've learned how to say I don't know this, whether this or this I don't know if I want this So this let's have a look at their centres . Let's go war border without I don't know. We'll put it up on because in Yeah, we are You want not want on that? We can just say Yeah, that's actually for now. I don't know You not, want, not want I don't know if you want this or not basically but And that centers in English I said if you want this or not So in the same spirit that we are that we are learning now I want to continue. I want to continue just give you the word or which is quite complicated. Unfortunately, three character sounds like this hodja wardrobe But it looked quite difficult, doesn't it? Georgia, Georgia. So Georgia means or on for the next moment here for the next. While I just want to focus on understanding this character. The first part part is this one hot and this one can actually be used on its own. Just mean or on it has. What does it have in it? It actually has Valentina Yeah, it has the Dawn character Plus, and this character now is quite interesting. It's the girl which is pronounced hurry this'll one that that was a London like a big sword . We used it when we said, What if you still remember that which I hope you do You state were already reusing the characters that we learned previously. So this plus that and it gives us or Andi. Then we can continue with Joe, and this will work with this character on its own later on. It doesn't mean or actually means like a person who's doing something. I don't want to try and break them down and make you understand why it's wardrobe. I just want you to learn it as an expression. So let's put this one down for now. Here on it's pronounced whore and this is Horta wardrobe, and then the other characters, like we just said, it's sure, and this one we've actually seen this one before. We've seen it. If you still remember this character, Dole, which is a very complicated character, it's all so let's right that or and this is just simply drop meaning, meaning what do we say that this meant, Let's not break it down too much, but this basically means a do. Er every time we put the word or the ending e r to something in Chinese, we just going to add this one instead. But that's for later. Basically, I just want you to I'm writing this now because I don't just want you to acknowledge the fact that this character Hoster in it. So I've actually already seeing it. Seen it. So it shouldn't be too difficult to just take that part out from the character. All Onda. Yeah, and just use it on its own instead. Wonderful. Now we've seen that. No, um, here, let me go through it again or said We said Wardrobe, It looks like this. You'll see it many, many times. So we'll go through there so you'll be able to review it later on many, many occasions. So it was hot, which was this one and injure, which was like a do er or a person doing something fantastic. So let's use it in a sentence that we can say or pull drew a doll warrior Jigga Georgia Jiggle hore dra porter jiggle Fantastic. I don't know if I want this or this s O Let's just put that here. Now let's read it. And you might have a lot of questions now because we've actually learned two words for but we'll break that done. In the next video, we'll booted out Warrior Ortega. What? Audra? I don't want No, it won't this or this whole. And before you move on, let's just listen to an example here with wardrobe. It's un saying I'm saying blah, blah, blah and then Anna saying, But you can also Or you could say it like this Horta year. Coy trail. Sure. And then she says, whatever she's about to say, let's look at that one more time and then we'll listen. Wardrobe or yeah, coy. Also, can j onshore say it like this? We can also say it like this. Or we can also say it like this. Order you Craig Gentry. Action. Hello. Um, hello. How are you? Hi. Oh, hello, Georgia. Hi. Hello. Hi. Oh, hi. Oh, hi. I e no, it's It's my turn. You know, 11. 681: wonderful will put that hit that was not very straight. No, it's straight. Okay, open it. And let's make everything just a tiny bit smaller on. Now. I just want to break down because you've let wardrobe, which means or but you also learned high? Sure, which also means, or we just write the pronunciation for that one high. Sure, which also means or on. The difference now is that Horta can be used. Let me just give you an example here, or we, um, write it like this. Or we can say it like this. That's the sentence we deduced. So that is an example for that torture for that or but the other or here we can use. Do you? What, This or this? Um okay, so no, look in that we can. If we look at these two examples, we can actually find the answer here. The difference between or in or in English. It's confusing because there is only 11 word to say this. But if you think of it saying this or is basically just saying, there's this, there's where there's either this way or this way or you can use it like I don't know if I want this, whether I want this or this basically using, like weather. But the idea here is that everything is statements. Okay, so everything is statements. I'll write that here at the end statements. However, now we get to the funny part here. To the interesting part, this is always questions. So this other or if you think of it, we're always saying any time we say or in the question, it's like presenting two options and asking someone, Do you want this or this? Do you like me or him? Chinese or or Korean? All of those whores, as in a question, are going to be high. Sure. And that means because high shirt will now be used as a as a za question, only as a question. Every time we hear it, we know it's a question. Eso we say neo Tigger weaken Say, Do you want this or this high should take note taker. I should giggle and not the funny part about this now is that we're taught so far that we should add Mark if it's a question, but because high Shirt is already implying that it's a question because it's only used this question so it's actually its own little question world. So we don't need much at the end. And this is a mistake that many foreigners do. They they simply they have. They have the World High Show or in high shoes sentence like an or sentence. And then they put my at the end. And that is very incorrect. Please note that. Please note that I put this down