“Pamela's class on The Information Crash Diet was informative and fascinating. She was able to attract a diverse audience of participants, which made for excellent discussions. Even more importantly, Pamela managed the discussion expertly; she kept direct lecture to a minimum--just enough to present key ideas--and spent the majority of her time facilitating an interesting discussion. She was able to walk the (very tricky) line between allowing participants to share their thoughts and keeping things on target: she excelled at keeping things on target, and steering the discussion back toward the topic of the class whenever we began to wander. This steering was done so well, though, that it felt like a natural part of the conversation: she used the comments of the students as segues into the points she'd planned, and made great use of both visual and auditory information presentation. Pamela is clearly a very skilled teacher, and her interest in and passion for the topic came through strongly. I'd recommend taking any class she offers, as her impressive breadth of knowledge and pedagogical skill makes for a fantastic combination in the classroom.”
