1. Introduction: Hello there. Do you want to get into the treaty world and learn to create, edit and work with three D designs than discourse is your way into dead world in the scores Out explained to you d Adobe Dimension Software, which is specialized in creating three D designs using ready to go materials and a set of easy and simple tools that I will explain in full details as well. And we will work on a bunch of examples and I will show you how to create school and consistent designs and also how to eat it in pain, your designs then removed to see how to manage lights, angles and lots of other stuff. All this and more is in this course, so all they have to do is watch and apply what you learn to become a professional. 2. Interface: hello and welcome to the Adobe Dimension course. In this course, I will explain to you the software and how to use it to make treaty designs. So we have here the software's interface. In here we have on the left, we have the tools bar and the models. You can choose any objects or a model from here and drag it to the workspace like this. As you see, we have here all those objects and we have the materials we have here delights and the images on the right. We have the properties. As you see. We have here the metrics of the design, the woods, the heights, the units we have the pixels, inches or centimeters, and we have the resolution. Then we have the great the great means. These two lines right here. You can change their color from here if you want. So this is the software interface. It's really easy and simple. Didn't we have you to render interface which enables us to render and extract extract our projects? When we complete a project, we render it and we exported or extracted. So we covered the software's interface and that would be all for this video. Thanks watching. And I'll see you in the next video to talk more about the software 3. Tools explaining Part 1: Hello and welcome to this video. In this video, I would explain the 1st 3 tools into tools war. We start by adding any objects or model by selecting it and dragging it right here. You put it in the center, electors. Then we select the first to the select in the move to it's shortcut is V from the keyboard . And when you select the soul, you get district arrows right here and using these arrows, you can move the object anywhere you want, for example here to move it to the right, then here to move it to the left and we click here to lift it like this. So this is the select animal toe, and the second tool is the select and scales all its shortcut and the keyboard is s. When you select it, you get thestreet boxes right here instead off the arrows. Using this only have been added the scale of the objects like this. You could make the objects bigger like this. You can always put invented few ones from here as well, and you can make it longer like this. So this is how you it it's just that scale off the object and we have you to select and brought a tool. It's shortcut is error from Is our from the keyboard using the streets, stuff circles you could rotate the objects like this. You can select any position you want from here as well. You know what it looked like? This. And of course, the third circle like this and you can edit or move the object from here as well. Dis click and read like this. And we have your position, the rotation and the scale. So that's it for this video. Thanks for watching not see you in the next video. 4. Tools explaining Part 2: Hello, everyone. And welcome to this very We continue our talk about the tools in the former video which off support thestreet rolls right here and now we start with the measures 12 The soul is the same India Adobe software is like for a shop, etcetera. So if you're familiar with the photo shop, you won't know what I'm talking about. We used this sort of select parts of the objects. I was select another object as an example. For example, this one it's full again. Now let's say that I want to select this part. Hello. All I have to do is to select the measure Oneto like this. Then click here and here we are. The spot is selected or I could select this part like this. Zoom in a little bit so that you can take a good look. Here we are. We have only this part selected. If you want to change its color with selected using the measure one told then we go here and here we are. We have changed on Lee the color of the sport. For example, I was living this book, This one we're here and I change its color Like this example. I used this one. Andy Weir takes a little bit of time to buy the change and here we are. The color is changed and Onley the color off the part we selected not the whole model or of it. So we use the magic tool to select certain parts of the object. And it is very useful if you want to change the color of just a part of the object on not all of it. Now we move to the next talk the simpler tool. Now I will add another model or object. Is your moat for example this coffee cup right here? He really Now let's say that I want to paint this object with the same color as this one. Instead of going all the way here and looking for color. All I do is select the part I want to paint that I used to separate to to copy the color like this. So we have selected the park. Then we have a simple tool. We copy the color like this, and here we are. The object is painted with the same color as Theodore. Same thing for this book. Selected like this, Then we use the sample, and here it is. It's painted with the same color. So basically the stool copies a color from one object to the other. Change this Scott electors, for example, this one here, dark blue anywhere. So, as I said, this will copies a color from one object toe. The other just select part used the separate tool. Copy the color, base it in the other part. So these are the measure. Want toe on? Several told. That's it for this video dance watching and I'll see you in the next video. 