Posting your first video, growing a following, and more.
Whether you’ve created a video that you want all of your friends to see or you just want to share something that came across your For You Page with your followers on other social media sites, TikTok makes it incredibly easy to share a TikTok video to other channels.
We’ll cover how to share TikTok videos on Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat, but good news: The process is almost identical for all of them.
Wondering how to share a TikTok video with other people on social media? Walk through these super-easy-to-follow steps.
Once you’re watching a video on TikTok, click the arrow in the bottom-right corner, which will take you to all of your distribution options. If you want to know how to share a TikTok video on Facebook, just click that blue Facebook icon, and the app will take you right to the platform to post.
Keep in mind that you need to be signed onto Facebook at that time for this to work!
The steps for how to share TikTok videos on Instagram are the same as those for Facebook, except this time when you’re choosing a social media platform to use, you’re going to choose the Instagram or Instagram Stories icon as opposed to the blue Facebook one. Easy enough, right?
Once again, the steps for how to share TikTok videos on Snapchat are identical to Facebook and Instagram; you’ll just click the Snapchat button within the app as opposed to the other social networks available. That’s it!
Lots of users also want to know how to repost a video to TikTok, and that only takes a few steps. Before you do this, however, just remember to give the original creator credit. You’d hate to have your work stolen or reposted without your permission, so do right by others on the platform too.
If you see a video elsewhere that you want to repost on TikTok, you’ll need to download the video and then go into the TikTok app. Simply press the plus-sign button to create a new video, and then click on “Upload” in the bottom-right corner to upload the video. From there, you can crop it, add a voiceover or other sounds, or incorporate any other fun effects you’d like.
That’s it! Now you know how to repost a video on TikTok.
Armed with your new sharing skills, you’ll become the person in the friend group who’s always curating and posting the best content from around the web. Who knew that cred could come from simply learning how to repost a video on TikTok or share one?
