Project Description

Design a brand identity system.

ASSIGNMENT

Your assignment is to desgn a brand identity system. You can begin with your own logo, mood board and creative brief, or you can download the sample I've provided.  You'll create a color palette and apply it to your logo, analyze and define your type needs, create a graphic language, then lay out all your elements in a collage and/or client slide presentation that brings together all your elements and shows how they interact with each other. This final presentation is just like what you'd present to a real client, and whether you choose a fictional or real brand, this project will give you the practice and experience to go forth and create a cohesive brand identity for any future project.

DELIVERABLE

A complete brand identity, which includes:

  • the logo, brief, and mood board you'll be working with
  • color palette and colorized logo
  • typographic system (include primary + supporting typography, text paragraph, capital + lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols)
  • graphic language
  • final brand identity collage and/or client presentation slides
