1. Course Introduction!: Hi. My name? SDA and I have completed more than 10 hours of professional training at Adobe. So do you want to make something that looks exactly like this? If so, this is the records for you. Whether you're a beginner who wants to advance a skills in Adobe Illustrator are using all these tools to create this amazing project. Or you're an intermediate Who wants to improve the proficiency in Adobe Illustrator with creating more off thes fun, amazing beautiful projects. Or maybe Euronet expert It just needs a refresher on using self adobe illustrator stools. Then guess what I've got You covered this course I'll help you out with whatever you need help to make this amazing glass At the end of each radio, I save my work and that goes into the resources section off that lecture. That's format books. So the Mac OS on for Windows is well, so if you get stuck somewhere, if you don't understand something, well, just me happens sometimes. And guess what I've got you coat on. That is you can just go over to the resource is section and download the file for that lesson. That file will have whatever we've covered in that lesson and whatever we've covered so far before that at the end can also download this dot ai fell. 2. Creating our Background: Hello guys and welcome to the first video of this course. In this video, we're going to be setting up the background for our project, for our planet. So first thing we're gonna do is open up Adobe Illustrator. So let's find in say, OK, there it is. As you can see, hey, I've got loads of Adobe's tools. Probably user on half of these, the other half just there. Because of the subscription I get I get all of them. So I just install them and then someday maybe I will use them. So mainly just InDesign Photoshop, Illustrator, and copy, animate and aftereffects. There's pretty much the main ones. And then other ones like Bridge and stove, either huge damage. So we'll just wait for illustrated to open up. Again. That was pretty quick. And what we're gonna do is create a new file. So File New. And I'm going to name a say Lana project. And then Lesson one. And this will go into the resources section so that you can download this in case if you get stuck somewhere or if something's not working, then you can just easily downloaded my, the width is going to be 2560 by 1440. And we're going to stay in the RGB color mode. And we'll just go ahead and create. Okay. Oh, just wait for the SEWODA, right. Ok, that's really good. And now, first of all, we can add like this bluish, purplish, dark bluish background. So we get our rectangle tool and we click in the middle ones. And we can set the width to 2560 and the eye to simply 1440. So the same as our document. Go to stroke, will remove the stroke, which is this button right here. And then go back to fail. And fail is going to be 06062. So it's like this Doc Louis kind of color. And we'll just align this into place to do that, we go window aligned and we'll horizontally align it and then vertically. And that looks good enough to me. They don't need any Docker. So after we've got back already, that looks good enough to me. We can create like this, this little glow in the middle of our document, that low is going to be simply 1414 by 1440, which is the height of our document. Press OK. The Kahlo's comma is white because actually did that right over there so that we can see this better. Again. We're gonna go ahead and align this to that. Okay, that's good. Aligned up well, and now what we're gonna do is we're going to click on Phil. And we're gonna give this, we're gonna give it this gradient fills or white to black gradient fill. And we're going to click on gradient options. So it gets this, this panel outright over here that we can use. And here we are going to sell it to a great radial gradients. And then we're going to change, we're going to double-click on this side of the slider and just get all of these to a pure white. So recall y on that side and this side as well. After that, we're going to set your capacities to 0%. And then we're gonna click on capacity there and set that to overlay. As you can see, that brings up this really nice and umbra, it's not that bright because we don't want it, right? So it's a really nice little glow in the center of our document. Now what we can do is go ahead, ladies, and lock this up. So it's not gonna move anymore. And that is background. Don't. So that was it for this video. See you again in the next one. 3. Starting off with the artwork...: Hello guys, and walk back. So in this video we can get started with our line drawing of our actual project. So actual planet. First of all, we're gonna do is, so what I've done actually before I forget, I have saved this to my area. And this is going to go into like resources section and then you can access it there. So this part, you can access it there. Or it is for all of the lessons. So that's, that should be pretty good for you guys. So what I'm gonna do HIV as well, is go to Panel Options and eat aptitudes by doing and change that to 7070 pixels. So I gets a bit bigger and then you guys can see it yourself, right? Okay. So what we're gonna do now is create a new layer, which is this button right here. So create a new layer. And this is where all of our books going to go. So we're going to name that work. And we're going to name this background, so Vg, okay, now inside this layer, what we're gonna do is create a new ellipse that's gonna be five AD. And by AT, and this is going to be like the base of our, of our planet. So we'll just say that this has no ads, no fill. However, a has a stroke. And what I just did was I clicked on this. So earlier it was like this at a fill but no stroke. And then when he press on this is switches. So it goes to know Phil and yes, stroke because you're going to change a stroke to a white and a stroke of 1-point is pretty hard to see. So just but now up to two. It's going up. Okay. Yeah, that looks reasonable, I think. So. Let's go ahead and say Window, Align the Align panel and go and align it to horizontally and vertically to the board. And overhear. You should remember to select, Align two upward and not selected, at least for this case. Ok, so we have now got this and what we're gonna do is copy this and paste two more of them. To do that really easy. Just copy. And hotkeys Control C and then paste it in for hotkeys Control F. So, and