In this class I share with you my favourite hot drink recipe. This is easy to make and in the lessons I show you step by step how to do it.

This is delicious, warming, sweet and healthy drink that works perfectly on winter time.

Best when made from organic and whole ingredients.

Chaga Chai recipe (2 servings):

Phase 1 - Tea base:

3dl water

3 chaga pieces or 1 tsp of powder (You can find Chaga from healthfood stores or online)

(Pieces can be used five times and powder twice)

1 cinnamon bark or 1/4 tsp of powder (Bark can be used for tree times)

1/4 vanilla pod or 1/4 tsp of powder (Pod can be used three times)

5 small cardamon pods or 1/4 tsp of powder (Pods can be used 1-2 times)

3 thin slices of fresh ginger or 1/8 tsp of powder (Use only once)

  • Prepare spices
  • Combine spices and Chaga with water
  • Boil for 15 minutes without lid
  • Strain

Phase 2 - Milk & Sugar (Add powders):

3dl of oatmilk

1 heaping tbsp of raw cane- or coconut sugar

  • Add milk and sugar to the base tea and mix well
  • Bring it to boil
  • Serve hot

Phase 3 (Optional) - Cream or milk topping

1dl of cream

1 tsp of raw cane- or coconut sugar

1/8 tsp of vanilla or cinnamon powder (Decoration)

  • Whip the cream and add sugar to it
  • Top the drink with whipped cream
  • Decorate with vanilla or cinnamon powder
  • Serve

3 Variations

1. Christmas Chaga Chai

Add to the recipe:

  • 1-2 Star anis or 1/8 tsp of powder
  • 2 cloves or 1/8 tsp of powder

2. Chaga Chai Latte

  • Leave ginger from the recipe
  • Add ½dl strong espresso coffee in the end
  • Use milkfoam topping instead of cream

3. Indian Chai

  • Use 1tsp of black tea instead of chaga
  • Add pintch of cayanne pepper to the drink

All of these recipes are very delicious and worth trying.
