Project Description

For the class project we’re going to create a layout based on a typographic grid. It could be a newspaper, magazine, commercial brochure, art book.. Whatever you’d like to work on.

You’ll first want to start by choosing the format of your document. I suggest you to forget standard formats and just go crazy with it. Choose 1 to 2 typefaces grab some text and images of your own or online from open sources like Wikipedia and follow along to create a simple yet powerful layout.

Once you’ve finished share your final design as well as the screenshot of your design showing the grid you’ve created with the margins, columns, gutters and the baseline grid.

Remember to have fun !
