This video is all about understanding the chessboard and the pieces on the board. Let's start with the board. You can see that they're a different rose labelling from 1 to 8 and also a different columns from a to age in chess Rose call ranks and columns, alcohol files. So this is actually the A file. This is the B fire and then the C five and so on. And we got this one is the first rank, and then we have the second rank, the third ranked fourth ring and so on. You can also see that the squares ah, alternating between dark color and a white color and each of the square has a different name. For example, this one, it's a D four square. Uh, the lettuce always come before the numbers. For example, this one is the F six square. Okay, Now that you know the squares on the board, let's look at the different pieces and try to name them. So we have these little guys here in the second rank. They're called ponds P a W n. And this piece right here is collar, rook, and this one is night or Ah, horse. You can call it horse. Everyone, this is a bishop. And we have the queen and the king and bishop and night and look okay. And the black, half the same pieces mirror toe white. And this is basically the starting position on the board. And how do you know if you're going to set it up at home? How do you know if you set it up, right? An easy way to remember is that the white Queen always sits on the White Square at the sound of the game. And the black Queen always sits on the the dark square. Okay, Alas, we will look at the value of the different pieces. We get the little guys here, the palms each worth one point. The rope is worth five points. And the night ISS three points. Bishop three, Queen nine. The King is the most important piece in the game, and it's worth a lot. Uh, some say it's indefinite value, and then we have three for Bishop. And then we have three for night and five for the book. Uh, in in the next video, I will show you how to move all of these different pieces and I'll see you the next one 3. Pawn Move: Hi, guys. Let's start with the ponds. Okay, Let's see how they move. If I click on any pond on the second round here, let's pick the coupon. If I click on it, you received these two dots. The's represent the legal moves. You can actually change them in the city to make them visible or not. I decided to make invisible for the sake off this video. So let's move them to places like this. No, uh, black has to move now before why can move again. Uh, after the first move, the only move I can make this part is one place up. It's very restrictive. This part cannot move anywhere else. It cannot move backwards. It cannot move to decide. It cannot move. The hacking on h is forward. Okay, let's try and you see, it can only move forward. And here, if there's something in front of it, the park cannot actually take this. The party can only take diagonally on the left here, on the right. Here. Let's see. Let's take on the left here. Okay, 4. Pawn: En Passant: Okay, so now that you basically know how the part moves, I'm going to show you a special part. Capture call on percent. It's better to show you. So let's start. I'm going to move my C two pond to see four. That's assume Black moves to see six like this. And then I keep moving C five. And if Black decides to play be five like this, then it's legal for me to move my Psi Phi Pon to be six and capture justice part on B five . So let's try it. This is basically the on person, however, in some other cases, it might not. But this is the only case that it works. OK, But in other cases, that's imagine I go up like that and then same scenario, I go like this, Uh, black goes like this and instead of capturing right away, I move something else like pon T B three, for example, and then black move something that I missed the chance to capture this be £5 so I cannot do this anymore. So am person must be done immediately after Black Place B seven to B five. OK, Another scenario is when I play C four and then black place in the house and in every S a C five. But Knight said like this and that black school both, uh, to be five like this I cannot take I cannot take. And even if black goes only one like this I cannot take So the only scenario where you can take is the beginnings in a road that I showed you like this and then you take So this is on person. 5. Pawn Promotion: So this is another special feature of cats, which is called pond Promotion. Let me show you if, uh, my paan gets, uh, to, uh, eight ranked. She's right here. Whenever upon which the eighth rank, it can promote itself to any one of these materials. Added the bishop, the rope, the night or the queen most often it's the queen because the most powerful but sometimes, uh, park and promote itself to a bishop or knight. Swell. Maybe because you have to check the king or you have, ah, definite purpose to one a night instead of the queen. So let's pick the queen, and that is basically upon promotion. Let's see the black promotion black gets to the first round. It can all also promote to any of the a piece of the four main pieces 6. Rook Move: Okay, so now let's look at how the rook moves. If I click on my book the white rook like this, you will see that the RUC can move toe any of this squares, Uh, horizontally on this. See fire. Oh, it can move to, uh, and the square on the fourth rank. Okay, let's try to move somewhere. Let's try here. And then this black rook can move horizontally or vertically anywhere. So that's trying. And then this route can actually move anyone like this. Okay, I see it. And if I move my rook over this look right here that it's a capture, that's how they look, moves. 7. Knight Move: Okay, so now let's see how the knights move. If I click on my night like this, these are all the legal squares that my night can move to. Okay, It's Ah, it's not that difficult. Let's see. Let's try to move it here. Okay? And if I click on the Black Knight, you can see this Legal squares. It's actually to this way and had one up or one down to this way. One left, one. Right. So it's ah, better to show you to just keep moving them around and you can see how the knights moved. Okay, like this, like this. This. So if I move my knight over the the black knight, that is captured, so that's how the knights move. 8. Bishop Move: Now, let's see how the bishops move. If I click on the white bishop like this, you will see that the bishop can move diagonally, Uh, to anyone. Let's try it here. And then the black. Let's move this one. You can see that they can move their only now noticed that if the bishop is on the dark square like this, this bishop and this bishop, then David, stay on the Black Square throughout the game cannot switch to the White Square and the bishop on the White Square. We'll stay on the White Square, Okay? That's how they move. And I feel moved him many different places that diagonally. Okay, if I move it over like this, it's capture. Okay, lets try. Move this down like this. I love this town. And if I move it over like this, it's capture and this Bishop and this bishop cannot ever capture each other because this day, on different squares. So that's how the bishop moves 9. Queen Move: next up, let's look at how the queen's move on easier, easy way to remember is that Queen's can move like bishops, plus rook together. So if I click on my white Queen here, you can see that it can move diagonally like the bishop, and it can also move like the RUK. So that's try moving here, and then this queen can do the same. Can move like the RUC diagonally I mean horizontally and vertically and also diagonally like this. So unlike the Bishop, which stays only on dark squares on the White Square, the queen can actually shift to the White Square and then and then try to move like Bishop and, uh, also moved back to the dock, square on and move like Bishop like that. If the queen moves over the other queen, it's capture. That's how the queen moves 10. King Move: Okay, So last but not least, let's see how the king moves. If I click on my liking, you can see that the King can move in this box. It can move one square away from its position in any direction. And because the king is such an important piece in the game, it needs a lot of protection in the beginning. And it's also one of the weakest ones in the beginning, but in the end is quite powerful. Now, one thing to keep in mind that the King cannot ever go close to each other. The king