For about 25 years, I worked as a dieitian/nutritionist. During that time, I did a lot of freelance writing. At various times, I had a column in Shape magazine, the Dallas Times Herald, and the Dallas Morning News. I also co-authored the recipes for the first edition of the American Heart Association Low-Fat, Low-Cholesterol Cookbook. Currently, I blog at Monamifood.

I love to cook and experiment with new foods and recipes! To me, cooking is exciting, fun, rewarding, and I love sharing my passion for good healthy food with others!