now and I'll just read again what we've seen. And then we'll leave this video ho wardrobe means or but only like or is in. I don't know if I want this or this or or you can say it like this or or that I just use that Quadra What a heart Horta. But you can also just use this one, huh? What? What? What s so you can say? I don't know if I want this hot. This were booted out. We are dig a hole trigger. Okay. And the truth. We won't break that down too much, but we've seen it before in this Dole character. Very interesting indeed. On now, let's use it hard or we can say or we can say it like this, if that was the thing is that if that was the centers in Chinese and those are only statements, but if you want to use it is a question. There we go. Then we need to say that we go second tone. High shirt high. Sure, so we can say Ni Ortega. High sugar. Ah, very, very interesting indeed. Isn't it wonderful? We've learned something. If you have any questions, if you want to practice a little bit, just leave a comment on the video and I'll be I'll be there on a moment's notice. 12. 683: you, Rico. Eureka. Recall you reach you recall you, Rico. So this video now is compared to all the other One's a bit more important because it it into introduces a concept that we are going to stick to many, many, many times. It's me running around naked with a little smiley there on what that illustrates now is if you've heard on the story the Greek story, the ancient Greek story about our committees who he had an epiphany when he was sitting in a bathtub one day. And then he realized that, well, the volume that comes in is the same volume that comes out because the same day he had been asked Teoh he'd been asked to try and measure the volume off gold. And it was a was a golden statue of a horse. I think it was on. He wasn't able to hey wasn't able to measure the volume because it was all uneven and he could not melt it down. And then he realized when he sat in the bathtub, that weight, if I just put it in a bathtub than the bathtub, the volume that comes out is exactly the volume that this course contains. So now I know it. And then he stood up and he ran around naked like that. Little sweet just did. And then he said, Eureka, Eureka, Eureka! And if we spell that out here, the end of it Eka Eka is actually this is super interesting. This has left a Greek now so we don't have it. We only had it a ancient Greek. It's not in Greek, and it's not actually a part of any components in any Western language. It's still, however, very used in Asian languages. And Chinese is one example here. What we're going to talk about is the look, and the law is basically Ika on. Why this is interesting now and why it's not like any other Western languages is maybe have been told that Eureka the ika just means I've realized it because that's what he's done. He's realized it, but what it actually means and this is super interesting, is you take something in ancient Greek Andi. Not everything has to do with now before or after, as in future tense future turns, press intends on past tense, but instead they are aspect particles, and this might sound complicated If you don't like it, then just ignore it and just follow me at the end of the story. So what we have is an aspect particle, and this instead. Now it only cares about where you are in relation to what you're talking about. So basically it makes it means that in simpler words, it means that you've come from one point to another point. And if there is a change here, then you should have a look or you should add IKA. And the change in this story with our committees is that he has realized it so. But instead of saying he has realized it, or I have realized that we should say I've come to the realization off understanding volume , how to measure volume, and this might strike you as well. This is nothing in nothing special. But in the next upcoming videos, I'll be explaining how we can use the look. And if you keep this in mind now that it has to do with not just past tense now, tens on future tens, if you could just simply remember it like a 0.2 points and if you've changed, then you can use the look similar to how used Ika. If you can remember that now or the next upcoming videos are going to be very simple for you. So we can start now by simply saying everything in past tense are things that you have come from and now you're in present tense. So you have done them. So if you say war sure, I speak and then we'll shola. Then you have performed the action of speaking. So you should say Wash Ola Warszawa. We can have another example where we have Wasilla, Wasila or we can have another example and that men's I've written it. I wrote it or if we can say I throw up But then instead I throw up. So I've come to the point of doing it. What? Ola, I've thrown up Disgusting, isn't it? It's not disgusting. It's education. Wonderful. I'll tell you more about this concept in the next videos and I hope you rest excited as I am to get to know more afterwards. You can brag about this to your friends and they will think while you know a lot, my friend. You Rico Eureka! Recall you recharge Eureka 13. 687: So before I told you, we should say I work here. And then what's interesting here is that we want to in the beginning of the sentence, we want to let's right out here beginning or like actually in brackets in the beginning of the centers. We want to We want to, like, confirm place. Look for location. Let's confirm location. Who on time and then then the action. Okay, so this is super important now because in the sentence I work here. We should then say war, and then we should take Okay. We want to confirm we want to just make sure that we know where we are. Just clarify that first, maybe I should say clarifying. Not the word, not not to confirm it to clarify the location first. So I that's who. Location. Well, we have the location, actually, so it's site and time. We don't have that. But now we have the action. So you work. What are your gums? And remember this now. Because if I just give you a simple sentence like please right here, then what we're going to do here is we're going to follow this same structure, and it's very important that you do this now. Maybe you can write this down or just imprinted into your little brain there and you'll be good to go from now on. What? We want to do