needs to be one square apart from each other. You see, when the king is facing each other like this, this king's legal move cannot come on. These three squares, they can only move here, and then this killing I can only move here or here so they cannot be next to each other. The two kings 11. King: Castling: Okay, so another cool feature in chest is called castling. It's a way in which you get your king to safety. For example, in this case, I can move the king. This is the king's first move. I can move to King two squares from E 12 G one like this. And once I do that the rook this which from age one to f one this is called King Side castling. Or sometimes we call it castling short because the king is closer to the ruk. Let's go, Kathleen Short Oh, King side castling. And on the black side, I assure you, the queen side casting this is longer. You see longer. So you move two spaces like this and the rope with which Okay, this is called Queen Sai Castling or Cassidy Long, uh, let's see some scenarios where, uh, you cannot castle anymore. For example, I moved, Let's say I move the king here, okay? And then the ah, Poland moves something like a 6%. And then I tried to move another one like this Advil Castle so castling can only be done with the King's first move. I think this also some, uh Let's say that I move my bishop here. Okay, That's cool. Here. And the bishop comes here. Oh, sorry. Bishop comes here. So now I cannot castle anymore because the bishop is actually blocking the way of the king , and so I cannot castle anymore. This is one way you, your opponent, can, uh, stop you from castling another. Another scenario where you cannot Castle is when, um, you are in check, for example, that spring. Uh, Chris, print this night up. Okay, let's go here. That's pretty. If if the night decided to check, that means the night is going to capture the king in the next move. So the king cannot castle anymore. The king needs to move like this. And what's the king moves. It loses the right to castle, okay? 12. Check: Hi. Everyone in this. Listen, we'll take a look at a concept in chest call. Check. If you have a typical game, let's say D four by playing my part d four the opponent their play Ah e six, for example. And then I decided to move my knight up t o f three if the opponent used the bishop to come to before like this. This is a check. A check is essentially when our king is under attack from the opponent pieces. And so the king needs to move. You see that? In this case we cannot move anything else. You cannot Ah, it just showing a less that your king is in check and you have to do something about it. And ah, a couple ways to do it. The 1st 1 is just to block the check with this pond to see three like this. And so now the king is not in check anymore. Ah, we can also use the night to plot like this Or we can use this night to go here. What? To go here? Well, we can use to bishop or we can also used to queen as well. Another scenario is when ah, for example, I play the three and then the bishop Check. Then I can simply move my king out of the way off this diagonal. Yes. So that this peace cannot capture my king. And in the last scenario that say, I play three and and the bishop decided to give a check, then I can simply use this pond to capture this bishop. So now my king is not in check anymore. Now also, remember that when you're king is in check, you lose the right to castle. Ah, unless you take out the the peace or you block with one of your pieces. 13. Discovered Check & Double Check: Ah, hello. In this video will take a look at double check and discovered check. In this first scenario, it is discovered. Check discovered. Check means that if I move my bishop here, for example, out of this e foursquare and move it somewhere else. That's a d five. Then my queen is actually checking the king. So this is called Ah. Discovered check. In this case, if I decided to move my push up and capture dishpan on B seven, then the Bishop, the bishop here. The black Bishop cannot recapture this bishop because the king is in check. So the black side has to do something to protect the King. Like move the bishop out. Oh, they can move. Ah, tonight on Oh, maybe moved the king out to block, and then it gives me the opportunity to take this rook. I'll take this, Bishop. In the second scenario, we have the king facing each other like this, and the rock is behind the king. If I actually moved the king out, if I step it aside to d three, this is also called discovered Check. Because right now the king is in checked by the RUC. The rope is threatening to capture the king so again to have to block using the bishop or the night or the Queen. In the last scenario, we'll look at double check in this case, if I move my knight Ah, to that state C seven or D six. Doesn't matter. This is called a double check. Because the night my night is checking the king and my queen is also checking the king. In this case, the king needs to move. This is a very powerful check. Double check because the king needs to move. And in this case, the black wing cannot capture the night because the queen ist They're checking. If let's say black has another piece like the night here that can capture the queen, then the the night here is still checking the king. So the only way to get out of this check is to move this Ah, king. And it allows me to capture this. Ah, look like this 14. Checkmate: Way To Win Chess Games: Hi. In this video I'm going to show you how toe win chess games. The first way to win chess games is to check, mate Your opponent and what that means is basically you attack the opponent, King, and make sure that your opponent can cannot move to ah safe square. So in this situation, the opponent King has Ah! 1234567 A available squares. But we concede that the queen takes away the square this square to square this wear in the square So the king cannot move to any of these because the Queen's our queen will capture the king. And also our king is controlling thes three squares so the king cannot move to any of these three squares And the RUK also controls these three squares. So if I move my bishop to chief for like this, this puts the king and check and the King cannot move to a safe square. Any square that the king moves to it will be captured by the the White Queen on the roof or the king in the next move. So this is considered losing in this situation. Ah, white winds. Let's look at Ah second situation here We have the king and our king here and we have the RUK You see that the rug is controlling all of the squares. So if I move my rook to G A like this this is also checkmate because now the room is controlling all of these Quest And my king is controlling thes three squares so that the king has knows this opponent King has no safe square to move to. So what wins again? In the third scenario, for example Ah, if I moved my queen to capture this bishop on d seven, this is check man as well because the king simply cannot take this queen. Because if the king takes to queen than the bishop can capture the king, it's and ah King cannot move to any safe squares. So this is check made and white also wins 15. Checkmate Basic: Queen + King vs King: Hello, guys. On Welcome to another section and game check mates. In this section, we go look at different scenarios where it is winning for wide. In this case, we have the white Queen and White King was his thinking. This is a village position for wine. And in order to force checkmate blacking, we need to force this king to the edge of the board either to the aid rank to the first rank to the A fire or to the age fire in order to checkmate. So, uh, let's start with moving the king. Now. When the blacking moves, we need to use the queen to force the king closer and closer to the edge of the board. So I removed to deform, and I have to keep moving t five and once taking richest hate rank, I simply moved to Queen to see seven. So that, uh, the king cannot come out off the eighth rank. And now I move my king up closer, Closer, closer. And now Ah, there are two ways to check made. The 1st 1 is to move my king to see a checkmate. The other one is to move my queen to F seven. Checkmate. 