Project Description

Your Own Design On Clothing!

ASSIGNMENT:

I would love to see your pattern on clothes! Put your own pattern design on a photo you’ve taken yourself or a picture from the web to show how wonderful your artwork would look in the real world :)

DELIVERABLE:

Share your design in the class gallery for feedback. Please include the following:

  1. Your own pattern design that you would like to visualise on a piece of garment
  2. Picture used for mockup (don't forget to indicate a source of your image)
  3. Final artwork
  4. (optional) A link/screenshot to your site/portfolio where you've used your new work.

If you have any other techniques and tips you would like to share with the fellow students, please, post  them also!

I just can't wait to see your patterns designs even before your final visualisation is ready! Please, share your creations with the class! Let's get to know each other :)

NOTE ABOUT THE COPYRIGHTS:

If you have the possibility to take your own photographs I highly encourage you to do so! Otherwise, I recommend using the content under Creative Commons licence. Under this link you will find a very good article explaing this subject with the references of where to search for Creative Commons licenced content.

Otherwise, please care not to use the photos taken from the web without the permission of the author, especially if you want to share them online.