again, just one more time. Paste in front. Okay, so now if we go to layers and if you finish up, we can see that there are three ellipses in here. I just make this smaller set you can see as well. Yeah. Over Haidt says ellipse. I will just make the panel small. Yep. So that's an ellipse so you can kind of see the EL. So that's one, that's two, and then that's the third one. This first one we call the base. And the second one, we're going to call it shine because this is the layer which is going to help us to get the shine for our panel. And we're going to close these both down. We don't need them for now. So what you should be left off with this one, again aligned to the center. And that. And so what we're gonna do now is we're gonna go and select this object. We're gonna say pus and then offset. So this and now object path of the path. And we're gonna say this in minors, the minus shelf, sorry. So now that just bumps in to minus shelf and now we have two circles. And over here you can see this. So this is the path. And what we're gonna do is copy and paste this. And what we're gonna do now is just name this. And again, we're gonna do copy and paste. If you are using the hotkeys, then that's fine. I'm not so that you know what I'm doing. So now we have this one here, which are going to rename that to yellow gradient. And we're going to use this one as well later. So we're going to I'm not going to push it off of there. So what I'm gonna do now is again, select this. In fact, we don't need to select again, all we need to do is paste in front because it's so Copy to Clipboard. They go, you see that there? There it is. And one more type, we're going to paste the infant, so any based in front. Now, this one, what we're gonna do for this layer, we're gonna go to Properties. And if your, if your workspace doesn't look quite like this, then what you need to do is go up here and then select onto essentials Classic. And if it still doesn't look like this, then what you need to do is go ahead and reset essential classics. And that should make it good enough for you to get ready and get solid. And if you couldn't see out there, then I'm pretty sure those one, right? Yep. So window and workspace and then you can select essentialist classic from there. And again, reset essentials classic if you need to. So this one, what we're gonna do is just make some small tweaks, right? Okay, so what we're gonna do with this, this one is we're going to go to properties. We're going to select. First of all, so layers to selectively just click over here and been selected. And so it's currently 1280 pixels was gonna bump in, say, a 100. And we'll bomb this one in 50. And as you can see here, we have another circle. So now shift x. And what that does, it basically does this. So as you can see, the hotkey for that is shift x. And so now we have this white circle here. Again for this as well, it's going to shift x. Now we are going to hold these two. So while holding down shift, we click on this one and then on this one as well. We'll go ahead to the Pathfinder, which is down here. And then we can say a minus front. And what that does is that it gives us this nice and neat crescent shape, which is again going to help us to add some more shine into our planet. And so what we can do now is get rid of, okay, so we can get rid of the color. Again. Shift x and there, yeah, we just have to point stroke. And let's just see if this is all to point straight. Yes, it is. And that makes us good to go. So that was for this video, and that was it for lesson two. Well, I'm going to do now is go ahead and file save as and then I'm going to say save it as a lesson two. And again, this is going to be in the resource section. So if you did get caught up somewhere, then go ahead and get this and you can follow along after that. 4. Adding a small highlight: Okay, so welcome back. In this video, we're going to be making use of the scissors to cut a B of the circled around. And so first of all, we're gonna do is select this one over here. And again, go ahead to object, path, offset path, and all say minor sporty. And let's preview this. Looks the right yet, so minus 40. And then what we can say it. So basically what we do is go ahead and get these Scissor tool. Where is the scissor tool actually? Should be around here somewhere. Oh yeah, there it is. So hotkey is C. And so what you're going to select that and now zoom it. So Zoom hockey is zed, which going to zoom in Toll-like. Now again, get the scissor two, so C, And we're gonna say one around here. And then we're going to have one like, Hey. And what about hey? Now, if we just get the selection tool and we select that, we deleted, as you can see, it only just Lee said a bit, left that one out and we had a bit more deletes. Okay. Yep, so that looks pretty good. I think we should be able to delete a bit more. Just zoom out and see what this looks like on a big scale. So ehh, delete, not get thing. Oops. Okay. Now let's undo that. Actually. Do this. We'll use the scissors again. So again, zoom in. And yet we've got anything yet. We're going to get one from to. And then like, hey, yep. And now we're gonna go ahead and sort these. Villi. Again, doing that as well. Now we should have a bit in the middle that we can know IA. And I think that looks pretty good. You might snip this bit off here. So ratio. Yeah. So happy as well. Yep, so that looks good to me. And so what's going to happen? A higher? And as you can see, it creates this kind of like a highlight effect. I light bouncing off it. So again, we'll deal with later. In fact. Oh yeah, so is this variety, so, and then that mirror right there. Okay, so let's go back to illustrate. So I will look at this again. O is smaller than Al-Qaeda's really matter either. Think that was the other one I made earlier. Tried out. Okay. So that was it for this video. You just made use of the system. And it's a pretty useful tool. So even when you are working on different projects, like later on, you can really make use of that tool if you have any problems with using it. Don't worry. Leave me a question in the question answer box or if you want, you can directly messaged me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I would probably say that he should leave a question in the question answer section because that way any should again get to you as well. So that would probably be quicker. Again. See you in the next lesson. 