About This Class

Join Me, Kae Pea, and together we will make these whimsical, colorful "alphablocks". I will share with you some surprisingly simple techniques. It's a super fun project and a really neat way to create your initials, inspiring words or holiday themed gifts and decor. In this class you will learn how to make your own AlphaBlock---just in time for the holidays. This class is suitable for all ages and skill levels.

We hope that you will share your work with us here on Skillshare in the project gallery.

Kristen Powers

dreamer. maker.

Kristen Powers, a.k.a. Kae Pea, is an artist, illustrator and maker.

After many years of designing rubber stamps, teaching workshops

and licensing her work for greeting cards and quilt fabrics, she decided

to go back to school to pursue a degree in fine art. She graduted in May

of 2011 from Maryville University with a B.F.A. in Studio Art with an

emphasis in Painting and Graphic Design.

In 2012, Kristen bought RubberMoon Art Stamps, a stamp design and

manufacturing company that was founded in 1997.

She moved the business from Lake Hayden, Idaho back to the Mid-West

and now makes art and stamps, full time, in the historic little river town of

Louisiana, Missouri.

She is a firm believer in the magical powers of art making. Her own life has

been transformed through living artfully and being open to the call of her

imagination. Besides a paintbrush in hand and a blank canvas on her easel,

there is nothing she loves more than to share and inspire others to follow their

own creative dreams. Follow Kae Pea on Instagram