5. Tools explaining Part 3: Hello and welcome to this video. We continue with the tools, but I start by explaining the orbital. Then I moved to the next ALS. Use of this tool is easy on. We have to do is click, select the tool, then click and drag like this to change the view off the objects or the model like this, the select tool. Then click and drag like this to change the view off the object. So, using the sooner we can take a look at the object or the tool or the model from any way we want, just click in track and keep going until you get the view you want. Then the next tool is the pencil. Using this soldier, you click and drag to move through the projects like this. For example, I would put this object here. Then I can use the pencil to move like this. Just click and drag to move same concept as the orbit tool. Then we have here the dollar to We use this tool to zoom in and out like this. Click pull up or down to zoom in or out. So that's it for this video. Thanks for watching announce. See you in the next video 6. Tools explaining Part 4: Hello and welcome to this video. In this video, I would explain the rest of the tools into tools bar we have here the rising tool and I will show you how this tool works. We will take a look at an example of how the stool works. So first we get this image right here. You put it right here. And as you see, these two objects does not match the image. So we used the whole horizon tool to put the objects in their rights position like this. Then we used the orbital to fix them even more like this. That's perfect. And you can adjust them from here as well. As you see, we used the horizon tool and the orbit tool to fix these objects and match them with the image to match the floor and the image. Then we have here zoom tool, right click. You get this window and you can zoom in and abs as you like. Like this. So, man, or zoom out like this. So we consuming, announced as much as we want is in the central. And the less tool is the handle which allows us to move the image like this. Just click and drag to move or position the image whatever you want. So we have covered all the tools in the tools bar and in the common videos we will go into a more advanced level. So that's it for this video. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next video. 7. Add models to the workspace: Hello and welcome to this video and this video. I'll show you have to add models, whether it's from the software's library or from outside the software at all. So first go to the models, and these are the ones that comes with the software's library. You could choose anyone from them and added to the workspace to add any model to work special to the workspace. Just double click on it, and here we are. You can zoom in or out, and you can add anyone he wants as well. Just double click and the model is added to the world space. Or you can add them by selecting them like this and dragging them to the workspace like this. So it's either double click or select and drag like this, and you can add as many models as you like. Now we delete this one's. So these are the models that come with software and how to add them to the workspace. Now we will move to the outside models. Let's say that you have some models that you may use that you made using some other software, and you want to add it to these two. This software right here. It's very easy and simple on Earth. It is to go to file import pretty model. Then you locate the model you want and you select it. There is an important thing you should know the models you want to add needs to b o B g file. It needs to be the Obie G file type. Otherwise it won't open into software. No, I select the fight like this and I click open. He waits a little bit, and the model is added to software. Zoom in to take a good look at the model, and here we are. This is the model, and we just added it to do so far. And of course, you can eat it or adjust it as much as you want in just its size, its scale, etcetera. You can put it anywhere you want. Like this position. It's center rates or lives on the left or on the right could change its view like this. Same as any model. You add it from the software's library. So this is how we ed internal and external models to the software and to the workspace. Sometimes you may buy some three D models, but you need to edit them. So this is how to add them to the software and edit them as you like. Just always remember that the file or the model needs to be O B G type fire so that it can work properly in the software. Otherwise it won't work. So always remember RBG file. And as I said, You go to file imports treaty model, you're located. And as I said before RBG file type, you could open and it will be added to the software and the workspace. Simple and easy. So that's it for this video. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next life. 8. Change objects color: Hello, everyone. And welcome to this video. In this video, I will show you how to change the object or the model cover in the former video. We talked about how to add models to the workspace interview. Click and drag them like this or double click on them and they will be automatically added to the workspace now, which is the size of this model. That's good. We have here a model off a bottle, and it consists of two parts the cap and the body to change. The color is very easy. Just click you and we have here the lead and the bottle. Before we change the colors, I will show you how to edit or adjust or even move. The lid on we have to do is to click you. Then you go to a rotation and you go like this. As you see, Step is moving the new go to position like this to move it. I want to put it whatever you want. As you see, the lead is removed from the bottle. And even as I said, you can put it whatever he wants, we will put it right here as an example that's better. Now, as you see there are separated from each other and the bottle is on his own. So this is how you can remove or take the lead or the camp away from the bottle in this example applies to any type of models. So I will take a look at another one. For example, we had this small job right here. It just its size and put it right here. And now we will talk about changing colors. I just It says a little bit just like this. That's better. So we go here and we have really two parts the jar on the lead. And so let's say that we want to change the color off the job. For example, we click here and we get this property is right Here we go to base color click here and we select the color we want. Just like this. As you see, we have multiple colors. You choose any color you want. I would go with this one right here and we have your DEA bestie. You can adjust it like this. We have here the roughness. Have you met Solich? Metallic. Sorry. And as you see you can adjust it as much as you want. Same thing for the glow. So from here to you, it just settings off the color. You can always change the cutter back to any color you want. If you want to change it, just go here. Go to here. Noto Base color. And here we are. You can change the color to any color you want for me. I would go with this, Governor. The green, that's it. Or maybe I would go with black. That would be good to be better here. That's better. Black, angry. And as always, you can adjust the roughness, the metallic, the glow on d bestie from you until you get the view or the look you like. So this is our model or our object, and we have changed its color. And this is how you changed the model or the objects color. You can go with the match in color between the light and the jar, or you can choose any color you want. It depends on your project and on your point of view. And you can always change its back if he wants and just go here. Same thing we did with the first color. Go here and then go to base color and you change it to any color you want. In case you wanted to edit it later or anything else. So that's it for this video. Thanks for watching. And I'll see you in the next video. 9. Add and edit materials: Hello and welcome to this video. In this video, I'll show you have and materials to the models and how to change the background and have to add your own personal logo to the object. First, let's talk about the materials. So we go here to the materials menu. You can select any materially want as we have here. This is the object we have the cap and the body, the cup and the lead. As you see in here, we selected like this is like the little slip the lead like this and cup as well. You can select anyone who want from This is just an example. So we will go with the cup or the body and we select any material, for example, was like this one to click on it. And here you have the material added to the object. You can always change it if you want. Like this. You select any material, new ones just click on it and it would be added to the model. And from here you can just be offset like this. So we have you the properties and you can adjust them as you want. Now, if you want to add the same thing to the lead. Click on it like this was left the material, for example. It's blessed it like this anywhere or metal. And as you see it's headed to the model or the object of your wax gold, you can select anyone you want. So this is have ed material to the model or the object. And now we move to talk about the background. So first I'm gonna add a model in here. Example. This one. I just did like this. That's better. And now we will talk about how to change the bedroom. I would add a background. So I go here to round bottle and as you see, we have here this one, the bottle and the lead. So I click on the bottle and I click here the night go to actions, and now I will select the bedroom. For example, this one. I have it here open and here we are. The background is added to the design like this or the model in this case. So this is how to add a Bagram or photo or image to the model or to the object Here, take a different look at the model. That's good. Now I would add another model and we will talk about adding logo. Just like this woman here. We just its size a little bit. Here it is. Go here to its file. And is this you have here the lid and the cup. We will select the cup. Click here because actions and I have the logo ready. Right here. And here we are. The logo is added to the model, and you can adjust it until it fits the model. Of course, they just in one depends on the model you are using. Have you got so we would put it right? That's perfect. And now our logo is ready to go. Here we are. Take a look at it. So this is how we add materials, models and how we add a background and how we add a logo to the