1. ID Bachata Ladies Vol1 0 Introduction: Hello, my name is Karina worse, and I'm part of the incognita dance company. Welcome to this but chatter Ladies tiling course for beginners. In this course we will cover all fundamental moves, techniques and Lady styling tips for your dancing. 2. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 1 Posture: Before we start dancing, I will talk you through how to stand like a dancer. This is called posture, and you should keep it whenever you dance, but shot them. Let's start with our feet. So your feet should be slightly turned out, which means that your heels are together and your toes are pointing outwards. So sort of in a V-shape. So don't turn your legs like this. And also don't be completely flat like a valid answer. Just slightly turned out. Then next, our, our nice, our knees, slightly bent, bent in batch data. So we have a lot of flexibility in our hips, which we'll, we'll need for the nice hip movement. So in batch data compared to other Latin dancers, our needs are more bent. Also, that brings your weight on the balls of your feet. So you should never have any weight on the hills because it's dangerous. First of all, if the floor is not even or there's a little hole, you don't want to get stuck with your heel, so keep your weight on the balls of your feet. Also, you're more ready to go and do fast steps if your whole weight of your body is more forward. So just see where you usually are and then shift your weight slightly forward. And that's where you want to be law students by chapter. Then moving on to our hips, they should be just naturally back. So if you just relax, sort of your hip flexes and let that natural curve of your lower back happened, then that's a good position to be in. You don't want to talk them under, but you also don't wanna stick your hip too far out because that will compromise the rest of your posture. So just sort of that natural arch in your back like this. Then keep your core engaged at all times that will help you with stability and balance. So keep your apps engaged and tight. Okay? Then your chest. You want to lift your chest up as if you have a little string here on your chest up, pulls it up, or you take a deep breath in. That should be your posture. But keep it there. It should be flexible. Like not looking stiff. Be flexible. But up. Don't release your ribs forward. So don't release everything out. Keep in, keep your core engaged and just lift your chest up like this. Then your shoulders should first of all be down. So make sure they're nice and relaxed and not pulled up. When steps get more complex, more difficult, I see a lot of dancers tension in their shoulders. So make sure they're nice and relaxed and down. And your shoulder blades should go up and down. So if you think of your shoulder blades pointing this way down, your shoulders should be rolled back slightly like this. So your chest is nice and prominent and up and your shoulders are back like this. Then your eye line should be straight ahead of you. Don't look down on the floor. That will put you off balance because the head is is heavy. And if you, if you look down, then your whole weight shifts forward and you might lose your balance. So look straight ahead of you. If your partner is taller than you, maybe don't look him in the ice or only in certain moments says look him maybe on his chest and if you shorter than you, maybe look at his forehead. Okay. But it should be your eye line should be straight. Your arms should be up like this because you engaged your shoulders, they're rolled back and there should be some sort of tension underneath your arms. So keep them up like this. Don't ever drop them because that puts you hold posture at risks of relaxing forward and your shoulders forward. So make sure your shoulders are back and your arms are up like that. 3. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 2 Basic Steps: Let's start with the basic step. You have three steps and one tap. And that goes throughout by chapter. So remember that three steps, one top, and you'll be fine for the beginning. So we start with our right leg. We stare bout one, then you step your left leg together on two. Then again, right leg out, three, and you bring your left leg in, but this time for only a tap, like this, once more. So we step out with our right leg, one left leg together to write laid out three unless collect up for, then we do the same thing to the other side. So this time we step out of the left leg, one, steps together with the right leg to outdoors left leg three and tap with the right leg on four. So but faster. 567812345678, again, 12345678. And that's your basic step. Let's try again. Five, make sure you go to your right, okay, 56781234567, top 123567. You can already see that when I tap, I send my hip hip up, but it comes from all the way from the floor. So I pressed the floor and I stretch my leg and that what's sending my hip up. So press towards the floor. Stretch your legs and send your hip up if you'd like to try the hip. But I will go into more details about the body movement in our next section. So for now, just focus on the steps. Let's do them again. 56781234567812345678. And once more, make sure you keep your posture nice and your arms up. 56781, 234567812345678. And that's your site basic. This is how you would usually start a dot. We can also do our basics to the front and to the back with the same rhythm. So let's try that now. So again, you start with the right leg going forward. We go one. Then you take another step to another step, three. And then you tap behind, almost across like this. And then we walk backwards with our left leg. One right to left three and tap with your rights on four. So we go 123, tub behind 4567, top in front. On eight. You want to walk in one straight line. So keep your legs together. Make sure you don't walk like this. Keep your legs together one foot in front of the other. 123 and then eat up behind, sort of cross your foot. Then we step back 567 and you tap in front. And you can see sort of my hips are almost diagonal when I tap. And my right foot is in front of my left foot and not like this. Besides. Ok. You take very small steps, but I'm trying to step. Okay. Take very small steps and controlled 1234567812345678. Like this. Let's try it again for one bank, 56781234567812345678. And these are your side to side and front and back basics. 4. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 3 Body Movement: This section is about your basic body movement. And the most important body movement in buckshot is the motion that you hips are doing. This motion is a figure of eight. So think of an eight and then put it flat on its stomach like this. And you have a figure of eight. So let's start just to start with, let's do a quick exercise. Just spend one leg and sink into your hips. So if I bend my right leg, I sink sink into my left hip. So my left tip should be going out. And then you change your legs and your other hip is going out like this. 1212. It does help if you're leaning forward slightly like this. And you can go 1212 because you have more motion in your hips when you're leaning forward. Alright? Now, if you also bend, so now we have our legs straight, just bend it slightly. And that might also increase the range of motion in your hips and change. And change because you never want to have your any of your legs completely straight. So we keep them relaxed and then we just spend one knee even more to bring out the opposite tip like this. To create a figure of eight motion. We're not twisting with our lower body like this. And we do this at the same time. So let's start with our right knee bent and our left hip is pushing out. We twist towards the right leg like this. And then we exchange, boom, then we twist back. So now our left leg is forward and exchange your legs. Push your left hip out and then bring it back. So push your right hip to the corner, then twist it back and then drop it to bring that left hip up, then bring it back and so on. Like this. And when you do it faster, the motion should become more round. Like this. Round, forward, up, down and back up, up, up, up, like this. If you need a further breakdown of this, please go to our isolation course. Now, let's try to do this figure of eight motion in the basic bunch up a step. So starting with our right leg, we will release it to take a step. And that sends our left it out and out slightly diagonally buck. And we take a step to the site. Now we're transferring the weight over and that shifts your hips. So from having the hips all the way to the left, we're now transferring our weight. And that's the same times our hip is coming out to the right and it's pointing to the right front corner. So just do this transition. So from here, we go. To the right. Then you twist your head back and close your left leg. So we go from this corner, twist you hit back and close your left leg. Then when you put weight onto your left leg, you then transition your hips again. And now they're pointing to your left front corner. Then you bring them back again to the left back corner to take another step. And we did the same thing again. Now we transitioned the hips, the right front corner, going around to the back, bring your left foot in. And this time, instead of of continuing the motion of a figure of eight, for the top, we just go up and down. So your leadership is pointing to the left from corner and we just do up and down. Let's just do that again. So release your right leg. Take step. Transition your hips to your right from corner. Go to the back right corner. Bring your left leg in and transition your hips. We are now in that left from corner. Take a step out. It goes to the back left corner. Transition more, wherein the front right corner go to the back whilst you bring your left leg in. And then we do our top which is just boom. Our hip is going to the left from corner up and down. Slightly faster. We go 1234. Let me do that from the front. So bend the legs. We go really see your right leg send you hit left it back. One transition. And 234. Again, we go 1234, slightly faster. 567 eighth 1234. So you sort of leaving your hips behind in a way. So if you step out, you can see that my upper body is already moving to that size where I'm stepping and my hips are still behind, Out. Twist again out and up. So that's the first half of our basic. And then we do the whole thing to the other side. So we went 1234. Now we step out to the left. Our hip is pointing back, right corner. Transition and and tap again a bit slower. So you step out with your left hip is going back right? Transition or your weight and your hips. So now your hip is pointing left front. Move it to the back, transition the weight. Right front. Move it to the back was to step out bringing in left front. And when you did a tap, lifted up to the right from corner for just a second half of the basic. So that will be on 5678. And from the beginning of the basic 567845678, again, 123456. So then from the front, 56781234567812345678. And now these are a lot of steps to remember when you break it down. So if this is too complex for now, just make sure you keep your legs bent and you sink into your hips. So just think of sinking into your hips, leaving your hips behind. So Sync and leave them behind. And then once you use to that, you can feel focus more on the twisting of your hips, on the nth counts. So 12341234. So this will take a lot of practice, but with those broken down steps, just do the exercises and you will get used to it and it will start to feel natural. Let's practice this body movement with music. We'll do just a figure of 8 first, and then we go into our basic step to figure of eight. You said K. But phosphate. Assume this implication and vice-chancellor disenfranchisement that photo caption batch splits the ecosystem. The Jamie can consume this thing, move cafes, file systems. 5. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 4 Arm and Hand Styling: Let me talk to you about hands and arms dialing in central buckshot than your arms and hands styling is very important. The more advanced you get, the more complex your arm and hand movements will become. And also, it helps you to express feelings or what the song is saying. But for now, it keep it quite simple. So let's start with our hands. Your hands should be in this position. So you have sort of a cherry sized gap between your middle finger and your thumb. So as if you're holding a cherry and your other fingers are pointing upwards. So let me show you from the side. So your other fingers pointing up and then your middle finger is slightly foot down and your firm is in. So sometimes in batch up over a bit more relaxed than this. But even when you relax your fingers, you still want to make sure that you keep your thumb in. So don't stick your format like this. You want to keep it pointing towards your middle finger. And then I always have my pinky finger slightly up just for a bit of elegance. So even when I have my Arms relaxed there in sort of this position. And then if I put more emphasis on my hands and my arms, I stretched my fingers and that will bit more tension into them. So if I'm moving my arms up and down, your hands should always follow to give sort of a soft feeling. So if you move it up, your fingers are pointing down. You move your arm down and your fingers are pointing up. So just do this with me. We go up and down. Up, fingers are down. Move your arm down, thickness are up. And then obviously the other side as well. Up, down, up, down, up, down, up. So that's the general feeling. Now, in terms of arm styling in budget, that we have loads of different options. Let's start with a simple one. We move our arms all the way up like this, and then all the way down. So you keep your on pretty much stretch and your hands follows like we just learned. You go up, make sure your shoulders are down, so don't lift up your shoulders. Keep them nice and relaxed down. And then when you go right to the top, you might bend your elbow a little bit more to bring your hands above your head like this, and then moving it down. And with the other hand, go up all the way, keep your shoulders down. Bend your elbows likely at the end. And I'm moving it down like this. Up. And and if both arms we go up and down and up. And once we're up, we can do all sorts of things. For example, we can flower our hands like that. So I'm just touching my wrists together like this. And then I bring one in the back, one in the front and exchange. Or we can simply just turn our hands in and then move our hands, arms down leg of this. So if you move your hands up, then turn your hands in and then move your arms down. Again. Up. Turn your hands in. And which adds a different dimension. So your first option is this. And the second option is this. Now what do we do if we just move our arms to the site? So in everyday life, when you're reaching for something, you reaching with your hands. So you movement is led by your hands. But in dance, when we lift up our arms, we unfold it from our shoulders. So we go shoulder, elbow, wrist, and then hand. Shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. So this looks very soft. Shoulder, elbow, wrist and heads. If you need a further breakdown of this move, then please go to our isolation course where we take this MOOC very step-by-step. But for now, we can just go like this. And so the other side, so just gift that. Try to move your hands softly to the side. So if we do, for example, our basic, we can just go side and down on the other side, leaving it behind. And what I also like to do is once my arm is at the side, when I drop it and make sure I move my shoulder back and retract the hand from the shoulders again. Shouldice leads. So shoulder forward, unfold. And then to drop a hand, I lead with my shoulder and they've tracked it up and up. And another styling that's very popular in buckshot, There is a grab. So if you move your arm up and then you sort of twist your hand like this. And I guess if you're grabbing something and then pull it in towards you. So this time we lead with our hand, grab, twist, finger by finger, a ripple, and then bring it in. Grab, twist and bring it in. Droves the other hand twists and bring it in and we Goldfinger by fingers so you can really see the movement. Just don't go, don't go like this. But we twist and fold in one finger at a time and then bring it in for a lot of expression. Like if the song is saying you have my heart, my heart, yeah, you can express the lyrics like this. Then the third option I will give you is touching your body. So this is done in a very tasteful way. So usually we touch, for example, our site with a flat hand so we don't actually go around our body. Just a flattened. And if you're not with your fingers, but if you're the palm of your hand, you brush against the side of your body. So this can be very sexy like this. Or in batch data we also go a lot across our chest like that. And then down the body, across the chest and down the body like that. So these are just a few options, but you have a lot of options in batch data to express yourself and the music with your hands and arms. Let's practice our hands and our movements with the basic sidestep. First they go up and down, then we got up, twist down, then we'll do one arm to the side and drop the other one, drop. Then we'll do our grab, pull in, grab pull in. And then the last one, we grab both Rs to the front, bring them to the test across the chest and down your body. Let's try. Three syllables. Phoneme is shapes. Us multilateral issues. That, that no, no, no, no D, S must appeal. If instead you've got that. They'll get a guest OS. Building multiple trees that are best. And it's really very simple. 6. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 5 Two Step: Let's learn how to do two steps. Two steps are a very nice way to start off a dance and the beginning of the song, especially for example, if the beat hasn't kicked in fully yet. So you can do to two steps during bar of eight beats or you can do for. So let's start with the slow version. What I mean by two steps is this. We just step out on the right foot one and then you just tap your foot to, So you go 1234. So that's the slow version. On the other side, 56, 78, again, 12345678. Thumb forget, you'll figure of eight hip movement. So it's the same thing than we do in our basic. We go diagonally, 1234567812345678. So if you do that slowly, then you would usually are at some nice arm movements, hand styling that we've just learned earlier. Let's do it again. 