1. Why This Course?: Welcome to this course on active campaign on the actor campaign. Quick start on Switching Guide. This course is designed to take you through all those things you need to know to get you home running with active campaign really fast, understand? The difference is if you're switching from something that mail chimp or a braver, I think I got chose you, my experience and the just to smooth that process as quickly as possible. It will take you through all the basics you need of get of managing lists and how the lists are organized. With an active campaign, it will take you through some of the powerful automation ins and give you some ideas of some great ways of delivering leave. Magnets, for example, are making use of that power that comes with that campaign, which you don't see in a Weber on male chimp. So do you take a look at this course? I look forward to seeing it on the inside 2. ActiveCampaign Overview: Welcome to the active campaign dashboard. This is what you'll see when you first look in. This is a demo account that's a pro account rather than the basic accounts that has pipelines. In this short course, I'm not going to look at pipelines and deals that's in a more advanced course. Welcome, Teoh Active Campaign and the Dashboard. This is where you start when you first look in, and this is based on a demo account, which is a pro level accounts that has pipelines and deals. So but just ignore those. We're not gonna cover this in this course anyway. On in the Main. A lot of people work based on the basic level, which doesn't have those they want to do is cover some of the basic terminology, giving a bit of a grounding in an overview of where things are where things appear. So just looking at dashboard, you can see your contacts. You can see how it grows in See the news from active campaign always worth having a full nose inside there. See what they've updated or added. You can see the state of status of different things, including interactions by didn't people your email templates and you can see, like a little running history of what's been going on in terms of people clicking on subscribing, subscribing and so just a bit of a review stocks at the beginning with some simple things. Active campaign is built around a list or Siris of lists. It has a novel trick, which will talk about in another video, which is an overarching master list, and we'll talk about organizing lists later. But list basically the list of names you have had that in any other email marketing system that you might have used before. So to get a new one, you just go through avenue list on set those up. But you condone using the menus here. Once you said a list up, you can add new contacts. And if you've got a list you want to import, um, you can play around with them not going to do too much with this here. That's it's a fairly simple system for setting up a lists. So the list itself once you got a list you can then a broadcast to those people, and that's called campaign Inactive campaign. You may be his words. Campaign to mean something different. If you were using infusion soft, Forget about that campaign is a broadcast email. So to do that we go through, took on new campaign. You pick the type that you want to use most of time, you'll probably standard give it a name. I've got no imagination, so we'll call it test Going to next died, which lists you want to send it to. So just use the master list. You can also pick and segment out so you can select different parts of that list if you want to. So then because I pick it, pick a template. So let's just pick a simple one here, give a subject title. Is it coming from and to this will load up the editor that is the editor. You can then drag and drop different components. So you went with my little text block or you've got images. Each of the these has little but moral beacon. Then picture do different things like amend it. Let's just get rid of him tidy at that. It has a content library so you can save if you wanted to like a particular block. So you've got a footer that you like to put in or something else, you can save that away. So what worth exploring and having a little look at what you can actually do with that? What, you got your email set up? You can also doable now, but you can. I think you might want to do with dear name and someone you can then decide on a writer. Didn't think so. You can schedule things. You can set a test yourself. It will do a basic spam spam test for you. You can then do some clever little things little like you decide to track on. Correct Automation is based on people reading or opening or clicking on different links so you can do some quite clever things you can track. If people rip reply to you comes up there. You can also put some Google analytic information in as well so that it helps you work out what's actually happening with that. That email, how effective it is so fairly simple. Then go off and send. Now I see, in my case, I'm not gonna do that, so that's a campaign very quickly. That's a look at the powerhouse behind all this, which is Alternations. Alterations are what you probably in another system may have called on auto responder. But this takes it to a whole new level, which is really where the power of active campaign allies to switch to another page I'm gonna show you are a simple, correct, very simple water. Respond with something you might have you had if you were using in a Weber. So just a bit of an idea before we look at this in more detail later, you see here there's a trigger that decides how things