Hello and welcome to “3 Minute Italian” The aim of this course is to make Italian accessible to anybody regardless of age, educational background or "aptitude" for learning.

My method for teaching Italian is simple but effective. It works for anybody, no matter what your requirements. I have been teaching foreign languages for over ten years and I’ve taught a wide range of students of all ages and backgrounds, including students with learning difficulties, so I know my method is accessible to absolutely anyone, with no exception.

With this course, it’s almost as if you have your very own language tutor at your beck and call. Take it with you wherever you are and have a quick listen to one of the lessons whenever you find yourself with three minutes to spare. You will be amazed at how much your language skills will develop after just a few minutes a day of study. You will start to learn the Italian language in a simple, logical and fun way.

You will learn a variety of words that you will learn to put together to form sentences that will be useful in any visit to Italy, and you'll learn how to put the words together to form sentences, saying exactly what you want.

There is ample opportunity throughout the course to practise what you've learnt, and structured repetition ensures you'll never forget what you've learnt.

So you don't have to say you can just say that ceva or valet means are you going? So I want to say in Italian. Where you going, Dove? Eva, don't be a Are you going to room that aroma? Who? Valet aroma. How would you say, What time are you going to Rome Act Aorta, vat, aroma, Akira, Valet aroma. There is one difference between the phrase. Are you going on the Italian phrase Batley? You can't use valet with a very money. And in English, you comport any verb on the end off. Are you going to talk about we're going to do in the future? For example, are you going to make a reservation or are you going to have dinner? You can't do this in Italian. Well, at least not with the phrase that Lee. There is another phrase You can use an Italian to talk about the future. Stop pair or start lay bare. And that means are you going to this phrase? Can only be used to talk about what you're going to be doing in the future so you can put verbs on the end of this phrase. It might take a while to get used to the different phrases, but just member that if you're actually going somewhere, you use that lay. However, if you're going to do something, you use stuff. Lay pair instead with a variable in the end. So just to reiterate, start lay bare means are you going to? And the lay is optional. So again you don't have to say it. So stop bear or style a pair. How would you say in Italian? Where are you going to have dinner? Doorway Stahl. A perp rendering Latina would only stop pair printed a Latina. Are you going to make a reservation? Stop their fairy. When I print a Cioni, we'll stand a carefully. When I planned that, See, only how would you say, Are you going to hire a car? Stop their knowledge, Arianna Makina or style? A fair knowledge. Ari. When a maquina, your next word is a question where in Italian? Call me, Call me. It means how call me. So how would you say Italian? How are you going to room. Call me that aroma. Well, call me valet aroma. How are you going to pay? Call me. Stop Baghdadi. Who promised a labour piggery. How are you going to pay the bill? Call me stuff there. Bugatti. Incanto who promised a lei per piggery. 7. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 27b: So how would you say in Italian? How are you going, Camila Okami Valet. You'll hear Comey violently quite a lot in Italian speaking countries. That's because it's the way they ask, How are you? So whenever you meet someone, you can say to them one. Giordano, calm Eva. One. Giordano Comey Ballet. You'll also hear a second question using the phrase Stop Bear or Stahl a pair. This second phrase is used interchangeably with Camila. Comb it, Stan. Call Mr Nokomis. DeLay means How are you? So you could say commit star Okami, Va. Comey Valet So calmest Alei and Comey Valet Both mean How are you in Italian? Here's your next word in Italian, Ben. Me, Ben. They it means fine or well, Ben, the word Benny is what you can use to enter the questions kami, va or commit star. You can imagine a minute conversation that you could use whenever you meet someone. Bon giorno. Calm Eva wound Orinoco Mista means how I would have Are you many grassy multi Manny away means well, thanks very well. And you see, I'm came on Tobyhanna Gratz See? Means yes also Very well. Thank you. This is a nice little phrase that is related to VAT Lee Vandal vandal. It means I'm going. Vatel. So how would you say in Italian? I'm going to Rome tomorrow. Battle aroma, Damani Vado Aroma, Domani. You can't use Vatel, however, to say what you're going to be doing. It's only used to say where you're going, this nexus of rage you can use to say what you're going to do. It's related to stop, pair or style a pair on its stop there. Stop There means I'm going to stop Bear. So how would you say I'm going to make a reservation stopper? Fatty When a parent, that's the only stop there. Farley. When a plane out at sea, only the phrase stop. There is a good way of talking about the future in Italian. What you can do is take stop air. Andi, put any verb on the end of it to say what you're going to do, just like the phrase stop there So you can say Stop by God, Me, I'm going to pay stop their fiery Latina. I'm going to make the dinner stop there and aerial espionage. I'm going to go to the beach. The phrase volatile is reserved for saying where you're going rather than what you're going to be doing. You can't put a verb in the end off battle so you can say things like volatile aroma. I'm going to Rome bravado in Italia, meaning I'm going to Italy. You'll notice as well that I've used a in front of aroma and in in front off Italia. Well, you use are too mean to in front of towns and cities, and you use in too mean to in front of countries because that's what we have. Vatel, Roma and Valerie Natalia. 8. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 27c: How would you say in Italian? I'm going to hire a car Stop at a knowledge I ran back. You know stupid. I know, Johnny. When a maquina I'm going to pay for the wine. Stop pagar Vino stopper. Pagar el vino. I'm going to have a tea stopper. Brenda Rae! Dante, stop there! Prenda rate Mente. If we made the phrases volatile or stop air negative, we get non vile and non stop there. Which means I'm not going. I'm not going to nonviolent and non stop there. So now, in this lesson, we've had so far that lay. Which means are you going Stahl A pair? Meaning are you going to call me? Which means how? Com. Eva Comey. Valet meaning. How are you? Call Mr or Calmest Away also means How are you? Bene bene means fine, Vatel. Battle means I'm going. Stop. Bear means I'm going to. Non viable means I'm not going. And nonstop air means I'm not going to. So how would you say in Italian? I'm not going to room non volatile aroma, Non valuable room. So remember when you're saying where you're going, you'll use viable or non volatile. When you're saying what you're going to be doing when you say stop, bear or non stop there. So how would you say in Italian? I'm not going to make a reservation Known. Stopped firing when a parent at Cioni non stop there, Farley. When a plant that Cioni Well, how would you say I'm not going to hire a car? Non Stop their knowledge. Are you? Come back? You know non stop their knowledge r e una maquina. 9. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 27d: How would you say I'm not going to pay for the wine nonstop? Pagar il vino Non stop there. Pagar even know I'm not going to have a tea. I'm going to have a coffee. Nonstop airplane, Diamante stopper friend Ray in cafe nonstop airplane Diamante stopper Brenda Rae on coffee . When you get asked the question calm. Eva who come esta which both mean How are you? As I've said, you can just answer with Benny, which means fine. However, if you want to add a little presents to your language, you can never say one off these phrases Vado, Vani or stop any They literally mean I'm going fine, which we don't say in English. But in Italian, you say all the time. So battle mainly means I'm going fine. I'm going well, whereas stop been, it could mean I'm fine. I'm will. It's very similar to the English phrase I'm doing well. So if someone says Comey va co mista welcome evil a calmest away then you can answer Just bend me, which means fine. But you can also now answer Vavoom in *** Nazi Valmont Obey any l a. Which means I'm doing well. Thanks. I'm doing very well. And you? Many of the person could say, See Baltimore domain me. Which means, yes, I'm doing very well. When somebody asks you a question like How are you in English? How do you answer? Generally, people have a response that comes out automatically. Whenever they're asked questions, they get asked a lot. I know if I get asked, How am I? Usually just say Yes, I'm good, Thanks. How are you? I don't think about it just comes out. This is because my response to this question has become a reflex. Similarly, if somebody asked me in Italian Economista com Eva, without thinking, I automatic to say motive in a grassy away. The words just come out of my mouth. This is because I've said them so often that they've become a reflex. A reflex is something that happens quickly and automatically. They happen all over the body. For example, if you put your hands something really hot, you don't leave it there and go hours that really burns and slowly take your hand off. No, what happens is you don't even think about what you do. Your body just pulls your hand away from the hot being automatically in languages. I call these reflexes motors. That's because they have you to speed along with your language learning on and the more motors you install in your brain, the more quickly you will be communicating easily. In Italian, installing a murder is easy. The hardest part is just deciding what your motor is going to look like in the next lesson we're going to make to small motors that you can use every day in Italian. 10. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 27e: the first motor we're going to look at is the Hello. How are you, motor? There are several ways that you can now ask this in Italian. So you could say town calm, Eva, which means literally. Hello. How are you going? Or town? I'm in they which literally means hello. Are you going well? You can also say tower, call me start, which literally means Hello. How are you or Tallis? Time in me. Which means, How are you? Well, just pick the one that you prefer and then to install the motor. What you have to do is repeat it to yourself again and again and again and again. Imagine yourself in situations where you could use it and say it out loud to yourself. When you walk into a restaurant, you can say Sal Barberini. When you go into a hotel, you can say, Tell me when you go into a shop towels my mini even when you're out on a walk in the Park Tao. But in me, So that's your fierce motor town. Bambini, Your second motor is going to be your response to this question. Again, there are numerous ways that you could do this, you could say See, Ballymena grad C l A. My religion means yes, I'm going. Well, thank you. And you, you could say Vatel been a l A which literally means I'm going well. And you we could keep it short and simple. It's a Ben Li l a, which means well, And you we could be a bit more polite and say many Garratt C l a, which means Well, thank you. And you, you could use start instead and say things like See, stormwater Baena Grax e l a. Which means, yes, I'm very well, thank you. And you Or you could say stop in L. A. I'm well, And you Motoman may l? A very well. And you or you could say, multiple demographics. C l a Very well, thank you. And you. So again, just pick your favorite. Andi, install it. Say it again and again and again. Every time someone asks you how you are, say one of these answers very quickly, it will become so engrained in your brain that you don't have to think about how to say it . It'll just come out. So your first motor was Tao bob any and your second motor was the answer to that model Manigat C. L. A. Remember, however, that if you ask somebody how they are and then they ask you back, you don't then say and you on the end of your response, or else you could be in an endless spiral of and Jews. Therefore, the second motor, the motor of any glad C l. A. Can have the bit at the end put into brackets. And so the lay part is in brackets, and it's only there for if somebody else asks you first, don't worry that if you do say and you and you were the one who asked in the first place, this can happen even in English. I know many times when I've been in the awkward and you situation where someone says, Hi, how are you? And they say, Fine, thanks. How are you? And you say, Yes, I'm of things. And you? Yes, I'm fine. You would ask me that people make mistakes, and sometimes a mistake in a foreign language can be an ice breaker. It could be endearing, and it can even make someone to talk to you more. But anyway, install these two motors by saying them to yourself again and again. And then when you're traveling through in a telephone country that's an Italian speaking country, you can win them out and speak like the natives do. 11. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 27f: So in this lesson. May I have a room for tonight, please? 16. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 27.5a: I thought I would add a little extra bit to the previous lesson. This is because there is more than one way to ask How are you in Italian? Previously we learned the question calm Eva or Kami Valet on the answer. Volatile being the grant. See Vado, manicure, etc. But as you know, this isn't the only way. An expression we've already seen on which will hear a lot is mavynee Rabeni. It means, is it going well? Vab any and you can use it in a similar way to the English question. Are you all right? As I said, there are numerous ways to ask. How are you in Italian? Here are a few ways to ask How are you? Pick your favorite, Andi. Install it as a motor by saying it again and again. So we've had co mista Calmest away means how are you? Stop in me some in may means are you well mavynee Bob any means Is it all right or are things all right? Come, Eva Com Eva means how is it going or how are things? And then we can start to play around with words that we've already learned. For example, do toe stab Toto stomach. That means Is everything okay? So we've learned Toto before, Meaning everything. So you can say to toast amend, Is everything okay? Or instead, you could say Tovar in a 11 a Is everything going well? There are also lots of different ways to answer the question. And so we can to say, Ben, they Ben they Which means fine Ben name or we can say volatile. Many battle Bandini I'm doing well. Stollmann sto bene means I'm fine. The question Vinnie can also be an answer. Vab any can mean things are going well. Babin knee So things are going well. Oh, it's going well. That may come say some negative things and you can say non tamale Non chamoli meaning not bad Non t Miley family family means is going badly or things are going badly. The word Miley means badly in Italian. So family things are going badly Or you could say known Bobby and me non by many things aren't going well or it's not going well, so they're lost different ways to answer the question on to ask the question. So what you should do is pick the one that you like the most on, then install it as a motor by saying it again and again and again, and you haven't got to just pick one, pick one at first and install that one and then use it when you go out in Italy. But then, once you get used to the 1st 1 pick another one and then pick another one, and soon you'll have three or four different ways to ask people how they are and to answer the question, how are you? 17. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 27.5b: So I've just said that you'll hear the expression vab in a quite a lot. Literally. It means it goes well, but you can use it as a question to ask how things are. So Robin Li. Another useful thing about Rabeni is that you can put it in front of things to ask how they are too. For example, you can put it in front of a name. Balboni. Paolo Rabeni Paolo Means is power doing okay? Va bene Toto cabinet. Toto, Is everything going okay? Robin? L love a cancer va bene liver cancer means is the holiday going well? Because lava cancer means the holiday or the vacation vab any lava cancer? There are also numerous ways to say goodbye to somebody in Italian. So we've seen a river charity. A river dirty means goodbye literally until we see each other again. Our river, their team tell town just means by Tao. Then we can say things like Chief EDI Arma DVD ammo literally TV Amma means we see each other, but you can use it to mean we'll see each other soon. We'll see you soon. Chief of the Animal and ah POH and ah POH means See you later. The little are in front. Off adopt is a useful little word in Italian. If you put in front of any time expression, it can mean see you whenever. So, for example, are pure attorney up you tardy while Pew Charity means later. So a pew charity means See you later. Al Amidi. A unity means see one Monday. So unity means Monday. Al Unity asked a Say it. I start seeing a means. See you tonight will see us evening asked the Sierra and or money? I don't mind me. Undermining you know means tomorrow. So add Amani means. See you tomorrow, Ala pro Seema Allah Perot. Seema La Proxima in Italian means the next. And so when you put out with LA, it becomes Allah. One word. So Allah Proxima literally means See you the next or in English is a See you next time, Allah Proxima oppressed. No, a presto means. See you shortly. So right, all of these expressions down. Andi, use them as and when you feel confident enough, you might just pick one way off saying, How are you one way to say hello? And then one way to say goodbye. But if you learn all the expressions, at least you'll know what everybody else is saying around you. Plus, as you get more confident, you'll be more inclined to use different ways to say hello and different ways to ask people how they are rather than the same one each time. But to start with, just pick one and use it again and again and again until it becomes so ingrained in your mind that you use it without thinking. 18. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28a: Let's start this lesson with a quick recap off the words and phrases that we learned in the last lesson. How do you say in Italian? Are you going valet? Just van. Are you going to stop there or style A bear? How? Go on me. How are you? Com. Eva Okami Valet or the way of saying How are you? Go, Mista? Oh, calmest away. Fine or well, Ben, May! I'm going vandal! I'm going to stop there. I'm not going non Vado, I'm not going to nonstop air. I'm doing well. Vatel. Bandini? I'm well stop any His a useful word in Italian. So no, son, No, it means I am. So no. How would you say I am here tomorrow? So no qui domani? So no quid Omani. Or how would you say I am polo? So no power? No. So no Paolo. Oh, how would you say I am Maria? So no, Maria. So no, Maria, How would you say hello? I am Paolo and I'd like a table for two, please. Tao Sana, Paolo Avery on Cavallo. Paraguay per February. How so? No, Paolo Avery in tableau paranoia Whipper February. Here's your next phrase in Italian a lay L. A or just a where we've seen that a by itself could mean it is. And if you put a lay on the end, then it changes the meaning to our use of A or l A can mean. Are you? So how would you say in Italian? Where are you? No, they or double A Are you Maria A Maria? Oh, a lay Maria. 19. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28b: How would you ask an Italian? Are you marking aim article L A Marco, remember that in the last lesson I told you that. Call me start Lay Gomes. Delay means how are you? Well, you might be thinking that Call me a Lee would also mean How are you? Well, word for word. Yes, it does. Call me how a lay are you However you would never say Go me Ellie toe Ask how somebody is feeling Call me. L A is used to ask What do you look like? Literally. How in terms off eye color hair color personality are you so just remember that when you're asking somebody how they're feeling Use Gomez Stop Play calmest Alei means How are you? As in how are you feeling? Whereas gourmet a lay means What do you look like now? This next words a nice little word Imp in Otto Imp in Otto it means busy impinge Otto. So how would you say in Italian? I am busy so no in Penneteau So no in pinata. I am very busy. So no more photo in Penneteau. So normal toe in pain, Otto. So in this lesson, so far we've had. So no. Which means I am l A Meaning are you and impunity, Otto, which means busy. So how would you say I am too busy? So no troponin Panatta. So no dropper in Panatta. And how would you say I am busy tomorrow? So no in Kenya Toe Domani So no in Penneteau Domani. So in Penny Otto means busy any time. 20. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28c: How would you ask him? Italian? Are you busy? A. M Bonauto Oh l a In Banat. It's busy. A company Otto A company. Otto. It isn't very busy. No anymore. Twin Penneteau None Emoto in Penneteau. It's always busy here. A simpering Penneteau A cemetery in Pinar Toki. I am too busy tomorrow. So no troppo in Pignon Domani So no troppo in Kenya to the money. Power is busy tomorrow. Paolo, A company out of the money. Bono, A symphony. Otto the money. Here's another adjective that you can use with. So no in Italian stank or Stunkel. It means tired. Stunkel. So how would you say I am very tired, So no more little Stanko. So no more toast. Ankle? Are you tired? A Stunkel. A Stunkel. Go away, Stunkel. How would you say Marco is too tired? Miracle! A true post ankle. Marco. A triple Stanko. I'm always tired, so no simple Rest Ankle. So no Sem Priest, Ankle 21. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28d: his your next phrase in Italian. Different, different. It means in a hurry. Different. So how would you say I'm in a hurry? So no different. So no deflate them. Are you in a hurry? Eight. Ephrata. So l a different. Now we've had I am Andi. Are you? Well, here's the next phrase in Italian. Louis A. Louis A. It means he is. The Louis is optional is only needed when it's unclear as to whom you're speaking about. So you can just say But Louis A means he is. So how would you say he is here tomorrow? Louis? A quick Domani Louis acquittal. Manny, we can just say a quick Domani. He's here tomorrow. How would you say he is too busy? Lui troppo in Beneteau Lui Troppo in Penneteau or again the Louis adoptions They come to say a drop in Penneteau. How would you say he is there a lot, Ayla or Louis? Ella? And this phrase goes well with he is lay a les. It means she is lay a and again the lay is optional in Italian and it's only needed to clarify whom you're speaking about. You might have water noticed that this phrase is almost identical to the phrase meaning. Are you in Italian? The word lay means she les when it's a lower case L But when you have a capital l lay means you. In speaking, you obviously can't hear the difference between a capital L on 11 case l. So lay sounds the same, so sometimes it can get a little confusing. But most of the time it's clear human speaking about in writing. However, if it's a lower case, L it means she and it was a capital l that it means you. So how would you say she is here tomorrow? Lay a queen Omani lay a quick money or you going to say a quick no money? No, I've just said that when it's a capital l it means you on when it's a lower case. L it means she. But here we've got lay with a capital l Well, when you put lay at the start of a sentence, you need to put a capital letter because it's the start of a sentence. And so, in this instance, it's actually impossible to tell whether it means she or you. And so this sentence lay a quick Domani can actually mean she is here tomorrow. But it could also mean you I hear tomorrow the context will make it clear. However, which one you're referring to? How would you say she is there? Les Ella, Les Ella, Or just a lot? 22. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28e: in this lesson, we've learned a few more adjectives. However, if you want to say something like she is busy, you'll need to know the feminine version off the adjective in Kenya. Well, in Penny Otto means busy in masculine form of the adjective and it becomes impotent. Yetta in Panetta in the feminine form of the adjective. Similarly, Stunkel thank all means tired and that's the masculine form of the adjective in the feminine. It becomes thangka. Thank you. The phrase diferente different That which means in a hurry doesn't change it all so different is in a hurry in the masculine form And diferente is also in a hurry in the feminine form. But you'll notice that with imp in Yatil Onda Stunkel that they both end in the letter o If an adjective ends in the letter O or you have to do to make it feminine is change the 02 and a so in Vinyard Oh became in banana and Stanko becomes stank. So how would you say in Italian? He is busy a in Penneteau or Louis a empanada. How would you say she is busy a in Pignon or lay in Panetta? I've said before that in Louis A. Which means he is on Blais, which means she is. Lui and Lei are optional. Andi here you don't need to say the lay because it's clear that we're talking about she since the empanada ends in an A that tells us that it's talking about Is she? So lay limp Anapa. We don't need to say the late into say a in pina. She is busy. How would you say he is tired? Est ankle a Stunkel or Louis est ankle? How would you say she is tired s Tangka? It's Thangka, Ole s Thangka. How would you say he is in a hurry? A different. Or Louis Eddie Fred. And she is in a hurry, a different or lay a different. And so here with the phrase diferente because it's not clear as to whether you're talking about a he or a she. Then you should try and put the Louis and play in front of Louis Ed Ephrata. He is in a hurry and lay eight Ephrata. She is in a hurry 23. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28f: How would you say in Italian? Marco is busy. Maracle A MPA Nieto Marco A empanada Otto. And how would you say Maria is busy? Maria A. M. Panetta. Maria A. M. Panetta. How would you say Paolo is tired? Paulo s Tonko Pownall s Tonko. And how do you say Maria is tired? Maria s Tonka Maria is Thangka. How would you say Carlo is in a hurry? Carlo Aid. Ephrata. Carlo. Eddie, Fred. Or how would you say Carla is in a hurry? Carla? A different Carla Eddie. Fred. So in this lesson, so far, we've had sawn. Or which means I am a o l A meaning are you in Penneteau, which means busy in the feminine we get in Panetta, which means busy Stunkel means tired and that changes to thank in the feminine diferente. Diferente is afraid that means in a hurry on. This doesn't change when it's describing a feminine known Louis a Louis A or just a means he is and lay a or just a means. She is so so no means I am. Well, here's the opposite off. So no non son non son. No, it means I'm not non son. No, literally The word non means not. And so when you say non so no word for word you're saying not I am Or in English. I am not. So how would you say in Italian? I'm not here tomorrow. Non son of Queen, Omani non son of Queen, Omani 24. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28g: How do you say in Italian? I'm not Marco. No news on America Nonce on America. I'm not busy known Sonar in Penny Otto. Non Sano in Penneteau. I'm not tired. Notice. Understand? Call known sauna. Stanko. I'm not in a hurry. Known. Solidly fret non. So no different. If your female Andi, you're saying all the sentences that we've just had. Make sure you remember to use the feminine versions of the adjectives so non so. Most ankle means I'm not tired, but in the feminine version, you would say non Sarno's thank I'm not tired. So the Stunkel becomes stank er in the feminine. Don't worry if you get this wrong there, it's only a minor thing, Andi. It won't be anything different if you accidentally forget to use the feminine form off the adjective. Here's the opposite off Louis A. Louis Non a Louis Non A. It means he isn't Louis non. A. So Louis a means he is on Louis. Nani means he isn't the opposite. Off Lay a is lay non A. So we have to do is put non in front of the air, so lay means she is lay non a means she isn't so. How would you say in Italian? He isn't here tomorrow. Louis Nani Queen, Omani Louis Non equipped Domani She isn't Maria Les Nani Maria Les Nani Maria She isn't tired. Lay non is Thangka Les Norris. Thank 25. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28h: How would you say in Italian? She isn't very tired. Lay no animal Toss Tonka les None immortals Thank or the layers optional. So he could just say non immortals. Thangka, How would you say she is not in a hurry? Les Known any threat? Les Nani Different data or just known a different How would you say he isn't busy? Louis known impanel Louis Nana in Penneteau Or just known a in Penneteau. The phrase Louis a means he is, But it can be used as a question too. All you have to do is put a question mark on the end of the sentence and you get Louis A. Which means is he similarly with late A. You can do the same things that lay a I mean, is she in the question? So how would you say in Italian? Is he busy Louis in pinata Louis am pinata? Or is she tired? Les is Thangka lay a stinker. Is he Paolo? Louis a Paolo Louis a Paolo. So literally What you're saying is he is Paolo Louis a pound. How would you say? Is he in a hurry? Louis? Any threat? Louis and Ephrata? Is she there? les Ayla. Les Ella. Is he here tomorrow? Louis? A queen of money. Louis Acquit Donny. Is she busy? Lay him. Panetta, Les Imp Anapa. Where is he? No value. We Nova Louis sale notice. This one's a bit different. You can actually put the word Louis anywhere in a sentence. So Norway means Where is it or where is he? And if you put Louis on the end, then it definitely means Where is he? Nova Louis, You could say Dora Louis A. Or you can play Louis. Or you can even say Louis Nova. So there were Louis in Italian Can go anywhere in the sentence. The same goes with the word lay. So how would you say, Where is she? No valet, Don't bet Lay. Nor will a or lay Davi. So the word lay again can go anywhere in the sentence. So in this lesson, we've had sun or meaning. I am l. A. Which means are you in Penny? Otto means busy. And in the feminine you get in pinata Stunkel means tired and in the family knew, gets thanked. Diferente means in a hurry. And it's the same in the masculine and feminine. Louis a means he is. Les means she is non so. No, it means I'm not Louis. Nani means he isn't lay non a means she isn't Louis a with a question mark on the end. You mean is he Onda lay a with a question mark on the end. Could mean is she? And don't forget that the words Lui and Lei in any sense it's an Italian can go anywhere. And so they haven't got to go in front of the a bacon Go at the end or the start of the sentence, it doesn't matter. 26. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28i: it's time now to practice what we've learned in this lesson. How do you say in Italian? I'm here tomorrow, so no quick. Nomani Sana, quit Domani. She is at the hotel a a little bear ago who lay a a little bear ago. I'm at the hotel so know a little bit ago. So no albergo. I'm very tired. So normal toast Ankle. So no more toast Ankle? He's at the restaurant. A al restaurant pay or Louis a restaurant. He is too tired. Apropos Franko Oh, Louis A troppo. Stanko. Is she very busy Tomorrow a multi empanada domani Or lay a multi company a total money and say have to use in pinata which is the feminine version off the word busy. How would you say in Italian? He isn't tired, but he's in a hurry. Nani Stanko Marr Ed Ephrata Louis noticed ankle maready Fret I'm not going to the restaurant tonight. I'm too busy. Non Vado al restaurante Stasi era. So not rapport in Penneteau Non Vado al restaurante Stasi era. So not dropping Penneteau. Where is he? No way. Oh no value. We 27. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28j: Now let's do some reverse translations. What do these Italian tendencies mean in English? No vest. Sophia does. Sofia? Where is the fear? A motive or no restaurant? So Notre Post Ankle, a multi born no restaurant. They mustn't troppo Stanko. It's very good at the restaurant, But I'm too tired. A pew empanada Louis a pure in Penneteau He is busier. Louis A motor empanada toward G. Louis Moton Pony Ottawa G Is he very busy today? L a l s p Odjidja L A l s p Andrea, Are you at the beach? This sentence can actually mean. Are you at the beach? Or it could also mean. Is she at the beach? However, Because in the written form we have a capital L in Les. Then it means you in spoken Italian. You can't tell the difference and so spoken. L a l s p Andrea It can mean Are you at the beach or is she at the beach? Nonce honest ankle known Sana Stanko. I'm not tired. A que aura! L a queen Omani. I can t aura a lake. We domani What time are you here? Tomorrow? No news on a queen. Non Asano qui I'm not here. Les Manila. Les Nana. She isn't there or you want there. And so this sentence, even in the written form because the word lay comes at the start of the sentence, it has to have a capital l. And so it can mean you or she so lay non a lot can mean she isn't there or you want there no non sort of Stan call my son a mortal company. Otto No North Korea. Stanko Mass Inamoto in Pettinato. No, I'm not tired, but I'm very busy. 28. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 28k: Now what will you want? Some recap. Translations to incorporate words and phrases that we learned in previous lessons. I s tr to m r. You still pronounce m r Mr So Senor becomes s I g Siniora gets shortened slightly to s I g full stop our A And that means Mrs Siniora Andi Finally signorina gets shortened to s I g full stop in a signorina. How do you say in Italian, Mr Senor, which you can shorten, Do s I g Mrs Senora, which can be shortened to s I g doctor are a myth, signorina, which can Jordan to s i g dot n a. I'm called Mickey Ammo and I have okay. Is your first phrase for this lesson in normal D in No. Maybe it means in the name off in normal the So how would you say in Italian? I have a reservation in the name of Smith. Oh, when a parent at sea on it in normal. Dismissed. Oh, when I print out at sea only in normally Smith it's in the name off Bianchi A in normal de Bianchi A in normally Bianchi, do you have a reservation in the name of Ferrari? Ah, when a parent Etzioni in normally Ferrari Ah, when a printer, etc on it in normal de Ferrari. My reservation is in the name of Colombo. Lamia printed Cioni a enorme eight de Colombo Lamia Pregnant Etzioni a enorme e d Colombo. The table is in the name off. Richie Tavel o a In normally Richie, you travel o a in normal de Richie 39. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 30b: Here's a nice phrase in Italian hope Renata. Oh, parental tac toe. It means I have reserved or I have booked and you might be able to see where it comes from . The word pregnant at Cioni we've already had means reservation Well, opera, not Otto. I have reserved And so they come from the same base word. So how would you say in Italian? I have booked a table open a Tato in Tavel Oh, Oprah, not Otto In tableau I have reserved a table open a tattle intar below. And so it's the same again or parental Tato Cavallo. And so in English you can say I have booked or I have reserved. Whereas in Italian you just always say Oh Moreno Tato, How would you say I've reserved a table for three people in the name off Alfonsi Oprah Not Otto Montevallo Trip Arizona in no medial phones e open a Tato Cavallo Per trip Arizona In normal deal Fonzie, I've booked a room for two people open on the auto. When I time, it appeared with his own name. Open Montalto una cometa pair. Do it. There is only here's your next word in Italian and it happens to be a verb. Gumby Adi come b r e. It means to change Camby. Ari. So how would you say in Italian? Can I change? My reservation also can be Ari Lamia. Print that Cioni Postal, Camby, Ari, Lamia, Print Etzioni. And so Cam. BRD can mean to change or just change, because sometimes in English we say to change, as in, I would like to change my reservation, whereas other times in English we just a change. Can I change my reservation? In Italian? However, you always say Come BRT so postal Camby, Ari, Lamia, Pray not Etzioni. How would you say I would like to change my reservation? Voor a. Camby, Ari Lamia, Pregnant Etzioni Voreqe am br Lamia Pray not Etzioni. I'm going to change my reservation. Stop. There can be Ari Lamia. Print that Cioni stopper. Camby. Ari, Lamia. Plant that Cioni. Are you going to change the reservation stopper? Come very lab print. Etzioni or Stahl? A pair. Camby, Ari LeBron's. Etzioni 40. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 30c: So we've just seen that cam BRT means change or to change. Well, if you add a little bit to the end of Camby, Ari, you get can be our law can be our law, which means to change it. So, Camby, Arlo And so the law on the end means it. So you can hook the law on the end by taking the E off the end of Camby, Ari, and changing it to law can be Arlo to change it. So how would you say in Italian? I'm going to change it tomorrow. Stop. There can be arrow domani stop. There can be Arlo Domani You can put low on the end off Any verb in Italian to mean it or you have to do is take the e away from the end of the verb and put a lot on the end instead . So we've had cambiado law, which means to change it. You can say things like far law, which means to make it knowledge are low means to hire it. So knowledge ari means to hire and knowledge are low toe higher it. So all you have to do is take the e off the end off of herbs. A Camby ari becomes come br, and then you can hook. The lock on the end can be, are low and fiery becomes Farlow. There's one more thing to know. Remember how Italian mounds can either be feminine or masculine? Well, the it can change depending on what it's referring to. For example, if you want to say, Can I change it on your talking about changing a reservation, then the it would be feminine because the word pregnant at Cioni is feminine in Italian, so the feminine word for it in Italian is laugh instead of no. Therefore, you would say postal Kambia, Postal, Kambia to mean. Can I change it? So every time you want to put it with a vote, think is it masculine or feminine? And then use law from masculine words and laugh. If it's feminine, so can I change it when you're referring to. The reservation is possible, Camby Arla, because Parayno that Cioni, which means reservation, is feminine. However, if you were to say, can I change it on your a fairing to the coat? Well, the word capital, which means coat is masculine, and so you would say Bosso Camby Arlo, can I change it? Because the it is masculine. So just to clarify can be our law and can be Adebola both mean to change it Cambiado is used when the it is referring to something masculine can be. Arla is used when the it is referring to something feminine. So how would you say I have a reservation? But I would like to change Oh, on a planet that Cioni Ma Murray can be Arla Oh, when a plant that Cioni my very Kambia Or how would you say I have this coat? But I would like to change it. Orquesta Capital Maverick can be Arlo Oh, Quest aka Pato Maverick can be Arlo 41. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 30d: How would you say in Italian? I'm going to pay it and you're referring to the bill, which is ill corn stopper Pegoraro still pair pagar No. Can I paid also by Garlow Here is another word that has a lot on the end pro Barlow We've already seen provide e which means to try and so you can work out that provide alot means to try it. So in this lesson, so far we've had in or me d which means in the name of Oprah Chatto, meaning I have reserved or I have booked Come B adi, which means to change can be Arlo or can be Abdullah both mean to change it when you're referring too masculine, more feminine objects. Similarly, bag are low or Bagarella both me and to pay for it or provide Arlo and Provida both mean to try it. So how would you say, can I try it on your fairing to a masculine object? Bhosle provide alot fossil provide alot. I would like to try it for a pro. Barlow for a pro. Barlow. Now, if you're not sure as to whether the object you're referring to is masculine or feminine, then just go for masculine. And so if you're pointing to some sort of food and you didn't know what it was and he wanted to say, I would like to try it, then just they for a pro. Barlow. This is because the law is the masculine word for it, but it's also used as the general word for it. And so when you're not sure what something is, then you won't know whether it's masculine feminine, so you can use the general word, which is just law so far. Are a part of animal could mean. I would like to try it when you're not sure as to what something is masculine or feminine. Also, if you do make a mistake, Onda call something feminine when it's masculine or cause something masculine. Feminine is not the end of the world. It means the same thing. The only reason why there is a masculine and feminine word for it is to make it clear as to what you are faring, too. And so if you point to something on, there's a pizza on the table on there's also a sandwich. Well, pizza is a pizza on some, Which is it panino. And so if you said for a pro Varla, then that's clear that you're talking about the pizza. Whereas if you said for a pro Barlow, that's clear that you're talking about the sandwich. But as I said, if you do model them up, don't worry, because it's not the end of the world. 42. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 30e: How do you say in Italian? I'm going to try it. Stop Air provided Stop pair provide alot Are you going to try it? Stop there Provide alot Oh style a per provide alot Now here's another word you comport law or lap on the end off fiery And you get Farlow Oh, Farella which mean make it or to make it Farlow. Oh, Farrah. Now you've already learned that fired a means to make in Italian. But it also has another meaning fiery can also mean to do. Therefore Farlow and Varla can mean to make it or to do it. So how would you say in Italian? Can I do it tomorrow post? So far, a lot of money post so far a lot of money. I'm going to make it tomorrow Stopper Farlow Domani, Stop there, Farrell. Oh, no money. What time I going to do it? A que aura stopper. Farlow O K. Aura Stahl A pair. Farlow. Here's another time phrase type word. Order, Order. It means now. Order. So how would you say in Italian? Stop by Carlo. Order stopper back are low order Now. This next phrase pure star the means later. Pure barony now literally, pure thoroughly means more late. The word pure means more entirely means late. So if you say more late Italian brutality than it means later. So how would you say in Italian? Can I pay later? Posso Piggery. Pew Charity also pagar pewter. Or how would you say? Can I pay it later? Posso Pagar Lope, You 30. Poor sopa Garlow pew Tardy. I'm going to the beach later. Oh, can be a gorilla means to change. It can be at a low is used when referring to masculine objects on Camby, Arla is used when the it is feminine by Carlo on Bagarella both mean to pay for it. Prove Arlo pro Varla mean to try it. Farlow and Varla both mean to do it. Or to make it what I means now. And pew Tardini means later. 44. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 30g: It's time now to practice what we've learned in this lesson. How do you say in Italian? Excuse me, Do you have a table for two? 58. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32a: Let's start this lesson with a quick recap of the words and phrases that we learned in the last lesson. How do you say in Italian? What? Okay, closer. Okay. Khoza to order organ Adi, do you want voil e of one l a to drink Berry today org And to eat Monge Adi Now you've amalgamated quite a collection off Italian words and phrases on Do you start to learn how to putting together to build sentences? What we're going to start doing now is learning how to speak more quickly and without having to think so hard, I'm going to introduce you to a technique called building structures. This will start to help to clarify the different structures of the Italian language as well as make it more like a reflex. This means you'll be able to speak naturally and not have to think everything through like it's a maths equation. The whole of the Italian language is made up of different structures of words. If you know the words and you know which order to put them in, you can speak the language in the whole language. There are only a handful of different structures. Andi in this lesson. We're going to learn the 1st 1 structure in one. The first structure is one you've already met. Although at the time I didn't tell you it was an important Italian structure. Structure one consists of just three parts and here is an example of it in use. Causa Morley Man Jari Cause of worry Man Jari means what do you want to eat? Cause of oily Manjarrez? Let's break structure down into its three components on Give each component a name Causa causa means what? Andi? It's a question. Would voil e of worldly means Do you want Andi? It's something that we call an infinitive carrier and explain this more in a moment. Monge, Ari Monge Adi means to eat and this is an infinitive. So we have a question. Would causa an inventive carrier of oily andan infinitive Man Jari, that's the first structure in Italian. Now you may be wondering what on earth an infinitive Andi an infinitive carrier are well, an infinitive is just a verb and a verb is a word you comport to in front off, for example, to eat, to drink, to speak, to smoke, to go, to be to hear to arrive. To leave an infinitive carrier is anywhere. Do you comport an infinitive on the end off in English? We have things like I would like on do you want and I'm going because you comport infinitives on the end of these, for example, I would like to eat. I would like to drink. I would like to go. Do you want to leave? Do you want to call? Do you want to eat? I'm going to arrive. I'm going to go. I'm going to dance. We can change any off the three parts in this structure. For example, instead of saying causer at the start, which means what we could change it to Davi. Meaning where so Cause of worry, Man Jari means what do you want to eat? And if we change the cause up to Doggie We get Doe V Worley Man Jari Meaning where do you want to eat? Or we could change it to Quentin. Which means when Qandeel Worley Mandiri, When do you want to eat? Did you notice how the rest of the structures stay? The same. The voice The man Jari part doesn't older. It'll just because you've changed the question with at the start. So that's three question words that we could use at the start off structure one doorway meaning where Cause, uh, meaning what and quando meaning when. 59. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32b: using Structure one. Here's a list off. A few question Wears a few infinitive carriers on quite a few infinitives. What we're going to do is use this list of words to get used to structure one by making up some questions. So the question was, we have our door V Meaning where? Causa Meaning what? Que order A k order. Which means at what time? A k order? Literally. It means at what hour? At k order Cuando we've already had meaning when? And call me, Call me, which means how. Call me some infinitive carriers are boss. So post so meaning Can I Pasta Worley Voil e meaning do you want and stop bear stop bear means on your going Stop bear. Then we have some infinitives. We have a man, Jari, meaning eat or to eat Maddie. Meaning drink or to drink or denarii, meaning order or to order. Now, the reason why I put the two in brackets on these words in the inventive list is because sometimes in English we say that too. But other times we miss it off. For example, what do you want to do? But then what can I do in the first sentence. We say the word too, but not in the second sentence. So we've had man Jari Man Jari meaning to eat or eat baddie baddie, Meaning drink or to drink and or denarii order denarii, which means to order, order provide e provide means try or to try pro body. If you've listened to three minutes Italian course to then you'll know this word already provided. Also, you'll know this next word. Paige. Ari. I got three, which means pay or to pay Fathi Fathi means either to do or to make. So far, he has two meanings. Do or make know ledge ari knowledge Ari means to hire or higher and Dari unde r e means to go or just go on Dari preliminary. Preliminary. This means to take or just take Brendan. I very are very means Have or to have a very and Camby Ari Camby Ari, which means to change or change Kambia. Now there's not a words here, but what we can do is used them to start to build up questions using the three parts. So we'll pick it up. Pick a question word. An infinitive carrier. Andi infinitive If you like what you can do is get a piece of paper and twist into three columns like we have here on port titles, Question, word, infinitive, carrier and infinitive on. Write them down on a piece of paper to have you to use them in these next translation exercises. 60. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32c: So how would you say in Italian? Where can I pay Novy Postal bag? Ari? No, The postal. Barry, how would you say What can I eat? Close up, postal man Djuhari cause a possum on Jari. Where do you want to eat? Don't leave one man. Jari. No V Worley, Man Jari, what do you want to drink? Because I've wanted Maddie Kloza Worley Berry. What are you going to order Gaza stop or the 90 cause? I stopped at a world denarii by building questions using structure one. You'll not only get yourself more familiarized with the vocabulary and the structure, but you also without even trying, reduced the time it takes for you to string a sentence together in Italian. Let's do a few more. What are you going to do? Because I stopped firing cause I stopped firing. How do you want to pay? Call me. Voy a pagar. Call me Woody Paige Rd. What can I try cause? Oppose Oprah Body cause up. Also provide 61. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32d: now. So far, I have said that the first structure is made up of three parts. However, there is 1/4 part extra information. So the fourth part off structure one is simply extra information such as noun adjectives, time words, etcetera and we can add the extra information onto the end of the question toe ad. Well, extra information, for example, cause of worry. Man Jari means what you want to eat. But you could say causa worley manjarrez Sauceda, which means what you want to eat tonight. So starts the era means tonight or delivery man Daddy means where do you want to eat? But you could say dove in William and I domani, which means, Where do you want to eat tomorrow? Cause of worry, Fiery cause of one of fatty means what you want to do, but you could put order on the end, which means now, and you'll get cause up of oily, fiery order, which means what you want to do now because out 45 the order. So we've had a few question words. A few infinitive carriers on quite a few infinitives. So here are some extra information words that you can use on the end of your questions. Domani Domani means tomorrow Domani org Orgy means today Orgy staff Sierra Stassi era means tonight Stasi era order Order means now in Italian order. Pew Tire Lee Pew. Tired me means later, literally pure means more entirely means late. So what you're what you're saying is more late or later. Brutality aroma. A aroma means to Rome or in room at Roma in Italia. Genitalia means to Italy or in Italy. The reason why we have a Roma. But then in Italia, it's because when you are talking about a town or a city in Italian, you use the word for two or in a Roma two room or in room, or a Milan would be to Milan or in Milan. However, if you're talking about a country in Italian, you use the word in for two or in. That's what we have in Italia, which means to Italy or in Italy, where you could have in India terror, which means to England or in England I'll restaurant. They I'll restaurant. They means at the restaurant or to the restaurant, either upon you know it is. Polo means the chicken. It'll partner ill Kappa Tau Roso Capito. Roso. This means the red coat. Literally The coat. That's Red Capito. Rasta Coun bill. Yet one bill yet means a ticket. One billion patted my article Pitt and medical means for Marca Pair Marco Queen Queen means here Queen. So now you're armed with some extra information words You commit your questions a little more adventurous. How would you say in Italian? What are you going to do now? Of course. I stopped at a fatty order Prose that Stop it! Finally! Order! What are you going to do for Marco? Cause a stopper for repair. Marco Kloza, Stop! Afari paramedical! What time you want to eat? Later? AC aorta Volley man Jari Pewter Me, Okay. Would have wanted man Daddy put out of me. 62. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32e: manipulating structure One you can manipulate structure one in many different ways. For example, you can take certain bits out to make different types of questions. You don't always have to stick all three parts together. Let's see what happens when you don't put the question word at the start. How would you say in Italian? Do you want to eat Worley man Jari Worley Mandiri. So there's no question Word at start, you know thing what you want to eat or where you want to eat your simply saying Do you want to eat Warning man? Johnny, how would you say, Do you want to eat here? Volume Angelique, We Worley Mandaric we Or how would you ask? Are you going to pay? Stop it! It by Gadhafi. Stop pair Bugatti. Or how would you ask? You want to pay the bill now? Volley piggery. Alcantara. Water volley. Pagar, you can't order now. Let's see what happens if you don't port in infinitive on the end. How would you say this in Italian? What do you want? Cause I've only course I've Worley. So we're simply saying a question word. Andi, An infinitive carrier cause of Worley. But what actually is an infinitive. I said it. Iran that an infinitive is just a VEB. However, it's specifically the whole verb, which in English usually has the word to in front of it. But not always in Italian. Infinitives will always end in either letters e r e i r e or a R e so that always end in the sound a e j o r e So far in Italian, we've had man Jari, which means to eat bad a meaning to drink or denarii mean to order nobody which means to try. I got it meaning to pay Fathi which can either mean to make or to do no only job meaning to hire Trenary which means to take, are very meaning to have or come be I meaning to change So they're all infinitives. 63. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32f: what actually is an inventive carrier? Well, an infinitive carrier is basically a word or an expression that can be followed by an infinitive. I've only given you a few infinitive carriers so far. We've had boss so parcel, which means can I stop Bear Stop bear? Meaning? Are you going to and Worley warmly? Which means do you want? You can put any infinitive on the end of these infinitive carriers to make your question for structure one. Do you want to eat? Do you want to drink? Do you want to pay? Do you want to go? Do you want to try? In Italian, you'd have Worley Mandiri Volley Berry, Woody Paige, Ari Volume Diary What He put a body. There are a few more infinitive carriers that you'll meet in later lessons, and they'll make life much easier. What actually is a question word, a question where it doesn't really need much explanation. It's easier just to see what they are. So far, we've looked at five question words, but there's only a small number of question where's altogether. So what we'll do is learn them all now in Italian, The question was, Are doggy doggy meaning where door v causa causa, which means walked causa que order a k order, which means at what time? At k order Cuando Quentin meaning when Quentin call me Call Me means how in Italian Call me quietly, quietly means which or which one quietly Perich. A picking means why Eric a cuenta cuenta means how much cuenta 20 20 means how many quantity, the words quantum and quantity. We get the word quantity from in English, and the quantity is how much or how many of something there is so quanta. How much and 20 How many Quanta Temple, Quanta Temple. We're literally This means how much time quanta tempo. But you can use it to mean how long it's a quantum tempo, how long and finally key key, Which means both. Who? Andi Who? There's no difference in Italian so key. Who or whom key. The CH in town, you probably noticed, is pronounced like a K. That's why it's key and not G. It's a key who or whom. So how would you say Italian? What you want to do because of Willie? Finally cause of worry Fathi, how did you want to pay the bill? Call me Volley Pagar Comey Waly Bagayoko Which one do you want Quietly, Worley. Quietly. Worley, Why don't hire car better cave or in early January? Maquina Perich a volley knowledge, Ari. When I Mark, you know how much do you want to eat? Quintal? William. Injury. Quintal. Volumen Jari. Where can I hire a car? Dobie personally. Giardina Makina Dobie Personally, Jari una maquina. When you want to eat Cuando volume injury Wendell Wardiman jockey What time can I go? Okay. What a porcelain daddy A k order Porcelain daddy. 64. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32g: now in the question words, we've got the word quietly, quietly, which means which one well in Italian quietly can change, depending on what it's referring to. Quietly is actually the singular version off the word meaning, which or which one. But you can change it slightly to quietly. So if you change the E on the end to an eye, you get quietly. And that means which or which ones in the plural, so quietly is which one quietly is which ones. So you use quietly when you were faring to single. Announce when there's any one of something you use quietly. When you're a fairing to PLO announce when there's more than one of something closer causa means what? But there is more than one way to say what in Italian, in fact, there are three so causa means what? Okay, okay, also means what you've seen care in AKI order at what time? So causa and K both mean what on what you can also do is put those two words together and you get que causa. And that's the third way of saying what So to say what in Italian, you can either say causa okay, Okay, Causa. You can use them all interchangeably. Just pick the one you prefer. So cause of Worley means what you want. Cave Worley means what do you want? And k? Cause of oily also means What do you want? 65. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32h: Quinto Quantum means how much the word Quantum has four versions in Italian masculine, singular mascot in plural family in singular unfeminine through in the singular. It could be used to mean how much and in the plural it could be used to mean how many So we have. Quintal is the masculine singular. 20 is the masculine plural. Cuenta is the feminine, singular, and quantity is the feminine plural. So, for example, Quanta Worley cuenta Worley means how much do you want? Quantity of Worley. AQuantive. Orly means How many do you want? Quanta Vin off? Worley. If you use a noun like vino, so any object after Quintal, then you have to agree. That means make it masculine or feminine or singular. Corporal, depending on what denounce is so, vino is masculine. Singular. Therefore, use quantum, quantum vino Worley How much wind you want, whereas pizza is feminine. So you would say Quanta Pizza of Worley, Quanta Pizza Worley ham of pizza. Do you want quantity? Polyvore Lee. 20 Poli volley that's in the floor means how many chickens do you want? 20 poli volley or in the feminine pro will have quantity. Pizza. Worley, Quanta Pizza Bully How many pizzas do you want? Quantum pizza? Worley. Now, seeing as you've had all the question words, let's practice them a little. How do you say in Italian? What you want to eat? Cause of worry, man. Jockey Kit Worley man. Jari. Oh, kick goes off when a man Johnny. So you can use any of the three versions off. What? Causa Okay or kick goes up. Which means why Quintal meaning how much quantity? Which means how many Quanta tempo, meaning how long and key, which means who or whom. So that's all the question was now in the infinitive carry a list we learned postal means Can I post so we can change its light to pour before. And that means can you poor means, Can you? We had Worley Worley means Do you want Stop there, Stop. There means are you going to? That's hard to more inventive carriers. Devil Devil means do I have to or most I devil. And if you change its light to Davy Davey means, do you have to almost you now in the infinitives we've already had man Jari mean to eat baddie, meaning to drink or denarii, which means to order nobody meaning to try Bugatti, which means to pay body, which means to do or to make knowledge. Ari meaning to hire on Daddy. Meaning to go Brenda Harry, which means to take I very meaning to have and Camby Adi, which means to change. 71. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32n: Let's add some more inventive carriers. Comprise Come pretty means to buy. Comprise coming, Charlie. Come. IngerRd means to stop it looks like to commence coming. Jari s sorry s city means to be necessary Party ray part of tea a day This means to leave it sort of looks like to part or to depart partiers or she day or she they means to go out . Oshiro Port Ari Port Ari means to bring poor retiree. We get the word a porter from it A porter is a man who brings the bags to your room in a hotel, Poor Tari is to bring spend every spend A with me is to spend as in to spend money Whereas Passat e Vasari is to spend time or to pass time Very Daddy very, very means to see very Cam Adi Kim Adi This means to call camera arrest Ari Lestari means to stay at rest are true body through body This means to find Tre vie We actually get the phrase treasure trove from this treasure trove The truth means found found treasure So when you when the pirates found the treasure with a treasure Truth from Tre Vie which means to find and d day d day means to tell or to say d a So how would you say in Italian when you want to leave Cuando volley part eerie, Cuando very part eerie. Dobie Volleyer Starriest Acerra. Dobie, What is restarted? Sauceda, Whom can I cool? Keep bozo Cam Ahadi, keep also camera. 72. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32o: turning it all negative. There's one more useful thing that you can do to this structure quite easily. Make it negative. You can change the infinitive carriers from positive to negative, for example, in English. Why are you going to Milan? Will become Why aren't you going to melon? Can I go with you? Would become contact with you? Or when can you do it will become When can't you do it in English? It's simply a matter of putting a little n apostrophe t after the verb where it's just a simple is high in or you have to do. To turn the infinitive carries negative is put a non in front of it. Just the letters. N O N non You place in front of the infinitive carrier, for example, Worley Worley means, Do you want non worley non volley means Don't you want? You can do this with any of the infinitive carriers in the question of firm. So non posso means Conte non poor means caught you non Vaughan Lee. Don't you want non stop there. Aren't you going to non devil? Don't I have to? Non Davey, Don't you have to? So let's have a quick practice with these. How would you say in Italian? Why can't I go with you? Hurricane on porcelain, Derek Only perk eight non postman Derek only. What can't you bring? Because ah nonproprietary causa. Non poor. Poor Tyree. Do you want to buy something for Maria? Non volley Comprado qualcosa pair Maria Known volley. Comprise Qualcosa pair Maria him. Can't I call Keen on postal camera Key number. So camera, What? Can you do it later? Beckenham, Profile up, you charity barricade! Non poor. Far up you, Charlie. 73. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32p: Let's see if you remember how to say all the question words the infinitive carriers on all the infinitives that we've learned in this course have to say in Italian. Where don t What causa okay or kick goes What time Que order? When Cuando how? Call me which or which one Quietly Why per k? How much Quinto? How many? 20. How long or how much time? Quanta temple. Who or whom? King Can I bustle? Can you poor Do you want Worley? Are you going to stop there? Do I have to? Almost I devil do you have to Almost you Davey I can postal You can pull You want Morley, You're going to stop it? I have to Why most devil you have to Are you most there? They I want volume. I'm going to stop here to eat Monge Adi to drink Baddie toe order Ordinary to try providing to pay Paige Adi to do or to mate Fathi To hire knowledge Ari to go and Daddy to take Brenda Re to have are very to change Come body to buy comprise to start coming Jari to be s city to leave partier to go out or c A to bring Port Ari to spend money, spend every to spend time Basanti 74. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32q: to see Have a daddy to cool Kim Adi to stay But I study to find Travade to tell or to say D day tomorrow Domani today org tonight Stuff now Order later Pew tardy to Rome or in Rome Aroma to Italy or in Italy, in Italia, at the restaurant or to the restaurant I restaurant the chicken it upon. No, the red coat Capito Roso a ticket one billion for Marco Mathematical And here Queen How would you say in Italian? What you want to bring because of worry? Poor retiree Causa one report Adi, what can you eat? Cause a poor man Jari cause a poor man Jari, you're going to spend too much money stopper. Spend the retro peacefully stopper Spend rate drop easily What can you see? Cause a poor very cause I pulled my daddy. When can I go out? Qanda Paul So she Cuando poor so she I can bring some wine for power tomorrow Posa Porta del vino Pierpaolo the man Postal Porta del vino Pierpaolo The money Can I eat at the hotel tonight? Also my injury bosom Andrea Albergo So Sierra, can you call Maria at court last fall Polka marry Maria I'll a Quattro a quarto for camera . Maria Alec Quattro Quarto. Can I pay the bill posted by Guardian Contour Pro? So PAG are you goingto? 75. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 32r: Where can I find it? The Apostle travel alone. Dove A postal. Trovoada. What time you want to start? Okay. What? Have worried coming, Charlie? A k or a voice coming. Charlie. Which ones do you want to try? Quietly, Worley. Providing quietly void providing what you want to do tomorrow. Course of what He founded the money Causa volley. Fadi Doumani. You can buy it later for compatible pew. Tardy for comparable open. Apparently. Can I go out later? Masayoshi rape you, Charlie. Poor So she any brutality? I want to go out later. Volume Voglio Oshie Repute You won't see it? Volume in a row. We live in a row. Do you want to try it? Voice provide alot of oily provide alot Which one do you want to hire? Quietly warning only Jari. Quietly voluntarily Jari, Who would you want? See in room? Keep Oliveria Roma Keep what? Even any aroma whom you have to see in Milan keyed every Bavaria Milan key David area Milano who may going to see in Verona Key Stop Pervade area Verona Key. Stop it about any other owner. Now let's finish with a structure One outline so you can see on the screen. All the question. Where's that? We've done the infinitive carriers and then a selection of infinitives and extra information for you to practice. And what I find is a good thing to do is to say one sentence. For example, Dove a possum injury. Domani. Where can I eat tomorrow and repeat it to yourself and then try and change one part at a time without stopping? So, for example, Novy Possum and Jared Amani Darby Postal Mandiri, Domani Darby Pasta Margherita Money Darby Possum and Dario G. Dobie Possum and Dario G que Paso Mija Georgi, Keep also man Dario G K Possum and Garissa Sierra. And so what you're doing is changing one thing, and it helps to get your tongue around this structure, and it makes it easier for you to speak quickly. Andi fluently. 76. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 33a: Here's your first phrase for this lesson. Oh, or Dean Otto. Oh, organ. Otto. It means I ordered or I have ordered. The reason I've put the have in brackets is because in English there is more than one way to translate Ordina toe in English. You can say either I ordered the chicken or I have ordered the chicken in Italian. However, both the sentences would be the same or the notto will pull no or the natural polo. So how would you say in Italian? I've ordered a bottle of wine or the notto one of Otilia D'Avino or D notto Have Otilia leaving, You know, how would you say I ordered a coffee, but it isn't here or did not own cafe manically or D notto Cafe mine iniquity. I ordered a red wine, but I would like to change it or deny auto in Vino Rosa Maverick Camby Arlo Ordina Toe in vino roso Mavrey Camby Arlo I've ordered the chicken or did not do it, Paul No, or d natto El Pollo I ordered for Paolo Or did not Opare power? No or d notto Pierpaolo. I ordered a wine, but it isn't here or d notto in Vina Martin iniquity or deny auto in vino known equity. You might be able to guess what this next phrase means as it's made up of words. We've already seen Fairlee fairly. It means for you. Pair means for and lay with the capital. L means you. So pair lay for you. How would you say in Italian I've ordered for you or the not Opare lay or d notto? Barely. You might have noticed that Fairlee is the same as the phrase that we learnt in course, one off three minute Italian meaning for her. Well, that one is spelt with a lower case. L The Late has a lower case L whereas in this phrase pair lay has a capital L in les when there's a lover case L it means her or she when it's a capital l it means you in speaking. Obviously you can't hear the difference. And so sometimes there may be a little bit of confusion. But the situation should be able to tell you which one is being referred to. So bear lay with a capital l means for you. So how would you say in Italian it's for you. A pair lay a fairly 77. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 33b: How would you say in Italian? I ordered the wine for me. It isn't for you Or did not onlv No pair may known apparently. Or did not. A little vino perm A non? Apparently that is for you Cuello A pair Lee Quello April E That is absolutely perfect View Cuello A absolute lamented perfecto barely cuello a Oslo Demented perfecto Barely. Here's your next word In Italian known known it means not known. So how would you say in Italian? Not for me. Thank you. Number may Grad See nonpermanent grassy I ordered the chicken. Not the pizza or the natural Polo Nana Pizza or the natural polo Normal A pizza? Not for you Non pair away known barely. That is for Marie and not for Paolo Cuello. A pair Maria Non Pierpaolo Cuello A pair Maria Number Paolo. Here's your next phrase for this lesson. Oh man! Giotto! Oman! Giacchetto! It means I have eaten or I ate. Oh man Giotto! So we've seen man Jari is to eat Well, this one's a little different. Oh, man! Giotto! I have eaten and this is another example of where in English there is more than one way to talk about the past. For example, you can say I ate the chicken or I have eaten the chicken. However, in Italian, both these sentences would be the same. Oh, man. Giotto. Polo! Oh, man. Giotto. El Pollo. So how would you say in Italian? I ate at the restaurant Oman Jocko Restaurant. They Oh, man. Giotto Al Restaurante. 78. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 33c: How would you say in Italian? I ate here with Maria. Oh, man. Gotta qui con Maria. Oh, man. Giotto! Quick on, Maria. I've eaten absolutely everything. Oh, man. Giotto. Absolutely mental. Oh, man. Giotto Absolute a mente to toe. Your next raise in Italian is a start. A start? Oh, it means it. Waas a stop. So how would you say in Italian? It was fantastic. A stat of and testicle a static fantastico. Or how would you say I ordered the chicken? Andi, it was fantastic or did not follow A They start off fantastical or did not. Real polo a start off fantastical. So in this sentence, the word and which is usually a becomes ed e d. And that's because when you have the word and followed by a little word a Then rather than saying a you change the first word the end to ever So it becomes and they start off fantastical. It's just to help you to link the words together. How would you say it was here? Start a qui a static? We I think it was good There may a startle won't know better. May a start of one. So s that means it Waas In actual fact, the phrase s data means it Waas or it can also mean it has bean. So if you want to say in Italian it has been good Then you would also say a start of one. So how would you say it has bean fantastic here a start off fantastical queen, a start off fantastical queen. 79. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 33d: So in this lesson, so far we've had or d natto, which means I have ordered or I ordered Fairlane, which means for you none. Meaning not. Oh man. Giotto, which can either mean I have eaten or I ate a status, which means it waas or it has bean. And you cannot support things in front of a Statoil and get something like Quello est Otto , which means that was or that has bean. So how would you say in Italian that was perfect. Cuello a startup Perfecto cuello A startup perfetto or how to say it was 42 weeks a static bear do Is it demanding a star toe hairdo? A city money? The phrase a startle means it was, But it can also mean just waas so you can put things in front off a stat. Oh, how would you say the chicken was delicious? El Pollo A start of squeeze Ito El Pollo A start off squeeze Ito. Or how would you say Paolo was at the restaurant? Paolo, A startling restaurant. Paolo A stat o restaurant. Everything was extraordinary. Toto, a start off strong Dinari Oh, photo A status Stroud Inari. Oh, well, how would you say? I think the food was terrible. Pair May Tebow a startup they reveal pair may If Tebow a start off their Revilla. The phrase a startle is used with masculine knowns. But if you're talking about a feminine noun, you change it slightly to s data, they start them. So a starter ca mean waas or it waas with feminine knowns. How would you say then? In Italian? Maria was here with Sophia Maria s data Qui con Sophia Maria s that a quick Sofia? Or how would you say the pizza was absolutely delicious? Thank you. La pizza A Stata Assata meant exquisite A grassy la pizza Stata a Slota meant exquisite photographs. 80. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 33e: How would you say? In Italian, the restaurant was very busy. E restaurant A starter Motor company Restaurante a starter Motor company. Otto Now we can change a status slightly by putting a non in front of it on we get non ist Otto non ist Otto. Which means it wasn't noticed that So how would you say in Italian? It wasn't very good. Not a starter Motor born? No, the starter Motor born. Or how would you say I ordered the chicken but it wasn't very good or the natural polo My Nani start amount of war? No. Or did not follow Martin Only start amount of Oh no, it wasn't here. Nani Sadequee Notice that a qui It was good book. It wasn't perfect. A starter born Noma noticed Otto Perfetto A start of one No non e Stata perfetto. Do a city mind a start on demand Now, just like before you can change Nani Statham to non e stata with feminine knowns. So Nani start That means wasn't or it wasn't with feminine downs. So how would you say in Italian, the pizza wasn't very good, but the chicken was perfect. And just keep in mind that the word for the pizza, which is LA pizza, is a feminine noun in Italian LA pizza. No honest automotive. Born Maher El Polo A static perfecto LA Pizza. No honest automotive Orna Marco Polo, a starter Perfecto. 81. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 33f: How would you say in Italian? But today I'm going to order the pizza or the natural Polowy Eri myoho ji stop their ordinary pizza or the natural Polowy Eri my oji stopper Ordinary la pizza Well how would you say Maria was here yesterday? Maria a start a qui e ery Maria a start a qui e ery So in this lesson we've had or d natto which means I ordered or I have ordered Fairlee which means for you Oh man Doctor Meaning I ate or I have eaten a status means it Waas awas No ni startle means it wasn't or just wasn't you use a staff Uh, when you're using a feminine now to mean Was it waas? You use non e stata to mean it wasn't or wasn't When you're using a family now, Andi e every means Yesterday 82. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 33g: it's time now to practice what we've learned in this lesson. How do you say in Italian? I've ordered two bottles off red wine bought. I'm going to order a bottle of white wine as well. Translations to recap words and phrases that we learned in previous lessons. How do you say in Italian? It's 90 euros for two nights at the hotel in Bergamo in of anti euro pair. Do we know they albergo a Bergamo, a nova anti euro bear doing north. They allow Albergo a better government. Do you have a map of room on a map of the Roma on a map of the Roma? Can I have a pizza? Cheetah were so last beyond. I'm going to Milan before 10 o'clock. Vado Milano. Prima Della deity. Vado Milano. Prima donna deity. It was there towards the shop. A star Tola were so in the goats. So estar tola were so in a goat, so I would like a bigger car that is too small on a pew. Grandi Makina quella a troppo Picula Verena Pew Granny Maquina quella a troppo Picula. So here we've used quella for that because referring to wanna Martina a car which is feminine Onda. We've also used the feminine version off small piccola instead of Piccolo because it's still referring to the same thing. The car, which is feminine. But this sort of thing is one of those times where you shouldn't really worry about making a mistake If you said here cuello a drop of piccolo instead of quella a trouble. Pickler. There isn't anybody who wouldn't know what you're talking about because you've already referred to the car. Previously for a on a pew grand a maquina cuello a drop or piccolo, it still means that is too small so people would know what you're talking about. So don't worry too much about making those tiny errors. Finally, how would you say, Do you have a basket? Our contest ingestible 85. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 33j: And now let's do some Italian to English Recap. Translations. What are these Italian sentences mean in English? How do you say in Italian? I ordered Oh Ordina Toe I ate Oh man Giotto for you Fairlee not known it waas a Statoil. It wasn't no honest Otto yesterday e at e Here's a useful phrase in Italian last Esa cosa last a Sacasa. It means the same thing last Esa Gaza. Gaza means thing Stessel means same and Latin means the so literally is word for word lapsed esta causa the same thing. So how would you say I would like the same thing? Very last. Esa cosa voor a last Khoza How would you say I've ordered the same thing? Ordina Auto last esta cosa Ordina Auto last esta cosa Can I order the same thing? Boasts award denarius. That's Icaza Also ordinary last Esa cosa. The same thing for me, please Last s because upper May per February last esta causa pair may per February. How would you say I ordered the chicken yesterday? Andi, I've ordered the same thing today Or did not will Polowy Eri a Ordina Dallas Tessa Khoza org or the natural Polowy eri a or d? Not a last Esa cosa orgy in Italian. If you want to say the same thing as somebody, you have to use the word d For as we've already seen, that d means off. So in reality, what you're saying is the same thing off in Italian, for example last esta causa de paolo means the same thing as Paolo Last s a Casa de Paulo. So the D in this phrase means us last esta causa de Paulo the same thing as Paolo. And so now we know that d means off. And it can also mean as only when you put it with last s a causa you comport anything on the end of the word De for example last s a Casa de Lui the same thing as him last Esa Cosa delay The same thing is her. If you use a capital l for Les, you get less Icaza delay meaning the same thing as you last s a casa de me the same thing as me. And so let's test because that d means the same thing as so. How would you say in Italian? I would like the same thing as you Varela Sessa Causa Delay Very last Esa Cosa delay 87. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 34b: How would you say in Italian? I have ordered the same thing as Maria or Dean Apple last. That's according to Maria. Or were the NATO last esta causa de marry? Yeah. Can I order the same thing as him also or denarius? Texaco's Louis Postwar denarii last because of the Louis I would like the same thing as yesterday. Varela Sessa Casa de e ery for a last s a casa de every. Do you want the same thing as me Volley Last s a causa de may volley Last s a cause that he may or you can put Lay in there and you'll get voil a lay last because And you may How would you say Are you going to all of the same thing as me stop their ordinary last Because of the May stuff that ordinary last s a cosy may startle a bear or deny lasted because of the may I'm going to do the same thing today as yesterday stopper Fahri Last s a cosmology The e ery stopper Fahri Last s a cardiology D eri I'm not going to order the same thing as Maria. I don't like it non stop their ordinary last esta casa di Maria No me PRT nonstop bear Ordinary last esta casa di Maria non me prg So non me PRT don't forget can mean I don't like or it also means I don't like it until it commune Both things in the same way as me Pyatykh can mean I like or I like it. 88. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 34c: I'm going to give you two words now that have the same meaning but are used in slightly different ways. You know, throw and Ankara you now throw and an quarter. They both mean another, but you can't use whichever one you please whenever you want. There are slight differences between the two. Let's look at two sentences for a unalterable Otilia D'Avino for real. You know, travel. Otilia D'Avino means I would like another bottle of wine. Vora, Ancora, una materia D'Avino, Vora ancora Una bhatia D'Avino also means I would like another bottle of wine. However, the first sentence means I would like another bottle of wine as in a different sort. The second sentence means I would like another bottle of wine, as in the same sort. So you know Altra means another, as in a different one, whereas an quarter means another, as in the same sort. So firstly, notice how the UN altro becomes una Altra if it's referring to a feminine thing in the phrase and so own Altro is for masculine words, and it's two words June Altro, whereas Una Altra is used for feminine words and it's one would so hoon apostrophe Altra. I'm quarter is used when you want the same type off something. So you want to know the bottle of the same sort of line literally on quarter means again. So what you're really saying is I would like again Ah, bottle of wine of or a ancora una about Ilya D'Avino Also because it means again you can say things like Ivorian Cora last esta cosa veran Cora Khoza I would like the same thing again Literally. I would like again the same thing. So if you're drinking some wine and you really liked it and you finish the bottle and like another bottle of the same wine, you would say Vohra and Cora Manav Otilia D'Avino I would like another bottle of wine meaning the same sort. However, if you're drinking some wine and you don't like it and you would like another bottle of wine but a different type, you would say for a communal crap Otilia Devi, you know, which means I would like another bottle of wine meaning a different sort. So how would you say in Italian? Do you want to know the bottle of the same thought volley on Koran about Delia of all away and quarter wanna Bokeelia? Or how would you say you want under the bottle? When a parent, that's the only Stahl a pair fiery when a printout Cioni are you going to make a reservation? 95. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 35a: Let's not this lesson with a quick recap off the words and phrases that we learned in the last lesson. How do you say in Italian? If it's possible, say a prissy Millie, The same thing Khoza the same thing as him last day Sacasa de Lui the same thing as her last Esa Cosa delay the same thing as me last s a Casa de may the same thing as you left. That's a cause that delay the same thing as Paolo left. They say Causa de Paolo, another meaning the same sort or again and quarter another meaning a different thought. You know, I'll throw or in the feminine you get una Altra. Now hopefully you won't need this next phrase But here it is just in case me fat Miley me family. It means my something hurts me family and you comport any body part where the doctors army family Now the literal translation off meat family isn't actually my something hurts. If you were to translate me family word for word it would mean to me it makes pain me fat Miley to meet it makes pain. You can put any body part on the end of this phrase to say where it hurts. However, one thing to remember which is different to English is that an Italian? You don't say my head hurts, but rather the head hurts. And this is the same for any body part. You don't say my you say the so, for example, me family Testa me family. Testa means my head hurts. The world will attest. That means the head. So what you're literally saying is to me it makes pain the head, me family, Testa or me family in a nozzle means the nose. So me family, your nozzle means my nose hurts or literally. To me, it makes pain the nose. When you're talking about a plural body part, that means more than one thing. Then me family changes to me. Fano Miley, This is because me fan No, Molly means to me they make pain rather than it makes pain. So, for example, me fan O'Meally Leo Key myth anomaly Leo Key means my eyes hurt. Leo Cookie means the eyes so literally it means to me they make pain the eyes. So when you're talking about more than one body part, so here we're talking about the eyes. Well, there are two of them. Then you say me fan normally rather than me family. Me fano, Molly Legum May means my legs hurt because we're talking about more than one leg. So literally it means to me they make pain. The legs. Me fan. No, Molly leg on me. If you were to talk about just one leg, you would say me family La Gamba. So la gamba means the leg. And so you say me family La Gamba. My leg hurts literally. To me, it makes pain the leg. So how would you say in Italian? My head hoods me family, me family Testa. 96. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 35b: So it'll nazal even as or means the nose in Italian even now as well. So how would you say I've hurt my nose? Me family in as a me family. Now I've put a vocabulary expansion section at the end off this lesson with a list of body parts in Italian. On you comport any of these on the end off the phrase me family. Just remember, though, that if you have a plural body part, you have to say me Fano Marley instead. His another phrase that hopefully you won't need Misano Rato misson nor Otto. It means I've broken my something Misano Rato just like with me farm Miley, When you use Missan or Otto, you comport any body part on the end of this to say what it is that you've broken and the rule about using the rather than my still exists. So you would say I've broken the leg in Italian instead of I've broken my leg. Misano, Roto La Gamba! I've broken my leg literally. I've broken the leg. If you're a woman, however you change the phrase slightly to Misano Rata Misano rata is the feminine version off. I've broken my so Misano Rata. So, for example, if you're female and you want to say I've broken my leg, you will say Misano rata la Gamba Misano Rotella Gamba! So if the Italian word for finger is a little detail D I t o l d Ito, how would you say I've broken my finger? Miss Onorato, Alito Mison or Auto Ito? Or how would you say I have broken my nose? Miss Onorato, Your Nazem Miss Onorato, you Nazal! So, in this lesson, so far we've had me family. Which means my something hurts me. Family, me fan No, Molly means my something hurt. That's the plural version. Me, Fano, Molly and then Misano Rato, Misano Rato means I've broken my Misano Rato. And if you're a female, you say Misano rata Instead Here's your next phrase in Italian for this lesson. Della Medici name de Medici name. It means some medicine or any medicine Daily meditation. So how would you say in Italian? Can I have some medicine? Bar soap rendering a dilemma, Jeannie. So Brenda Leigh Delamere routine 97. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 35c: How would you say in Italian? Do you want some medicine? Volley dilemma? Gene Wal away in the Mediterranean Do you have any medicine at the Limited? Jeannie? Uh and then I made it. How would you say I would like some medicine for a daily routine for a day? I have put two extra vocabulary expansion sections at the end of this lesson. These second and third sections contain lots of vocabulary for medicine. Andi illnesses just in case you might need something specific. His your next phrase in Italian for this lesson. Appraisal. Oh, appraisal. It means I've caught or appraisal and it could mean I caught or I've court as in I caught a ball. Or it can also be used to say I caught a cold. And so any meaning of the word I court is appraisal in Italian. You would say I've caught again a cold Oh, praise Mancora in rough read or oh, praise one Korea Yoon are afraid war Or how to say I've caught a small cold appraisal in piccolo referenda Worry Oh, praise o on Piccolo are afraid way Andi, Here's another word that thing go with or appraisal Lee Influenza blue influenza It means the flu. You would literally say I've caught again the flu. Oh, praise on Cora limb fluency. Oh, praise one, Cora influenza. Or how would you say the flu is terrible? Well, influenza eight air evenly lee influenza a revealing. So in this lesson, so far we've had me family, which means my something hurts me fun. No, Molly, which is the plural version. And it means my something hurt. Misano Rato means I've broken my and that change is likely to miss on Arata If you're a woman, Della Merete name means some medicine or any medicine off praise o means I've caught on a raft ride or means a cold, and Lynn fluency means the flu. Well, here's your next phrase in Italian missin mise en tow. It means I feel missin toe. So how would you say in Italian? I feel well, Miscenco Ben missin thought, Ben Or how would you say I feel very well, Miss Cento Multi band missing tomato. Ben, how would you say I feel very well today? Thank you. Mise en tow. Multi Benny on a grassy mise en tow. Multiple an orgy grassy Well, how would you say I feel terrible? Mise en Toto! Rebuild mise en toe, Terry Miller. I feel very ill, Miss Antemortem Ali. Mise en tow Mull tamale. Or how would you say I don't feel ill today? Not missing tomalley orgy, Non missing tamale or G? 100. 3 Minute Italian Lesson 35f: The word manly means ill when you use it with the phrase Miss enter. So Miss n Tamale was I feel ill However, there is a second word for ill that you can use in situations other than where you use me Central And that word is my lotto Moloto. So let's look at two examples firstly with Miley and then with my lotto. So Miss Cento Miley mise en tamale means I feel ill. But then so no, my lotto. So no, Moloto means I am ill. So you use Miley Only when you're talking about feeling ill. Otherwise you would use Moloto. So how would you say in Italian? I am ill. So my last So no Moloto Or how would you ask? Are you ill?