16. Checkmate Basic: 2 Rook + King vs King: hello and welcome to another. And game check mates. In this situation, we have two rooks. And why King were sister blacking again? We need to force the king to either the eighth ring, the the first rank, the a file or the age file to be able to force a checkmate. So first I'm going to play my rook to G three. Simple, then I'm going to Ah, Plame erupted, Disrupted Defour. Sometimes I'm still trying to forced the king to the back rank. It's cool. Yeah. Okay. Now, once the king is Ah, on the eighth rank. And I mean the 8th 5 Ah, the king can be forced checkmated first. I don't want the king to move to the G file. So I put my rook here to stop speaking from come into the cheaper and then I simply moved the disc ing out of the way. And then I give a check with this e three ruc and move it to a three. Check me 17. Checkmate Basic: Rook + King vs King: Hello and welcome to another. And game check, mate. This one is a little bit more interesting than last one with two rooks. Because now we only have one broke. We can also force check made as well with one Brooke, as you can see in disposition. Ah, the white and the Black King are facing each other. And so, in order to force the King to I would try to force the King to the eighth rank. And in order to do that, the king needs to be face to face reach, other like that. And then I'm going to give a check. C three like this. So when I give a check like this Ah, the safe square off the king. Here, here, here, here and here. Not available anymore. So the king are forced to go back two D either d four, e four or F four. So I'm going to give it checks at C three and then they say the king goes to T four in order to try to capture the rope. Now I can simply move my king next to look to protect the rope. No! Ah! The king might not go back to Ah, the fifth ranked looking my simply go this way. And so I moved my look all the way to the left. A three. And so this king has no choice but to continue with a four. If the king comes back to D four, then I can simply give a check. And then the king vehicle to ah, the fifth rank. So the king recently go to before and then I would my king would follow like this and the King would keep going and then I would follow can keep going. I follow. And then the king needs to come back. And then I can simply give another check because the King are facing each other. Simply give a check, a four and under. King moves back here and then I can move back. I can go here. But if I go to G three, Dender King will move to the laughing and I will move in under King, we will back. So it's gonna take a while. If I moved to s three then the king simply cannot come here because I would give another check with Ruk and the King will be forced to the six foreign So King vehicle H five and then my king will follow. And the king would come here. I give another check. Go here then a vehicle here and the king will come here, for example. Then I will move my rook all the way to decide. Now the Kings cannot come back because I'm going to give another check and they're before soothe seventh rank. So the king will go two d six and then my king will follow. And then this. I hope you can see the pattern here up and and then the king comes back. Given uncheck, go back here And then I go here and the king goes, Yeah, and then I move my rook all the way to you. Now this pattern repeats. Yeah, I hope you can see that the pattern repeats itself. So once the king get to the eighth rank, then it's the king cannot simply move back. What stood in ninth ranked? The King's simply needs to There's no more. There's no other safe square to move to. So it's simply cabinet. No, I want to mention Dad, Uh, there are faster ways to give a check made in Ah, disposition. But if you only learn what I just showed you, then you will be fine. Because it's not important how fast you can check, mate. It's important to know how to checkmate. And so if you know how, then, uh, taking a couple off 2030 moved. Checkmate is no difference than taking, uh, five or six moves to checkmate. I will show you. Ah, faster way to checkmate. Uh, let's continue. If the king comes to, uh, side to the age fire like this, I can simply move my rook here to trap the king on the age fire. And so, the only legal movies to move this way And then I will simply move my king up and the king will come back, and then I move it up like this. Then the king goes, And then I moved my room all the way back here, and now we get to the final position like I just showed you on the eighth rank. But now it's on the edge file. So the king needs to move. Uh huh. And my king follows. And so this is a much faster checkmate, but it's OK if you do it. Ah, the way I showed you before. Because that will guarantee that you will check made the black King. 18. Checkmate Basic: 2 Knights + 1 Bishop + King vs King: Hello, guys. Welcome to another end game check, mate. I'm sorry to tell you, Dad, if you have a king and two nights, then you cannot force checkmate on the blacking. You need at least another bishop to force. Checkmate. Okay, let's get started. Like all check missed. You need to force the king again to the corner. Either the eight rank a ring. I mean, the first ring, a file or the age file. So I'm going to bring my king closer to the blacking. Let's go just closer. Closer. Okay, lets go even closer. So now I don't want the king to get out off this eighth rank, so Ah, a couple off. Ah, options to do it. Either you get ah, the bishop out here to control this square. And you have to control also this this white squares. Well, if you control these two square stand, you will not let the king escape. And the king needs to stay here. So how do you control these two square in two moves? Because the king will get him into moves. So the 1st 1 I'm going to get my night here so that it will control this square. And when the blacking comes to the square, I will bring my bishop here to control the square. So let's do it. And then I will bring my bishop here. Control this way. So the king is to go back. And so I also need to watch out that the king might want to escape through here. So I need ah, my night to come here So that 10 control this square as well. Let's go now the king goes back. Um, that's just do awaiting Move this. So I'm trying to get the king to stop coming to the square. And one way to do it is to simply get a night somewhere. Maybe here too. Uh, protect this, this square so that the king cannot come. It's all about ah, trying out disposition and seeing in just working out how to really get this king to the corner. So I'm going to try give him putting my night back and then giving a check. So now I controlled this square. Ah, I control the square. But if I moved the king out like this, then this square is is not control. So I need to control the square. Swell. One way to do it is to bring my bishop all the way here to control the square. And now I can move my king closer like this. So now I have to control the square as well so that the king cannot just come back out. Thes two squares are control. Uh, this is controlled by my night. This is controlled by my bishop, so I only need to control the square. In order to do that, I just give another check here. And so now the king only has to moves to jump between the eight h A and, uh, G eight. Uh, so now I can praying my bishop a little closer, and then I can give a check with my night, and that's given unto check here. Let's give Ah, another check. And that is checkmate. 