start. You can send out an email you can wait for a particular time, sent out another email, etcetera. On This is a system that allows you to do be quite clever so you can put in things all kinds of things can happen, even had the conditions we could site if a particular condition happened. So in our case, it might be say they are. The country is whatever the eyes and you'll see, it creates subtle little flow chart. So this case, I don't want this something's gonna get rid of it so I don't get confused. Do the right thing. Otherwise it wouldn't make a mess of it. Okay, so you can see you can drag and drop where you can just add an insert Mitzel drag and drop a bully who move things around. Andi change the order. And so that's the power of automation. As you can see that this that's quite a lot you can do with this, and we'll develop this in the next few lessons. So they had last. Remaining parts of any great interest, probably is the reports. So here's a reports of what's been going on to see how the Opens. And if you have proper people, you would pick up their pictures, possibly from social media. You can still see the same thing for automation is you can see what's been going on with any particular email, and you click into these and get more details. So whatever you add anyone to any of the other lists, it puts them into a big master list, which doesnt shopping list. It's just there is a big master list of all the people, so you can see here we have a massive nine people in our database. The best thing about this is you can then go off on look at an individual, so click on that and we get all the details of what's been going on with that particular person, so it will load up the activities here. You could put notes attached to them, so on you can see which alterations there currently running. You can manually add people to alterations, and you can see all the activity that's been going on since loaded up. So it's basically sending out its sent out different campaigns differently. Email messages. Um, it's done different situations. So this is a test to cancer. Has lots of things going on? Get some personal information about them, and the other thing that's important to know that we'll be using all way through automation is tagging. Tagging is away, adding little descriptions to people so that you can tell their interests all that you can tell they're gone through a particular part of your automation. Your process. You could use it to pause and automation as a whole range of different ways. That you might use tax and taking is very important. The taking may well come in from a signing out from in front lead magnets sort of freebies so you can take people's interests or it might be there. Click on links. Other things you can see as you can see whether there's any history off visiting particular pages or other things going on here. I got this set up with my membership site to lock people who have locked in so I could do some clever tricks with their sending reminders. If people don't know again after so many days, we can also track how many people's visits to particular pages, and you can use that information to trigger automation as well. It's just generally being under nose around in terms of what they've actually done. So hopefully it's given a bit of an overview of active campaign. Some of the main keywords that you need to understand so campaigns, lists, forms AutoNation's tags on the master list so you can then progress on and go into more detail on get you firing up on I to complain 3. People Not List Centred Marketing: one of the big differences between active campaign and say you ever mail chimp or constant contact is that it's a more people centric and customer centric than being list centric with something like a whoever You put somebody onto a list, you want somebody off a different list. You pay for two because that cancers two entries on there's no real way of linking those two things together and working out that they're on both lists. What's up with that campaign? Effectively, it runs a master list of contacts. So if every person, if we get into their records, we can see exactly which lists or you know they're in. Rituals have been also described from with any bounces, etcetera. So it starts off. From that point of view off, let's manage the person rather than manage a series of emails on a series of lists. So when you have to keep in mind this when you're looking at how active campaign works, that it doesn't work in quite the same way. Great news, though, is that you only pay you for the person being on that master list. You don't pay for them twice, Nus. They're in there with multiple emails, says press on 4. Switching From Mailchimp: Why switch to active campaign the two main reasons. You may well want tohave, really powerful features that are not available to you from the lower price products, or you may well be using an expensive product, which has these features. I want to save some money. For me, it was very much a case off. I had some particular needs and requirements that I wanted to do some sales automation, and those were going to be horrendously expensive with other products. Or technically, they were fudges. And you really kind of work rounds to use with other systems, like a waiver on male chimp. No, but it's not possible to do some of things that you can do with an active campaign. It's just very much easier. And while I can program on much rather use Dragon dropped features than open the code editor, so the main features that I particularly wanted were some marketing