About This Class

Hello my name is Costanza and it is my pleasure to welcome you to Strings and Things, which is the name I gave to this course! I created a step by step tutorial to teach you how to play the classical guitar! This class is level 3 and would suit an absolute beginner who has already completed levels 1 and 2.

About me

I am  young, energetic, highly talented Classical Musician who studied at Milan’s Junior Music Conservatoire and subsequently won Scholarships to Wells Cathedral School in the UK (one of theUK’s five most prestigious music schools) followed by a Scholarship at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. I have significant experience as a Music Teacher, Composer, Classical Guitar and Clarinet Teacher and ‘on-stage Public Classical Guitar Recitalist’.

What will you learn and how long will it take you to master the level 3 classical guitar skills?

- For level 3, I prepared a short tune for you to learn. This is the method I will use to teach you:

1 Meet & Greet as usual ahh

2 The notes of the tune with the left hand - practice this for at least 2 or 3 days

3 The notes of the tune with the right hand - Work on the right hand for another 2 or 3 days

4 Try to play it! - It should take you about 10-15 days to learn how to play the tune

Want to learn more?

I am preparing level 4 of the course so stay tuned!

I am a 22 years old classical guitar recitalist from Italy. I gave my first recital at the age of 14 at the ‘Casa Verdi’ in Milan and have been performing for audiences around Europe since then! I won scholarships to study in the UK, first at Wells Cathedral School and then at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where I got my degree.

I decided to start using skillshare to create a classical guitar course divided into different levels (just published level 1) because I really want to transmit my share for music!