it if we say please right here. Or we can skip the word police does. Not always going to focus on now. Um, right here. So the action is right. But here is actually the locations. We want to clarify that first so we can still say tighter. And then we just say sheer. And if we're going to write something like see a drum one write in Chinese, then we can write that at the end of the address, you or Wonderful. But if we now have, ah, maybe say, say that we have someone has written a lot. All of a sudden it's we're looking in the notebook and it's all our favorite students or their students has written a lot. We want to say, Well, you've written a lot here. Then we can say, Let's keep the look out for now and just right, right. The entire centers you hear right Condor and needs actor Shia onboard and love the look. We just add it right there after the verb, or we can also add it. After that, it it is up to you simply this one. The law is very flexible. Okay, Needs a Tracee LaHood bore. So that has changed. Now to you have written wonderful so alive that this video taught you is that instead of instead of doing it like English ing, I work here war going toward trip, which is okay in Chinese. But it doesn't sound very, very native, simply and in that same way, in that same spirit, we want to write all the other verbs as well. For instance, to write what such are right here. Even though you're not writing, it's a big location, like a factory He's writing in your page. You should still consider that location needs address. She a locked door. We can say needs address you while you've written a lot here 14. 690: Okay, so here's a very interesting words. Weight le This one. So the entire centers here is, by the way, it's written. This is taken from just a post. A poster, I think, outside of my elevator. I think so. What it says is Whalen in her tyrant. Unchain shin will go edgy. Will go girl Campo. And so what this entire centers here says is for you and other safety. Please don't from a high altitude throughout, things basically litter there on. So what we're going to focus on here on is actually, let's keep it in the sights. And that's his mark. Just Mike this word here, Onda, we can actually keep up with the rest of it. She's deletes most of this. Bye for now. We need some space to work with here, unfortunately. Okay, so now we have we have we have we have Willow s. So this means for four It also means, like in order to But we'll work with that in a second, and that will come later in the course. But it basically the same idea. If you do something for you, do it for the sake of or you do it in order to do this on. So I just want to break this down there. We've seen before. We've seen way Sharma. And this means why have also seen you wait. Which means because And now it's like 1/3 expression have also seen, by the way, soy. But we're not going to work with that in this video. Why so well, Because it doesn't have the way or the way, all the way, the way and Wailua is four. So instead of saying, because this is a very, very important distinction here, I think you understand The difference on Dhere are the two words and Chinese is all We've looked the word because before you wait, you wait. You wait in way. But the word way law and the law doesn't have a turn isn't before for the sake of someone So we can say, um, we know how to use in way. We get a humane me because of you, like Kelly Clarkson would have said because of you. But if we say whelan me, then it would be This is for you. So if someone crawls up to someone, some has been fighting for a specific object or something and incomes crawling into the frame and then gives it off to this person then says, Just shoot. This is for you. It should not say this is because of you basically blaming you for whatever has occurred to this person. Instead, you should say Cheshire, Whelan. You wonderful. Similar to how they used to tear four others people safety. Please don't yada yada yada. Wonderful. I hope you understand that to use it because we're moving onto a video. Now let's have a look. Whalen means in order to or four. Thanks. Way yeah. 15. 696: this is like the best reason to take selfies because because therefore, education in the name of education. So what we're going to focus on is the character how which means to arrive. But it can also be used as a proposition to say to because Chinese doesn't like for positions. By the way, why I have this character. Why have this photo here is because it says it right here, doesn't it? We even know it in French, Not wonderful. And so let me just tell you this one. First, it's confused us to arrive as a very but also as to just as a proposition because Chinese doesn't like to overuse propositions. But if they're necessary Like like in this case, friends and you need a word to say to because 21 What f 56. We don't We don't get it. What is it then? You need a proposition here, But in other cases, like saying I'm arriving to your house now or I'm going to your house. Those twos are not necessary. Only this too. So that's why it can be used as a verb and as a proposition, which makes it wonderful. Okay, No and we know how to use it. And so it means to arrive. What we can see in it is actually the character me big. There's a little bit bigger so that we can enjoy it. Uh huh. Was that bigger? I don't think it was OK, there we go. I think that's big enough for us. On what house now is if you might notice it. It was Might have been a bit too small for you to notice. But the right part is actually Ah Tao. But it's got it doesn't look like the ordinary now, like knife. It looks like this since that. OK, there we go. So let's stick to that one and the left part. We're not going to focus on that as all now, actually, because it's a fairly complex character. It's this one. It means to reach something, so to reach, plus the sound part, which helps us with the sound, obviously. But the idea here is to reach, and that on that gives us the word to arrive. So I think that makes a lot of sense. So let's just let's just do that. And ah, put that somewhere nice. I think that right over my face is a very nice place. Okay? Till doll out on were used as one together with look a lot so dollar. If you have arrived somewhere, you've come to this point to the change of state. So we say, Look, dollar dollar, I have