5. Giving our planet some rings and moons: Hello and welcome back. So in this video we're going to be like adding in the two rings that are going to be around our planet. And so that's going to be two ellipses again, even though it's going to be more of an oval, Daniel extra, First of all, is going to be 1050 by 40. And we're going to say, okay, so print one out right here. And then we're going to say just copy there. It's going to take an aside there, so copy and paste in front. So the second one that we have, we're gonna change the width to 990. We're gonna change the height to 200. Yep, so now we have got Turing's Bieber. Hey, we're just going to group these so that it's easier to move them, group them, move them around. And then we go into tilt them, something like that. He thinks that looks OK. Now again, go ahead and Ungroup disease and that works fine. Or maybe a bit more possibly. So I cannot yet. Okay, so now we're going to add in to root for our, for our planet. So it's go ahead, create an elipse. The moon is going to be 80 by 80 x. Again. If we just think that looks okay, just gonna move it now. So I'm gonna move it to like cares. Yeah, that looks roughly okay. And so what we're going to do now is go ahead and create an other ellipse. And that is going to be 50 by 50. And that is going to go near to the bot right there. You get further away. That. And now what we're gonna do is, again, as we have done, so has offset path, this time to 12 px. And we're gonna create this sort of border around this room. So we're going to be at three times. So tumour types, any area we need to select the biggest one, the outward path, and just press enter. Again. It just selects the biggest one. So we can just do this one more time. Enter when the adding the gradient. This actually looks really cool. Just to show you yet, it will have an effect like that in this really cool. So if you go back here and then again, we'll do the same thing for this book on Egypt. Two times. Path and 12 px, yes, Px. So these are all good. And so we've got our moons, we've got our two rings around an as well. So that was it for this video, and I'll see you in the next one. 6. Adding the surrounding shapes: Hello and welcome back. So Festival wise though we should do, is get these a bit better because they kind of looked a bit odd. So I was thinking is that we should like children around of it. So it's in fact that maybe even a bit more to go lift so that it looks like an actual planet. Because what happened earlier was that there was less on this side and sorry, it was less on this side anymore the site. And that looked a bit weird. But anyways and didn't do the off-screen. I did it in the lessons that you guys can also see and you can also follow along. Okay, so right now in this video, what we're gonna do is add a few more moons and add a fee of these. I'm going to show you what I mean by Hales and a second after I finish. Okay. Yeah. So Hales, I mean, these ones right over here. And I'm also going to add the stars. And we're also going to add a few means light. You can see him in there. You can see, I mean there you can see very sharp. So we'll do that in this lesson. First of all, a disc shaped kind of thing that overlaps this, which is this thing right over here. And it creates a bit of a blend effect into almond. So we're gonna create that first of all. And that is going to be an ellipse. So l ellipse and the dimensions are going to be, it's going to bring that into the centre due to five by five. And yep, so we'll create that. And then we'll go to our selection tool. Will move it to yeah, let's just move that to like that thing. And then we'll move this vector. That, yeah, I think that looks okay. And this can go anywhere you want, as long as it's it can go, hey, if you want, you can also go. Ok. So now we can have one of these smaller moons in the middle. And so that's going to be say, 40 years, say 20 by 20. And these, and we're going to have two of these. So one of them are going to go like cardio hay. And as you can see here, what happens is because it's so small, I keep on, when I shot a movie like this, it keeps getting bigger. And so to not make that happen or you need to do is go to View. And then we say hide bounding box. So hotkeys Shift Control B. So we do that. And now as you can see, that weren't happened. So it's easier to move around, especially when you're doing something like this. So we'll just move these into place to two of these inside the punny. And then we're going to have what else? Let's just have a look really quick. So we had one we had one right there. Oh, yeah. So we've got these two. As you can see, that creates a really good blending effect there as well. Looks really cool. So now we're going to add in. So tomorrow and they're going to be 40 by 40. So full team effort. Yeah. And then we can have two of them as you saw in the reference. So one of them right over there and then the other one. So what I'm doing here is old and then drag, so you pressing down old and then you drag it to whoever you want it to go. Probably should have mentioned that earlier, but that's OK. So after that, I think all we need to do now is the straws on the diamonds. Okay? So what we're gonna differentiable is we're going to add in those stores. So we're gonna go ahead and get ourselves tool. You're going to just make one. So holding down shift as I do this, I'm just going to make on this slide that wants to show you. And what you can do is you can say that you want it to have more than 5. So you can just hold you up arrow keys. So up hierarchy of hierarchy of hierarchy. And it's gonna go higher and go really high. And then you can get a lower shell by choline out your down arrow key. For this, we're going to have one like this, right? This, sorry. And as you can see, the this and that meant that they had pretty small o I can say the more fat then. And they like skinnier. So what we're gonna do is just simply that I removed that weren't visual. And then we're going to do that again. And then pressing down control command, we just drag it outwards. And as you can see, it creates a moral skinnier than say, more skinnier stall. So it, and then we can just use that and now we can make it small again holding down Shift. And while I do this, make this small thing yep, that looks around right? From that, we will move thought