About This Class

Do you have great design ideas for your bedroom but are not sure how to bring them to life? In this class, interior designer Leah Ring will outline some design tools to help you focus your design vision and plan your space to optimize the design of your bedroom.

The class begins by helping you outline functional needs and key pieces, then provides tips for gathering inspiration images that can be applied to your room in a practical way.

For the class project, you'll be tasked with creating a design board with a color palette, as well as a space plan for your bedroom. The space planning techniques shown in the class are ones that anyone can do at home - no professional design software needed!

At the end of the class students will be armed with the tools needed to execute the design of their bedroom and create a beautiful space that they love!

Leah Ring

Interior Designer, DIYer, Artist

Hello! My name is Leah Ring and I'm an interior designer living and working in Los Angeles. I've worked in design in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York and have experience in both commercial and residential design.

I think that interior design is a powerful tool that helps shape the way we experience the world. Whether it's where we live, where we socialize or where we work, I truly believe that a well-designed space can improve quality of life and make people happy!

As a big fan of DIY projects and getting my hands dirty, when I'm not working on an interiors project I can be found in my studio in Northeast Los Angeles experimenting with crafts and various art projects. To see what I'm working on or making, you can check out my website or my instagram account.