arrived and you don't need say what? Because it's imply that you have arrived. If what? Whatever we're talking about, we know we're talking about. So if we're talking about you, we still don't need say you because we know that we're talking about me. But you dollar weaken, say dollar one and last thing I want to tell you is all this. You might find it confusing, but the exact same pronunciation, how and, uh, this about these are exactly the same pronunciation and this one's means like, let's call it away. And this one means to arrive so you can arrive on away on a boat and then you'd be using both it out and the But we'll do that later on. Hello. Wonderful. So dollop means arrived, love. So basically, I've come to this point and I have now I have not arrived. So you were not you have not arrived before. And now you're here on note also. How we don't have to say war dollar is in. I have arrived because that's already implied. You just simply say have to say dolla dolla we don't need anything else. It's very fine. If you want to say what dollar is up now you're about to hear Need Salamah need a llama and this now is knee dollar. So you have arrived and then there's in Have you arrived? That is the question on what you want to answer now is quite simple. Actually, it's just Yes, I have arrived. So you want to answer the question? Do you remember that we did this before? If we ask if I ask you, Are you hungry? You should answer with the question. You should answer with taking the question and make it your answer or up. Now the question is Darla MMA. So I should say if I have arrived now and we'll ignore how we should say it's if we haven't arrived yet simply, yes, I have arrived. Then we should say what we can say arrive. Look what dollar for dollar. But again because it's implied we say dollar, dollar. And so I know that this is going to be tricky for you. Maybe it's easy now, but it will definitely come back and haunt you a little bit later on because we're used to just saying yes and no to answer questions in English. But in Chinese, we just have to listen to what the question is. It's actually when you think of it a lot easier, take what you hear and make it into your answer. And that's all I have to say for this video. So here we go with another example. Mollema. Nidal, Emma. I expect you don't don't don't want, don't want Oh God, Allah. 16. 697: wonderful so Chinese doesn't actually have propositions. We simply we take characters as in verbs instead on put them there if it's necessary otherwise, like saying I worry about you about is a proposition. We don't want it. We don't want that proposition in Chinese. However, if you want to say I'm going to the store, then simply using the word go will imply that you're going to the store. But sometimes, if you want to be very clear about it and explicit about what you're trying to say that, are you going to arrive there from yesterday to tomorrow? Maybe then you need the word to. And then we're actually going to use this word that as into arrive so it can mean either to arrive or just simply serving us A as a proposition to say to so to or to arrive and know. What's interesting now is if we say what dollar, then it means I have arrived. But if we flip this now and we say how war love, we just flipped out on day one, so the Walla so arrived at me or to me. What this means now is maybe we're playing a gang with loads of people on the turn is not mine. So it's arrived. Or basically we can translate it to two. So it's to me. It's arrived at Meena. It's my tone, huh? So what we say is, instead of what dollar is in, I've arrived. We should say bowel more and that's it. So maybe we've arrived at a place and now it's our turn. Then we should use both of these. And remember, we need to make sure that we know where to put the what and where to put the darn. The luck is what we're going to finish with in both sentences. So we start with Hey guys, what dollar? I'm here now. Then we say it's my turn. Dull Walla. Fantastic! If you want to ask now, is it my turn? You just finished with a month at the end. So da wah Lama How Walk lama And that's it. You can hear me say it right here. Good luck 17. 700: Hey guys, the whole guys on. So what I want to talk to you about in this video is how we can use look, because it can be used in so many different places past tens, future, tens and and present ends. Even so, whenever we want to use past tense whenever you want to express that, it's in past tense. Using the lot is not enough, actually, So we'll say this word already because if you think of it, if you other words already, it means that it's already happened so in Chinese will have the lot of still put in. The beginning will add the word already, and that means that in Chinese, the word already there is word for it, and I'm about to teach it to you in a 2nd 1st I just want to tell you that it is much more common then the equivalent than the word already in English. And the word is eating, and that is quite a difficult one. Therefore, I hope that maybe Rick house a little new Monix for it it because it is quite difficult for me to explain to you, however, you'll see it a lot, so It's not too difficult to remember hopefully, but let's break this down. Oh, we have, um here we have e e. And that means already actually confused on its owners up. It looks like a baby. Almost so I can imagine that the baby has already arrived. Yeah, we don't want it to be late, at least. And then this one thing has to do with actually experience. Instead, it with experience will use just to say literally experience, but also also like to go through something. Everything you experience you passed through is all or to go through the past through. And also the word already because we've passed through this. So it has to do with time as all very much so. And we'll see it's a lot more later on. So that is all I have to tell you about this word here. It means already, as we can see and it's super useful, I'll just add a little e. Sorry, I could do that better. I think, uh, e And then it's ching. Eating means already so we can say a pronoun like I friends war eating And then something something Look An example there could be. I've already arrived. We can say what dollar, but it's much better to say. Why eating dollar that Just like this one in the little nice red color there. War using dollar waging dollar fantastic little sentences. Have a look and listen to that way. Yeah. Wow. 18. 