Beautiful eggs! I like the first egg photo!

Look at both of your shots of the oatmeal: See how the first one has no light coming from any specific angle? It is a flat boring shot. And then look at the second one (where the spoon is in the bowl): It is beautiful! It has light coming from the back that hits the cranberries so perfectly! Do you see the difference? The first shot shouldn't even be here! :-)
Your last shot is kinda of a cute shot as well by the way... I like the simplicity.

Love these. The before and after is a great idea. Food looks like it was thoroughly enjoyed.

The last one is sure fun. So much going on is the third one, I can totally relate.

I like the first one and the last one. Not bad for phone photos! The last one has good light coming from the back. The first one I like because it has a good crop. Excited to see what you can do with your SLR!

Hello all! 
Since people seem to be jumping in with their photos, I thought I'd upload a few pictures taken with my phone (I'll be using my DSLR for the class!). Hopefully this will give me some gauge of improvement in terms of composition, I know the lighting will definitely improve once I use a regular camera. These are mostly photos of dishes I've made at home with one post-meal restaurant photo.
