About This Class

46fc323b

Welcome to Add Digital textures to your Illustration with your own brushes! In this class I´ll walk you trough my process of creating a textured background that you can use for quotes, product design or even in a stand-alone manner. I´ll show you how to make three different brushes and how to use them to create unlimited designs. So join me and let´s have fun adding textures!

Please note that you need to have a basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for this class. If this is your first time with Photoshop, you might want to watch a class on it first, like Basics of Photoshop: Fundamentals for Beginners by Meg Lewis.

awesome,simple instructions ,easy to follow
For a beginner such as I...this class was easy to understand and follow. The speaker was not fast which helps tremendously....kudos
Great class! I've always been intimidated by the idea of making my own brushes. Now, I want to watch the videos over and over until I learn it.

Sandra Bowers

Illustrator+ Surface Pattern Designer

I'm Sandra Bowers, I'm a Freelance Illustrator and Surface Pattern Designer based in BC, Canada. I'm originally from the beautiful Medellin, Colombia, where it's springtime all year round!

I have very big eyes and I love animals, specially dogs.  Most of my inspiration comes from nature and animals, so I'm lucky to live in a place where I can sit in the garden and watch many free animals come close enough to admire (coyotes, raccoons, bunnies and many many birds!).

I love mixing traditional and digital media to create detailed, stylized, playful illustrations and patterns for fabrics, stationary and home decor.