19. Checkmate Basic: 2 Bishops + King vs King: Hello, guys. And welcome to another end game check, mate. This is also a winning position for White. But it's important to note that in order for this to be over in a position, the two bishops needs to be on opposite squares. Meaning this is on the White Square and this is on the top square. If they're both on either the dark or the White Square, then you cannot force checkmate this blacking like all other check mates in the end game, you have to force the king to other day eight ranked the foot rink, the a file, or the age farm, the corner off the board. So in order to do that, I'm first going to bring my king closer to the blacking. That's print closer. So, in disposition harboring my bishop, you and then you. Okay, so now that King goes on there a file, then we bring our king even closer. Now notice dead. If I have my bishop here and I have my bishop here guiding this square, this bishop and this bishop guiding discordant the square So all of this quest are guided. And my king guys thes three squares. So the King cannot actually move to this corner. So I'm going to force sticking to move to this corner because the king needs to be in one corner in order to force check made. So this is what I'm going to do? I'm just going to play my bishop to say, um that just bring it out. Um, because I don't want the king to come out here. So I need I need to keep my bishop on this diagram. So I'm gonna play here and now I'm going to bring my bishop all the way down here so that the king cannot come to the square. No. So I'm slowly forcing the king to this corner. Now the king is trying to escape through this. So in order to not let the king escape, I just moved my king and put it in front off the black ink. If this king comes back, then I simply give a check like this when I give a check. Uh, he squares are all controlled by my bishop, and so the king needs to move back. So let me give a check. The king is to move back, and then I can simply give another check like this. And then I move the king closer. So now the blacking only has two squares to move between a seven and ah Ah. So let's try to give a check made. The king is good here and right now, if I move my ah bishop here, it would be a stalemate because I'm not actually checking the king. And the king will not have the safe 87 square to move to. So I need to wait for the king to come to a seven first and then ever show you how to check made. So I would just ah do like the waiting move. I can move this bishop anywhere. Let's say I move it back here for one like this, and then the king. When the king comes back, I can simply give a check. Ah, d four like this. And then when the king goes back, I can give another check, and this is checkmate. I hope you understand how you can force a checkmate on the King using two bishops off opposite colors 20. Winning Position: Pawn + King vs King: Hello, guys. Welcome to another endgame. Check made. Ah, indisposition. We have a single pond, and the white king and the blacking now pawn endgames are really ah, difficult to learn. This is a simple one, and this is actually a winning position for wine. But there are multiple positions where it's actually a draw, where black and simply ah created draw out of the position. But luckily in disposition, it's winning. So the first rule, in order to win this end game, you're trying to get dishpan up and promote to the age rank. But in order to do that, you need to put your king in front off the pond. The yoking cannot be behind upon. So let's try. I'm going to go to de for. And then I'm going to put my king in front of the pond, and when the blacking moves to moves on one side, then I simply move to the other side. And then I will come back, facing in front of the pond and facing the blacking. And when the king moved to one side, I simply moved to the other side and then I will do the same and no saying and now I can simply bring my partner. Now, if I bring my pawn up again, the king will simply take So I can just bring my king back and facing the blacking again and bring to pawn up now. And my king is to be in front of the pond that the king goes to D eight. So I simply go to the other side and it's time to push my part. So this is winning. That's Ah, promote Queen and then bring the queen closer to the king. Bring my King Cosa closer, huh? Closer, my king in. Then I simply couldn checked here. Checkmate. Now, in the next video, we'll look at Ah pond and game position where it is not actually a win, but it's only a draw. 21. Drawn Position: Pawn + King vs King: Hello, guys, and welcome to the last video in this section and game check mate. However, this is not a checkmate position. It's actually a drawn position. This is the same position as the last of the last video, but I'm playing black and instead, off its Weitz turned to move. Now it's blacks turned to move and in the last video, in order to win wide, must come in front of the King two d four like this. But because what is not moving and it's Blackstone to move. Black can initiate the move to go in front of the king instead. And that is the secret behind making this a drive position. Then I would come back. It's really important here that you see now that the white King is not in front of the pond . It's actually behind upon, and this is good, and the most important move here, if you want to draw the game, is to move your king back to see a and not back to any of the other position back to see a that's try. And when the king decided to come to T six, then I initiated the move from the beginning is to put my king in front of the White King. Always when I come back, I come back to see a and not to the other square. If I decided to come back, not to see eight, but to let's say B a o. D eight. Then it is a losing position because because if I come to be a then the king, this king can initiate the move. Putting himself in front off my king, Not my king initiated the movement, putting myself in front of the king. I hope you understand, But let me try coming to be a now. This is a losing position. You can see now you see that this king initiated the movement, putting itself in front of my king. Now the only way to movies. Susan back to see a on when he pushes the pond. Then I have to move out here. And then when the king comes now it's a losing position for Black. So it's important to no dad in disposition. I always come back to see a and not any other move. If if I come to d eight, it's also losing. So this is really important for you to understand. And I hope you can win pawn endgames 22. Time Constraints: Hi in this lesson will take a look at time constraints Interest. Right now I'm on chestnut calm. And if I go to play and I click on life chest, you will see that Ah, test the chessboard. And if you go here, you can see it's 10 minutes If I click to scroll down more These are all the time constraints. 10 minutes means that each opponent has 10 minutes five minutes means 53 minutes three minutes each 15 10 means that each Saad has 15 minutes and every time you move you get 10 seconds added to your clock. For example, If I go to the 15 plus 10 tankless train and then I click on play Okay, so you're in this situation The the white opponent has 15 minutes and now it's white turned to move Once the white move this time stops and my time stops And every time I move Ah, 10 seconds will be added to my clock See 12th added And whoever who who's ever as time goes down to zero Ah, that side will lose the match 23. Resignation: Hi and welcome. This is Ah continued lesson from the last one. But I want to focus on these two buttons right here. The 1st 1 is draw this. If you click on this one, that means you offer a draw. And if you click on the design but ended, that means you agree to loose the game. So for the sake of this video, I'm going. I'm going to click on design and you will see that there are the ah opponent bone by resignation. 24. Stalemate: Way To Draw Chess Games: Hello. And in this lesson we'll take a look at a concept cause stalemate. This is basically a draw and chest where nobody wins. If you look at this situation that's supposed that, I move my bishop to H five. You can see here that it's a stalemate stem. It means that uh, the opponent King is not in check. But at the same time, the opponent King do not have a safe square to go to. In this case, this square is controlled by our queen also by our Queen by our queen and the Rook and Bishop controlled by the RUC controlled by the rope. And the king, controlled by the King and Queen controlled by the King in this square is controlled by the queen as well. But you can see that the opponent King is not in check. And since the opponent came, do not have a legal move then Ah, it is considered a stalemate and nobody wins. Let's look at ah second situation in this case, let's assume I go be seven to check the King weakness and the king moves to corner. If I decided to move my king then you can see It's also stamen, meaning that the square is controlled by the king and the rock, the squares controlled by the rope. But the rope is not checking. The king and the king cannot move out Off off this. So this is actually a draw. The white is not winning. If you look at the another situation we're after opponent came here. If I move my queen to say F six, then it's also stalemate because this is controlled by my queen. Controlled by the Queen controlled by the Queen and the King, this control by the king. This is controlled by the queen. But the king again, it's not in check. And the king do not have us a square to go toe. And so this is a draw. 25. When It's Not A Stalemate: Hello, guys. In this lesson, we have similar situations to the last one. I just added a black pond here. If, for example, I'm move my bishop to H five like the last lesson, it doesn't appear that it's stalemate because even though the blacking does not have a safe square to move to, the black side has won legal move, which is to move this pond up to a five. And and even if I tried to move this one back, the king still does not have a safe square to move to. But the black side has won. Legal move again is to move this pawn up. So this is not stalemate. It's actually winning for one checkmate in the second situation. Similar position I just added upon, uh, if I move for my king here, you see that the black King does not have a safeguard to move to. But that's one legal move, which is dishpan up to age five. If there's no legal move, then it is Kanis. Term it. If there iss a legal move that black and makes then it's not a stalemate, that situation similar to the last video, let's say I moved The king in the blacking still doesn't have say square to move toe, but still has upon it can move, so it's not stalemate, and this is checkmate. 