up. And then we can have another one. And then a smaller one here. Just gonna make it small. So I'm going to go view Chu bounding box and she's going to hold our shift, make smaller rehab therapy, so on. So again, holding Alt as I do this, and then you drop. Ok. And now we have our stores ready. So. Stars where basically these ones, right, a width will be adding the fail and all that later on. Okay, so now these halos tunes we can add in. So let go ahead and select the ellipse tool. We're going to drag out and delay. This side's going to be 15 by 15. So 15 p x. And what we're gonna do is festivals humans. So key of zed o, you can click on it. Okay? And now what we're gonna do is we're going to select our direct selection tool or keys a. And we're going to click on this anchor point right here. So just click on it once. And now hold down shift and then press the up arrow key. So a power key once to three times. Three is three times should be okay. If you want it to be less or more, you can do that. So just holding Shift while you do this, you can go up or down. And we'll just select this and kind of tilt around 245 degrees. So in fact, easier to do that is to select this thought and then hey, we can say 45 degrees. Okay. We can go for something like 270 to submit to mullet to think. Yeah, I think this is OK. And I think this is the right one. Fuel like this can be a bit bigger. So again, click on the anchor point and then you just, during that just 01 loss, we will get to click on the deaf. And that. Yeah, okay, so now we're just going to again, just zoom out of this. But before we do that, we're going to have a look. In fact, sour look. So yeah, we've got rounded caps. I thought we might not have their rounded caps, but we do so that's okay. Anyways, let's go ahead and go to film screen. That looks good. To me. Looks a bit small, but that's okay. Just made that a bit bigger. And now we're going to have a few of these, cuts it around. Again. We're gonna go view hide bounding box. Because as you saw, kept on high ground, invokes them around it. You can have as many as you want. Snow, kind of restriction with any of these, you can have as many stars as you want. You can now have a couple of more moons as well. That is fine. Okay. So think that it looks pretty good. So that was it for this video. This looks pretty good to me. We've done quite a bit. It looks erasure and the gradients and looks a bit weird. However, considering how we're doing the line doing, this looks pretty good. Okay, so in the next video, we're going to be looking at this slushy stuff in the middle, again line doing it Festival. I didn't put this in the middle. So we'll do that in the next video. 7. Drawing the sloshes: Hi there and welcome back. So in this video, what we're gonna do is add the slushy stuff. So we're going to add all of these. And before we do that, by thought we should do was actually changed these so that they have more of a pointy top. So what we're gonna do is go ahead and select the anchor point tool, which is shift C. All we need to do is just click on the top of this. So click there once. So thick there once for all of them. Should have remembered this earlier for I could've done this off-screen, but then again, there's no point of doing that. And they're okay. So as you can see now we have a really good teardrop shape and that looks more like what I wanted. Now, what we're gonna do is change the size of some of these. Because yesterday I thought we might have to yeah, we might just change a few of these sizes again that your view and it show bounding books get S1 X1. So holding down shift bodies around that size, remove a few without On that, on that one as well. We'll just click on this. Holding out all by do this. They're not doing now. Again, you gotta go and hide bounding box that. So we're going to have quite a few teas. And as you can see, it does look really good. I feel like that's a few too many action. And again, I'm going to remove these. That looks okay. To me. It's one more hit. Ok. So we've got our T drops can say, now what we're gonna do is create the slushy stuff in the middle. And so what we're gonna do for that is get the curvature pen tool. And this is the easiest way to do this, especially if you're new to illustrate. If you want, you can use the pen tool. However, we'll use this because it's easier. So what, how this is gonna work is we're going to go ahead and again, share mounting books, going to just click on this inner circle. The best way to do this is that the curve, the first curve goes like this. So exits like from the, from here. And then it comes in from like, then it goes down. So we're going to click on the closure Vento. If you've never used this, don't worry, it is really easy. Now we're going to click festival around. Say hey, ever gonna click at the bottom of our first, first slough? So you say, hey, and now just get another one to be around hazing and will exit from like, hey, can we reuse up? Yes, redo the actually. So from here you go to like the bottom to there. And then just yet, so this looks better. And now all we need to do is just get this off. And so as you can see, this is just affecting over there. So instead what we're gonna do is hold down alt while we do this. Okay, so sorry, hold, Yeah. So click on, say, a hold down Alt while we do this so that as you can see, it's not affecting any of the other components. And we'll just bring this back in to hit. And so if I let go of old, as you can see, messes up the other value that. So again, keep holding down and then click that and it joins properly. So what we're gonna do in a second is we're going to use the Pathfinder to make this as far as it will do that in a sec. We still have a few more to do. Okay. So yeah, I think yeah, that looks okay for now anyways, you can go ahead and go over that again later on if we want. Okay. So okay, so what we're gonna do now is we're just going to copy this. So that's Edit and Copy or control C. And then again, it's gonna paste in front. And so now we have two of these in which you're going to move on like down around here. We can treat this literal way so you can make it bigger. And so you can play around with this until it looks good enough to you. And in a finished piece, as you can see, this one's like down here. And then we have one going like that. And we're going to do that one next. Again, I'll just