About This Class

This course uses a step-by-step approach to explain how to use le passé composé tense in French. The goal is for you to be able to talk about and write about things you did yesterday, or last week or...

Because the content of this course is a bit longer than the usual Bite-Sized class, I have divided it into three "bites" or sections. I have also created a workbook in the form of an ebook that you can download to give you extra practice.

Specifically, you will learn how and when to use le passé composé- and you will practice:

  • identifying when you should use le passé composé
  • using both avoir and être as the auxiliary verb
  • using irregular verbs
  • forming questions and negative sentences using this tense
