1. Introduction to this Class on Adobe Spark Post: Hello there and welcome to class to in this Adobe Spark Siris on skill share In Class one, I gave you an overview The dopey spark and it's three components, post page and video. And in this class, we're going to take a more in depth look at Adobe Spark Post most the Web application and the IOS app, looking in particular at the seamless integration between them. So what are you waiting for? Enrolling this class today and give your Facebook and Instagram promotions the spark they need. You certainly won't regret it. And I look forward to seeing you on the inside. 2. Overview of What You Will Learn in This Class: Hello there. We're currently looking at the graphic that I created using Adobe Spark Post in the introductory class for this Siri's. It was an image that I created, using the instagram size template and using a photo from the Creative Commons images that you can search through from within Adobe. And if you would like to see exactly how I created this graphic, then you should enroll in the introductory class. If you have not already done so in this particular class, rather than just showing how easy it is to create an example image like this one within Adobe Spark host, I'm actually going to create an image for one of my niches. In this way, I think you'll get a better understanding of how I am actually using Adobe Spark for my business. Also, in the overview of Adobe Sparked Post, I only actually demonstrated the Web application. However, in this class I'm going to look at both the Web application and the IOS app, specifically, the iPhone app and tell the to are seamlessly integrated. In the next lecture, I should create a Facebook graphic for the promotion of my Slovakia Heart of Europe website from within the Adobe Spot Post Web application. And then in the following lecture, I will use the Adobe Spark I O s m too easily reap purpose this Facebook graphic firstly as an instagram graphic and then as a small animated video a feature unique to the IOS app also for use within Instagram. 3. Creating a Facebook Graphic in the Web Application: So here we are in the Adobe Spark Post Web application. And in this lecture, I'm going to create a Facebook graphic for one of my niches. It will actually be a graphic that I will put on my Facebook page about Slovakia. Then in the following lecture, I will repurpose this image as an instagram graphic. But I'll actually be doing that in the Adobe Spark I. R. S application. So for the time being, it is the Facebook graphic size that we need to select. And we're presented with the question, What do you want to say? And my answer to that question is, sent it, Ian, This is actually the town I lift in for over a year during my university studies many years ago. But it also happens to be where England, the country of my birth, and Slovakia, the country where I live, are going to be playing a rather important football match on the 20th of June. And so I have decided to create a graphic for my Slovakia Heart of Europe Facebook page in the lead up to this match insanity in on June 20th. So just click on, continue and wait for Adobe spark post toe load up the image. So, as you can see, Adobe Spark Post suggests a theme and a photo for our graphic, which we shall, of course, customized. And we'll start by changing the photo. I'm going to upload a photo from my hard drive, which I bought from Adobe Stop on, which is a graphical representation of England Plane Slav. Accurate football, In my opinion, the current theme doesn't really work with that image, so we can scroll down the suggested themes in turn and see if we can find another theme that is a better fit for our photo. Obviously, some of these don't work a tall that's not too bad. No, a bit better. That one might work if it's a different color. A possibility, I suppose. What about this one? We'll have to change the palate. That's much better. And we can also change the photo filters. So here's black and white. I like the Fremont filter. Yes, I think we'll go with that. The next thing we need to do is change the text, and we can easily resize the text like so and then, once we have decided on the size of the text. We can then reposition it. I think I'll just take it down to the grass like so. And the next thing I want to do is actually brand my graphic, so we'll need to add some more text w w w dot heart off europe dot co dot UK and you'll see that our new text has the same style as the existing text, which I'm actually going to keep. Now there are a number of things that weaken due to this text. We can change the shape of the border. So, for example, we can have curved corners. A diamond shaped I quite like this rhombus shape. I don't think that works. No that What about a banner? Now? I think we'll just leave it as it waas. We can use this circle to toggle some different styles for the text. Some of these obviously work better than others. Okay, we've come full circle and I think we'll leave it like that. We could also change both the color of the text and the border if we wanted to, But I'm looking to do that and we can change the font. Let's try eight months or it. Yes, that looks pretty good. We are also able to change the spacing of the border and change the alignment, not forgetting that we are able