Project Description

The Resolution Cycle

- Building Your Achievement Cycle -

During this class you will take a resolution or goal and break it down to find a small (as in tiny) task will get you moving toward that goal and that you consider achievable.  Actually it will initially be a task that you consider so trivially small that is will be impossible not to achieve.

You will then lay out daily commitments to yourself for the first week. At the end of week one, you'll have a chance to reflect on the progress you've made - small as it will (and should) be - and decide on the next step in your journey. This is the cycle that you will repeat through to completion.

Class Outcomes

The outcome of this class will be a statement of the large resolution (goal plus commitment) you have made for yourself, the smaller resolutions (objectives) that you have set for yourself for each week, and a short summary of the reflections you have made about your progress for the previous week. You will be able to use these to reflect back on what you have achieved on your journey to success while continuing to use the structure to carry on to your final goal.