703: here now is a vintage video. I like to keep them for vintage on comedic purposes. Andi, I looked a lot better when I was young. As off too many wrinkles, not from too many of these videos. So I'm going to introduce a few and show you a few more cases where we can use this little on Dow. This is not in past tense. This is love used as Eureka. So it's important that you paid attention when that was a when there was a Swedish guy running around from a bathtub naked because that introduced coming from one point to another and I'll explain that now again and again, please have patient patients on be a bit understanding towards the quality off the elder off the upcoming video. Because it's old, wonderful. This is Look, this is me looking young. Good. Oh, 000 oh, yeah, Well, much better Now are not much better. Much better. So going from there to there being bad being bow wow to going to how? Look, as in, I've come from not being good, and all of a sudden I am good. So we put help and we put together this was behind. This was whole another example. Oh, I need food. I need food. I need food. Uh oh. Funny that you have to show yourself falling down in every video use. Look, what we have is we have nothing. But then he was hungry. So the person went from nothing to, uh but it wasn't always hungry. He was. Look, do you remember simply the most iconic way to say or to say that Chinese is a Cayman language by saying, Oh means hungry? We say, Oh, look, because we come from that we go to that Ola. I'm hungry now, so I shall giving it also, you know it. 19. 704: here now are a few bloopers from our old office in our old videos from China where we taught you have to say holla as it's come to the point of being good holler and then we can ask Isn't okay now. Holla! Ah! Wonderful. Having listen. Uh uh. Hello? My column. A column? A, uh, male. Well, uh uh, Ok, so you can hear the boy here saying Ha Lamar Halama is in. Are you don't know? You don't Prepping the camera. Whatever issue doing with your equipment. Holum are Holum a very, very nice little expression on you can see. The application is straight out off China. Wonderful. Are you ready? So you you talk to each other? Uh huh. 20. 705: fantastic now can be used with joy to say, Hey, this is a very cloak yal expression that you can just throw out any time you want As many times as we throw out the expression BTW, as in, by the way, because this is what it's going to mean. It's basically saying Play as incorrect. But then, look, it's come to the point of correct. I know this might be hard to understand, so if you don't want to just think of it as a set expression. Otherwise, I think it makes sense. We say day as incorrect. But then it wasn't correct before, and now we thought of it. So now Oh, yeah. By the way, there's one. There's this thing that I want to tell you about. So we say, Let's listen to arm using it as well. Like a pure native How you go. Okay. Okay. Um Oh, no. Oh, no. 21. 706: Here's another example Here we use coy and this refers to can as in It's OK now eso can or okay, now or also good, basically. So this is this'll is now going to be all Kayla or basically Cooley lot aan dat means it's come from not being okay. And now it's okay. So okay, le or coil a You can go ahead and do this now. So this girl not will ask us. Cool, Lila. And then that is not a question yet. So she had to market the end. Cleo Llama, llama. Or you could also say Okay, Lama all Kate llama. And that is just as much Chinese as clear lemur. Let's listen to what What is about to happen? Oh, Koriyama, Mama, I all 22. 707: So we've learned Teoh use verbs, but in past tens of what we just love afterwards, Friends and Shuala, Shola or we can say she Ella. So, for instance, y eating Shuala or wages Shelagh, Let's work with those two examples now. So far, we've reset it or have already written it. But if you want to negate it now, what should we do? Then? Let's make this and turned into a question to start with needing shore. And then we just had a mark at the end of the sentence. So we just add this one and we changed the war had changed that into an any, and we'll get to go here. So have you already said it? This translates to, and the way to negate there's now is, and this is why it's super important to not use book because bull means no. But it only means, like don't as a note, but it Orleans no as impress intense. That is why there is a distinction, and there is why there's a May in front of your because you're here just like it does in English. It can either just mean to have, like, process procession or something, but it could also mean So that's right, that procession. But he can also mean that you have, as in experience, you have done something s So what we'll do then is the reason why we only this is the rule . Now you need to remember this 1 may, um, you can only put May in fraud in front, off your to negate it. And this and this one hopefully make sense to you because if you think of it, have using it. Yo, here has to do with something you've done. So if you could negate it with another word than boot, then we can also imply that it's not. Book means press intense, and that's another distinction. We have them. So bull weaken, basically say negates press intense or just all general tenses and future tense as well. But if it's past tense and we need May. So we can also write another rule that May and the gates in past tense For that same reason , we don't need to say male. We can just say may all the time just may May May, because we know that there's like an invisible little that you're following all the time. So let's use that as an example. Let's go move this a little bit down and let's have a look. OK, so the question is needing Shore Lama needing? Sure, lemur have Or have you already said it? And what you can say now is no. Have no have said male. Sure we don't need the luck male? Sure No Have said so. I haven't said it literally male short But we can also make this a little bit shorter. Remember what I just said? I told you it's OK. We don't need a yield because we already have them may. So we can actually just say may Sure make sure make sure or we can also just say male mayo . It's quite nice to use two characters so we can either