to easily resize the text by dragging these corner circles . And finally we can alter the A pass ity of the border. So let's bring it down a bit. I think I'll increase the spacing a bit, too, and move the text down a little bit. I think that looks really good. Now all we need to do is share the post. Once the post has been saved, we can choose a category for the post, so I shall choose sports. We can decide whether or not we want to share a post in the Adobe Spark community. And I can add my name and or photo here if I want to. And then we simply click on Create Link. I'm going to share to my Facebook wall to my friends and family. But then I'll also download the graphic so that I can post it to my Slovakia page later on . Okay, so there is my Facebook image. I'm really pleased with that. And in the next lecture, I am going to show you how to repurpose this graphic as an instagram graphic within the adobe Spark Post IOS at before creating a short animated video from the same graph e. 4. Creating an Animated Instagram Video in the iOS App: So here we are in the Adobe Spark Post iPhone, and here are the two projects that I created on the Web. But it is the Facebook graphic that I created for my Slovakian each that we are interested in, and once you open the post, you are able to delete it or you can edit it. You can duplicate the image, which is a great option if you would like to repurpose a graphic, but keep the original graphic as well. And finally, you can share the image you can send. It is a message or attach it to an e mail, and you can, of course, save the image to your photos. But for this video, we are going toe edit the Facebook graphic that we created in the previous lecture from within the iPhone app. You are able to change the theme by scrolling along the different themes. At the bottom of the screen. You can apply a new color palette again. You can scroll through the different palates like so, and you can change the filter of the photo. And these are the same filters that are available in the Web app. But it is the final option that I'm most interested in animation, which is only available in the IOS at and which allows us to change our graphic into a short video. Now we can apply a number of different effects, such as fate slight, Jerome zoom, pan gray. Well, uh, color and feel. And these are all cool effects to help your Facebook image stand out from the crowd. I think we'll select the slide animation Okay, at the top of the screen. You'll also notice some more icons, the first of which is the resize. I come and you can see that currently, the Facebook size is highlighted, and we can easily change this to any of the other sizes, including different social media sizes, all these standard sizes and, of course, the size for Instagram. We'll leave it as Facebook for now, though, and have a look at the next icon, where we could change the photo in the graphic if we wanted to. The next to that toe icon is text where, of course, we could add some text to the graph e. Finally, we have the save as icon, and as this is now an animated video, we get the option to save us a video as an IOS life photo, which is now also compatible with Facebook. Oh, as a regular image. If this was a instagram, I would save as a video. But as this is for Facebook, I am going to create a life photo. And once the photo has been created, we can share it to Facebook. I shall post this to my timeline, but before I do, I'm going to add a comment. The moment off truth and it's a simple is that one of the other ways are used. The IOS set is to repurpose a graphic for another social media channel, for example. We can instantly change this life photo for Facebook into a short video for Instagram, and we still get the opportunity to tweak things if we want, such as the theme the palate will change the photo filter. Let's change the Fremont filter to the Jewell filter. And of course, we can change the animation as well. I think I shall change the slide effect to a blood a thing. Yes, I think that works well. We don't want to change the photo, of course, but we do want to save our instagram graphic as a video. Once the video has been created, we are able to open the post within the actual INSTAGRAM application on their iPhone, where we are able to apply the usual instagram filters if we want to. But I'm not going to do that. Instead, I shall add a caption the moment off truth. And of course, I shall add some hash tags. HASHTAG euro 2016 hashtag England hashtag Slovakia while at a few more hash tax and post to instagram. So let's have a look at that animated video, and I think the blur effect works really well. It's certainly going to get out. Instagram posts standing out from other images. And this is the way I mainly used the integration between both off the Adobe Spark post applications. I start the project within the weapon, and then I create an animated video from the original graphic within the Iressa. Of course, if you wanted to, you could also begin the project within the IOS app and then later on, tied it up a bit within the Weber. Okay, so that's all from this video. Thank you very much for watching 5. Your Project for This Class: I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for completing the class. I hope you have learned a lot from this class.