automation. As you see on the Ifill demonstration here, you can see the automation builder. It's very much a dragon drop arrangement where you can do all kinds of really clever things . So you can, for example, crater a welcome sequence that ghost anyone who joins any of your lists or you create an unsubscribe sequence which trust to win them back onside. But something that's quite different to do with other systems. Well, you could create a V I. P campaign that works out that somebody has visited your science lots opened your emails, clicked on your links and creates a specialist for V I. P s and miles them or to actually in tells them about it. Well, you might want to interact with other members of staff. Andi, pause on alteration. Well, somebody does something manually, such as giving them a phone call or putting something in the post and then restart the automation. Um, what is that stuff? There are lots of things within particular. Within the automation is which is the reason that I wanted to use it. The list themselves are held within one master list, so one master contact list that gray box so that when you had somebody to list, it effectively goes into that master list and you can find a person. You find out which lists there on. You can also find a lot more detail about their activity. That's all collapsed in tow one into one contract record, although you can organize it by individualists. The alterations, on the other hand, that the auto responder type functionality is very different isn't tied to a list, so you can have different things happen at different times so you can actually have somebody signing up to a list from one form and have a different automation happened then, if they signed up through a different form, uniquely well, have a second list that uses the same automation so the alterations really stand on their own. But it triggered by something that they are sequence of events, and the situations have as it shone there. That diamond you have some decision making facilities in there, you can do lots of different things. Also, different steps at different times delay things. You can even interact with yourself so you can send yourself a message. If somebody reaches a particular point in the automation that you're creating, and so there's a lot more flexibility in terms of what they're able to do, so hopefully that gives you a bit of a flavor of the. The key difference on the potential power of the automation is that you're about to see as well as a clue as to the organization behind active campaign Before you switch over, there are a couple things you need to check. Basically, you need to go through all of the places where you have software that integrates with your existing email system and make sure they support active campaign. It's certainly with double checking to make sure that any of the squeeze page or landing page software that you work with or pop up box software that it actually works with. Active campaign. So a couple of different ways that you can do that. If you're using at something optimized press, you'll find there's a category there which asks you for the A P I details. You may well find us that you may well have a system that works with something like sappier , which is 1/3 party but of software, not my preferred way of doing it. Although you do get some free Zepeda zaps which will look at in a another video of the lesson, Um, happy is a way of integrating between different, different packages. Pick manage subscribers and go to view all subscribers this point, you may want to pick a segment or create a segment if you want a certain group of people only. Otherwise, you go over to export export to see SV and that will golf on create an export file. But it's done. You'll see it like it is below, and you can then click on that. Export has CSP, and it'll be areas it filed that you can then unzip to give you the file that you need. Depending on which route you've taken, you'll have one of two files. Your other half a zip file from Male Chimp, which you need toe unzip to give you a CS file. Well, you'll have just to see us feast file straight from Hey Webber to import both of those so you can see the differences in terms of the map ings. Let's let's go through it. So before you start, I recommend that you scurry into the AutoNation's on that you turn off any that it would be triggered by adding people to a list or adding particular tax. You can put somebody in the list from one form and do something different. Then if you put them in the list from a different form, for example, well, you could have two lists that effectively called off the same automation, which is what? That double arrow going out to the automation on the left, the automation. Instead of being serious sequential messages, you have much more a programming language that even G O and you could do decisions. You can do all kinds of things really limited to your own imagination, including interacting with yourself is what was interacting with the individual. Andrea, what plan you're on. Your Lists: There are two different ways that you can set up your active campaign on. You may use, um, merge version off these two. Um, firstly, you might well have just one master list. One main list you keep for each market area that you're in, and they use the tanks. Teoh annotate your list. Teoh give people tomorrow from their interests and to mark whether they've downloaded a particular freebie or made a particular purchase. That's one way of doing it in the way of doing it is to have a main lis that used