use make sure or male. And I hope they understand that even even though even though in this example in this case with the mail we don't actually have the shore there. But we don't use We don't We'd similar to English here we don't say. Have you spoken? No, I have not spoken. We just say No, I haven't No, I haven't said it. I haven't simply similar to that. We do it in Chinese. It so either you say male, Sure, or you say make sure or mail a last example is all is. You can obviously say it like this is up. However, this is very short and very colloquial. So be aware. If you say it, you need to make sure you're turns are completely on point. Wonderful. So this is how you negate things. And I hope this makes sense to you. And now you're about to see an example here, first off procession where he says, No, I don't have whatever you're asking for. But the next one is Have you have you said this? And then the person I think it's on is about to say no. I have and said it or something like that. Let's have a look and enjoy Police. Your mail. Male male cooler colors in coke off. Male, male. No. Have no have No. So hopefully all of this makes wonderful sense letters. Put this in the little corner. Let me just repeat what I've said to you. Boot can only be used if we negate things. Impress intense. Therefore, it could come before anything but not before the you know, because the yo you need to be procession. But then we can still not use it with both, but it can. It can also mean experience here, and then we need to definitely. And then we can see all the reason in the world hopefully why we need to use it together with the May. Because otherwise we don't know what tense we're talking about. So you can only put May in front of the your and to negate I don't know. I wrote to There should be to negate things, I guess. And she's right. That is it. Okay. To negate things wonderful on so basically may negates in past tense. The examples could be needing for lumber and then we can answer, will make male shore or make sure male or just simply may. Let's just I just want to give you a few more examples now because now we've learned Teoh to se Teoh that we that we negate things but in past tenses up, by the way, with the answer. The short answer to say yes. It's just it's just, uh So these are the two options here. Uh, or male? Fantastic. We can also say white or remember we can just answer the question. If I asked you how Lama, I just answer dollar and that is how I should answer that question. Just answer with the question so we can say war. Let me give you some more examples that were May or sure I haven't said it. We could also say War May or sheer. I haven't written it 1 May, or if I haven't arrived yet, we can say it will mail up. And those all the examples that I'll give you know you can use more. Write in the comments below, if you know any more verbs as well that you haven't meant in this course that you've learned from somewhere else, which you naughty person should definitely not have done. If you don't that, however, right there in the comment and you can start using that as well, and I'll be very happy to see it, it means taste delicious. Good laugh means good to laugh at O for God knows how. Chin, you're just so good to eat. Yes, knows how to make sure 23. 714: Okay, so I just want to keep this screen that we had before. And now instead of saying male just I just want to say I want a What does a nose now is I still haven't I still haven't eso I'm not adding this one because my keyboard is messing this up a little bit. I still haven't and then past tense. So an example here could be I still haven't. I still haven't gone to bed where I still haven't called or I still haven't eaten. Okay, all of those are words that we cannot say. But I just want explain this and then we can use the example to arrive, by the way. So we know Although we know the words there, we know I which would be what we know haven't which would just practice with its male. How would you say it's still then we just put them in the exacting word and we just say hi , which we've lands as well, but only lent to use it as in high shirt as in, like, this or this. This or this. Now we're going to use it to say still, and this is how it's going to be very, very useful now on also, Lento is in. How you how you how you like that wonderful or ah high. Another example could be high yelp. But now it's just high. And whatever the verb is in this case, this is very, very common High male, high male Walheim Why male? And so let me give you some examples here. If we haven't arrived yet, we can say what I may or thought. No. Put that up a bit. So you see, the opinion is a war y bail war, Jaime, or stop Wonderful. Why male? Why male thought Onda, we can negate something here. We can say we can obviously get them, Doc, but maybe want to clarify that we're talking about arriving, but what we all can always um it is this one the your So we could just say what I made out . Why made out? I have still not gotten that We can call it fantastic. Why make that uses with any verb on? Just put the height before that May And you're good to go if you want to try out some other ones. Let me know in the comments below 24. 723: Okay, So one of the most confusing things that may be struck you as a very simple thing in the beginning of Chinese was just the word to want this yell character. This'll one might strike is very, very simple. But it is No, actually that simple. If you if you only speak English one before Actually, it's not simply these beginning language, so it's Yeah, and that means to once. But before we translate it also to like to should. Because if you want to say you shouldn't or like, don't basically then we should be using We should be using this same one, actually, so it can be to want or two should, but we don't actually stop here. Let's just say, um, war. Yeah, well, yeah, And then we put a verb. Friends eat Andi. This, then means I want to, or I should later on, we're going to find another character which is young, and this one means to want is all. But then we're going to start comparing the yellow and this young and we're going to find out that s young has to do with you. See, there's like, hot character in the bottom it has to do with your heart, your actual decided to do something. Where is the yellow? More has to do