Project Description

One of the most important lessons I've learned from my daily art practice is that taking action is truly the secret ingredient to becoming a better artist. So I encourage you to do just that!

The videos will include some simple prompts. Make a commitment to your art by following along, doing each one and posting the results in the classroom as part of your class project. This will help keep you accountable. :)

Join me in creating a still life in pencil during video #6. You can use one of the following as inspiration for your still life...

1. the image below that I use (you can also download the file)

2. one of the images I provide at the end of the "What's Next?" video.

3. a vignette you set up yourself

Please share whatever you choose for your inspiration image and still life drawing in the classroom. Not only does it make a great class collection but you'll learn from observing each others' techniques.

If you want to post your drawing in Instagram, please tag me @riasharon so I know to check it out there!