56781234567812345678. How I said, you can also do for two steps in a phrase in eight count. So let's do that. 567812345678. And from the front, 567812345678. As you can see, a two-step is also a really nice way to practice your figure of a tip because it's slightly less complex than in the basic. You can also do two steps to the front and back. So let's do the slow version first. So you step with your right leg forward. We go 1234, master back 5678, again, 12345678. From the front, make sure you cross your leg behind. So we go 12, cross behind 34567812345678 and double the timing. So four steps in a count of 8567812345678. It's nice and easy step that you can add into your batch up there. Let's practice those two steps with music. This should allusions. Then only if she looks small, told me that I couldn't get that node. Or Kim was our triangle B as mass that VOCs event listener. That Polish? Yes. Yes, but it's a little bit better. They're fighting. Abilities follows the poet and I think it's a good choice. 7. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 6 Taps: In this section you will learn a very simple version of tabs in Baghdad that we do a lot of tabs and they can go in all sorts of direction, whatever you like and whatever combination you like. But we start with a very simple version that can also be used to put you back into the right timing. If you lost your way along the way in your dancing, you can use that to stop and then get back on the right foot. So let's start. We start with our lab. Right foot's going out, out. This is the top. We come back in and then we sort of do two steps that we just did. Two step. That's already it. So we go out in the new step out and together with the left leg out. And then you step on the left, bring them right together, right out, right, and step out together, out and step out and together. What makes it look good is that you sort of lean a little bit over. You, transfer your weight a little bit, but not all the way. So you just go her stop and then you do a two-step and stop in and to step together out in. Two-step together, out in two step together. So sort of stops your body movements as well. You want to stop your whole body moving together. And then you go back into your nice figure of eight tips and everything. And then you go Stop in and continue, hope, and continue and continue. You can also do this motion to the front and the back. Let's do it. So we go front again. Lean your body slightly over. So we go front and back. And then you step over and tap in the back. Then you tap back in and step out and take a step out and take a step and tap from the back, 6781234567812345678. And from the front, 56781234567812345678. If you did lose your way in the timing in terms of the basic, you would do two taps. So let's say you do your basic 12345678. You usually go to your right. He did some fancy footwork turn. And now suddenly you're on your left foot on the one. Then you can equally out with two taps to the side. So let's say you lost your way in terms of timing. So usually go to the right on the one. Now, you ended up on the left. So you can do two tabs to equalize out and go back on the one with you, right? So let's start with our half basic to the left, which is not correct, but that's where you ended up. We go 1234. We do two taps, 5678 and look at this. I go 1234 and back on my right. Again. So you went you ended up on your left. You got 12345678 and you're back on the right, 345678. So you can also use it in this way. Let's do these taps, the stops with music. Cool. Okay. 8. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 7 Step Turns: It's time to start turning. We start with our most common way first. So we go from our basic, we step out on the right leg. Then when we bring the left leg in, you do half a turn. So like this, turn around half and then we keep going the same way. Step out of your right leg, S3 and E14. Like always, you tap once more. So we step out of our right leg. Step your left leg in half a ton and then step your right leg out the other half of the term. And then you tap a bit faster. 56781234. This is called a step turn because we're stepping on each leg versus spinning, where you just keep your legs together and you just spin. All right, so this is step turn. Let's do it again. 56781, 234. You want to turn on one straight line. So if you have like a corridor or a line on the floor that you can follow, then just try to step on that line. So let me do it towards you. We go one so you can see I'm facing the side, but I'm already looking where I'm going. Then I turn half and the other half and tap. So now it's time to really engage your core and half the weight forward over the balls of your feet to not lose balance. I see a lot that people start to lean back and then they lose balance when they turn. So keep your weight over the balls of your feet. We go 1234. And then also you have to start spotting. Spotting is when you look at 1, usually where you're going and you try to keep looking at that point as long as possible and then as soon as possible. What I mean by that is you look and then your body terms, and then you slap your head round, whereas your body's going continuously. So you body turns turns down and then snap you had and keep turning and slap, keeps going. Try the other side. So you turn your body, snuff BU hat and keep turning, turning body slough, and keep turning. So that's called spotting, takes a bit of practice, but just do this exercise. And you can also, once you feel comfortable with this step turn, you can do it continuously and always try to spot where you're going, find a point and keep looking at that point. Alright, let's do our steps again. We start with our right. We go one half, half and tap. Once more from the front, we go out half, half and tap. So as you can see, when I go, I already look that way. So you go 1234. Obviously you can also do this term to the other side. So on four, we can go to the left, 567. Tap Bonnie. Again. We touched on four. We step out on our left leg, then right. We do half a turn, left and tap on the right. Let's do half a basic without the turn 1234, then turn 5678. And from the front half a basic 