models. So that's it for this video. Thanks for watching. And I'll see you the next one 10. Add backgrounds to the design: Hello, everyone, and welcome to this video and this video will talk about the background and how to make the models or the objects fit in the background. So first we add any model. For example, go with this one. It's a beverage again. Now we will adjust it. As we saw in the former videos. You go here to base color and we changed the color like this. We just the roughness a little bit. Metallica's well and the glow make it like this. That's good. No, it's just the color like this will make it impeach black. Now we go to images to add the bedroom. You can select any background you want. For example, I would go with this one, and here we are. The background is added, and as you see, we have multiple backgrounds. You can choose anyone you're like. Now we need to just the model to fit in the background. So we use this tool to do that like this same thing here. Keep going until we make the model fit with the background and the image like this. For example, if you want to change the background again and let's say that we want to change its with an external image. So to do that, we go here to properties. Click here, then we click here and we can select any image or any external image we want already have. This one did it open. And here we are. We have here an external image added to the workspace, and you can always go back to the tools and fix or just the model to fit with the background or the image. So this is how you add images or backgrounds, either from the library or from outside of the software. So that's if there's very own thanks fortune, and I'll see you in the next video. 11. Light Management: Hello, everyone. And welcome to this video. In this video, we will talk about lights into software we have here. This designed this background and this model. It's already added to the workspace and we worked with them in the former video. So now we go to the light here we have here multiple options. From here you can select the light you want. For example, we take a look at this one and as you see it's applied, give you this one as well. As you see, You can go over each and every one of them to take a good look and to decide which lights modeling ones you have here a bunch of options to truthful. And even if you added any light, you can adjust it. So, for example, we select this one here. We have it here, and we have here two properties menu and you can just it drew this menu through this settings right here. If you're the intensity, you can adjust it like this and we have a the rotation. As you see just the intensity and the rotation. From here, I would keep it a zero for the moments you have here to colorize. First you need to check this. Then you click here and area. You can select any color you want. You can select the color off the light you want, and it depends on the general color of the image. For example, of the image has yellow colors, you will choose the yellow in here and so on. You need to make sure that the lights in the model fits with the general color off the image or the background. If you sunlight, you click here. Then you get this settings right here. You get the intensity as well in here. Give. We have here the glove nous, the height. We have the rotation and you can put it whatever you want. Then you have your ground plane click on it to activate these settings as well as we did before with the sunlight. Maybe the shadow bestie. First, we need to adjust the rotation a little bit, and as you see the shadow appears you can adjust the height from here. You can adjust the rotation. As I said before, you can just the height off the shadow until you get the results you want so of course, you need to be sure that the shadow fits would the way or the direction of the lights. I need to make sure that the image order shadow in this case fits with the image. So we need to be careful when you are dealing with the shadow. And we have all these settings that you can adjust the model or the light in this case and the shadow from it. And if you want the default, you're just uncheck these settings and you will get the default off the sunlight off the lights. In this case. So that's it for this video. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you and the next one. 12. Extracting your project: Hello, everyone. And welcome to this video. In this video, I'll show you have to export your work after you are finished. I have this object or this model as an example. We already have the background added as well. And now after you finish your work or your project, you go here to render. Then you go here, your name, your projects from here, for example. I would call it Joseph, then used to let the quality from here The higher the quality, the longer it will take to exports or to render the project. So we will select high from here. And then you select the location you want to export or you want to render your project to Here it is. I would go with this folder and here you select the four months from here BSD 16 bytes or 32 bytes. I will go with 16 bytes or you can select PNG. It depends on B is these open source so that you can adjust it or edited later. So we click, render and we wait a little bit. The rendering process has begun and I would fast forward the video to save time because the process takes a lot of time. As they said before you, Selected B is the formats in case you want to edit the video order projects in this case later. But if you chose B and G, it will go as an image as a ready to go PNG image. We're almost there, Andy Weir. The project is exported or rendered, and it took about 21 minutes to complete. And this is our project, rendered as B is the so that you can edit it. If you would like to change it, spare ground or anything. As you see these are its layers. So that's it for this video. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next one. 13. Example Design 1: Hello, everyone. And welcome to this video in this video would work on another example or design using all the things that we learned during this course. So first we select a model from here, I would go with the table. It is I need to just its size like this. Then I would center it like this. Now I'm gonna add some tools or some models above the table. We will go this one to take out this. Here it is. And we should put it on the table. If I drag it like this, it won't go on top of the table. So to do that I used this sort right here. I just have you there. I drag it like this. Then I pull it up like this. And as you see, it's on top off the table. Now I need to just its size a little bit so that it fit or the table keep going like this in the area. Then I grab it and I put it like this. Now it looks on top off the table. That's better. We are. Take a good look at it. Looks completely on top off the table. now I will add another model. For example. This coffee cup and same thing would drag it beneath the table like this. Then we put it up like this and I need to just its size again. I put it up perfect. Now I just its size like this. Now it looks perfect. Here, take a look from the difference view and our design is ready. Now we will talk about colors and materials. We selected table from here And I will make the table legs like this and would like this. You can select anyone you want. You don't have to select the same things I do now. We go for clothes of table table flows and I will make it in Hollister like this. So we changed the legs of the table and the cloth. No, we talk about the dish. Here it is. We selected take out books. In this case we have here, the top lead was selected. Then we will make it in plastic anywhere. Now we go back to this leave we just its color. We go here base color and I will make it for example, like this He would select any calorie ones, Of course. Then I go to the coffee cup. I select the cup like this. Click here. Then I go to the base color and we can change it to any color we like. I will lose the same color to match them. That's better. Now I go to the lead again. I click here. Then I go. But I will make it a blessing first. That's better. No color. And as you see, this is our design. Have you a table with a take out box and a coffee cup? Now we go to images to make an image or, in this case, at background for our design. You can select anyone from image we like from the library. Or we can go with an external image. You can select any image you want. You don't have to go with same image I use. You can click here and click here to select any external image you want. Here we are. This is our image for now. Now we need to just table to fit with the background. It just it's angle like this. You need to select the whole objects like this and then you pull it like this. I just give you a little bit and you can select any of you you want. Depends. It depends on the background. Energy used. No, I just It says a little bit like this, I wrote. Is it a little bit? That's better. And I can adjust the lights as well. If I want, you can select any light you want. There's just an example of showing you how we do things in this software. I would go with this one, and I just didn't end state a little bit the rotation as well. Then I go to sunlight settings, and, as you see using that, we can adjust the shadow beneath the table. Don't make it like this so that our design looks like it's near a window. And this is how we make this kind off designs. I would adjust it like this if I won't as this is before. You can adjust the size. You can do whatever you want. You don't have to stick with what I do. I just did like this, and it looks better like this. So that's it for this video. Thanks for watching not CEO in the next video toe. Work on another example or another design 14. Example Design 2: Hello, everyone. And welcome to this video and this video. I'll show you how to make your own product using the software. So first we go to the models and we select one most like this one. For example. It's a spray bottle and then we will design the poster off the product. And we will do that using the adobe for a shop software. You have here a new page with the settings right here. You put rectangle in here No more of the stroke. Then we give it an internal color. A copy. This lay like this and I put another rectangle like this I just its size like this. Then they would like to change its color. Then reds click. We go to blending options Radiance overlay and I will make it in this car. Here is the color coat. In case you want to use the same color. Same thing here is the color code and click OK to apply the changes in here In the style, I would choose radio. Then I click OK to apply these settings now, I was left the white color to add the text, for example. It's a product. It is now it's invisible. I will adjust its size a little bit. This is just an example. Of course, you can take whatever you want or choose any colors you want. Then I would type a random text from here. Use this lips, um, that come get example text.