with an obligation to do something like, for instance, if you want to say you go want to go to the toilet, then your most likely be using this yell because it's nothing that you choose to do is something that you have to do. And Chinese has a quite a clear distinction between that. So you can you both of these can mean to want, but when we get there, we'll talk more about it. What's important for you to know now is that young more has to do with them. We can call it an obligation for something. It's less of a choice and more of an obligation. So well, yeah, eat would be. I want to where I should go and eat. But what this means now is what we'll do is we'll add little look here and remember if we had a lot, it means that or something has changed. Something is about to happen. So now if we put Yao plus le, then it actually means going to or about two so basically something is about to happen. Allow that here as well. And I know that this there were using a lot of translations. But this is actually the case. We're using a lot of English translation for just one little character because it's an agile and very flexible in Chinese, so going to or about to do something so we can say we can't say the word eat. We can say we are way out. We can actually say that. Throw up enough So let's use that one I'm about to throw up. Oh, well, told out where I told her, You can say it doesn't mean you want it. It means you need to war your tour. I'm going to about two. We are taller. I'm I am going to throw up Fantastic. It's sentence maybe not necessarily the tool part of it, but the rest is wonderful. So the rule here that we've we've been told about is the yacht that would alert the end means something's about to happen or pay attention 25. 726: Okay, so this one is very interesting. It's three character, the character, not the express character, but it has to do with it. It's this character. Let me just draw everything, delete everything around it. This character here means quick or what or fast it'll so you can see it in. This is a brunt have in China and its expressive about to erase it now, so maybe you can see it anymore. But basically, race is what it means, but it doesn't mean that. But the quiet this character here, which is pronounced us quite, um, this one, since this one has to do with fast No. So he doesn't have to do with means fast or quick, and then it will definitely be used in the character or in the world Express in Chinese. And so yeah, that's quite so. Whenever you get an express deliver or just a delivery, they'll call themselves Chraidi. Quite quite. They all want to call themselves stop because they think they're all quick, which they actually are very weak. Okay, so the character here is quite and that means fast or quick, ever about to use this one. Now that we've just been introduced, Teoh. I'll just add that one to start with whether way, now that we've just been introduced to Ah yeah, blah, blah, blah. Look about two. I'll just translate that to I know we can translated more than more than that, but we'll just leave it to that. Maybe like going to is up. But what's interesting here is we can say Ni Hunt quite. We can just say that you are very fast. You are very fast, but what's even more interesting here as that's your very fast, We are actually like Teoh. We like to simplify things in Chinese and not have to learn to many words for for war, for saying things. So even though it's two different meanings in English, soon is going to actually mean, um, um is going to be quite a lot. So what we can do now is we can say I will. I, uh I I Let's go. I'm going or I'm I'm arriving. I say that I'm arriving soon. So I was just right that instead, I'm terribly sorry. I am arriving soon. What we could say is, war Yeah, dollar. And that is an okay. Centers for that. But what I'd like you to start doing now is that you don't need the Yeah, you can actually replace it with this one. Is that war? Quite dollar quite dollar. And because the yo still has to do with, like, an obligation like you have to you should something so you can say, Well, yeah, dollar. But using the quite just simply says states the fact that, yes, you will soon arrive. So a few different if you need new things with land here we've been introduced a new character which will break down in a second. Before we do that, though, this new character is pronounced quite quite and it means fast. It also means quick. And it also means soon so we can use it just like we used that. Yo And the look, it's all right. Quite. And then look, and this means the exact same thing as this one will know exactly at this one. This one here, the quiet the look has less to do with that. You should do something more like just stating the fact that it will happen very soon. Fantastic. I hoped up all make sense to you. I'll put this one here. No on. And we can break down the character a little bit. This part here is Ah, heart. This part here This part here is a, um is a guy with an era almost. I think of Robin Hood when I see it. So it's a guy with an arrow and he's got heart because his Robin Hood he shoots very fast or he runs very fast or he's just a very fast person in general. That's how I can think of it and pronounced quite quite, very soon. We're about to learn a lot more characters with this, quite simply, fairly easy to remember. It's pronunciation or actually on a bit stupid. Now we've actually learned quite this one already. And you see the pronunciation and this one means measure word for money. There we go there week so we can see the Robin Hood on the right there and on the right Here is up and you could see the pronunciation here. Four. Turn it off that Just write it for four tone here. Four. Turn here. Fantastic, isn't it? I think it is truly fantastic. Let's put that Roy it right there. Wonderful 26. 730: Yeah, Chopsticks air like this. Your third hand, Like my very clean. What is this in Chinese? Quick. Thank you. So I can use my yeses. And you wish you and you were quiet quite that she will not through the by you. There we go quietly. This is quite quite yeah. Yes. This is a difficult 27. 