About This Class

Advance your beading knowledge with variation on basic jewelry making stitches! In this class, you will learn how to make a two strand opera length necklace using modified versions of the Right Angle Weave. You can even take apart the wide beaded band and make a bracelet or other beaded projects with it. This class features popular bead shapes suck as the DiamonDuo, and Czech Fire Polish rounds. This design also allows for you to make it completely personalized to your tastes, and lets you take your knowledge and apply it to other jewelry making designs.

Materials for the Necklace:

  • 11/0 Seed Beads
  • 15/0 Seed Beads
  • 2 Focal pendants (1 round, 1 long)
  • Six (6) 8mm+ Beads
  • 2 Teardrop beads or pendants (or spikes!)
  • Approx 100+ 3mm Fire Polish Rounds (Other shapes can work as well)
  • Four (4) 4mm Fire Polish Rounds
  • Approx 70+ DiamonDuo Beads (or SuperDuo Beads)
  • 1 Clasp
  • An assortment of Open and Closed Jumpring
  • Needle (size 12-13)
  • Thread (2-6lb test Fireline or Heavy weight Nymo)
