For this class I’d love to see each of you create your handmade alphabet accordion book and post your pictures. That would be enough, but if you want to take it a step further and add content to your book, I’ve given you a list of suggestions in the class PDF.

The obvious content suggestion is to create an alphabet accordion book similar to the one I teach in this class. Your book can have any number of pockets, cards, or pages that you’d like. The three things that really matter for the content in this kind of book is that there are pockets, cards, and a theme -- all using the alphabet in an interesting way.

SUGGESTION : Thematic Alphabet

Pick a theme and create your alphabet cards using the theme as your guiding prompt. For example, you might create a book with the theme: The ABCs of Photography and come up with 26 different things to write or illustrate from the field of photography.

In the class PDF I give you an example list of what you might use to begin a project like this. I also offer some additional suggestions for themes.
