Hi! my name is Cova Sandes and I’m an illustrator and artist based in Spain.

In this class we will practice brush control, flat colors, volume and background gradients. We will also create 2 botanical illustrations.

I will share with you my process, tricks, and give you some tips along the way.

1. INTRODUCTION: Are you an illustrator or someone who loves the drugs? Have you been thinking about using acrylics but really don't know where to start? Then this is the perfect class for you. Hi, my name is cover some rest name on artist. An illustrator based in ST I used to paint with acrylics back in high school where I love to paint still left on campus today I use acrylics for my illustrations. In this class, we will talk about acrylics, brushes. We will practice breast control. And finally we will create two botanical illustrations where we will apply all of these techniques. So are you ready to create some beautiful village illustrations just during the class on Let's get started. 2. SUPPLIES: to start with. This ones are good. I like them to use them for sketching or trying out some new paintings. This is the Fabbiano mixed media paper, and this is the Council on watercolor paper. They work just fine. Like a critics, if you want something more professional, I also love this artist Baker, and this one is my favorite, the Hannibal the Harmony paper, which can be used for many different media. And it's really smart for this cause. I will be used for the student. Great pains. You will be OK with a wire black jello blue indirect we call it discovers you can mix every cover. It's a really good exercise, and I will love to see your progress in the gallery. 5. GRADIENT: VOLUME: Now that you have practiced your flat shapes, let's see how we can give them some volume. So let's try and turn the circle into a sphere. How are we going to do this by using some Grady int? So we will made a collar in my case. Magenta and 1/2 years, some white and also some black to darken up the color. You can draw the circle with a pencil before had if you 12 or even with a compass, or you can trace it from the print out my light source right away. I'm thinking it comes from here. Now go give it a try and show me your progress in the gallery. 7. TIPS AND TRICKS: way. Start creating our illustration. I wanted to share with you some some of my tricks and give you some tips. So it is really hard to sometimes create some details with a brush, even though you can use a really, really small brush. So sometimes I used some markers. They're acrylic, too, and they come out really handy for creating some details. I have some Posca colors. They're very useful. When you need to create some straight lines or some patterns, you can see that it's really quick, too, and you can find some really nice colors. I used them when I have to create this type of details. He's a really good I also. But this set on Amazon. They're also acrylic, and they were like a good price. Let's get one up. But I have to say that they are not so paid. And as you can see, sometimes they're a little bit rough. You can trade some very white lines.
