About This Class

Making your own repeating patterns can be a great tool for entrepreneurs, aspiring surface pattern designers, bloggers, or anyone who wants to design fun products with their own patterns on them. This is the third class in a series where you will create a seamless repeating pattern starting just from a hand sketch.  I cover a lot of fundamentals in the first two classes so if you have zero Illustrator experience, great!...but maybe start with the first class :) Check it out here!   https://www.skillshare.com/classes/Adobe-Illustrator-For-Pattern-Design-and-More-Turn-Your-Hand-Sketches-Into-Illustrator-Files/247377924/classroom/discussions?via=teaching&enrolledRedirect=1 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - In this class I’m going to teach you various methods of creating a seamless repeating pattern.  From Illustrators built in pattern tool, to making a custom swatch that you can apply to anything, you will leave this class with the skills you need to design your own unique pattern and more.  You will also learn about some cool companies where you can send your finished files to make fun artwork and products!