for broadcasting from were general messages. And then, if you have a lead magnet of some freebie that you download or product you may want, have a separate league may magnet list richly bag with a separate list for each products that you have at the same time is them subscribing from for the particular lead magnet? What I would also then do you see whether they Vyron automation? I would see whether they're on the main list already and at them into the main list. So that's the two different set ups that's have a look at the different outcomes from doing that, and what the implications are. So if you start off with one list, it's certainly simpler you used tanks in order to do it. Now their issues are already that No, All of the A p I connections all the programming connections between third party systems like weapon our systems or page builder systems like optimize, press or thrive leads on. But all of them, those once happened, Teoh supported in all of them support the A P I. You may have to use the four methods. So some of the systems I won't work with this very well. So you have to use the four method where you putting custom? HTML Quite a lot of the page builders systems will have this as an option where you cut and paste the extra all code that comes from the former manager. The big disadvantage is that if you somebody on subscribes, then because you go unless the unsubscribe from all of your messages eso if there a customer of yours and they've got no way of being out to separate those two things out on and you're only so I unsubscribed from the your main broadcast and still get all your customer messages, so it's a choice you have. The other one is The thing is that you need TOC segment using the tags you'll need to segment every time you want to broadcast. If you just want to send out to your customer list, you gotta pick on the customer. This tag, for example, having many less super tasty involves you having a master list, and several other sub blisters were just just seen. So the UN subscribes in this case, or not more targeted AP, I becomes a bit easier because a lot of the FBI's just support putting you onto one list Onda Locksley work and then that simples that you have. You can then add people onto the Marsa list as well. So you got that broadcast list appearing on your master list. Downsides are it needs to be organized on you need todo use, decent naming and distant folders, and you need to keep it as simple as you possibly can, thus becomes overwhelming, so that allows you to do to have a broadcast list on your main list. I have separate product lists on that people could opt in or opt out of any combination of those itself the unsubscribe from an email that's about product updates, and they probably don't want to hear from you about product updates. However, it doesn't remove them from your general broadcast list. That might be a preferred way that you want today, however, some people will find that annoying because it means they thought they don't subscribed on dure, still sending them stuff. So you really need to get clear on your messages. Why you're sending from that particular list? The things you may want to do is to use either freebie, lead, magnet type lists or temporary lists on sometimes that that's necessary in order to get the information correctly into your system. If you're the party system. Using to integrate with, for example, isn't very good than you'll need to set up a slightly different system to recap their different ways. People getting onto your list any list. In this case, we're looking at the main list, but it could be any of the lists you can generate a form within active campaign on that can send things straight into a list that can then itself be the trigger for people air for automation. You can use the A P I in things like Thrive leads on that will again, something's directly into a list. Or, if you got more sophisticated set up, then you can use on a P I with the form or with tags again to do more interesting things and get people onto lists. Single Or Double Optin: one of things you have to side on is whether you're going to do a single or double opt in on any of your lists. The principle behind Double Up 10 for example, is that when you sign up for a list, you'll then receive an email saying, Do you really want to be on this list and you have to click on it to actually get to be subscribed? So it's just the principle that you that you can't just be sent anything, you have to have agreed to receive it. On the other hand, if you do single Upton, it basically means that you put your name in tow a knocked inbox, and you're on the list for a long time. Double opt in was kind of seen as the way to reduce spam on, and in some cases you actually penalized by your email provider. If you haven't double opted in people, that's really no longer the case. A lot of what's going on now is the quality of your list is measured by the amount of bounces opens on bond really generally how clean your list is, much more than whether somebody is double opted in because I'm sure you probably double opt in for things several years ago that now no longer relevant to you, which you don't open and you consider to be. You may even consider it to be spam, but you did actually double opt into it. So it isn't a foolproof way if a man measuring with somebody's spamming or not so single Upton, when you just single up 10 you will have a greater amount off. Opt in, so your percentage of options will be a lot higher. You will get more people on your list. It's a much simpler experience