26. Stalemate: Perpetual Check: Hi. In this video, we'll look at a concept core. Perpetual check. This is also a draw in check in dysentery. Oh, I am playing black. And as you can see, the white Hess a lot more materials. And if you look here, why is up by plus 14? And so one way I can get a draw out of this position is to give a check here on H three. And so the only legal move for the King is to move to G one, and then I move tg three and give another attack. The king moves back, and then I give another check. Then I keep checking. So this is game over game drawn by repetition. So basically, if you keep checking and the king moved back and forth like this, it will be a draw. 27. Stalemate: 3 Fold Repetition: Hi. And in this video we'll talk about threefold repetition, which is another way to draw. I'm going to use the same example asked. Ah, but that your check. So the rule off the 34 repetition says that the game is a draw when the same position occurs three times. So if you look at this, that said this is the first position, everything stays the same. Okay, if I give a check and then I give a check again, this is the same position as the beginning. So we have two of the same position and we have the same position happening twice. And then I give a check again and I give a check again. This is the same position the third time. So it's s game drawn by repetition. This is basically the rule off the threefold repetition. 28. Playing with: Computer Level 1: Hello, guys, and welcome to the next section off course. I think this is a more interesting section because you get to see me playing chess games. I'm going to start with playing computer level one. And if you go to chest dot com, there are two ways to play the computer. The 1st 1 If you go to Ah, play and you choose computer, then you can start playing, and you can choose the different levels from 1 to 10. Uh, if you choose to play with computer this way, then there will be no time constraints. But I want you to start getting used to playing with time. Strange. So I'm going to go to play and click Life chest. And here you can see the different type of strains and you can choose versus computer. But you choose versus computer, then the computer. Different levels. Of course, my level is 16 20 so first computer level is a little high 900. But when you're just starting out, I think your computer level one is around 600. Maybe so. She was computer level one. Then it's important to choose, uh, disc Amos. Unrated If you choose it. That's rated, and you lose two game. Then your point will go down. So I'm gonna go with unready, and I have a choose the time missed 10 minutes with without any added time. When you move, I stress you to at least try to get her 10 minute games because it issues five minutes or three minutes. So even one minute it's too short and, you know, have enough time to think preferably. If you have enough time, you should choose 15 minutes or more with 10 seconds increments. Is this a good option? But I'm just going to show you a 10 minute game. Okay, Uh, we can stop. Okay. Uh, generally, when you start became a chest, you want to get your pieces and control the center. So I'm going to move my party four and controlled this square right here, this square, and and I'm going to move my party for again to control these two squares. Okay, Uh, next I'm going to develop my piece, maybe window Bishop Bob, in the end of the Bishop. Bob, I'm not too worried about if the opponent plays a lot of pawn moves. These are usually not very strong in the beginning to play a lot of ponds. It's better to bring the night, our push, some pawn here and bring the bishop about things like that. So I'm goingto playing that night, huh? And now I'm going to print my king to safety, which is castling. Okay, Uh, usually, it's not recommended to move the king Our like this in the the first few moves of the game because the king loses the ability to cancel later on, which is not very nice. In most cases, I'm going to keep pushing my partner. Okay, this is ah, very wasteful. Moved to smoking, moving the king back and forth and, uh, canceling your right to Castle. We're to keep developing. Now. This bishop is attacking my night on C three and my night already has a defender be to but generally, uh, if that say, the bishop takes my night and I take with my Ponte, then I will have on the part on C three and apartment See, for these are called double punts, which is usually not very good when you get toe a little higher level. So I'm just going to defend my night with my queen. When I moved my queen up to see to like this. I also connect my rook and the rocks are stronger when they can communicate with each other . So I don't like to bishop here, so I want to kick the bishop back. I can do that by just pushing my upon up. I wonder if this, uh, the bishop, this bishop is worth three points and my partner's only with one point and opponent did not move the bishop so I can simply capture with my pond. You can see, uh, here that I captured the bishop, and it's plus three. This means that I am ahead by three points. Also, I think Spawn is free to capture because, uh, Despont only has this road past the defender. I have one attacker, two attacker and three Attackers, so I can simply take with my rook. Okay, Um right now I can have a cup. Options may be I can push this pond. Uh, because to attack this night, because once the night moves away, this rope does not have any defender, so I can simply take this room, and this rope is worth five points. So let's try and see. Uh, what? Back to Okay. So black doesn't move this night away. I can simply take. And also, I can simply take this, uh, night with one of my ponds, because night, over three points of parts. I was only one. So I'm going to take this night first because, uh, this rock still has no defender. And this night, uh, it was still have to move. I'm going to take attacking my night, I decided. Still pinned. So I'm just going to move back my night Safe square. Okay, now I can take this night. Uh, this rope is defended by my night and my queen, so I can simply just keep taking and keep taking it. I'm going to go, queen. Uh, Now I'm going to bring my peace is maybe a little bit closer to the action. Maybe bring night up. And this pond, whole new has one defendant now because the queen move away. So I'm going to put my rocking to try to attack this pond. And the black allowed me to capture this point. So I'm going to capture with my rook. I want to exchange look, because once your winning material. You want to take a lot off the You want to exchange a lot of the material so that in the end you are left with more materials, and it's easier to win. Okay, uh, this bishop is protected by this pond, so I'm not worried that the queen will take two special and the two options I can simply no three options. I can simply take this pond. I can do nothing and let upon Despont take my pond here, or I can simply move it up one square. Um, because I'm just going to take this look and then I want to exchange Queens because I'm winning by a lot of material. And if I take this Pont and my queen is already protected