The way it works is simple. You proposed to your blog's readers that the best way to ask you anything is to subscribe to your email list. So maybe your audience has a particular question about weight loss, about website traffic, cooking or any topic that your blawg covers. So for a call to action on your lead capture page, you could say something like this for a limited time. I'm answering all the questions you have about X Y Z topic. Subscribe now to get your questions answered. Or perhaps if you have a question about X Y Z topic, then joined my email list so you can ask me anything. This is lead magnet idea number one the Ask me anything method, which is one of the easiest ways to get a lead capture page up and running fast. This is, quite frankly, one of the coolest lead magnet ideas, because if your leads are consuming a video course that you created, they're going to know you like you and trust you tremendously. This is going to help Sky Rocket the success of your email list. Your subscribers will never ask. Who is this person emailing me? Because they're going to know you like you and trust you. If you don't have a video course, then you could always give away a book instead. However, to be honest, I think giving away a video course is better. So on your lead capture page, you could write something like this, join my email newsletter, and you can snag any of my courses for free guaranteed. Or you could write 100% free course shows you how to get endless amounts of website traffic , simply subscribe and then enroll after they subscribe. You could simply provide direct download access. If you're giving away a specific course or book, or if you're letting your subscribers choose any book or any course that they want, you should invite them to contact you so they can tell you what they want. So you could literally have a thank you page that lists all of your books and all of your courses, along with the contact form, so that your new subscriber can contact you toe let you know which one they'd like to get for free. The paper lead method is all about pre selling a cost per lead offer. A cost per lead offer is a type of affiliate link where you get paid each and every time someone you refer subscribes. Typically, you will be giving away some type of free gift or a chance to win something, as in a sweepstakes for each person that joins you earn a small commission to find paper. Lead offers search offer vault dot com where you can literally type in anything like three gift card free iPod free iPhone or anything. You can even search by paper lead or c p A. Offers. So maybe you could promote a paper lead offer you find on offer vault dot com that pays a dollar 75 cents per lead that you generate for giving away a free gasoline card or maybe a free WalMart gift card. This is a really cool lead generation idea because it allows you to give something away for free while at the same time building your list. It's also very flexible because, as you search, offer vault dot com, you're going to find a massive list of C P A and paper lead offers. And if you're not sure what C p A stands for, it basically means cost per acquisition, which is just a fancy name for a paper lead. So on your leave Capture page, you could write something like this, subscribe and enter for your chance to win a free iPhone. Obviously, you're going to want to change the copy based upon whatever it is that you are pre selling or on your lead capture page. You could say Join my email list and enter for your chance to win an X Y Z for 100% free. This was lead magnet idea number three, the paper lead method, which is basically pre selling a paper lead offer. And this method is really cool because it allows you to potentially earn commissions as you grow your audience, while at the same time giving cool stuff away to your audience. So this could be really cool if you can brainstorm and angle it in a way that is really interesting for your audience. The fourth lead magnet idea is something I call the lazy reader method. The lazy reader method is all about giving away some type of cheat sheet or a checklist of some type. This is probably one of the most traditional and popular methods to build your list as a blogger and will work the best if you have an audience who loves your topic, For example, you could easily create a cheat sheet showing the top 10 ways to lose weight the top five website traffic methods or a checklist that shows everything you need to build your website . You could even monetize your checklist or cheat sheet as an affiliate if you wanted to, but that's optional For now. Ask yourself what type of cheat sheet or checklist your audience would love and then simply create a short giveaway. So when you leave Capture Page, you could write something like this. Download this exclusive checklist that shows everything you need to build a website in the next 24 hours, or maybe download this free cheat cheat that shows exactly how to lose weight fast before your next visit to the beach. This was lead magnet idea number four. The lazy reader method, which is basically offering a free cheat sheet or checklist that your audience would love to get their hands on once again if you want, you could even Sprinkle your own affiliate links throughout the give away, so this can even be a Pdf file. Or it could simply be a hidden block post on your website. And this is a really cool way to give something away that your reader can actually consume in one sitting. Because, let's face it, how many 200 page books do you have on your hard drive that you've never actually consumed ? I know that I have several, and that's one of the other benefits to the lazy reader method because it's a very short download, and I think that your readers are statistically more likely to actually consume it. The wall method is all about having a comprehensive tutorial or a case study on your block , and you slam a wall, so to speak, in front of your readers before they get the chance to finish the content. So maybe if your audience wants to continue reading or to get the conclusion of your case, study, tutorial or guide, then they have to subscribe to your newsletter in order to get it. This can be accomplished simply by posting 50% of the guide on your blawg, or you can simply admit the concluding 10% or 15% of the content. This is absolutely genius, especially if you can put together an awesome piece of content that your audience is going toe have to finish. So on your lead capture page, you could write something like this to continue reading X Y Z K study. Subscribe to my email newsletter. Or maybe if you want to read the rest of this exciting content, get free access by joining my email newsletter. This was lead magnet idea number five, The wall method, which is basically putting a wall in front of some of your best content while enticing your readers to subscribe. The bright, shiny object method is all about offering an infographic to your audience so you could write down instructions, some kind of cheat or a method to describe any process. Maybe the five best ways to promote your block, the five best ways to build your email list or the five best ways to lose weight. It could be absolutely anything that your audience will love. Then you simply go to Fiverr dot com and have someone creates an infographic describing your process. This should only cost you anywhere from 5 to 20 bucks. You could also use a free service such as Can Va to create an infographic if you wanted to do it yourself. The reason why this might be a genius idea is because