click if I just make this a bit longer. And this is the thing that I like about the curvature Pen tool. It's really easily customizable. So again, a really good feature if this thing. And yet I think I'm going to stretch this out a little more. Snow. Yeah, I think that looks okay to me. It looks bit which for now, but I'll be okay in a second. Okay, so now the last one. So now is going to go from the top of this. And then it's going to come back down, right? And now we're just going to all out of phase. Ok. I just clicked on that and actually let go anything now. But we can try anyways. Right? Okay, so we have got our three all of our three sloshes can say that. So all of them are ready. If you didn't, if you got stuck anywhere, don't worry cause what I'm gonna do right now is File Save As and less than six. So don't worry, I've saved this and this will go again. Esau says of that, right? So now we are ready to stop coloring this end so that we really fun. See you then. 8. Fitting the sloshes inside the planet: So hello guys and welcome back. This is our last lesson. Four, we basically go ahead to stop coloring our planet. And what we're gonna do is fish will remove this because that is not going to work. You're going to create a new one. It's gonna go like say around. In fact, Yep. And before that, I'm going to try and merge some of these inside the actual planet. So we'll just blocks of these out so that it's easier for us to work. This one as well. Okay. Now, for now. Okay, so this one's oh, before we do, before we merge into the planet, which is gonna make a few tweaks. So again, just make sure to think. And that looks okay to me. Okay? So what we're going to do now is we're going to click on there and control C, control F and shift. And then just hold on to this, go to our Pathfinder. And we're going to click on the, the one that says intersect. And as you can see, you just want it just did. Was it created this thing actually, that's actually inside our palate. But what I don't like about this, about this is that is a bit too small. So I'm gonna make it smaller yet. Okay. So these, okay, so edit, copy, pasted from holding down Shift, hold on to that, and then intersect. And that one looks okay to me. Not too about the law looks okay. Accidently moved it down a bit. Okay. So now we're going to see this one right here. Then your gonna do the same thing to this as well as to all Tricare pit? Yeah, looks around writing just to explore from here. Okay. That looks okay to me. Again, edit, copy, edit, paste in front of B and pasting from a hole in our shift. Those also hold this intersect and that looks pretty good to me. However, what I think is that it's a bit too low. Yes, I think it's a bit too. Weren't really that good. So. We're going to do is push this up a bit like that and hold this as well. And now intersect. Okay, that looks good enough to me. That's just okay. Yep. So that looks good. Now, the last one which is which like comes along and it creates a kind of shadow hey, at an emerges back into that. So lets, the reason why I didn't do that to route was because we didn't know what these you are going to end up like. So there's no point of doing this 1 first, so we'll just get one like that, just a bit lower than this. And one neither. This one moon here. And we'll just kind of like get it close. Today's We're not like right next to it. And then we'll just then and now and now just old pressing down while I do this, just get out of that. Okay, there you go. So now, as we did earlier, age is going to hold this copy. Pasting firm. Take tick that. And we are going to intersect. So now we have this bit left. However, the thing is that we don't need this very well. Hey, and we don't need this, or you're that either. So we're gonna deal with them right now. First of all, we select both of these. And then what we do is we go to divide. And then we go to a object. We say Ungroup. And now look at it. We can just delete it so we can just do whatever we want. However, when you try to remove this, it actually doesn't work because what's happened is we need that me and we don't need this way. So it's really easy what we need to do or we need to do is first of all, zooming. So Zed, or it can just click right over that. And so we're going to zoom in here. And now we're going to use the seizes, the illusion where there is a, you can do this where we're going to use as serious as I think it's pretty easy to learn. Lc is a pathfinder, However, this is preferred. So all we need to do is find out where the path. So that's right over there. And then the path right over here, which is that now we click on our selection tool and we delete. I was the reason why nothing actually happened was because I forgot to do that. It actually oppressed escaped by accident. So just go and Gauss's is again. So from there, like that old up. And we deleted quite a bit of that pretty easily. And again, we're just going to go ahead citizens alone. So there delete and then we got so all we did that was basically deleted the extra bit. And if you go if it's on screen, it not looks really good to me. Looks good enough. And we're just going to this like that. And that looks good enough. If you are having any problems with using this quizzes or if it doesn't work, then don't worry. Because what's going to happen right now? A's file save as less than seven. So let me go with don't. And now, in the next we do. Guess what we can do. Yes, we can stop cleaning this aim to become something that's better than this. And that's awesome. 