that by this bishop so I can offer queen trade. So no Queen Train. I can offer another queen trade. If I moved my queen here because it's protected by my night. Let's try, okay? And then I can simply take about. And now I can bring my Are the RUC out of the way here in order to try to check? But no. Now I'm going to put my rock on a seven. Why? Because when I put my rock on day seven, I can in the future move my night out of the way and give the king a check that the king keeps moving. I'm going to bring my, uh, night up again. Okay, so now I can take this paan and give a check. The tingle. I can move, uh, the night out of the way and check the king. I'm going to take this pond kick. Um, if I move this night hard to be five, then this night will protect this night. And it's also a check. And let's see where the king goes. If the king goes back now, because I'm up a lot of materials, I'm going to give a check by DARPA and a here. And when the king moves away, I'm going to exchange this rook. I'm going to take this. And then, despite its for you to take now in the end, usually the king, uh, is very powerful because you have a lot off. Um, Did you? I mean, you don't have a lot of materials left. Maybe you're up by only a bishop and and I but now I have a lot of material, so I'm just going to move faster. Watch out for my time. Only have one a minute and 20 seconds. So I'm going to show you part promotion. I'm going to push this part up. I'm not worried about just partaking because I can simply take back with my king. Okay, I'm going to move up, and then I'm going to take the queen. I'm going to give a check here, then to give another truck on another check here, which is checkmate. Okay, so now you know how to play and defeat computer level one in the next video, we'll look at how you can, um the feet, computer level two. 29. Playing with: Computer Level 2: Hello. And in this video we will play computer level two and the time constrained and I'm going to choose is 15 minutes game with 12th increments. Do you concede that my rating changes because the 15 minutes plus 10 seconds increments is a rapid game and ah, 10 minutes game just ah, blitz game. So we have two different ah, ratings. And I don't really play a lot off the 15 plus time minutes because it just takes ah a lot longer to finish each game. So let's get started. Okay, I have to first move, so I'm going to control the center like the last video. So I'm going to do d four now. This night comes up and attack my palm so I can either bring the night out to protect or I can pushed upon. That's just praying the night out. I do this because I want to bring this bishop out before I move my partner up. Because if I move my pawn up now, have you blocked two special pin and I usually like my bishop outside instead, off inside and blocked in. So now I'm going to push my bishop and then I'm going to reinforce this Despont by having an extra defender. Uh, let's continue bringing my bishop heart and developed. You see again, uh, opponent is doing a lot of pond moves, which, uh, it's not very good. In the beginning, I can bring my king to safety. That's Castle. And bring the night out. Keep developing. Bring the queen out and connect the rooks now. Ah, when I when I practice night out like this sometimes it's not very good, because the night actually blocks this pond from moving up. Sometimes you want to bring this pawn out first and then bring the night out behind upon Ah , Now this Pontus attacking my bishop, the only way to escape that is to bring it back to G three. Okay, so now I can maybe stop pushing some ponds on the side. Or maybe put the book on a more ideal square. Maybe I will bring little out here just to see what they're trying to do. No, uh, we always need to think about what the opponents conduce next. So if the opponent in the next move bring the pond up here to H four, then my bishop is actually, uh, going to be lost because there's no safe square to move anywhere. I moved. I will have to exchange one pond, which is only one point for my bishop, which is three points. So one way to do it is just to push this pond up one square. And if the black moves up like this, th for, then I can simply tuck my bishop back on this age two square. So I'm going to do that. So now this night is attacking my bishop and my, uh, fun on C two and pawn on C. I mean, a two, but these are protected, but I don't like the night. Ah, here. So I'm going to kick it back now. Ah, that attacking my night. So I can either take this pond with my part on h three. Oh, and I can I can move this back here and see what happens. But if I move my, uh, night back here, then I will block my bishop from ever talking back in knowledge to. So in this case, I'm just going to take Okay, uh, the black recognizes that the night is in trouble and moved back. So I can keep taking this pond right here because I already take one pond, which is one point in another part for another point. So in theory, it's advantageous for me, but, ah, sometimes it's not very good too half the pond going too far. This part thes three parts are really important to protect the king. So my king is a little bit of wheat now, but that's OK. That's, uh that's just pushed this part up. Try to control a little bit of the center, huh? You see, now that I am up by £2 but dishpan is unprotected, and the real can actually take Despont anytime it wants. But right now, I cannot find a way to protect this part. So I'm just going to, uh, maybe pushed this pond up. Just see some action. Okay. Night. That's just take hampering my card. To be one must bring my pond. Um I mean, my bishop here may be exchanged with the night because I don't like to play with a lot of pieces on the board. It's quite difficult to play. Okay, that's I don't want to exchange with this black Bishop because this bishops actually a lot of weaker then, my bishop, because it is very restricted right now. But if I don't take than this pond behind me is going to be lost. So maybe, uh, I just bring it back here. Let's go in front of King Glyptis. It's always good to do it. Spring my night bank work. Take pick again. Okay, Now I want my rocks to be standing on, uh, opened fire so I can bring my rookie year. That's pre my night here. Okay, now what to do? What to do? I don't seem to have a concrete plan. I sprained my night here and attacked the bishop. Maybe try to, uh, exchanged some pieces. Okay, that's exchanged the pieces because you can see that I am up by three points. So it's always good to change pieces. We call it simplifying the game. No, that's push. Okay, The king moves away because if he takes and I take back then I would be checked. I will be checking the kink. And when the king moves, I will take this Bishop. But right now I can still take this, Bishop. Okay. Uh, let's try to double up to ruk meaning? Okay, uh, this part is one point. This is three points and the rockets five points. So if I take the RUK and I lose upon an official my own, it was four points and the black rose five points. So in this case, I'm not too worried about losing this part right here, because not very important. So I'm just going to bring this part up and try to promote next move. Who? Okay, my rope is worth five points. This her This coin is worth nine. And the queen decided to sacrifice itself to take that pond Cem's gonna take now that I have Ah, a lot of materials I can play for win in the next couple wolves. Let's try giving a check here. And now that this night does not have a defendant I can simply take. And then if you concede e a p m having if you can spot a checkmate, then it's really good the two ways I mean tool that I can see the 1st 1 is simply to take this night on BH. Checkmate. Another one is to simply checked like this. So I'm going to do this and checkmate So I went by checkmate, and that's it for this video. In the next one, we will play a computer level three. 30. Playing with: Computer Level 3: Hello, guys. In this video, we will play computer level three, which is rating around 1100 10. 