78123105678. And obviously you can do turns on both sides. Let's try 56781234567, again, 12345678 from the front, 6781234567812345678. Make sure you keep your hands up for support. If you drop them, you might fall over. So keep your back Maxon, negate your hands up, your core Engaged, spotting on point, and your feet in one line. These are the most important points for your step turns. So this is the normal, the usual way that you turn, which in partner work is called an insight turn u turn towards your partner. So you go forward. In this case, you turn towards the front. But you can also do an outside turn where you move away from your partner in partner hold. But when you do it alone, now, we turn away from the front. So let me explain. We go, I'll just write as always, and now we turn away from the front. So that way. And then keep turning the same way. Bomb and just start again. So we step out, turn away from the front ball, then step. And I lost my balance. Steps very hard to do it slowly. When you do it faster, you will feel more balanced. But let's try again without losing our balance. So we go out one, then turn to step out three and finish your basic 5678 once more, right? Left, right, and top 5678. And from the front. So I'm turning away from you. So you go 12345678, again, 12345678. Again, same thing obviously can do to the other side as well. Turning over your left shoulder. So we do half are basic to start with 1234. Step out on your left, turn away from the front. Mom. Again, step and half a basic 12345678. Let me do it from the France. So we do half a by six to start with 781234567812345678. And that's your outer outside turn in partner hold. So get used to turning both ways forward and a way. You can also turn when you do your basics front and back. Let me show you. So we do half a basis to the front 123 tab and then you turn over your left shoulder. 567 Tab. Again, 123. Tap, turn back on yourself so you step out on your left, 67, TAP, sampling, then move side to side. You try to stay on this one line that you just walked forward. You want to turn back on that same line to end up in the starting position. Let's try again. 67812345678. And from the front, 6781234567812345678. You can also turn whilst you're going forward and then do the straight half basic back. So we turn on our right shoulder, we go 1234 and then just half a basic straight back, 5678, again, 12345678 from the front, 56781234567, again, 12345678. And this is your turn when you're going front and back. If you struggle with balance, than it might help to bring your feet closer together when you turn. So as we're doing in our basic, so we take a big step, then we bring our feet together, big step feet together. The terms sort of happens when your feet are together. So also forward and back, we take a big step, feed together, big step, tap. So when you do the turn, we do one. Then when you spin, your feet are quite close together, take another step. Tab, same thing to the back, 1234. So that might help to think about. So it's this big step together out to get the same thing when you spinning. 9. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 8 Routine 1 : It's time for our very first routine. We start with the intro, just doing some hip figure of eight and arm movement. Let me show you. So our hips go figure of eight whilst you move up your right arm. Left arm. Like we practiced. So we go right and left. And then you move your arms down along your body whilst you still moving your hips. So from here, boom. Boom. So we go 12345678. From the front it looks like this. 12345678. This is just for the introduction into the music. Then the big kicks in and redo a basic side to side and the basic front and back. So 56781234567 from 12345678, from the front, 6781234567812345678. So you can show off your nice basic. Then we move on with two, with a two step, a slow one, and we grab forward with both hands. Then you bring them across your chest. Then you open up your hands, brush across your chest and down your body. Like this. Again. Grab forward with your hands. Bring them across your chest. Open your hands, live them across your chest, down your body on the site. Whilst you do this, we do our slow two-step. So we go 12345678. Again from the front, 12345678. Let's go from the beginning. 56781234567, basic 1234567 forward 1234567 to step 12345678. Once again, from the beginning, 5678. 1234567, basic 1234567, and forward 1234567812345678. Moving on, we have our taps. So we go out and step across out and step across with our hands. We go out. Then when we step across, you lift your arm up. And like we learned, nice and soft up and up and up. So we do our top. 1234, same to the other side, 5678567812345678. It's also nice wet ones. You lift your arm, you lean a little bit forward over this lake. And that's a very nice shape you create. Let's do just the tabs again. 67812345678. Let's go from the beginning. 56781234567, basic 1234567 to the front, 12345672 steps, 1234567, top, 12345678. Again, this from the start, 56781234567, basic 1234567411234567 to step 1234567, tabs 1234567. And this is the first half of the choreography. Let's move onto the second part. We stopped with a time. So an inside turn over our right shoulder. So we go 1234, finish your basic 5678. Then we do another half a basic, bringing our arms up like this. 1234, grab it gently, your wrist, and then we do a term to the left, 5678. So in combination, it goes 1234567812345678 from the front, 56781234567812345678. Then from here we're gonna do 22 steps, bringing our arm down our body like this. So here we go. 1234. Then we take tap to the front 56 and the step 78, again from the back wheel and the tear after the time we go, 123455, close together, seven, top. After the top, we turn to the back. We go 123422, steps 5678. And that's the end of the routine, But let's rewind. So from here, we went 123456712345678. At the end of the two steps, I just sort of enjoy the stamp and move my shoulders back like this. So no special arm movements or anything. You can just chill. To enter routine with. Let's do the whole second part. From the terms 56781234567, arms up 1234567 to step 1234567812345678. And from the front, 56781234567812345678123467812345678. And that's your second part? Yeah. 10. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 9 Basic Variation with Triple Step: This step is a slight variation to your normal basic, but instead of a tab, you do a little triple step. Let me show you. So we start as usual with our right leg. We go 1234. So instead of the top, you go. And for, let's do that again. So we step out of our right, 1234, once more, 56781234. And then obviously you can go back as well. 5678 from the front, 567812345678. We use this basic allots because it helps you in case you're partner is still leading you somewhere. Or the move was a bit too far for you to get there in three steps, then you can still move with the triple step. So go 1234. You can move wherever you want to instead of just doing the top. And then you're sort of static. Stepping on the and is called a single patient. So usually in our basic we step on all the numbers, so 1234. So there's not, and in there, as soon as you start stepping on the ads, you're doing, you sink or pate with the music. So you go 12345678. We'll do lots of different variations of syncopation later, especially in the improvement models, but also later on in the beginner. So let's do the basic wasted triple steps once more. 5678, 1234567812345678, again from the front, 56781234567812345678. And that's your basic variation with a triple step. 11. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 10 Cross Steps: In these steps, we do the basic, but instead of coming together, we cross over. So we start as usual with our right leg. We go one. Then instead of coming together, we cross in the front on to step out on three and tap on for once more. We go one, cross in front on to step out on three and tap on four. Then we go back to the left, step out, crossing right in front, step at the left, and up on for a bit faster. 7812345678. And from the front it looks like this. We go 12345678. This is another step you can use to travel a little bit further than you usually do just in your normal base sick when you come together. So you can go a bit further. If the leader tells you to do so. But you can also use it as just another styling tool. We can also cross our foot behind. In this case, we go step out, cross behind, step out and tap out, cross behind and tap again, out. Cross behind, out and tap out, cross behind and tap. And from the front that looked like this, they go behind and behind. And when I got behind, I usually release my foot a little bit for an extra effect. Let me show what you mean. What I mean. Let me show you what I mean. We go as soon as I stepped out, I release my left foot. So I go one and then I circle my left foot to go behind. So I go one and then step once more. You step out on your right, released the left foot, circle it behind, and then step across. So I go 1234. And then the same on the other side, I step on my left leg, released my right circle around, and then step across out. And together once more, we go 12345678. From the front, we go 12345678. You can also twist your body slightly whilst you release your foot. So like this, you go when you step out. One and I twist my body slightly to this corner, 2345. And now I'm twisting towards my right corner, 234. Let's do a little bit faster with the twist. So we go one, release, 2345678, again, 12345678. And from the front, 56781234567812345678. You can obviously make this twist and the release of the foot more or less traumatic. Okay. So you can just decide to just do the cross in the back normal, or you can decide to make it super dramatic. If you feel like that's what the music is telling you to do. And we're going to look a little bit of a substance or the gamble. On occasion, you know, because of the convenience. 12. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 11 Mambo Steps part 1: This step is another variation of a basic step. We call it mumbles step. It's used in loads of different moves and turn patterns in by chapter. So let me show you. You can do this step in all directions. So let's start to decide. We go step out. If you're right, then step back on your left so you just transfer your weight onto your right, back onto your left step, you're right in and then you tap on your left. Again. You step out on your right, transfer your weight, then step on your left, transfer your weight back, then step of your right leg. And then tap on your left. But faster, we'll go 1234. And then to the other side we step our left leg out, back onto your right leg. Step your left leg in and tap on your right. And that's 5678. Make sure you really lift your legs. So 12345678. And also make sure you have that nice figure of a tip movement that we talked about. Okay. Let's do it again from the front. 567812345678. Also, it's important that you keep your legs really bent because you don't want to start looking like you're doing salsa. Okay. So keep your knees nice and bent. And we step 567 on your right, 1234567812345678. When you start dancing. But chapter, it's a very common thing that on the eight, before you start, you sort of drop and bend your legs real quick. 5678 and start 345678. It just gives you put in the right position if you've spent and ready to start. So try that next time we do an exercise to the music. Alright, let's do it once more to decide 56781234567812345678. He could do the same step to the front and to the back. Let's go to the front first. We go with the right leg. We step forward this time. One step back on your left, too. Close your right leg. Three. And tab on your left on four. Then on the left, 567. Again, on the right, we go 1234 on your left, 5678, ones more, 12345678. I sort of twist my body a little bit when I go to the front because I want to step in front of my left leg. So first step, my right foot to the front. I stepped like this one. Then I have a nice opportunity to show off my hip movement. Warm. It is either one. That's what you want to aim for. So we push our hip up and the route to create that figure of eight. So we go 1234, same thing on the other side, 567812345678. So really tried to create that round in the front. You can also just stay here and practice that hip movement. It goes up to the front and then to the buck up and once more to the front, 56781234567812345678. And then as promised, we do the same step to the back. Starting with our right leg. We step back ONE lift and replace your left leg. Step together if you're right and tap on your left. So back on the right and replace your left together with your right and top. 1234. Now the same thing on the other side. Step back with your left raised and replace the right step together and tap. So that's 5678, the whole eight starting this year, right? 