Project Description

To practise your new Spanish vocabulary, what I've done is included some translations in the lesson videos. Additionally, you can start to think of your own sentences in Spanish. The more sentences you think of, the easier it will be when you go to a Spanish speaking country; you'll have already prepared things say.

I've also included two vocabulary expansion sections that you can use to build your vocabulary in food and numbers.

Spanish Class Project

As I said, it's a good idea to start building your own "repertoire" of things to say whilst you're in Spain (or any other Spanish-speaking country). If you build this up before you go, you will be more confident in speaking when you're abroad.

I'd love to see you write ten things you're going to say next time you travel to a Spanish-speaking country. Use what you've learnt in this course and post your sentences in the Class Project section. If you want, you can just type them, but even better would be to write them on a cue card and take a picture to upload to show me and other learners.

If you write your sentences in Spanish on one side of the cue card and then in English on the other side, you can take this with you to Spain and have it in your back pocket for easy reference.

Here are three simple sentences to get you going:

Hola, quiero una mesa para tres personas, por favor

Es absolutamente delicioso pero no es muy bueno para mí

Para mí, es precioso aquí

Keep your sentences short and concise, so that you will remember them easily.

Happy learning :-)