and that you details in you click on something and something else happens. You haven't got a will go to your email on something else. And so it which means in turn, your as a marketer, you're able to get your sales message in front of them that much quicker. On the downside, you will probably have a lower quality list. To begin with, you'll have less accurate lists. You'll get more bounces, and you need to do a bit more clearing up and cleaning up of your list over time. But as I said, given that the quality a list is now measured by its ongoing performance and not your initial performance. You should be cleaning up anyway, double opt in. Or is he going to get a lower percentage of people opting in because they've got to do those extra steps and the court E will probably be a bit higher. You'll get a lower need to clean up, certainly initially, but then that still carries on. In the future. You're the use is gonna go three more steps, so it takes longer to get to sales message and ultimately you doing it with fewer people. So which do you do? You pick what in the day? It's all about whether you actually make any return on any of your marketing you're doing. So you need to test appear simply as tryout and see which way works best for you personally . Getting People On Your List: Let's look at how we can get people onto your list. There's several different ways we can use forms, and you can generate those who within active campaign. You can then put those onto your site. If you have an HTML site or any programming system that allows you to HTML forms in, then you can use those you can also use. If you're on WordPress, you could use There's a plug in, which will take the details from the form on display on the page. You also want to integrate with other other tools. So there's an A P. I. A programming interface that allows different systems to integrate. It may well fire those leads straight into your list. So the party tools like Thrive leads would give you nice pop ups through the A. P I or Vira. For method that looked pretty, pretty good, prettier than on more useful than the ones that variety through active campaign. That's the route I choose to take. Other things that may will integrate. Andi is the A P. I was like shopping carts which they were firing, maybe some members into a membership site and in turn, fire those off into active campaign. Your membership site itself may well, a link with Active Campaign says Not so times where things want to link Onda. Put new leads in new contacts into your list on that we don't normally through the A P I. Nothing you can do is using the active campaign had set up. You can embed your form onto your Facebook page, so let's have a quick look at forms and then have a good look at third parties to do you a bit of flavor and overview of what you can achieve. You can add them off to your particular page on little Again. It will show the design you've created within the form designer. That's one way of doing it. Their two main methods that you'll want to use to capture leads and put them into your list . One is to use a pop up box is sidebar. Widgets on other come things on your main website. The other thing you might want to use is, say, a page builder. The elastic eight dedicated pages to capture leads where you have one focus, which is to get somebody on your list by giving them example, league magnet or create cells pages for that matter. So that's a look at those two alternates. I'm going to use one family of products from a company called Thrive Leads. We're gonna look first at the Thrive leads system for pop ups. Interesting to show you some of the examples that they get from that to skip over that and what's really clever things that could do. These could be linked in by a couple of a couple clicks. You can link those up so it knows all about your active campaign system so you can create pop right boxes, things that appear at the top here in my inform, say, in content form so that you can have a course Gotta content, upgrade where you talk about a particular topic and then offer follow up as a lead magnet, you can do to step kind of things. You're excited. I have widgets on side. There's a whole host of things that you can do and they're nicely there nicely designed. So you can more or less use a busy week kind of click and taken change editor. So well, with having a good look at that, we often find the air thrive landing pages package. And then I'll show you what that does. This is slightly different. They are the sales. Pedro. Thrive Landing pages, which is gonna build him to the right content builder, are built into the themes. If you use one of their themes nothing I like about thing I like about these serious of products is they almost great? Really Well, on and use kind, effective use one. I deter to do the same. So it's basically done through a dragon drop interface. You have your landing page on this side so you can pick from themes in the drag across the different components that you want to put on well worth having a good look at that. So the two things together that interact really well well with having a look at it, because the built in form generator is great, if that's all you want to do, just that one form. I think they're fairly dull, but you need to look at other products, really, To get things in there in a much more smooth and sophisticated way. I have to ask you an example of one of the products that will do that, but there are others available. 