56781234567812345678. Again, as you can see, I'm keeping my left leg bent at all times. So when you step back, bomb sink into that hit and keep your leg bent versus stepping on the straight leg. So we go one sink and hip, 23456781234567. So it's a very different look. I'll show you again from the side. We step on a pant leg and push our hip out like this. So we go 1234567812345678. So make sure you step when you step in front and in the back, you step on the same line, then you're standing foot so you don't open up. And also you can turn your upper body slightly to decide. When you step. Boom, boom, boom. And 123. I open up my upper body to the side like this. And these are your mambo steps to decide front and back. Let's practice with music. We'll do two to the side, to front, and then two to the back. Let me just follow up care. 13. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 11 Mambo Steps part 2: Now I will show you how you can use your mumbles step and use it to turn. So let's start with a side step. We go 12. And when you close your leg, you just do a half a turn like this again. So we step out and shift your weight back to your left and then as you close your right leg to your left, you just swivel around half a turn three and tap on for, as usual. Let's do it again. So we go 1234 and then you do the same thing to the left and also turn half. So your face forward again. So we go 5678. So on the left it was the step out on your left, back onto your right. And then swivel around as you close your left leg and tap on your right. So both together. We went 12345678. From the front that looks like this. We got 12345678. You can also do a full turn around. Let's try. So you step out and you're right, back on your left. And then instead of half a turn, we turn full 3634. Let's try again. We go 1234. Now it's very important that you use your spotting that we learned when we did the step tans. And also engage your core. Shift your weight forward so you don't lose your balance. Let's try again. 56781234. And then we can do the same thing on the left, 5678567812345678. And from the front it looks like this, where you go, 1234578. Then you can also turn from when you step back. So we did a mumbles, stepped to the back and then turn around 1.5th. So we stepped to the back one to turn half and tap once more. Slowly. We go step on your right, shift back on your left, then you turn around and tap with your left. Once more, 1234. And then you can do the reverse with your left leg. We go five. 678, again, 12345678. Of course, you can also turn full from your back step. Let's just give it a try. We go 12345678. And from the front, 567812345678. The side term and the bacteria are definitely most common, but you can also turn from the front. When you do the front mumbles step, you turn to the other side. Let me show you. So we go 12 and this time we turn our, our right shoulder, 123 and tap on four again. So we go 1234. Ones more. 56781234. So you swivel around was you bring your right leg in and then we do the reverse with our left. We go 5678. So again with the left and facing this way, now we go 5678 once more if the left 12345678, just like this. So as you noticed with our sidestep, we turn if we go out with the right, we turn our our left shoulder. And the same with the Buck step. We step out with the right leg. Turn over your left shoulder. When we step to the front, we now turn our our right shoulder, which feels a lot more natural. And I'm going to look like, well, this is just a set of rules. Now let us go back to the same data set, S2 and S3. So the median is a little bit difficult. 14. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 12 Mambo with Turns: Now I will show you how you can use your mumbles step and use it to turn. So let's start with a sides members step. We go 12. And when you close your leg, you just do a half a turn like this again. So we step out and shift your weight back to your left and then as you close your right leg to your left, you just swivel around half a turn three and tap on for as usual. Let's do it again. So we go 123. And then you do the same thing to the left and also turn half. So you face forward again. So we go 5678. So on the left it was the step out and you're left, back onto your right. And then swivel around as you close your left leg and tap on your right. So both together. We went 12345678. From the front, it looks like this. We got 12345678. You can also do a full turn around. Let's try. So you step out on the right, one back on your left. And then instead of half a turn, we turn full 3634. Let's try again. We go 1234. Now it's very important that you use your spotting that we learned when we did the step times. And also engage your core. Shift your weight forward so you don't lose your balance. Let's try again. 56781234. And then we can do the same thing on the left, 5678567812345678. And from the front that looks like this, where you go, 12345, 78. Then you can also turn from any step to the back. So we did a mumbles step to the back and then turn around 1.5th. So we stepped to the back one to turn half and tap once more slowly. We go step on your right, shift back on your left. Then you turn around and tap with your left. Once more, 1234. And then you can do the reverse with your left leg. We go five. 678, again, 12345678. Of course, you can also turn full from your back step. Let's just give it a try. We go 12345678. And from the front, 567812345, 678. The side turn, back turn are definitely most common, but you can also turn from the front. Then you do the front mumble step, you turn to the other side. Let me show you. So we go 12 and this time we turn our, our right shoulder, 123 and tap on four again. So we go 1234. Ones more, 5671234. So you swivel around whilst you bring your right leg in. And then we do the reverse with our left. We go 5678. So again with the left, I'm facing this way now, we go 5678 once more if the left 12345678, just like this. So as you noticed with our sidestep, we turn if we go out with the right, we turn our our left shoulder. And the same with the back step. We step out with the right leg, turn over your left shoulder. When we steps at the front, we must turn our our right shoulder, which feels a lot more natural. And we're going to look like they were working on Asia. And I'll give you a little bit of a loop. Let us have a different set of data vector, data bus. So let me give you a little bit difficult. 15. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 13 Cha Cha Step: This next step, I call it a chapter step because it sort of has a look of a buckshot doorstep. But it isn't were still dancing by each other. But this time we're syncopated steps. I already explained that syncopation is when you step on that and beads. So instead of just going 12345678, you can use the ends. So 1234 or 5678 or 1234. All of these are single patients and we will learn loads of different variations of syncopation. But right now when learning a step that looks a little bit like a chapter step, let me show you. We start with a mumble step to decide who won. By instead of just coming together, we stepped across. So we go 123 and then we cinco pate. And four. Let me do this again. We go out, one, move away, back on to then step across on flee, shuffle your foot behind. And for once more we go 134. Again. We go 12. Step across on three. Bring your left leg close and step out on for faster. 56781234. And then we can obviously do the same thing on the other leg. This time we step out of our left. Five step back on your right on six step be left leg a cross on 78. So we go 567 and bring you rightly close and step out on eight. Once more on the left, 5678. Don't try to take big, big steps, make it quite small. So feels more natural. Let's try both. Cite 567812345678, again, 12345678. And this is how it looks from the front. 5678123456712345678. You can do this just step in all sorts of directions wherever you like to. So if the same step, for example, we can go 12 and then just go to the front instead of into our diagonal 123456. And we can even go to the back. 78. So let me break this down for you. We go to the side 12. Now, instead of crossing over a lot, we only step on the same line. Three, bring you left like Klaus. And for then we step on our left 56. You bring your left leg to the back? Seven. Bring your right leg close. And let's do it with count 56781234567812345678. And from the front this steps look like that. 5678123456. So 12345678. You can also do a chapter step from a normal basic. I'm talking about the basic you have learned first. So let me show you. This time we go out. One, close your left on to and then we do our church up to your right front diagonal, 34. Let's do that again. We go 1234. Once more, 1234, then we obviously can do the same thing to the other side. We go five, close and six, and then 78. Once more on your left. So step out on your left, on five, clouds on six, then diagonally chapter on 7878. Once more from the beginning, we go 12345678. From the front it looks like this. 56781234567812345678. And that's another way you can think of your basic step. A little bit of political grouping called login, and this is based on occasion. I know that other children, but he got a little set up yet. This suggests that. Then go on to look at the business. David Sassoon, which the saluted. 16. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 14 Box Step: This basic step, which is called a bach step, is another fundamental movement. So we start with our right to decide like always, one closely left on to now, instead of going again to decide, we go to the front three and tap on four. Okay, so that's the first half of the box. We go 123, top on four. So three steps and the top, like always, first one goes to the side. Together, step to the front and tap. Now we do the second half of the box. We stepped to the size of our left sides together, to the back of our left and top. So the second half of the books went step on your left, step on your right, left, and top. So let's do the full box. We go 12345678, right and left to right and top left, right, left and top. From the front, 5678123456781234567, eighth, right, left, right, left, right, left, and top. And this is your box that, so create a box on the floor with your steps. Then we have a little variation of it. When we twist. Let me show you. So on the first step out, we do a twist with our nice. So instead of just stepping straight, we twist our nice to the right. Form. One on twist to normal 34, then you do another twist, this term to the left, 5678 again. So we twist 12345678. This twist is only really visible when you're in your nice, you have your nice bent and you twist, boom. You keep your upper body straight to the front and just your lower body to the side, like this. And I'll twist step to the front and twist twist stuck to the back. 12345678. And I'm going to look like so. Let us use the data set on the development of the subject. 17. SS Bachata Ladies Vol1 15 Drag and Slide: In this section, I will teach you to different moves, which will break up the normal 1234 steps. And you can start playing with the music. We've done this already a little bit with our cinco patients in the charter step or in the basic with the triple step at the end. But now these steps are more about delaying and stopping. So let me show you. So instead of going 12, we're delaying the first step and we do it on two counts. So we go 12, and then we have to do the rest of the steps. Fast. 34. Let me do that again. So you do the first step into counts 12 and then 34. So it's the same steps but just different counts. So again, from the front, 6781234, once more, 56781234. And of course you can do the same thing to the other side. So we went 12345678. Again, just the 56123456 together out. Let's do it to both sides. 567812345678.
