About This Class

Lettering is a resource for visual communication and continues to grow in popularity due to the  promotion of handmade qualities. Animation is an emotionally captivating way to distill information. Bringing them together in your work is a powerful way to bring attention to your message.

I will walk you through:

  • Preparing a lettering piece
  • Scanning a piece into Adobe Photoshop
  • Setting up your layers
  • Using Photoshop’s Timeline panel
  • Creating a frame animation
  • Exporting your work to share on different social media platforms.

This class will focus on importing your own lettering and animation capabilities, so previous knowledge of Photoshop may be helpful, but is not required.

Access to Adobe Photoshop is required for this class.
