About This Class

Even if you've never written a word of code in your life, you can create your own webpages. Like any other skill, you start with the very basics and build on them.

Adding features in increments is how software developers build websites and apps. When I teach these principles to my students I use the same approach. At the end of this course, students will have learned what it takes to create a basic web page, and how to publish it for the world to see. Ready? Let’s get started!

Wonderful pacing and depth to this class. Five stars!
Learning lots, but feel like you miss telling viewers the shortcuts you are using (ie. split tag). And also having a hard time trying to figure out how to preview in a browser. Can you explain?
A really enjoyable course to get the basics and make it happen, thanks;)

Artsy people can code!

I'm what you would call "a maker" and I love to share what I've learned. Most of that falls at the intersection of tech and art. I'm a self-taught web designer and front-end developer and overall a hands-on visual learner. My hope is that I can make it easier for other visual learners and "artsy" types to learn to code by sharing some of the concepts that I had to learn through much trial and error.