9. Download the Swatch and colour in our moons: Hello guys and welcome back. So in this video we're going to be in this. So now we can insult to color in planning. And trust me, it's going to look like ten to 15 times better. So official, and it just spotted yesterday. In the last video, sorry, was starting to move this down, began it and doing the video, I'm Jenny right now. So you can do if you want. And yep. Okay. So what we're going to do now is go ahead and open up swatches, because that's what we're using to color swatches. We're actually going to open up close. And when you open it, you'll probably going to be a smaller window. Yours is probably going to be around like language. But then just expand out so you can see better. And then you all you gotta do is click on shortcut libraries menu. And then you're going to pick on other library. And then go to wherever you put this resource, the swapped. So I'm going to add this to the resources section. And you can download this. You don't have to write in all the color-code all at the time. So if you're on Windows and it should only this one. And the OS ten, I've also got one in that folder there. So I'm just going to open this one. And as you can see, just oh, and other swapped. So the cars were going to be using is actually the service. All of these in this photo, all these like already there. But we can close this one down. We'll move this like inside there. And so we're going to be using these just made out of it that we see. We can see that we're not missing out any colors. Ok? So we are going to be using these and we're going to be heating gradients for literally everything. So let's get started. So first of all, we're going to start off with these two moons, and that's what we'll be doing in this lesson. So first of all, we're gonna do is we're gonna select that. And we'll click on this gradient, right? Therefore, they felt so back in right gradient and it doesn't look good. But don't worry. We're going to go ahead and change that right now. Again, go over to Windows, to window, sorry. And opened up a gradient. Getting gradient. Gradient will put it in there so that you can find it whenever you need it. And hey, what we're gonna do is not o. And here we're going to select these first two call us in the soil in the AIA file that I will include. So first one goes down and the second one goes down, it's just drag and drop and you slide it down there. Okay, so that is a pretty good gain and visual. Or we're gonna do is remove the stroke, no-slip. There aren't any strict anymore for stroke for all of these. Okay? Now, what we're gonna do is basically have, so we're going to have a different gradient for like literally all of these. And I'll show you how you do that in a second. Okay, so what we're gonna do is currently doesn't look that good when we look at the original piece, that looks really good. Okay, so we're going to do is select all these authoring tool, not gonna select that one, select this one. And then the oneness outside of that, and then the one, it's like the last one. So we're just going to select all of these thing. Yeah, okay. And what we're gonna do is go to Properties and set the opacity to light. You say like 15%, say 16%. And now as you can see, crazed out really nice-looking glow. And before we do anything else, we're going to go back to our gradient panel and hear him say 90 degrees for this right over here. And we're going to flip it around. So select all of that. Let's say 90 degrees. However, I want the yellow to be on the top and bottom. So just flit around and that is don't so that's what Yvonne wounds. Don't know. The second one right over here. Select that. I'll give it a gradient fill. However, then we're gonna put in the next two colors, and that's this color right here. Festival just struck them and get them up there. And then the color after that, which should be yeah, which is this one. Okay, so now we have two other rings. Hey, so we're going to select those Turing's. We're gonna say knows true. Just no stroke. So no shirt. And then we're going to again say 90 degrees. Flip around and DO pass. He teas got 16. Right. Okay. So again, we have the other mirror right there. In fact, I think that's a bit too lie. So for us to go ahead and remove that, the film should be this gradient. And so the fail, just dragging the say seminar and then it'll drag these to so and so on. Okay. So now what we're gonna do is change this to a normal gradient or radial one. You're gonna say 90. You have to do this again because the other one wasn't done properly and we're going to flip it around. Actually, no, we're not gonna flip around this time. Have no stroke. And the outside ones we actually going to get the capacity of higher to yourlist. So let's get down to like 2024. Yeah, okay, that looks very good. So as you can see, we've only just added two bits of color. And again, that looks really good. So that was it for this video. I'll see you again. And the next one. 10. Adding gradients to the inside of our planet: Hello guys, enroll comeback. So again, in this video, we're going to carry on with coloring a few more of these things. In. First of all, we're going to start off with overlapping, with this overlapping disk thing. And what we're gonna do is get a gradient. And we're going to go for the next year in line. So that's this blue. We're going to swap that with this. And the pink, the light pinkish color, which is again going to be sought. And this looks right to me actually. What I want. He I think that looks right. However, what we need to do is arrange bring forward sorry, arrange to fund, and then send it back one time only. Quote array1. And good. Let's just have a look at it. So encoding you, hey, submit to low. We want it to be in so that we can see one of these lines but not the other one. Ok, actually it doesn't matter. Okay. So just keep that for there now. Just send it to pack. Range, sent back. And that looks good enough. The only thing that's not good enough is district because you don't need one. Think I have a bit more. You might change the angle up to like 30 degrees or actually no. Because I wanted to blue to be down that. So we're going to have to change it angle, something like this. So it's getting higher. While I'm doing that. I'm just looking at the I think that looks okay. Scab it more glue and a bit higher. And now looks good enough to me. Ok, so that is don't now we're going to get on with some of the other things. So okay, so now what I'm gonna do is let that go to Properties, opacity and Color Dodge. So what that's gonna do is that it comes up with this really dark and extreme color. And what's going to happen later on is eye's going to create this kind of like to a bit of this. So first of all, let's go ahead and now select this. And we're going to add in a gradient, and we're going to select the next two colors. Services really liked pink, like, really like pink. And then a bit more doc. So okay. Now what we're gonna do is So what we're going to have is light on the Poisson and then dock on the top. So again, get the angled degrees, not nine hundred and seven ninety degrees. Probably wanted a bit more. Pink and white. That looked better. So what we should do is