Project Update | June 15, 2020

We are so grateful for our amazing community. This May 2020, you shared more than 10,000 projects on Skillshare, an incredible milestone. Now, as part of our One Project, One Mask initiative, Skillshare is donating $25,000 to One Million Masks, a project to help get healthcare workers the protection they need. Thank you for helping us give back!

To our amazing community,

Your acts of creativity and self-expression inspire us every day, and now more than ever, we are so grateful for all the ways you help to make these days brighter.

Watching all of the things you’ve made has bolstered us during these uncertain times, and we want to pay it forward by helping communities beyond Skillshare. So, we’re excited to announce our One Project, One Mask initiative: for every project uploaded to Skillshare in May, we’ll donate a piece of PPE to One Million Masks, a project to help get healthcare workers the protection they need.*

Whether you’re looking to draw, photograph, write, or create the next Oscar-winning video short, all Skillshare classes are eligible. We encourage you to explore and find a class that speaks to you. And, because we know the impact your creations can have on the world, we also encourage you to share your work more broadly and see what others are creating using the hashtag #SkillshareOneMillionMasks.

Looking for a place to begin? We’ve also curated a list of classes popular for creating fun and fulfilling projects: Skillshare x One Million Masks Curated Class Collection.

As always, thank you for continuing to make the Skillshare community a bright spot for us all, and we welcome hearing from you at [email protected].

In creativity,

The Skillshare Team