10. Creating a Simple Autoresponder: Let's take a look at how you create a simple auto responder type automation, that sort of thing you would have had. If you've used a Weber or mail chimp before, you probably have something set up where you send out an email. Then a day later, you sent out another email than two days. 80. Maybe sent another email, etcetera. That's a look at how you create one of those. First, we have to automation going to new AutoNation's just a simple responder. The test We are festival when you're gonna choose how that alter it responded how that automation is started that maybe that you've done it. You do it based on somebody subscribes to a form Well, they submitted for or the tag is added. That's that come most common ways air starting a simple or to respond. That's just a scene that when somebody subscribes to a list eso when they subscribed to Master list that you want them to get this sequence. The difference here between from wants and run multiple times is that for each of the entry quiet criteria, if you say run wants, it will only work once for that person eso Let's just say leave. That was once. So if you have multiple times, then somebody came down late. Leave magnet, say multiple times that she may want them threat to date. So that's the start. Investing has. You can have multiple starts, but this is the first start we're gonna have. They subscribe to the master list. We want to send them an email. So we would go off when we're Creighton email. That's not gonna go from to show us the email editor. So you could go into here on pick a design, Andi, carry on. I'm just gonna quickly avoid that by clicking on the automation name at the top so I can come back into here and you see, this is currently a draft, so we would have to come back and set up. The next thing I want to do is and a delay. Then you can find that under these conditions and say, Wait for a particular time so that one day we want to send out another email. That's the sending options so we can continue email, maybe test two do the same thing again. It's going off NASCAR's to pick the template that was gonna click on the automation they had come back in again. And then how will we get it to wait another period and carry on? I think it's worth bearing in mind at this point is that if you run through the automation on, do they get to the end point here? It's effectively the same as having. And this automation there's a kind of one of these there with the you know what you put it there or not s o. What that does is it means that people then drop off the sequence. So unlike something like a Weber, where you might just be able to add in another message here that drops off the end. So the way you cope with that is to put in a weight, we say wait lots of days. So they will then be held at that point in that had a message in here. You can then change this message to wait for five minutes and then eventually dropped through into the next message when you do out another message on the end also had another wait for 99 days, and then when they have all moved over you think like to delete that on your good to go. So that's how you kind of manage on a simple auto responder. There's not more to it. And as we go into automation is in more detail. You'll see how they even build up something even more powerful. 11. Example Automations: following lessons nearly of some example informations on how to put all these organization and all the other techniques that you've learned over the course together in something that's really useful and really powerful. So you get an idea of what you can achieve by creating your own automation ins. Let's get started. 12. Automation Lead Magnet Delivery: I want to take you through the process of what happens when somebody signs up for a lead magnet or a freebie. I'm gonna call them Elite Magnet. I see the precursor to this automation is what happens before is that they have signed up to a form, maybe an instability form or optimize press former elite pages form and that have been put onto the league magnet list. So that point I had some tax. So I'm adding attack to say that they've downloaded this leave magnet, so that will be on their record forever. I'm probably gonna record a topic against them. So if this Lee backing magnet is about a particular topic, I've got to record that so we can then do some more segmentation or emailing to them later . I'm going to attack them to say that this is a temporary tag that says that they're in engagement sequence of warming them up to trying him to buy a product for this particularly magnet. And then I'm going to sign them up for the master. This This is my broadcast list on this you saw in the Nice to meet you automation. A video, the lecture you're seeing how that then triggers an induction indoctrination. Come. Nice to meet you. Sequence of warming somebody up to you and your brand. Then I'm going to fulfill my part, the promise, and deliver that lead magnet. And that's all happened in one Go then I'm gonna wait for a day. Next thing when it is, then just check to see if they've actually bought the product. I'm assuming that when they buy the product that by some mechanism, you're giving them into that product list. So a lot membership systems, if you're using a membership system, will be enabled Labour you to add them to a product list. So if they have bought there in that list, So I'm lingers, going to take away the temporary tag so that I know that they're no longer actively being promoted to on this sequence. And as I use these as transitory temporary lists, I unsubscribed them from the league backlit list and then end the