About This Class

There are so many benefits to learning about and using essential aromatic oils in our daily life; from treating aches and pains, stress and strains, bug bites and stings.  Essential aromatic oils have therapeutic properties that naturally bring relief to many health ailments.  This course gives you knowledge of various essential oils.  You will learn to blend, dilute and apply these in self-massage treatments.  This course is for educational and self help purposes. 

Aromatherapy for self help is your essential guide to Aromatic essential oils.  This course is made up of power point presentations, articles and demonstration videos are on their way.  Students will learn about various essential oils, their therapeutic properties, therapeutic uses, blending, diluting and self-massage application.  There are also some suggested prescription blends.  Students will need to purchase some essential oils and a carrier oil if they want to create the blends and try out these essential oils.  Students also need to take note of contra-indications to massage and aromatic oils.

This course offers an alternative and complementary approach for minor ailments such as aches, pains, coughs, colds and flu's.  This course is for personal use of Aromatherapy essential oils and so for personal interest only.

The course, and Aromatherapy, does not replace the need to seek medical advice, referral investigation, and treatment.  If you are taking medication be sure to check in with your medical provider to make sure that the essential oils are safe to use alongside those medicines.