something like a 100 degrees. And what we wanna do is get this light back to the top. So just flip that around. Yeah, that looks pretty cool. I think. Just play on this slide and have a look at what you like the most thing There's looks pretty good to me at 70%. And now the next one in line. So what we're gonna do is just, just thinking what color would probably be the best. Let's just have a look. Is right yet. So it is indeed the next in line. Which of these two? So quickly go ahead, select this idea now gradient. So we're going to do this, but first, we're going to add in our gradient of say this. And then we have like a doc bubbly. And then we're going to like say 90 degrees around. A lot more like to then darker blue. And just like a bit of leeway with that would be a bit womb so that the nucleons are like, Hey, yep, that looks okay to me. Thing looks pretty good to me yet. So that looks good enough. We can get rid of the fill. And what we're gonna do now is have a look at this. Yep, so within a coloring, this behaves. And the thing is that remember how we used the Cigital because the Pathfinder was acting funny that time. There's something wrong with Illustrator. Or going to have to do is go ahead and yet, so lesson six, which is going to copy this from lesson six, and then just paste it in here. And this is what we actually started to draw from, so it would be pretty easy to get it back. Okay, so what we're gonna do now is coloring disparate. And again, that's going to have a gradient. Fill gradient. Gradient. Yep. And is going to have something days and they serve the same as that basically. And what we wanna do is have it basically so that, yeah, that looks pretty good as said earlier. However, some of these stable half. A white think so we don't want that, you know, when that might fail for any of them. Now, guys, if you have not done something right, or if you miss a step, then this might not look exactly like you use. Yeah. So if it doesn't, then don't worry. You can just ask me documents as me. Oh, asking the question, answer. And then someone will help you out. Chicken the kinda move this a bit, so that looks better. Okay. You've got there. It's controls edge goes, I'm going to leave that. Ok. So around now looks pretty good. 1.5 is the light blue on the top and then the dark down there at the bottom. So because then this can really be emphasized. Sibley and then maybe a higher angle. Gaps are the abuse that lots where it goes. That's pretty good. Let's click Submit to Muslim to that side. So something like this should be fine actually. Again, as I said, I really need that light blue, right? That emphasize what this looks like. So now we're going to zoom in as I can see. It doesn't quite look way well, that we're going to kind of add some tweaks and things like that. So this uncoupling chlorinate that now just about to fit on screen because you must have messed something up from that. Yes, we have just going to stretch this outfit. And that looks pretty good. That looks good enough to me. Let's just we'll kick it back to illustrate. That looks good. That looks good as well. To Mina can just feel like there's something there. So what shape this? So you can see something in writing with that. You can't really see it when it's like this, but still. Ok. So that looks pretty good to me. Now, all we need to do is kind of fixed that they submit slightly smaller. That possible. Yeah, that looks pretty good. You might just make you like tiny, tiny repeater. Yep. Yep. So this looks pretty good to me. This gradient as well fits pretty well. We need to pay more of this blue, I think. Yeah. And we're gonna keep this, so this looks pretty good. And we have a bit of a problem. We have kind of lost in the altering. Think we've lost the artery. Think. Yes, we have loss or income but that's okay. Oh, we need to do is object plus offset path. And that was going to be plus 12 this time because we're actually going to look right. Yep. That's good enough. Again. So that was it for this video, guys. See you again. 11. Adding a wonderful shine: So hello guys and welcome back. This file also has been saved as the Less than eight. So again, you can have that if you did like miss anything out or if this didn't work out for you, is this is usually the steps, the students, um, that doesn't work. So I'll do ask in the question answers section or directly messaged me as I've said, like loads of times. Or again, you can just install the AI file and follow on from here. Okay, so now what we're gonna do is because we've got this ready. We've got this ready. We're going to go on to start working on to our little all these stars and all that. Okay, So let's go. But before we do that, what we wanna do is get some of the shining. So first of all, we're going to go and select this question shape. This is the time for this to go and bring it to front. As you can see, you're probably going to be on the top right there. And this right over here is right now making no effect, which is probably at like the bottom. So instead what we're gonna do that is say object transform, bring to front. And as you can see, the crease habit of gradient right there and it looks really cool. So right. The crescent again probably is. However. Yep. Okay. So just delivering that to the phone. And now what we're gonna do is create this bit of schein To do that what we're gonna do is select on two. And we're going to say that it has no true. And we're gonna give it a white fill, suggests plain white fill right over there. Okay. Now we're gonna go to properties. We're going to click on capacity, your gonna say overlay. And we're going to set this to dinner like 2520%, 20% and creates that bit of shine over there. You can kind of see it and it creates a tiny bit of shiny without really like get up higher to make it look a bit more effective. Maybe 30%. That's a bit too much she honest. Twenty-five twenty five percent. And yeah, that looks that looks really good. That shine really like helps our image off. So that looks pretty good as you can see here. The shine right there as well. So what we're gonna do now is again, okay, there is illustrated. And what we're gonna do is first of all, we're going to start with these. So what we're going to say is that they are. So what we're gonna do, in fact, before we do that, we're going to Faso controls that. I think we should actually just finish