Project Description

As a class project: you will create a simple resume page that you can show your future employer your html experience and even include the link on your email signature.

Tools you need:

  • A computer with a text editor (Notepad or TextEdit work fine)
  • A good internet connection
  • Patience and Persistence! Debugging is FUN! :-)

 

Step 1 - Setting up your environment

  1. Create a new folder
  2. Create a new file
  3. Open that file in your favorite text editor

 

Step 2 - Creating your HTML skeleton

  1. Add your HTML tags
  2. Add your HEAD tags
  3. Add your BODY tags

 

Step 3 - Adding your content

  1. Create a header section
  2. Add your picture
  3. Create a section of work experience
  4. Create a list of your work history

 

Step 4 - Deploy to your codepen.io http://codepen.io

  1. Migrate your code to your codepen url 
  2. Tell your friends about your new resume site!
