HATCH Theatre is a place where children can explore their creativity, express their voices, gain self-confidence, laugh and play.

Sara Conte is a freelance casting director and acting coach living in Queens. Creative and driven, she has contributed six years of casting services in a variety of forms from casting extras, non-actors and reality talent for TV and Film, to casting lead actors for national commercials. (Credits include The Amazing Spider-man, Gossip Girl, Nikon, Ikea and many more.) As an acting coach with a performance studies background and several years working with All Children's Theatre in Providence, RI, Sara knows how to create a fun environment where students find their unique voice through interactive learning.

Amanda Thompson is an award winning director and teaching artist. She has directed plays in the Fringe Festival, the Frigid Festival, the Player’s Theatre, Abingdon Theatre, and Wings Theatre. She has worked extensively with the Looking Glass Theatre and a Festival of Fools Theatre Company, and is currently an artistic director of Theatre Without Pants. She has worked all over the five boroughs as a teaching artist teaching acting and directing technique, improvisation, creative movement, and dance.
