"Give me a tissue, I will put Boogie in it"

Passionate about movement, powers of observation, travel, and cross cultural knowledge, Kean Gardner's bumbling to boogie dance journey took him from "Revenge of the Nerds" to "You got Served".

Born and raised abroad by military parents, a structured, rigid, and academic background led him to apply thorough observation to a hidden passion: dancing. Not a natural by any definition, years of gathering resources, self-structured practice and lessons, and engagement in the dance community supplied a profound understanding of what makes good dancers appear to be good.

Kean has been a seasoned street/Hip Hop performer for 10 years, and has taught classes in a variety of performance aspects. Spending most of his youth honing his poor performance skills, he has since captured 1st place in countless talent shows both on local and regional scales, opened live concert venues for Mos Def and the Roots and other artists, facilitated classes in universities and corporate environments, and mixed/edited all the music for these performances. Basically, he will tear up any floor you put him on, and his passion is to help others do the same!
