ReactJS is an open source front-end framework created by Facebook. In this class, we will cover the following:

  • What React is (and isn’t)
  • React components
  • JSX
  • State
  • Props
  • Component methods

You will be creating your very own clicker game. Click the kitten (or puppy), earn mews (or woofs), and watch him/her grow into an adult cat (or dog)!

Assumed knowledge:

  • Basic familiarity with JavaScript (ES6 preferred)
  • Basic familiarity with NodeJS and NPM (highly recommended)
  • Basic familiarity with Git/Github (highly recommended)