so many people end up requesting a lead magnet. Then they never put it to use. So maybe you could give away a massive 200 page report. However, as I mentioned it in previous lecture, I believe most of your end users are never going to read that 200 page report so you never build any authority, prestige or goodwill. If you're lead magnet is never consumed. That's why the bright, shiny object method. It's so cool. Because an infographic is so easy to consume, you simply download it. You look at it and then you process whatever message that you're trying to convey in your infographic, so it's very impactful on your lead capture page. You could write something like this. Download my five proven methods to build your email list. Fast guaranteed or maybe stunning system reveals five different methods to shed fat fast before your next beach party, 100% guaranteed. This was lead magnet Idea number six, the bright, shiny object method, which is a really cool way to offer something valuable that your end users will actually consume. The registration method is all about offering a seat on a webinar, either one of your own webinars or an evergreen affiliate, Webinar. So why is this so genius? First of all, if you have your own webinar that you host than offering a seat on your webinar can be one of the best methods to build a list while at the same time building massive report, prestige and authority. This is in addition to the fact that you could also potentially cell almost anything that you want. So if you have a coaching offer or a high ticket offer, or if you just want to promote an affiliate offer, you can easily at least try that on a webinar. If you don't have your own webinar to promote, then you could always join one of the Facebook Webinar marketing groups and simply ask around for affiliates webinars that you could promote. Promoting affiliate webinars allows you to give something valuable away to your audience, and you'll also have a chance to earn commissions if somebody buys while on the webinar. If you have trouble finding and affiliates, Webinar simply reach out and ask me, I happen to know several affiliates Evergreen webinars that you could promote. If that's the case, then remember that the majority of people will be too shy to take you up on your offer. But if you offer any type of coaching or consulting or any high ticket offers, then this could be one of the single best ways to get clients. So imagine if you could offer a free 10 minutes coaching call. Your subscribers will have some interesting questions to ask. You'll probably builds rapport with them that will last a lifetime. One thing's for sure. If you give someone 10 minutes of your time, they're going to remember you for years upon years, and they'll probably stay subscribed to your email list for a very long time. Not to mention the fact that you could even up cell you're really coaching offers your high ticket offers. You're webinar offers your network marketing offers or absolutely anything you want at the end of your coaching call. However, this method is designed to be very quick and easy, just in case you don't wanna have to create your own videos. Necessarily. The best thing about the authority video method is that you can even find a related affiliate offer and then promote that affiliate link directly below your video. So maybe you find a cool tutorial on how to lose weight, how to build a website with WordPress or how to find more Twitter followers. You can then embed that video into your own blawg via the YouTube and bed feature and then promote related offer directly below that video. Your call to action below the video could be if you want to learn Maura about X, Y Z, check out this super cool resource on your lead capture page, you could write something like this. 100% free tutorial shows how to find boatloads of leads on Twitter, even if you've never used it before. Or maybe free video shows exactly how to X y Z and less time. Even if you're currently struggling subscribed toe watch immediately. So what you would do here is either collect or find as many free you to me or skill share courses that you can find. Or you could even find different instructors and reach out to them to see if you can have free coupons for your subscribers. After browsing you to me dot com or skill share dot com, you will be able to find plenty of free courses. What you're doing here is simply organizing them, so it's convenient for your readers. You can even look in the U to me studio, which is the official you to me Facebook group, where instructors are giving away free coupons all the time. Simply message the instructor and then ask permission to share the coupon with your subscribers. So when you lead Capture Page, you could write something like this. Download a massive list of 100% free courses on X Y Z topic when you join my email list or maybe get over $500 of free chaining when you join my email list today. How To Get Your Blog Readers To Actually See Your Lead Capture Page?: how to get readers to visit your lead capture page. I've known a boatload of bloggers who just can't get their readers toe opt in to their list . One reason that happens is because they are too afraid to promote their lead capture page. So here's my advice. Promote your lead Capture page shamelessly. If you visit my Blawg mr Computer science dot com, you'll find that I promote my lead capture page prominently. I have exit intent pop ups, so when you leave my page, you'll have a gentle pop up inviting you to join my email newsletter. You'll also see that I have a massive welcome bar at the top of my page. And even though I rotate promotions, oftentimes I promote my lead capture page on both my welcome bar and on the exit intent pop up. Using the free tools that add this dot com provides, add this dot com is an awesome free resource that lets you promote your lead capture page via pop ups, welcome bars, side panels and a ton of other widgets that are golden for bloggers. So definitely check out. Add this dot com. I also have an opt in box after each and every blood post that I ever right. Even in my main navigational menu, I promote my newsletter. Finally, on my about me page, I have several calls to action, prompting my end users to join my email newsletter to make a long story short. Don't make it hard to join your email newsletter. My blawg is riddled with a ton off lead Capture page links. Here's another massive tip. Maybe you don't wanna have one lead capture page and one lead magnet. Maybe you could have 10 different lead magnets with 10 different lead capture pages. Or maybe just a few. Think of it this way. If 100 people visit your website, not all of them are going to be interested in your one lead magnet. Maybe 20 of the visitors will want your lead magnet. Maybe 20 visitors want lead magnet a hand. 20 of them want lead magnet be and 10 of them want lead magnets. See, the points that I'm trying to emphasize here is that your end users are all different. The more hooks you have in the water that better once you're blawg has an adequate amount of locations where your readers. Conjoined your list. You're going toe. Have more freedom and creativity because you're going to know that your content is more powerful as a result. It's kind of like going fishing. It's the famous metaphor that I always talk about because you can always catch more fish if you have different hooks in the water. Only this time we're not talking about going fishing for a big fat truck. Instead, we're talking about your readers, so that's how to go forward.