all the planet first, finish the main whenever we can go into this more stuff. And then we can probably implement the college in their messy looking at how this looks. And then we can have pedicles. Okay, so let's go ahead to low yellow. Remember we said low yellow down there. Do not say that. Okay. So yeah, there is. So what was it? Yellow gradient? Yep. And so if you're going to bring that up, we can now see that. Right? Where is it? Ok, and now just bring that to font. So object orange and that Brink to front. Now what we're gonna do is we're gonna give it a gradient again. And we're gonna give it these two. So it's going to have this in yellow and then like a darker yellow kind of gradient. And then what we're gonna do it, and we're going to set the angle 135. And we're gonna select, we're going to click on this light, yellow stop. And we're going to set the capacity to 0%. As you can see, it creates a really nice bit of yellow that we're going to change the direction of that selection down here now. And we're gonna get it lower, like follow the luck. So like somewhere around that. Amy even less. Yeah. So something like that looks pretty good. Say yep. And now we're gonna go over to, in fact, we can actually probably like changes around a bit. We can weave around. That looks pretty good to me. Just try and river on a bit more to see exactly where we want it. And that looks pretty good to me. Yeah. And that has a strict we're gonna remove the strobe. And in fact we can go, we can again select the yellow gradient and we can go over to capacity so that your hard light. And as you can see, it created a better gradient right there and set the opacity to like 80, 80% percent. As you can see that really liked glow in the Watson. Just squeeze that up a little much. We really wanted to be like barely any STI really stands out and it's really easy to see as well. Okay, so that looks pretty good. Now what we're gonna do is like the base of our plan. So what we're gonna do is now get our bass player, which is again going to be like somewhere around here. There it is. Select, select that and then bring that to the top. So bring fruit. And it should be at the top right over here, which is, again, we're gonna give that a gradient. Just give it a normal gradient from white to black. And then we're going to actually make use of these two Pink's. So without light pink going on there, that darker pink going there and set this to something so that this light pinks like at the bottom. So like a 135. That's pretty much perfect To be honest. So that's pretty good. Now what we should do is go to Properties. And before we do anything in there, we're going to knock the opacity down to 0%. So as you can see, that looks pretty good to me, looks pretty decent. However, then we're gonna go to hell. And we're going to set that too hard light and set the opacity to 55% except 55. And now that looks really good. So that looks really good. Now, we're really getting into this really awesome planet now. Okay, so let's keep, and what we're actually going to do is actually this around. So you can now flip around. Yep, and this loss even better yet, and we're going to send this base right to the luck. After all, it is based. So again, we're just going to say object, arrange and sent back. So like down there, like straight out. Okay, now we're going to select these two rings, these showering overhead and the thinking probably select them from hair. So yeah, that one and that would just select both of them. So if holding down shift, why I did that, and we're just going to swap these two around to shift x and to really show you what's going to happen next. And what we're gonna do is open up our Pathfinder. And we're just going to say minus front. So we're just going to click on that. And that gives us this border that we can now work with. We can give this gradient, are in fact no. This time we're not going to give it a gradient. This time we're gonna work with this. It's kinda pink color. Yep, so that looks pretty good. Now again, we're going to go over select these slack, what we were working with k. So, okay, what did I just do? And so we're going to set that color to light pink. And that's exactly what we wanted to do. Shit. Okay. So when we were right over here, yes, so we selected this befall, our massive cube thinking there. Okay, so we selected both of these thing with these EFA. Yeah, we selected both these holding shift as added up. And we got rid of the stroke. We gave it a fill. And then all we did was went to pathfinder. And then we said minus STAT1, that leaves us with that border. Really good border, just adding like a pale pink. So each go to Properties and set the capacity to overlay. Okay. Nope. It will select law. Yep. And then the opacity. So that overlay. And then we'll, we can always knock this down a bit. So it's just saying that 60% for now and then one we can get higher, we can get it lower aswell assist, say 55. And so that's I think was one of these things have like a fail and need to get rid of the fail. So just have a look at what might be all be somewhere at the bottom because we don't exactly get it. It's probably one of these things. See, I think actually that one doesn't have a fill. So OK. We can just oh, just come back to that later. Because something like a stroke over here. So we can come back to that later. For now, we'll just get on with the next. Yet a fill is probably the base. Base probably hasn't felt. Yes, it does. Now we can just remove that and that looks really good. Ok. So we have now got that ready as a well, now the next thing. So what we're gonna do now is go ahead to get our shine. Turn up on. Get up all the way to the front because you're going to start working on that now. Again, we're gonna give that like no border. However, we're going to give it a gradient this time. And it's just going to be white to white gradient to be double-click on that. And then we just select y. Double-click on there again, just y right here. And then say we want to write that as, okay. So now we're going to set the opacity down to 0%. And we're going to go over to Properties. And we're gonna go ahead. And before that we quickly say 135. And looks okay to me. You're going to set that to overlay. So the opacity to like 50%. Yeah, that looks pretty good. Shrine like bumping it alone. He I think this is like this. It looks really good. Okay.
