About This Class

Whether you have a brand new wheel or an antique, your wheel needs looking after to keep it spinning easily.  This class looks at the care of your wheel, including the common problems and how to go about solving them.

Both upright (castle) and table (saxony) wheels, modern and antique, will be used to illustrate things like where to oil, where fluff might accumulate etc.

In this class Elizabeth Lovick teaches a simple and very effective approach to getting a wheel up and spinning and maintaining it that way. Her relaxed attitude and the clear photography makes it easy to learn the techniques and to apply them to any wheel.
This is an excellent lesson on basic maintenance of your wheel regardless of type, and a good introduction to carious types of wheels.
