About This Class

This course is designed to give students a language foundation in ASL. The course will include: the origins of the language; the alphabet and fingerspelling; colors; animals; foods and drinks; family signs; feelings; professions; verbs and key nouns. Students have materials to use for practicing vocabulary and sentences. At the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate a short story in ASL with clarity

So fun and easy to understand
Very easy to understand for beginners.
It has been simple, explanatory, demonstrative, and as a person who is hard of hearing, who didn't have ASL in my life since I was extremely young, it has been teaching me a lot of signs I never thought of learning. Now, I'm officially on my way to achieving my goal of learning ASL, to be able to use it in daily conversations, and to teach my friends and family.
