Spoon + straw seem like something totally fresh and new.

I really like the idea of spoon and straw but I like them to participate in creating "ee" and also to be more simple and minimal. Good job Ms. teacher :)

I really like the myriad of designs that you've come up with. When I think of Astoria, I think of delicious Greek food, a developing economy (in contrast to Brooklyn/Manhattan)-those are some of the things that I love the most about the place-there's an opportunity to find affordable housing, or a great mom-and-pop restaurant that's still undiscovered. I think the first design encapsulates this energy  and I am drawn to it (I think block parties)-you could even play around w/the font and colors. I also like the foodie inspired designs, lower right hand design. 

I love asparagus + Spoon. Especially if you can simplify it!

I like the fork x spoon in the lower right section and also the revolving ribbon in the top left. Perhaps try to combine the two? I'm also drawn to the coffee ring one.

I can't help but love the food-themed ideas. (I guess I should go eat something.) 

Astoria, Queens - I love the food, the people, the culture...there are so many things that make Astoria an awesome neighborhood...mainly the food...