734: This character here is quite interesting, I would say, and type means, too, as in excessive. We can call it like too much of something too much, too much. Please do not bother me with that much off, whatever to whatever. Whatever it is, it's basically too much. I'm sorry I went on autopilot there. Too expensive? No to excessive is what I wanted to say. We're about to learn the words expensive in a second and to say or so expensive, too expensive. So that's probably why. OK, so this one here is pronounced type type. It almost sounds like 2222 tight, tight bond. I'll just put that down here so we can marvel at that. Maybe we can see what it is. Actually, it's, um, in this character we have, we have. Plus, we also have this one here, The drop. So this is the character we confined. It's going to be quite easy to remember, because there's so few strokes in this one timings express excessive. And before I tell you more, I just want to give you just want to tell you that what we do is we say tie and then we say objective. And this, then would mean Teoh Thai Plaza. Adjective means Teoh means basically Teoh deuce Too much of something or too good. But it basically translates to or like to sorry to plus adjective, but it doesn't really translate to to it more translates to in what we would in English they so for So instead of saying while so pretty or while you're so impressive, Felix or Wah Wah wah, as they're saying all of those, you just say tight and then whatever the objectivist. So if something is too expensive, we can say tie and then whatever that is, expensive them in Chinese. Now, this word is going to be quite funny. Now we can listen to our mixing Chinese and English because that's what we'll be doing. A lot in this course is up. Fantastic. Uh, here we go. Listen to him, please. Before we listen to Ansari, I just wanna I read my script that I need to tell you about. This one is up because we have that in character in this one. And so, if you want to say as the first example here, while too big or so big, yeah, then we could just say tight and then whatever the adjective is in the in this case, stop, look. And this is easy now because these two characters look very similar type dolla, dolla. Fantastic. It's time. Bianca, my girl, it is very bright. He I've explained this characters. All I need to do now is show you another example Here is me saying holler in the video in an actual setting spontaneously Oh, hi ho, Hi ho little ah, just holla Holla! I'm dropped my food and maybe you don't want to see me Too much of me. Maybe you want to see a cute little Chinese person saying it instead? So here's a baby. Oh! 28. 736: Okay, So and we can say tie and whatever the objectivist Thai hot lot weaken say. And that is a very common one. Tie. Holla title. So good, Basically or just saying, like great, we can translate it to tie. Holla! Holla! No, I want to just say well, tie not so good. This would translate to not so good, but without and not too good, basically. But we know that we can translate the two here too, so instead to make it sound better in English. Otherwise it would sound a bit rigid. We can make this into longer sense. We can say my Chinese, not not too good. How would this sound in Chinese now? Well, this would sound something like what? The true one. And the way he's able Title note here that this bull is boo because this tie is type Wutai , huh? Whether to one pulled her house or the drawing board her, huh? That's a wonderful sentence. And if you can understand it, if you can even read it and write it, you should definitely be very proud of yourself. So yes. Take a moment now and just look at yourself in the mirror and go. Wow! Why? I'm amazing. I'm pie, huh? 29. 737: So we're about to say too expensive, so we'll keep this part in the bottom. But we'll get rid of everything else now to get there. We need to say when he was a this character, let me find it first. This one. This one actually means like money, but it's more used as a building block. It's not going to be used to say actually, morning, because then we have other words for that. It's only used as a building block for money. It almost looks like a guy walking around. Maybe he's covered. He's got. Maybe that's a sign for, like, a metaphor for four bodyguards of something because he's got so much money, This guy, he needs to be protected. So this character, by the way, it's pronounced, uh, Bay aunt. If you find that interesting, I'll tell you about later. You know, for now you don't need to remember it, But later on, if you realize that this might actually help me, then they go ahead and police remember this one because it's going to affect the pronunciation from any other character later on is up for one in this video, actually, already so this bay means money and we've actually seen it in one character already, which is toilet, which is very funny. Do you see the bottom character there? The on this character Here we have the It's like a roof or something. Andi. Then we have knife on the right side. But in the middle we have money. Maybe that you have to pay money to go to the toilet. Maybe it's a privilege to go to the toilet. Fantastic. So we have it in toilet. Therefore, I'll just add a little harsh tie here, but we also have it in the new character. So I'll just put these two here on the side. And now we're going to learn on this one. And it's not that a hashtag because it's New Quay Quay. This way means expensive, expensive so maybe not. We can see the correlation between things. Four turned away and it came from bay. So I think those are very very they're going to be more examples or more words later on that are affected by this base. So I would just suggest that you remember this one that you don't have to spend any time trying to remember just pronounce expensive because you already not say money. So money. It's always obviously quite obvious why money is in this thing here. And the top part actually is it is a sort of a book, but we're not going to talk about that one too much. It's basically just money. Plus, we'll call it a thing. The one on top so away it's pronounced us and it means expensive. Now, if someone if someone sees you and thinks all a foreigner Mike, and probably and cheat this person for lots of money, then you say Thai Quay remembers hard. Look at the end of your tie. Quella quella Tiglao Ayla. Fantastic. Oh, I heard that you're selling thing. Oh, yeah, that's why I got off. Um, can I flushing you with? Used to glue? Uh, manganese used Monday Ice cream. Oh, todo too expensive. Uh, Haas, is it