automation. I do this so that I don't want to have loads of lists full of people because I don't never really broadcast to this list. It does have a right nice little them overview of how many people you've actively got engaged. And that's also where your promotional work. If you're using advertising, for example, you could see the number of people in that part at stage of your funnel, which is a good indicator of how your business is working. So going back to here, we've delivered our email. Did we probably waited today. They're not bought the product. I would dance in the matter and email educating about the benefits of the product. This is also Seymour of a sales he kind of message. There's lots of advice on different types of Fulop messages that you can deliver. I would then wait a day after that again check to see if they're in the listing about the product aan den. If they are on the list of bought the product, I'm goingto vendors follow Jim back, appear through the tag, unsubscribed them an end, and then if they haven't brought the product, I'm gonna send them out. Another one, maybe a a an email about and you bonus that advantage. So again, if you could carry on and you can add more sequences so you could have more delays, checks for their in the list, sent another email and so on and jump back to that same point. I'm using the go to another action because it also means this is the close up of what I'm actually doing. When I finish, it means it's all in one place. If I decide I need to do another step in here, that maybe I want to put a note on their file or call somebody in my office to bring them, I could have it in there and know that it always every place they're gonna get the same response rather than being copying the same coat of coding dragon drop stuff over and over and over again. So if that's given you better, an idea of how that how that works and how that integrates with the master list. My main reason for using a master list and separatists for this is to do with one subscribes. Um, I particularly hate it when you have a product list onder a broadcast list on their the same on. People send out to me like the stuff I don't wanna have, but I do want have the product updates. Got no way as a user and love systems of saying, I don't want a promotional stuff. What do you want? Your product updates? So this kind of answers that that kind of point. 13. One List or Many?: one of the questions that comes up a lot is where the issued use one list or many well, one list certainly would be simpler. You know you don't want this to organize. You did that using the tax feature, and you take people who bought product or you signed up for lead magnets, and you can use those to trigger automation. So it's all doable. On the downside, though, the A P I links think linking in actually, Gable subscribed by the A P I, which products like optimize press to do doesn't really support tagging. So it really puts a dampener on that You can't really do it. You could use the former method, the HTML for method, that it's not as robust day. A method of actually won't be able to sign up, so it's still kind of possible, but not as good as it as it could have been. The other she have is that when somebody on subscribes to unsubscribe from everything, they're completely gone. So if they're in the you're broadcasting them something and they decide to unsubscribe, then they will no longer receive any product updates. Also, when you're broadcasting, you need to use the segmenting. Honestly, if you broadcast everybody better, be sure that you really wanted to go to everybody. I thought about many lists well, effectively. You have one big master list anyway, so you can see everybody in one list. If that's what you want to do. In terms of un subscribing, you then have much more targeted approach to it that in the if you mail out product updates to people who are product owners and then subscribe, they know their un subscribing from the product list. If you broadcast on your broadcast list on your main list on, then subscribed, they'll still be on your product list. The A P I. Then stop comes an option because you put people into lists and not into on. That's how that's how the FBI works the guests. You don't need to have a little bit more organizing on the downside, so you'll need to organize things by giving having good naming and putting things into folders and need to make an effort to make it simple. So both those methods have a chance to be complete complicated by in the case of one list, you'll and that would lost tax and the other you couldn't with lots of lists. If you're not careful, I run things with three different types of list. I have one broadcast list that everyone gets put onto, um, for anywhere where it's a similar kind of marketplace. So if I was had two different, very different marketplaces and different types of people, I would have to broadcast lists and then build up lists of people who bought particular products so he's product would be a separate list. So I can then do broadcasts about the product on product updates. And then I have freebie come leave magnet lists that appear the temporary So people will be on that list for the pit for the period of time when they're receiving AutoNation's about that. Until committed emails about that particular lead back net wants that done and then moved, Um, remove of that list underst leave them on the broadcast list. Hopefully, they bought products. They buy a product. I'll take them off the relevant lead magnets. So that's how I organized things.