41. I'm going to play a 15 minutes plus 10 seconds increment. Unrated. Then I'm going to play black. Okay, let's get started. Okay. Now, the computer made a really good first move. Uh, t four, This is very common opening, and I'm just going to play D five. Okay, I'm going to bring my night. Huh? Uh, this pond is already protected by the king, so I'm not too worried about it now. And I don't want to block in my bishop by playing E six. So I I'm going to print my bishop out first and then play 86. I'm going to bring, huh? This bishop out as well during the night out and castle. And that's moved to clean up. Once based, let's see what to do now, Now, let's bring this night. I want to put this in front of the king under King that it's not what happens if White Place key for then I, uh this special GOP locked in how I can simply bishop t four, which is okay, So that's actually that's his push. Just one, huh? To keep this night from coming to she five and then I'm going to bring this one back. I think this sometimes it's good to have the bishop. Just high end is diagonal because sometimes pieces will go on this Tavano and I can simply take So now cream that night. Push up. Let's break this. Okay, I said, I can simply push. I can take. Let's see. Let's see what to do. That's push. Okay, I can simply take back knights and bishops over three points. So I'm not losing that. I'm still I have one bishop and the computer has my night. It's pushed. Okay, if somehow I can get my night here, I can do a double attack on this part. Let's bring my night back here so I could bring it here and tried to attack this part to bring the night out and defend, which is again, a good move. Let's try. Let's try pushing this part up one square and then bringing the bishop down here to trip or the attack on this. But you know that Why can't simply play this one arthritis, so I should bring the look here and try to push this part up. Pushed a part of so that, uh, that's pretty. This one, huh? Bring the bishop back. So now I can actually take this part. Okay? I can take the queen. I can take again. Vis. Efficient. So now I win by one point, I went upon know what to do. I don't want to take here because that will break my Panchen. And I like to have upon across diagonally like this because these parts can help each other . Didn't can They can protect each other, which is good. I take then this part can no longer protect this plant. So but a spring the bishop back for now. And that's just push up. Bring the quote. Looking up. Let's try to break. Okay. Now the respondents attacking my bishop, I can simply bring the bishop practice. Keep pushing. Bring, uh, king up. Keep pushing, and I could take And you see now that this is, uh, open fire. So it's always good to have your rock on the open fire because your looks can a stronger are open class. I can bring my look here to pin the night, so that, then I cannot move anymore. But I left this hanging, the pond clinging. So now everything is equal. But let's see what I can do. Now let's attack this look. Protect my patient. Uh, interestingly, if I put my bishop right here No, I cannot do that. Um, let's put my robe on and often file again. That's pretty my mess. Bring my bishop here, Here to attack this pond. Okay, so the rope decides to sacrifice. Um, Now I can take this rook instantly, but I can also use this bishop to take this part and give a check. And when the king has to move, then I take the RUC than ever win despond. If I simply take this rook, then the white can't simply play like Bishop here. Oh, Bishop here or they don't look here to protect this point. So I can actually take this part first and I can actually take and give him another check. And then I take the rule. No, I'm winning by three point. Which which is he got to, uh, Knight or Bishop? Let's bring my look back to an open fire. And now I can try to attack this pond. I can give a check. Let's try toe. Let's give a check first. Now that the king goes back in, that means distant. I cannot move now. I can attack the Okay, Uh, let's push. It's, uh keep pushing. No, I can simply do a double attack on this, uh, night by bringing my rook here and also exchanging the ruk. But if this really captures my rope than I can moved this pun and captured her look and promote myself into a queen Let's try. Okay, So, uh huh. If I take this room right now, then I will lose this part because the the night can simply take the pond so I can do a couple things. I can use this part to take the night first. Oh, I can give a check or something. I think take the night First would be a good choice. Okay, that I can promote myself to whatever That's that's Picone. Other work. Then I could give a check, give another trick. That's print. Uh, Brooke here somewhere. Just take take Now. If I do this, it will be checkmate. Okay. Thank you for watching. And I'll see you in the next video with computer level for 31. Playing with: Computer Level 5: Hello, guys. And welcome back in this video, I'm going to play computer level four. But as you can see, the ratings a little. It's strange because it keeps changing. So I'm just going to play with computer level five, which is 1276. Also a 15 minutes plus 10 seconds increments. Carla Random. Okay, let's stop. I have black. So this time I'm going to Fi and Cano, my bishop, which just means that either bringing this pond on the P rang up. I mean, not gonna be right on the sound. Bring up this. People are bring this cheap on up and bring the bishop. And so I'm going to do that to break the ship. Going to push this up? Praying the night are Castle? No, I don't take I can take again. Bring the night here because this party is attacking the night I can take. It's pushed. I do this because I want to keep protecting this part right here. Okay. I can just simply take neck now. Right now, I am winning upon plus one point. I'm gonna double like this. Okay? You see that? This bishops pin and this Bishop cannot move because the king is behind and I have two Attackers, and they have the two defendants, so I'm going to keep attacking this. Okay? This is a free pond I can actually take. Okay, So if I used to, uh, bishop to take, then the only way. I mean, uh, this Bishop only has one defender, huh? Okay, What to do? What to do? If I moved this Bishop pound, then my queen is lost. So it's push. That's helped my bishop. So now I should bring the queen out of the way, in fact, them up by five point. So it's advantageous for me to try to exchange pieces. Okay, on DWhite agree to exchange queen. So now let's exchange rocks. Yeah, let's exchange looks, Um, I would like my rook to be on this open fire, but now they're the white Lucas on the open first. So maybe not now. Maybe I can true. Now remember that my king is safe Even if my rope is not here. Because my king, if this rook checks my king here, I can simply just move up to G seven and everything is ok if I don't have this part moving up like this. Then if the this rook checks, that would be, ah, check made and we call it her back rank. Checkmate. So let's bring my rook up here. No, I can go after this pond. I simply think I can go after the the night. Okay. I can't seem to take the night. I can take this pharmacy and bring this point up for promotion to take the queen. And then I could seem to take back now, this is, uh, almost certainly winning for me. I want to attack this pond. But this part cannot move because it moved. The king will be in the attack. This part is pinned down and I have one attacker. I want to double the attack on the part. I simply give a check and then I can give another check. Um, now this book is protected, so I'm not really wanted. Has bring my king up. It's been the king up again. Simply take back king up. It's, uh, now, in this situation, you have to be careful not to create a stalemate situation. If let's say I bring my rope and I drop it here or you have to make sure that the king has at least one legal move to move. Because if not, then the game will be a trough and not a win. I can give a check. Mm. Ever I can take. And then the king has won legal move, which is here. Take that. The students that spring the year and bring the bishop out here. You has to give a check. What do you want to do? Definitely. I can give a check. Here. Check me. Okay. Thank you for watching. 