About This Class

Sometimes it's hard to break through writers block, come up with an idea, or even form a creative habit. This class will help ease your way into storytelling by providing you with different daily scenarios/prompts. I'll give you a new scenario each day, along with a set of questions to help you formulate an idea. The goal will be to plot by answering these questions. You'll plot for five minutes, do an initial write for five minutes, return to receive a plot twist, and then write for a final five minutes utilizing the twist given. We'll do this for fourteen days.

On the fifteen day, we'll go over what we've written, try and find connections, choose our favorites, and use them to write a completed, cohesive piece. This final project can become the start of a novel idea, a short story, or a collection of flash fiction.

The goal of this class is to help you find connections between seemingly random bits of writing, and to provide a tool to help you break out of writers block or discover your creative edge.