32. Playing with: Beginner Online Player: Hello, guys. And in this video, we will go through an online game with on actual online player. Uh, I decided to use my old account, which was a long time ago, and it happens that my reading. So it's only 723. So this is good. This is beginner level reading, and I'm going to play 15 minutes plus 12th increments game and let's find an opponent. Okay, Johnny Tragic 800. I'm going to start with controlling the center. Got Defour. Let's see how he responds. Now, you see, because this Ah, 12th increments. Every time I moved 10 seconds added to my club that the Cambria Auto Board Okay, support. So let's try a new 50 minutes past 10 games. Deter tooted Teoh. Okay, now we have I d g one. I'm going to play to you for again. All right, on going to bring my bishop out. Just developing and also controlling your square so that this problem cannot move to this way. Okay. You moved, Uh, queen? No. I'm just going to push this pawn up so that I can bring my other bishop out a good plan in the beginning off games should be to try to bring the night our print of Bishop Heart and Castle the king so that you can bring looking to safety. Okay, I'm just going to put my patient. Let's see what, uh, I d g one is going to do next move, I think next move. I'm either going to bring this night out. 23 here. All right, so now I have a couple of different options I can either take. I don't want to take because thes two ponds in the center, uh, strong. So maybe artist play C three so that if this part capture, I can capture back and I my part of my 200 million center. Okay, Now I can I can just bring my bishop back to see to bishop is worth a lot more than this pond next movement going to bring my night out, and then I'm going to castle my king the night by the go to AC three, or he to, uh, both, uh, good options, I think. All right. So, uh, he's pushing a lot of ponds in the beginning. That's not a very good, uh, strategy. Usually, I'm just so I'm going to bring my night out on next move. Maybe I'm going to Castle. But if I castle, then, uh, my opponent might push his pond. Okay, so now I I will Custom. It's not a problem, because my opponent only has his queen, and not enough is up. Pieces are developed, so it's not too dangerous yet. I recommend if you have time, try to play 15 minutes plus 12th England Games because, uh, it's there's a lot more time to think, and it's just better for improvement. So I'm going to keep developing. Bring my night on now. It's not good to play multiple moves with same piece. In the beginning, you were tried toe. You want her? Bring your pieces out into the game. Next move. I'm thinking maybe bring this part up to be three and try to exchange. Okay. I'm not too worried. Uh, what should I do? I can actually bring this night he and tried to attacked this queen a little bit. Let's do it. Let's bring my night out here and attacked this queen If, uh, despond decide to push up to age three here, then I can simply push this cheap on up to t three and just, uh, not take, because if I take the file in front of my king will be open. Okay? This night is well guided. So now I can actually give a check here, but if I give a check, it's gonna block. Hey, that what to do, What to do? Maybe maybe just exchanged this piece here. I'm I'm OK. Now you see a three. So I'm just going to push this up. This pond cannot move to G five to attack my, uh All right, OK, that spring, the night back here. And if black pushes Despont here, I can simply take because my bishop has nowhere to go, so I can simply click the night. Okay. Uh, let's take here. Ah, Now maybe I want to attack this. Okay. I'll just bring my rook out to an open file, so because it looks that stronger here, Okay, my night has to say square, I can either go here to page four or come back. That's see. Let's see what to do. I can just go here because, uh, rocks are was five points and nights of with three, so I don't think my opponent will with captured its knight. Oh, so he sacrifices night. I mean, his rock for my night. I'm just going to take back. Okay, now I can just attack because the queen is trying to check made me here. If the king at the Queen comes here to be checkmate so I can just push the but doctors because this will be guided by my night. Yes. You were this queen vehicle. I think the queen will come back. Yeah. You see, this piece is not, uh it's only, uh okay. Sorry. Okay, Now, when the queen moves like this, this pond, it's actually not defended, so I can actually take with my night. I'm just trying to check this here. This and the potential tactics. I don't think so. I could stake. Okay, now, I think a good option is to bring this bishop all the way back to each one, because that will protect the potential check made here. Oh, I can just get my night here, too. Harassed this queen for a little bit first. That can do that. Oh, I can clean the bishop back. Let's see, because this spring the I think, Let's let's ah, attack first and then I'll bring my bishop back. My king is a little exposed. This is not the safest situation you want to be in. So I have to be a little careful and, uh, don't try to blunder anything. Blunder just means make a mistake. Um, I'm going to give a check. This is actually a really nice tactic. Because if I checked here, then the king cannot move out here because this is where the night moves. I mean, then I can move here. And so you have to block or move here at the King. Moves here after I give a check. Then I have another checking. And when the queen with my night or if the block I can't just give another check. Okay. Let's see. I think this is winding of peace because, yes, you can see my night this guarding this bishop. And so the queen cannot take either because the queen is worth nine points and each of these is only worth three each. So that two options one. The king should move here and the other one is to block when you block. I can't simply give another check. So I think this is losing black that it's one of the disadvantages off not bringing your pieces up. Because if you if you bring your pieces up, uh, that I could give a check, I can give a checking and I can win the the Queen. Okay, I can take and I only lose one piece. Now, it's better for me to bring this all the way back to guide my king. Okay? Now, I can simply take because I'm winning material. I'm winning by nine. Uh, now, that's bring my queen down to see to try to attack this upon. Of course, Aiken, Uh, keep pushing, and I will try to find, uh, um aren t fire so that I can put my rook now another black starts to develop the pieces. Let's give a check and it black takes. This is loose. I can simply take the rope. So my goal right now is to simply exchange material because, um, vending by a lot. So the more material, like an exchange the better. Okay, I can actually give a check here because, uh, this queen is cutting the pond so I can give a check and wind eternal. I think this. So this part is actually checking the king, and this is called a double attack. You're attacking the king, and you're attacking the RUC. And the King cannot take this part. So I can simply take this rook now. Why? I mean, what is just winning by a lot? No, I just want to show you that ratings at around 800 basically reading below 1000. Ah, players at this beginning level tend to make a lot off mistakes and blunders. Like like you just saw. So I can simply take here. And then that's double my rook. No, not up on my rectum. I wrote with my queen so that I can give a check made in a couple of moves. All right. I can't give a check here. If I give a check all the way here, then then I can simply take, but I can give it back here first. Okay, Um, no, I can simply just take the pond. But I have a lot of material, so I don't really have to care too much about the this pond I can simply try to check, made him and let's try this. Let's bring my look up. No, because this is guarded by this bishop, so I cannot give a check here. Um, has tried to find a checkmate. Okay, that students nets, Brenda. Part of gonna give trick. Okay, I'm just going to double my broke next move. I'm going to bring this. I'm going to give another truck here. This is actually losing. Now. I think I can give it a chance like this, and I think it's Ah, Check made. Next move. The king will have to move here. It's simply checkmate. You can do a lot of different tripper. This is the one I see. Check me. Okay. Thanks for watching. And I hope that ah, he wants a rematch. But for the sake of this video, I'm not going. Teoh. Give him every much I think he will loose again. Uh, reading it 800 tends to make a lot of mistakes. So thank you for watching. And have you tried to upload more videos like this so that you can learn how to play with beginners with players at your level? Okay, good luck. And I will see you in the next video suit. Thank you.
